SRGB außerhalb von Adobe Software?

Hallo!
Vielleicht ist dies eine dumme Anfängerfrage, aber mittels der üblichen Websuche habe ich keine Antwort gefunden:
Die von meiner Kamera (Olympus C5050Z) gespeicherten Bilder beinhalten das sRGB Farbprofil. Dieses wird aber anscheinend von allen gängigen Graphikprogrammen wie IrfanView, XnView, ACDSee etc. ignoriert und die Bilder wirken blasser als in PSE 4.0, wenn ich hier das Farbmanagement eingeschaltet habe. Das Farbprofil sRGB wird wohl nur von der Familie der Adobe-Software unterstützt.
Meine Frage ist nun: Welchen Sinn macht es, das Farbmanagement von Adobe zu benutzen, die Fotos entsprechend zu bearbeiten und optimieren, wenn eine optimale Darstellung wiederum nur mit Software von Adobe möglich ist?
Ich denke da auch an den Online-Fotodruck. Verwenden diese Firmen gewöhnlich das sRGB-Profil von Photoshop, oder wird dies ignoriert, womit dann alle Mühe umsonst war?
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, die Fotos
so zu exportieren, daß andere Programme (siehe oben) oder Geräte (Beamer, PhotoCD etc.) genau die gleiche Darstellung verwenden können? Prinzipiell muß das ja möglich sein, da ich ja auch einfach den Bildschirm kopieren und als JPG wieder abspeichern könnte. Im Menu von PSE finde ich nichts dergleichen, und ich habe alles mögliche ausprobiert.
Ich wäre sehr dankbar, wenn man mich hier aufklären könnte, damit ich mich entscheiden kann, ob ich das Farbmanagement in Zukunft überhaupt benutzen soll.

Ob die verschiedenen genannten Programme das Farbmanagement beherrschen weiß ich nicht. Aber, um mit Farbmanagement zu arbeiten ist ein kalibriertes - hardware kalibriertes - System notwendig, ansonsten sind ja nicht feststellbar, welche Farbe wie tatsächlich aussieht.
sRGB ist kein Profil von Adobe, sondern ist das Standardprofil, das angenommen wird, wenn nicht mit FM gearbeitet wird oder sonst bei Low-End-Anwendungen.
Allerdings lässt sich nie ohne Farbmanagement arbeiten, wenn es "ausgeschaltet" ist, dann wird mit den Standardwerten gerechnet, es ist nur dann vom Benutzer nicht kontrollierbar. Deshalb ist Arbeiten ohne FM nonsens, umgekehrt man soll nur mit Programmen arbeiten, die das FM beherrschen.
Damit die Darstellung bei den verschiedenen Geräten übereinstimmt, müssen alle Geräte kalibriert sein, ansonsten ist die Ausgabe zufallsbestimmt.

Liebe Adobe Gemeinschaft.
Vor ca. einem Jahr bin ich in die Adobe Creative Cloud eingestiegen obschon ich etwas dagegen war. Meine Kreditkarten Informationen einfach so bekannt zu geben.
Alles lief ohne Probleme ein halbes Jahr lang bis wir die Kreditkarteninformationen wechseln mussten.
Es gab bereits Probleme mit der Mehrwertsteuer aber wir dann in eine Team Cloud wechseln wollten wurden uns ein zu hoher Betrag abgerechnet. Wir beanstandeten diesen zu hohen Betrag aber nicht einmal Adobe Support war
im Stande dies zu ändern und bat uns abzuwarten da Sie intern dies klähren wollten. Ein paar Tage später hatten wir plötzlich anstelle eines tieferen Betrages ein "Neues" Abonnement auf der Kreditkarte belastet. Eine erneute Beanstandung
mit dem Support ergab weiterhin Probleme mit interner Software seitens Abobe und man könne momentan nichts tun. Wir wissen vom Vorfall dass Adobe vor Jahren mehrerer Millionen Kreditkartendaten gestohlen wurde, so sorgfälltig
geht Adobe mit externen Daten um. Schade um diesen Giganten der nicht einmal sowas auf die reihe kriegt.
Nun gelang es mir vergangenen Sonntag mein Abonnemt in meiner Cloud einstellung zu stornieren aber siehe da zwei Tage später bedankt sich Adobe bei meiner "neuen" Bestellung. Nun werden mir Monatlich vier Einzelplatz Lizenzen
a 88.95 (384.25) Franken abgebucht und mir sind die Hände gebunden. Adobe schafft es nicht meine Abos weder zu verwalten noch zu korrigieren. Der Support selber versteht nicht einmal richtig Deutsch. Schade solche Mitarbeiter zu beschäftigen!
Der Support ist kaum erreichbar, nur Telefonisch und sonst kommt man zu einem chat, hat jemand für mich eine E-mail Adresse? Ich finde diese Art und Weise wie mit Kunden umgegangen wird einfach schade. Keine Hilfe mehr bzw. geschultes Personal welches
im Stande ist einem zu helfen bzw. Probleme zu lösen.
Ich werde versuchen in Zukunft bei Avid oder Final cut mein Glück zu finden, dieser Adobe Software Konzern ist einfach nicht in der Lage eine saubere faire korrekte und freundliche Dienstleistung anzubieten.

