S1 Yoga with ghosting - Looking for a replacement screen that doesn't ghost
I've had this system for around three weeks now and I can say that, while not terribly bothersome, the ghosting issue is definitely present and always makes me a bit concerned when using the device for long periods as I've heard some things about the retention growing worse over time. With that considered, I've two questions. The foremost is to what degree does the image retention grow worse over time, and how severe is it likely to become on a system that is used 6 or 7 days every week and anwhere from 2-5 hours each of those days? Secondly, I've heard that newer systems are shipping with screens that do not display any sort of retention problem and that service centers have such screens available. Would it be possible to obtain a replacement screen, which doesn't experience the retention issue, that I could simply swap myself? I would prefer not to have to send my laptop to a service center because I have a very regular need for it and couldn't spare it for more than a few days during the upcoming holidays. I have quite a considerable amount of experience working with such devices and making FRU swaps, and am confident that I could make the swap (assuming that the process isn't too particularly difficult), especially with reference materials to guide myself. Any feedback or information is appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Advise GNOME 3.4 theme with unified look for GKT3/GTK2
For older versions of GNOME 3.x I used Aldabra, and I was reasonably satisfied with this theme. But in GNOME 3.4 it's broken, GTK2 apps look like crap.
So, I've been wondering if there's any other theme that looks close to Aldabra/Adwaita and has a consistent look across GTK3 and GTK2 (which is really important for the obsessive perfectionist inside of me).
Any recommendations?I don't know if this is of any help, but I'm running XFCE now and a set of themes that looks nice for both toolkits are Zukitwo. I'd say you give them a try.

Hello
If i pass a lot of include paths to cl.exe that comes with Visual Studio 2010, and i also pass /Zi, cl.exe crashes (16.00.40219.01). Here's an attachment to reproduce the issue: http://www.filedropper.com/clexecrash
Extract the folder to your system drive root (C:\), and paste the contents of command.txt into a cmd.exe instance. cl.exe will crash.
test.cmd is a command file containing the line "/IREALLY_LONG_BOGUS_INCLUDE_PATH" 683 times, and /Zi. Please note, that if you either remove even one line of "/IREALLY_LONG_BOGUS_INCLUDE_PATH" or /Zi, the issue goes away. Without /Zi, there
seems to be no limitation of include paths. Please also note, that it's not the sheer number of /I switches that causes this crash, if you replace REALLY_LONG_BOGUS_INCLUDE_PATH with something longer, you can crash cl.exe with less /I switches.
This issue is also present in Visual Studio 2012 (17.00.61030), but seems to be fixed in 2015 CTP 5 (i don't have access to Visual Studio 2013, so i can't try). I know Visual Studio 2010 is not supported anymore, so does anyone know a workaround for this problem?
Thanks in advance,
PeterI cannot reproduce this issue with VS2013, your sample works well and generate a pdb file.
It seems a issue in VS 2012, but sorry about that I have no workaround for this. Please check this thread: this issue only appear in debug mode.

Problem with MonitorStart looking for specific CORRELATION
The help file for OO40 uder the topic "Monitoring Messages" says that "Messages can be monitored based on consumer name, message Id, or correlation".
How do I monitor based on correlation? I tried fiddling with the aqmsg.correlate property along with the monitorstart method but to no avail.
Filtering based on consumer name is a snap but does anyone know how to listen for messages based on the correlation? Thank you.I had a complete AQ sample (including correlation) in the "Oracle and Visual Basic Developers Handbook" chapter 12, but I am not sure if you can still get a copy...
Email me and I'll attach a ZIP with the code I used in that sample. -
Problem with executable: looking for an unkown saved instance
hello !
i'm working on labview 7.0
I have made a program and i always make and use the executable without any trouble. i have made some change (i have remove a page in a tab), and know the executable is always asking for "instance 3117 saved nameofthetoplevelvi.vi"... and obviously doesn't want to work anymore!? The point is that when i use the top level vi (not the EXE) it works well! is anybody knows what's wrong and how to solve that issue?
Thanks in advanceTools => Advanced => Mass Compile
Try it first on the individual file. I you change versions of LabVIEW it will bring your VI's up to the latest version. Like if you go 7.0 to 7.1 you want to Mass Compile all of your VI's to bring them up to the latest version otherwise it will have to do this every time you load an older file. It is a good idea to ZIP of Source Control your files before running Mass Compile.
