SQVI report

Hi All,
I wanted to make report for number of sales order created per day with plant. On the initial screen Sales documnet, Plant, Sales org, Division, distribution channel, order type, plant, created on and created by.
I have to use VBAK , VBAP table. Help me in joining the tables and fields.....

SQVI Report for SAP CRM Product Hierarchy and its Product

Hi
How to create a SQVI report for generating a list for SAP CRM Product Hierarchy which should show the outputs->Level 1, level 2, level 3 and level 4 categories and its products?
I tried COMM_Hierarchy table and Comm_product but not able to achieve this requirement.
or Is there any chance of getting related tables so that I could try more for this requirement.
In which table both product id and its category Id can be found?

Is there any possibility to get a report for product hierarchy in SQVI ?
say in SAP CRM system, the product category is maintained in COMM_HIERARCHY as
Parent category Id->
                                Level2 Category Id->
                                                                 Level 3 Category Id->
Level 4 category Id ->
Product Id's
(I understood the link between Level 4 category id and product id with your info.) but not able to achieve the requirement fully.
Is there any possiblity to achive for generateing a report?

SQVI report for 3 fields

Hi friends,
I want to create a SQVI report in which the query is to give out put for "MATERIAL NUMBER AND G/L account AND MATERIAL TYPE"
I understand that material number and G/L account are not linked directly. Could anyone please help me in identifying the tables name with which i can link above three fields?

You need to get from the below tables
Material Number -- MARA
Material Type -- MARA
Valuation class -- MBEW
GL Account -- T030

How to modify existing code of SQVI report?

Hi Expert,
There is a SQVI report which has already been created but we need to change the one for new requirement.
is there any way to modify existing code for new requirement?
Can we edit in abap workbench?

Savita,
You can not modify SQVI system generated code. You need to go to SAVI change mode and make modifications. If your requirement is a sort of additional fields or inserting come code into the program , then SQVI is not the choice. You need to use Infoset Queries (SQ03, SQ02, Sq01).

Copy SQVI report from PRD

Hi,
A report was created using SQVI in PRD and I like to know if there is a way to transport it to our DEV or QAS system?
I know this should not happened in the first place hence just want to find out if there is a way to copy the SQVI report from
PRD to QAS or is my only option is to recreate the report in DEV and then do the transport again to PRD?

You may have transport request if not then need to create a transport: Se01 --> create transport --> Select transport of copies --> Give description.
select new transport --> Click on include objects --> object list from transport request.
Now double click on the transport --> go to properties tab --> assign correct Target System.

SQVI Report Issue

Dear All,
I have created the report in DEV server with SQVI transaction code and assigned the t.code(ZVL06) for the same.
I have transported the request w.r.t t.code to PRD Server.
I am getting an error that the program not found/does not exist.
Then i found that the program does not moved PRD.
then i created the same report in PRD with SQVI.
Here the issue is that other users cannot able to execute the report.
After searching in SDN i came to know that SQVI reports are user specific.
1) How the other users can execute the report?( No authorization for SQVI T.Code)
2) How to move the SQVI report to PRD?

Reg. SQVI report

Hi,
   There is an SQVI query written by some other user. I need to change this query now. I am not able to view the query created by other users. What should I do to view this query in production.

                             Your response helped me. I have used below function module to get details of a query from report name.
RSAQ_DECODE_REPORT_NAME.
I find this function module very helpful but still I am facing issue...
Below is the SQVI report name.
REPORTNAME                      AQ30SYSTQV000038ZRJVIW0034====
Output from above FM is as follows.
WORKSPACE
USERGROUP                  SYSTQV000038
QUERY                           ZRJVIW0034
CLIENT                            030
But, when I try to see user group(SYSTQV000038) from SQ03, I get a message " This user group is never created ".
Any idea, how to check this user group ?

SQVI - Report for vendor bank details.

Hi all,
I am using SQVI -- Quick viewer reporting tool to get the vendor bank details. for that i am using tables
LFA1
LFBK
BNKA
TIBAN
I joined the above mentioned tables by using table joins. I cross checked the vendors in Tcode: FK03.
But i found that the vendor is not having IBAN number in the transaction, where as list is showing the IBAN number.
So please clarify me why it is happending.

I tried with the join conditions provided by you. But the problem is ...
If a vendor is having 2 IBAN numbers, then the first IBAN number is fetching not the two iban numbers.
Why it is not taking the first entry in FK03 tcode.

