SQVI problem

Hello everyone,
I am not sure if t-code SQVI should be posted in the ABAP form area, but I think it is ok.
I need to make a list of my costumers, and their AKONT in Excel so I am using SQVI.
I am trying to join KNA1 a KNB1. So in the selection window I choose u2018Table joinu2019. In the u2018Choose data sourceu2019 screen I choose tables KNA1 and KNB, because the primary key is not correctly selected, I drag the link line to KNB1-KUNNR. I press F3 and in the configuration screen I select the fields I want.
The problem is, when I execute the query, the system says there is no data selected. I do not understand why.
I have tried to do a simple SQVI from KNA1 and it selects data, but if I join the tables I get that information.

did you checked KNB1 has data or not....
or
may be you can try to test in different client of the same system...

Problem on viewing SQVI

Hi All,
Could you please help to resolved this issue.
User reported one problem, She is Executing the Transaction SQVI in that Quickview she is entering MAN_CONDREC, after executing this report she is getting the selection screen after executing the report result showing in the report,
Now user is requesting she want add one more field in that report ( Field is from pricing master recore User transction code ( CDHDR-USERNAME)
NOw the problem is.
1) I can not able to see this quickview MAN_CONDREC in my system, how can i
    see that in my system.
2) How to add this CDHDR-USERNAME in that view.

Hi ,
     After going to the change mode, in the left side of ur screen , there is Table join...if the table cdhdr is there the expand it and click on the check box of username in the list fields column, if the table cdhdr is not there then in right side click on the Data Soruce tabstrip and then click change join. try to add the table using edit option and then follow the first steps for displaying the username.

SQVI output problem

Hi Experts,
Got a problem in SQVI output. data was repeated twice.
I combine bsis and mseg and selected the following fields:
bsis-budat
bsis-blart
bsis-belnr
bsis-dmbtr
mseg-bwart
mseg-weks
mseg-matnr
link is bsis-belnr and mseg mblnr.
i dont know whats going wrong.
any help will be greatly appreciated.

now select the data from MSEG

for all entries in t_bsis

delete adjacent duplicate from t_mseg comparing all fields.

Problem while creating queries using SQVI

Guys,
I have many diff versions of sap's. 4.6c, 4.7, 4.7uc, 5.0, 5.0uc and so on......
I have to few queries in 4.7 in SQVI, i have to make it in sync in all the othr servers.
I have created all of them in all servers, but while creating in 4.6c, when i am using option "table Join" while creating query in SQVI, the system doesnt take me to next screen.
What could be the problem. Its going to next screen when i use option "table" but not when i use "table joins".
Can v transport these queries ( i mean SQVI queries, not those in sq01 ).

I am using table BSAS, BSIS and J_IEPART2 Table in SQVI but while generating a view, system is giving me error that
BSAS-PRODPER is not defined in the ABAP Dictionary
BSAS-PROPMANO is not defined in the ABAP Dictionary
Please provide me the solution

I think you are using the structures instead of tables.
Please select the corresponding views - not structures.
Check OSS note 90320 .

Problem with SQVI (Quick Viewer)

Hi,
Over SQVI (Quick Viewer) I am trying to connect Tables CDHDR (date and user of last change in vendor master record), BKPF (date of last posting on vendor) with LFA1, LFB1, LFBK, BNKA. But I do not find any connection of these two tables with others.
How can I join the first two tables with others in order to create a report with necessary data?

Tengo un ausnto que no me esta funcinado muy bien con lo querys.
Quiero generar un query para revisar cuanto me vale una material Obsoleto en mi inventario. Tengo creada una caracteristica en material, en la vista de clasificiación un material.
Quiero hacer un reporte que me muestre los materiales obsoletos y su valor en mi inventario.
entro por la transacción SQVI, la ejecuto
1.Aqui entro al generador de Querys, le pongo nombre al query y le doy crear.
2.Escribo la descripción y le doy unión de tablas.
Pongo las Tablas
Ausp
Mara
CABN
Despues selecciono los campo caracterisitica en la tabla CABN en la MARA no de MAterial
Cuando la ejecuto no me trae datos, me dice ningún dato seleccionado.

Problem transporting a program created by sqvi txn

hi guys, i create a query in SQVI, and i create a program, then i tried to transport it , but the following error occurs when i tried to write a transport entry or Change package assignment or
Object directory entry.
Message no. TK313
Diagnosis
The object list of request/task DEVK929463 contains the object R3TR PROG AQ20SYSTQV000069Z_REP_PEDIDOS=. This object requires an entry in the object directory, however this entry does not exist.
System response
The function terminates.
Procedure
Proceed as follows:
1. Call the extended view of the Transport Organizer (Transaction SE01), and choose Display.
2. Enter request/task DEVK929463 and choose Continue.
3. Position the cursor on the request/task DEVK929463, and choose Edit -> Expand.
4. Position the cursor on object R3TR PROG AQ20SYSTQV000069Z_REP_PEDIDOS=, and choose Object -> Object directory entry.
5. Enter an appropriate package and save.
If you are in the display of request/task DEVK929463, and want to check whether the object list contains any other objects without directory entry, then position the cursor on request/task DEVK929463 and choose Request/task -> Object list -> Lock objects. A list of all objects with errors appears.

SQVI queries can not be transported, If you want to transportable query create them via SQ01.

