secnario rfc>soap(Digitally sign and encrypt)
error: IAIK REJECTED BY CERTICATE
we are trying to test signing and encryption using soap1.1 in pi7.11 system
we created test interface ,we checked mapping it is ok
i created private certificate and generated CA using service.sap.com/tcs and copied and pasted the response to same txt file which pem and renamed it as crt
now,i loaded the crt file to default Q in NWA as x.509 certificate
I have selected only sign option in reciver agreement ,activated and tested with triggering rfc ,error iaik peer certificate rejected
Tried all possible ways:
1)tried with custom view and default view/no go
2)tried by putting the x509 certificate in trusted CA,as it is a test certificate generated from service,sap.com/tcs,no orginal CA
3)Restarted java engine,icm,checked all settings like rfc etc
4)Followed all the instructions by forums,blogs,wikis
Need step by step advise and help,by an sr Expert in Forum

I require a technical expert advise from this forum ASAP. I hope you have some time amidst
your busy schedule and answer the required clarifications.
Problem Description:
I would like to write a custom function (e.g to convert local time zone to utc and from utc time zone to local) and import that function in the BO 4.0 universe so that universe has the ability to use this function.
I understand BO 4.0 supports importing of the custom functions e.g data_quality_custom_functions.atl.
Expert advise Required from you on below questions:
Now my question is how to write a custom function and generate the required .atl files that can be imported in the universe?
Does this require any specific tool/API's to generate these functions ?
Can we use traditional languages like C/C++ to generate the custom functions or does it uses any script based languages?
Is there any flexibility to accommodate complex algorithms in the custom based function?
Are do we have to approach SAP to generate the .atl files by giving some interface document?
It would be of great help at this stage if you could provide some insight into the mentioned areas as we are in a critical stage to finalize a design approach. If you have time to answer our queries and require additional details on why we have to go for custom functions then I will be glad to provide right level of details.

We have a requirement for a KM initiative to extract below information from Forum
1)User's Q&A Threads from Oracle Forums.
2)User's Tag [From Aria] related threads from Oracle Forums
Can some please provide some input/pointers on how data can be extracted from Forums programatically. Like RSS/Web Services or remote API calls?.

The fact that this is all available to google makes a claim of reserved interest in a boilerplate TOS kind of suspect.
Each post is the intellectual property of the poster, who would be the "third party provider," right? Most companies I know of specify that any use of company owned stuff belongs to the company, so if someone is posting from a company, that company makes the decision on whether it can keep posts, not Oracle. This is obviously a gray area, varying by place and time and maybe even content. SSO really warps this, too.
Of course, if the OP means keeping other users content in their own knowledgebase, that seems clearly prohibited. [So do not dare to click here|http://lmgtfy.com/?q=blushadow+site%3Aforums.oracle.com]! ;-)

Even if there is one, you won't be allowed to communicate in Chinese per SCN's rules, unfortunately.
Anyway, I don't think you're doing bad at all! A lot of your questions have already been answered but of course there are times when you might have trouble putting your thoughts to words. You can always post images at such times!

Just wondering, how to get answer from forum. Some time, for simple question, I don't see anybody replying.
Is there any other platform we get define answer or is there any support who can connect to our system suggest resolution?

If it's really a simple question, then most people probably think the poster can get the answer from the documentation, or by searching the forum for previous answers.

Advise from real developers

We have been using Flash for the last couple of years to
develop small applications and presentations used for project
reporting. Most of our clients use us because our presentations run
so much better and faster than their own PowerPoint or Acrobat
versions. Plus, there is a substantial benefit in having a
professional take care of design, information architecture and user
interface.
We have one client that has several different levels of data
confidentiality. In other words we now handle some of they’re
reporting, but because of corporate policy we are unable to handle
all of it. Leaving them to what they refer to as, “Death by
Powerpoint”. What they are asking us for is some sort of
templated version of what we do. For example, a simple Powerpoint
template... only, not Powerpoint and not so simple. A Flash app,
but something they can drop their own confidential information into
without using Flash to do it.
This would need to be something similar to
Flashloaded’s FCMSPro

Only it needs to be a desktop application like you might develop in
AIR.
What we’re looking for is advise from real developers.
What Adobe products would be appropriate for a project like this?

If you have solid experience and involved in various complex projects and worked/ given solution on various scenarios, you can very well go to Professional.
Generally, the questions are little bit complex in nature in professional course. About 60% on practical experience and 40% theory.
If you are confident, you go ahead with professional.
One more suggestion, jut get the information from SAP regarding upgrading from Associate to Professional.
Suppose if you get certification for Associate how to upgrade to Professional.

You need to download the Patch 4045639 (9IJDEVELOPER WITH OA EXTENSION ARU FOR FWK.H) from metalink and follow the install instructions.
It's zip a file and you just need to unzip it and set some ENV on your client machine.

Requesting advise from fellow Forum Members

Unfortunately my Grandmother is starting to lose here memory in old age.
She lives closeby, but alone and is visited by carers and family members five times a day.
At the moment she is prone to ringing random telephone numbers saying that she needs taking home; even though she's already there. They are usually local numbers that are similar to family members' numbers.
A stranger to the family received a large number of calls in a very short space of time and was good enough to contact the police. We would ideally like to bar all outgoing calls; except those to close family members landlines so this can stop. We cannot bar everything as she could need to contact us in an emergency.
We cannot take the phone away as she has a push-button alarm which alerts the carers and results in them ringing the house.
Do BT offer this sort of service ? Effectively no bar on incoming calls but a partial bar on outgoing ones ?

Don't worry, I didn't take it personally ;) Just wanted to point out that using the site directive can give different results (or perhaps the same results in a different way) to a plain old 'type in a name' search.
We do use Session 0 on the Apex Evangelists site (for example in the initial link to the home page), however when you navigate to the login page a new session id is generated (which is why that has been indexed multiple times by Google), also some other pages (for example the EuroTraining page have been indexed multiple times due to external links to our site referencing a link which already has a session id, rather than using the alias for it).
You're right you can spend a huge amount of time tweaking and cajoling things to increase your page rank in Google (and other search engines of course), infact I know companies that specifically employ people whose sole job is SEO. You're right, there are still things we can do to make the indexing a bit better. However for our purposes (at that time), the fact that the login page etc are indexed multiple times (for various reasons) doesn't 'hurt' us too much, we saving those changes for the next release of the site ;)