Downloading in excel from sqvi report format in the background

Dear All,
We have developed couple of report using SQVI format for couple of reports. Now for those reports my client wants to download them in excel sheet and attach to the email, when email is triggered automatically to the specified email id's. Hi,
Get the report name in selection screen of SQVI, something like AQ30SYSTQV000002MARA==========.
Create a new job in SM36 with a step with this report
In this job add a SPOOL Destination with defined email or list of emails
When job is executed the spool will be automatically sent to the mailing list. If email attachments configuration is to generate an attachment in html format, that html can be saved from Outlook to local disk and opened in excel, as many html files.
If you want something more professional you'll need to create a program in ABAP that actually does the same as the SQVI but creates a file in excel format, using abap2xlsx probably, and then sends it to the distribution list.
Most excel functions in SAP requires the Excel in the frontend computer, so they cannot work in background or in the server side. abap2xlsx is useful in this cases.

Profit Center SQVI report guidance

We are trying to build a report that will give lots of text elements that coincide with the fico information for shipment costs. Essentially, every shipment cost settles against a freight p.o. The freight p.o.'s are set up to settle the costs to a dummy profit center and then at month end close, those costs are then transferred to the actual product line profit center. We are having trouble linking the PC data to the rest of the data. We have managed to link COBK, COEP, CSKU, EKKO, LFA1 and (I think) EKKN. The report runs beautifully until we try to add in GLPCA and then it bombs. We have tried left outer joins, rearranging the layouts, and a slew of other things and NOTHING helps. Can anyone suggest a place to look? Thanks.

In ECC 6.0 version ,
For Profit center wise balance sheet you can use Tcode S_ALR_87013336.Here you can see all profit center values, plan -actul values and variances too.
For maintaining gl account and profit center default assignment you use Tcode 3KEH.Here you give range of gl accounts to profit centrer.

I have a requirement to generate a report to get Sales order's 'ACTION' details like its Status (mandatory).
I tried the tables:
CRMC_LOG_PROF - Customising table to maintain log profile
CRMC_OBJ_LOG - Customising Table for linking log profile to Business obj
but
no result.
Can anyone tell in which table I should work on it?

I know that SQVI is suer specific.
Is there a way that we can make the SQVI query generated by me , avilable to other users.
I do not want to transport it from Development system to production environment.

Hello,
In transaction SQ01, select the option in the menu Query->Convert Quickview. Then you can mention the SQVI Query name to be converted, New Query Name, Info Set and User Group names. Then a Query will be created and it can be accessed by Users assigned to the User Group.
If you are creating SQVI Query directly in Production, there is no requirement for transport.

SQVI Engineering change report

Hi all,
I'm trying to create a SQVI report to show:
a) Engineering Change number (AENR-AENNR)
b) Validate from (AENR-DATUV)
c) Plant and d) Item (for those, I use AEOI-USOBJ. This field stores the concatenation of plant and model, and there's no need to treat this)
e) Description of item (AEOI-OITXT)
f) Old part number (AENR-MATNR_LIDER)
g) Old part description
h) Old part qty
i) New part number (STPO-IDNRK)
j) New part description
k) New part qty (STPO-MENGE)
for now, the structure of tables in SQVI is this:
I'm trying to do a join between AENR (or AEOI) and STPO to get information about the new part (i and k above), but there are no filters to do it. In an example, I use an engineering change document that changes 4 models, trading the same components in all models:

New part: 2222222
Model: Y22222
Old part: 1111111
New part: 2222222
Model: Y33333

New part: 2222222

The problem is that there are no filters to determine what is the BOM that have to be shown for each model, so all the old and new parts are shown for every model, like this:

I tried to do a join between AEOI and STPO using STAS, but STAS stores the BOM category and the BOM separated, while AEOI stores these concatenaded.

How can I treat this? I searched for a lot of tables, and none of them suits me in this case. Do you know any another tables that could give me the filter I need in this case?
And one more doubt: the new part number and old part number are in different tables (STPO and AENR, respectively). How can I do the join with MAST table in this case?

This is not really an ABAP question, you might want to move this to MM or PP forum.
If you know of a standard transaction that provides this kind of information, you could use SQL Trace (ST05) to see how tables are being accessed.
I'm not an expert on these particular tables but you might need to do this in SQ01 query instead because we can write some programming code in those queries. Some table links might not be that straightforward, as you've noted.