Wie deaktiviere ich die 32bit-Versionen innerhalb von Adobe Creative Cloud?

Ich bin Crative Cloud Mitglied und habe die gesamte Adobe Software auf meinem ´64bit-Computer installiert. Ich möchte jetzt nur die automatisch mit installierten 32-bit-Versionen z.B. von Photoshop löschen.
Reicht es, einfach diese 32bit-Version zu starten und dann zu deaktivieren?

Klar, Frage war falsch gestellt. Natürlich geht es um Deinstallation
nicht Deaktivierung.

Nö mit Ö. Aktivierung hat nix mit Installation zu tun. Du wirst den Kram
nicht los. Es gibt keinen selektiven Uninstall. Wenn, dann müßtest du
alles deinstallieren, das Creative Suite Cleaner Tool drüber bügeln und
AAM eben nur die 64bit Versionen installieren lassen, wo das eben möglich
ist...

verwenden Oracle Text in einer 10g - Umgebung.
Bei folgendem Statement bekommen wir oben genannte - sehr sonderbare Fehlermeldung:

Fehlermeldung:
DRG-50904: Gewichtung 0.1 außerhalb von gültigem Bereich 0.1 bis 10.0
Das Statement-Fragment hinter 'Contains' bauen wir aus einem XML durch einen XSL(T) zusammen. Dieses Problem besteht seit der Umstellung auf UTF-8.
Bin über jeden Hinweis dankbar!

Deaktiviere die Software vor oder beim Deinstallieren, dort sollte im Dailog auch ein Häckchen sein. Lösche auch die Voreinstellungen und Preferences.
Eigentlich sollte das keine Frage sein. Wenn eine bestehende Installation Probleme macht, dann ist das ja kein Mehraufwand.

Veränderung der Bildschirmauflösung nach Update von Adobe Acrobat XI

nach der Erstinstallation von Adobe Acrobat lief alles einwandfrei, die Programm-Oberfläche wurde auf meinem 13 Zoll Notebook-Display mit 1920x1080 in vernünftiger Größe angezeigt. Durch die Installation des ersten Updates wurde die Auflösung der Oberfläche auf ein Riesenformat angepasst. Die Menüfenster passen nicht mehr auf den Bildschirm und nur noch ein Teil der Symbole in den Menü/Symbolleisten wird angezeigt. Die Bildschirmauflösung meines Notebooks (Lenovo Yoga2 mit Win 8.0) wurde nicht verändert. Hat jemand einen Tip wie ich die Oberfläche auf die alte Auflösung zurücksetzen kann?

Thank you for the advice but that doesn’t solve my problem. It doesn’t seem to be an issue with the documents shown in Acrobat, but rather of the application itself.
The application resolution is so big that only half oft he Menu Bars is visible and in the popup-Windows under settings I can’t even see the „ok“ Button.
There are even no slidebars on the window frame so I simply can’t use any popup-window within acrobat.
As said, the problem wasn’t there after the initial installation and came up with the first software update proposed by Acrobat.
Do you have an other proposal regarding my problem?

Schülerversionen von Adobe-Produkten!

