Sreensaver starts even though it is set to "never" in preferences

Also hot corners are inactive so there's no chance to activate screensaver accidentaly. Any ideas, please?

Mails are deleted even though delete is set to "never"

I have a wierd problem. I will just explain my setup to you guys.
I have an iPhone 4, Outlook 2007 and a webmail client all running up against an IMAP server. But I am losing mails in two different ways.
1. When I delete a message on my iPhone, it is moved to the "trash"-folder. It is allowed to stay there for a week, after this the iPhone deletes the mail from the server. This happens even though I in my setup have defined, that mails are never to be deleted from the folder.
2. When I delete a message in Outlook og my webmail-client, the message is marked for deletion. Every 1st of the month (possibly every 2 weeks, I am still not sure of this) my Inbox is autopurged. Since Outlook is unable to do this by default and I have disabled autocleanup in my webmail, I have concluded, that it must be the iPhone performing this purging.
These problems started when I got my iPhone 2 months ago, so I am pretty sure that the mailclient on the iPhone is to blame for this mess. I have contacted my ISP and asked them to read the logfiles - they say, that nothing out of the ordinary is happening and points at the iPhone as the culprit. Have anyone in here experienced likewise and possibly have a solution to the problem?

Verizon Media Manager will not start automatically with Windows, even though it is set to do so. This started with the latest update. I see that the desktop icon for Media Manager now has a security shield on it, and it requires UAC confirmation when you start it, which I don't remember the old version doing.
One thing I noticed, msconfig.exe shows that "C:\Program Files\Verizon\McciTrayApp.exe" is set to start at Windows startup, but the desktop icon used to start Media Manager manually has a target of ""C:\Program Files\Verizon\Verizon Media Manager\Release\Verizon Media Manager.exe" Verizon Media Manager".
I don't remember what the previous version was, but this one is 9.4.86. It asked me if I wanted to update it a few days ago, and I said yes.
I am running Windows 7 Home Premium.

Try setting the startup option to off and then to on again. It looks to be pointing to a wrong location.

Firefox is not warning when closing multiple tabs, even though it is set to warn me in preferences! Unchecking and rechecking the box does not help, it's as if Firefox is ignoring the option to warn when closing multiple tabs.

You can set the warn prefs on the about:config page to true via the right-click context menu or toggle with a double left-click.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
You can use History > Restore Previous Session to get back the previous session. 
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page.
Another possibility is to use:

Could you confirm that when you re-open the sorted album, the display order on the top bar just over the browsing space is still in 'album' order ? That order may have been changed to a date order. For me, I get the order of the last album I opened, not necessarily the 'album' order of the present album.

Push notifications require an active Wi-Fi or cellular connection. If you are not receiving notifications for a specific app, try these steps:
Verify that the app supports notifications.
After installing an app or restoring a backup to a different iOS device, open the app at least once to begin receiving notifications.
If the app requires entering or logging in to an account, you will need to do this before receiving notifications.
Check Settings > Notifications to ensure that the app is configured for notifications.
If notifications do not appear only in the Notification Center, verify that the Notification Center setting for the app is enabled.
If you are still unable to receive notifications and you are using a Wi-Fi connection, verify that the network or firewall is not blocking access to port 5223.

If possible I would arrange for a good service center to go over it. Hopefully they have a variety of parts in stock. They can test and verify all is working. The previous attempts are based on guesses by the person at the other end of the phone without diagnostic tests to assess the culprit. It is extremely unlikely for a webcam to fail & for it & a Mic to fail together should be an indicator to a good technician it is something else. EG Motherboard
Take it to a servicing dealer and wait for it.

You may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Conference Room issue, double bookings allowed even though AllowConflicts is set to False

Hi. I used ADsi Edit to completely delete/remove my public folders database. I now run Get-PublicFolderDatabase and it doesn't find one, so I think I have completely removed it. My issue is that all my conference rooms are now allowing double bookings
even though AllowConflicts is set to False. I'm pretty sure I have jacked this up due to deleting the public folder database. What should I do to correct this? Thanks. John

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. You may have a contact that has a different ringtone assigned to it. Just navigate to the contact and see what ringtone is assigned to them.

In addition to the default ringtone, you can assign individual ringtones to people in your contacts so that you can tell when a particular person calls.
Alternatively you can reset all settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. This would put your iPhone at factory default on everything settings wise and it does not touch the data on the phone

Having put my home-page under "new windows open with home-page" solves the "blank title page problem".

Try setting the Energy Saver to "never" and uncheck "put hard disks to sleep when possible". You can allow the screen to sleep after any suitable time.