Resolve to some SQVI's join problems

I want to link the SQVI table 1-VBRP 2-VBRK 3-J_1IEXCDTL
In these table link,VBRP and VBRK is ok but can not link to all these 3 tables at a time because the table FIELD link of J_1IEXCDTL DOES NOT MATCH WITH MY FIRST TABLE vbrp .Is it possible to link the these tables?
Also,please provide the totorial notes on SQVI,If possible?

SQVI - Report for vendor bank details.

Hi all,
I am using SQVI -- Quick viewer reporting tool to get the vendor bank details. for that i am using tables
LFA1
LFBK
BNKA
TIBAN
I joined the above mentioned tables by using table joins. I cross checked the vendors in Tcode: FK03.
But i found that the vendor is not having IBAN number in the transaction, where as list is showing the IBAN number.
So please clarify me why it is happending.

I tried with the join conditions provided by you. But the problem is ...
If a vendor is having 2 IBAN numbers, then the first IBAN number is fetching not the two iban numbers.
Why it is not taking the first entry in FK03 tcode.

Problem with selection fields in SAP Quick Viewer

Hi Friends
I am using SQVI t-code to develop the SAP queries. I have developed a query using tables KNA1, VBAK and VBAP. Initially I used customer number, customer name, city, document creation data, document type and document number as selection fields. Now I have removed customer name, city, document creation data, document type from selection fields. I am executing this query through a Function module "RSAQ_REMOTE_QUERY_CALL". While passing the data to selection table, even after deleting the 4 selection fields, still I have to pass the sales document number positioning as 6. Is there any way to solve this and make its position as 2.
I have gone through the FM "RSAQ_IMPORT_QUERY", there one table parameter O_DBSE will retrieve the values for selection fields are designed for that query, again its tedious process, I have create a customized function module and make the required changes. Instead of using this FM, is there any table which stores the data of the selection fields of a query. I have tried for the table and I failed to find that.
Please help me in this regards

Hello, I am trying to create LSMW to upload KP06 also, we have been uploading by copying and pasting once we run the iverview layout and then save. The problem is that we can only do this by G/L account. We want to use one file to upload all. Can you give me some tips how you were able to accomplished. I am familiar with LSMW, but tcode KP06 behaves in different ways. Do you use the flexible upload to load the fiel thru LSMW? Can you tell me which fields you touch in KP06 when you were recording?

Problem in select query in QUERY INFOSET

Hi All
I have requirement to find the sales text maintained for sales order in mass in production. By using the FM READ_TEXT i can pass the necessary values to get the sales text. We dont want to write a program and then transprot to P01. So what i did in SQ02 i create a infoset and worte code in the infoset. Here i am facing the problem that in the select query where clause what ever on the selection screen values, for that the query need to fetch the records. But selection screen is dymically selected based on SQVI t-code.
In select query if i write like this
SELECT TDOBJECT TDNAME TDID TDSPRAS
       FROM STXH
       INTO TABLE IT_TEXT_DETAIL
       WHERE TDOBJECT     EQ C_KNMT .
Here i have hardcoded KNMT so it will fetch only that value irrespective of any values on the selection screen. How to get the values based on the selection screen. I debugged the query it automatically generates the code for selection screen which i am not able to pass in the program.
SAP has generated this code
select-options SP$00004 for STXH-TDOBJECT.
select-options SP$00005 for STXH-TDNAME.
select-options SP$00006 for STXH-TDID.
If i pass SP$00004 on where clause its giving me error. So how to pass it dynamically. Waiting for experts answer.

In this case concatenate 'TDOBJECT' 'EQ' C_KNMT INTO V_WHERE (Say) SEPERATED BY SPACE.
DATA : v_where(90) type c.
clear v_where.
CONCATENATE 'TDOBJECT'
                           'EQ'
                           C_KNMT
                           INTO V_WHERE
                           SEPERATED BY SPACE.
SELECT TDOBJECT TDNAME TDID TDSPRAS
       FROM STXH
       INTO TABLE IT_TEXT_DETAIL
       WHERE (V_WHERE) .
Try to do this and let me know in case of any.

View mismatch in SQVI tcode in User level

Hi,
I have copied an user A from user B.
Everything is same i.e. role,profile,parameter.
Problem is that B is able to execute and see the reults of tcode SQVI in the initial screen
But user A is not only for that tcode.
Any idea?

Limiting number of rows returned by SQVI

I've created a query in SQVI and I need to limit the number of rows returned by the query. (I'm using the query as an exploratory tool, and it's not easy to predict how many records will be returned based on the selection fields I'm using.)
Is there any way to add a 'Maximum No. of Hits' field to the SQVI selection screen similar to what is found when using SE16?

It's not surprising that you are confused because the documentation doesn't bother to explain what the "fetch size" actually is, it just says that setFetchSize sets it and getFetchSize gets it. As I understand it from some other documents I read about JDBC, the fetch size is a number that may be used internally by the JDBC driver. Here's an example of how I understand it (others, I know you will feel free to correct me if you disagree):
When the driver produces a result set with a very large number of records, it has to generate those records and deliver them to the system that requested them. If the database is not on the same system, then those records must all travel over the network. It could be a performance problem if you had to wait for (say) 80,000 records to travel across the network. Enter the fetch size. If you set the fetch size to 100, then the driver will bring the records across in batches of 100, as the program calls for them. Now, this buffering is transparent to your program; the driver doesn't tell you that it's getting another batch and you can't tell it to get another batch. So it is not a solution to the problem that everybody has here, namely how to display your records 10 per page and allow the user to go back and forth among those pages, like search engines do.
