Src/application.cpp/error-3685 in Premiere Pro CC

Please help. I have a file that originates from CC that no longer works when I try to open it. I get the error stated above. None of the auto-save files work either. When I try to open my file, it seems to load properly, but then all I get is a blank Premiere Pro screen where the project would usually open. Everything freezes, and I can't even close Premiere Pro without Task Manager.
If you have any ideas, please help. I have something due in two days and need this project.

Hi lmadobe,
Welcome to the forums.
Have you installed the latest update 7.1 update for premiere pro cc? If not please update and then try to open the project.
Regards,
Vinay

    Grazie in anticipo dell'aiuto
I downloaded Adobe Premiere Pro, and every time I try to run it I get this message: "Error starting Adobe premiere pro. Premiere Pro can not access the preferences folder. It 'possible that the user does not have permission ... .. ". I tweaked the permissions of the folders, but continues to repeat the same message, without even allowing the applications to open. What can I do?
P.S. The strange thing is that Premiere is the only program that harbor the "pro" ... all the others are just CC. I do not know if it can be a factor ....
    Thanks in advance aid

    Ricky,
simply find your work folder and save everything in safe place.
If you have not changed any setting, it should be in user\your name.
About uninstall, just launch it like you'd want to remove everything, then, when the program will ask you which application had to be removed,
just sign premiere, mediaencore and company.
Unfortunately for you, I'm quite agree with Harm.
    Ciao

What is your OS ? Do you get any error message ?

  • Error installing Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 on winows 7

Installing Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 on my new Winows 7 computer and get an error 1311.source file not found.  The last file shown on the addy is Data1.cab.  Does anybody have an idea why that program will not install?  Thanks........

  • Application Manager is not offering Premiere Pro.

I downloaded the Application Manager so I could trial Premiere Pro. The manager downloaded just fine but Premiere Pro is not offered on the list. Every other Adobe products is there to install or Try BUT Premiere. Is there another way to download Premiere?

Do you see After Effects listed?  If Premire Pro is not listed it is typically due to the Adobe Application Manager detecting that the computer does not meet the minimum system requirements.  Do you meet or exceed all of the system requirements listed at http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/tech-specs.html.

  • Error message transferring premiere pro CS3 project ot Encore

I use an earlire version of Premiere pro with no problem.  I cannot use CS3.  I can create a project and try to export
it to Encore to burn it to a DVD, but I get the following message:
PGC "project name" has an error at 00;05;55;14  Internal software error %0, line "project name"-PGC info;name="project name", ref=Bpgc,time=00;05;55;14
One person suggested changing the Bitrate from variable to constant.  I did that.  Same error message.
I'm really frustrated.  Can anyone help?

Ah, the dreaded PGC error. I would suggest that you head to the Encore Forum, and do a search for "PGC." There are probably 5 threads, and two are very, very long. Look closely, as some replies are tangents, and never proved to be useful, but some suggestions did - in certain circumstances.
Look closely at replies by Jeff Bellune and Stanley Jones, as they offer the most info.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
PS - welcome to the forum. I would also post to the Encore Forum with as much info as possible, as Stanley never makes it over here and has worked on this error for some years.

  • HOW TO FIX error compiling movie premiere pro

HOW TO FIX error compiling movie premiere pro

Greetings, I recently had the same problem. I realized that in Export Settings Window - in the - "Source Range" -(below timeline of video Preview), Premiere using by  default "Sequence In/Out" option. Change it to "Work Area" and the problem disappeared. I hope this will also help!

  • Error message Adobe Premiere Pro CC has stopped working

I am working from a PC with Windows 7 and an i7 intel CPU. Premiere was working just fine and then one day it decided to throw errors at me when I try to place a clip on the timeline. The program will start up fine and import video clips, but won't allow me to add the clips to the timeline without presenting the error message. I have tried updating the drivers through Intel (some other form suggested this) but no luck. I also tried updating Premiere with hope that would fix it. I then uninstalled and reinstalled the program and still no change.
    Anyone else had this problem?
    Any answers would be great!

I have just had the same thing happen to me too. Everything has been working fine but today, Premiere has crashed/stopped working twice. I have managed to get back into it now, but it won't playback either the Source or Program Monitors, saying there is a 'Low-level exception in Adobe Player (Player)'.