Tach zusammen,
Ich mache zur Zeit eine Ausbildung zum Mediengestalter für Digital- und Printmedien, und bin schon im dritten Lehrjahr. Da ich in meinem Ausbildungsbetrieb viel mit ADOBE-Produkten zu tun habe, bin ich mittlerweile ein absoluter Fan dieser Programme geworden! Da ich aber nur Lehrlingsgehalt bekomme, habe ich ca. ein Jahr auf meine Adobe Produkte (InDesign und Photoshop) sparen müssen, da es von Adobe leider KEINE Schüler-Versionen für Berufsschüler gibt. Ein Lehrling der sich für diesen Ausbildungsberuf entscheidet, hat leider fast keine Chancen sich ORIGINALE Programme zu kaufen, um sich daheim an seinem Mac oder PC weiterzubilden, da diese Programme leider um die 2500, DM pro Programm kosten. Diese Preislage übersteigt den finanziellen Horizont eines Lehrlings um ein vielfaches! Darum ist es mir ein großes Anliegen, im Namen aller Mediengestalter-Azubis, Adobe aufzufordern endlich Schüler-Versionen in ihr Verkaufsprogramm aufzunehmen! Durch diese Entscheidung könnte sich Adobe einen komplett neuen Kundenstamm mit jungen, dynamischen Käufern erschließen. Azubis in meinem Gewerbe werden praktisch bei dieser Preislage zu Raubkopien gezwungen, und es müsste eigentlich unser aller Anliegen sein dies zu verhindern!!

Educational Licensing Program um eine Einkaufsprogramm nur f=FCr die
Rechenzentren der Institutionen (Schulen, Universit=E4ten...) nicht aber f=FCr

Problem beim installieren von Adobe AIR

Hallo,
Ich wollte Heute "League of Legends" installieren, dazu ist auch die Installation von Adobe AIR nötig. Als ich während der Installation dazu aufgefordert wurde Adobe AIR zu installieren, hab ich die Installation gestartet, kurz danach kam folgende Fehlermeldung:
"Beim installieren von Adobe Air trat ein Fehler auf. Möglicherweise wurde die Installation durch den Administrator untersagt. Wenden sie sich an den Administrator."
Diese Fehlermeldung kam auch als ich Adobe AIR manuell heruntergeladen und installiert habe.
Ich habe WinXP als Betribssystem.
Ich hoffe jemand kann mir weiter helfen.

Könnte es vielleicht daran liegen das du kein Admin auf dem Rechner bist sondern nur ein User und daher sich die Software nicht installieren lässt?

Error beim staten von Adobe Framemaker!!

seit kurzem habe ich ein Problem beim starten von Adobe Framemaker 9.
Sobald ich es starte kommt der Error:

Sobald man den error wegklickt startet das Programm ganz normal.
hat wer schon Erfahrungen damit gemacht oder weis wie man diesen error Lösen kann ?

Ok, ich habe das Problem gefunden.
Auf dem Pc war Windows XP Pro SP2 installiert. Normalerweise haben wir auf jedem PC bei uns ein Standard Image, welches das Betriebssystem, MS Office und andere Programme, welche hier immer gebraucht werden, beinhaltet. Also habe ich auf diesem PC nicht nach dem Betriebssystem geschaut, da ja auf jedem PC Windows XP Pro SP3 installiert ist. Keine Ahnung warum auf diesem das nicht der Fall war.

Ok, I found the problem.
On the PC Windows XP Pro SP2 was installed. Usually we've got a standard image on all our PCs with the main software like OS, MS Office and other programms. So I didn' look at the OS which is installed on this PC because on every PC is XP Pro SP3. I've got no idea why there was only SP2 on this PC.

Konfigurationsfehler 16 bei Adobe Creative Cloud. Lösung von Adobe Hilfe funktioniert nicht, da der Ordner "Adobe PCD" nicht existiert. Was nun?

ich habe die Adobe Creative Cloud installiert und mir InDesign und Illustrator als Testversion geladen, mit der Absicht diese auch im Abo zu kaufen.
Am Anfang hat alles wunderbar funktioniert, doch als ich den Rechner runter- und später wieder hochgefahren habe, lies sich Adobe Creative Cloud nicht mehr öffnen.
Wenn ich dann auf InDesign oder Illustrator geklickt habe, bekam ich den Konfigurationsfehler 16 mit der Bitte um Deinstallation und Neuinstallation.
Auf den Hilfeseiten von Adobe ist dieser Fehler mit dessen Behebung auch beschrieben. Nachdem ich es nun endlich (hoffe ich) geschafft habe, meine Administratorrechte zu bekommen, wollte ich die Anleitung abarbeiten.
Ich bekomme allerdings die Deaktivierung der Attribute "Schreibgeschützt" im Ordner "SLStore" schon nicht hin, jedes mal wenn ich es bestätige ist es OK, sobald ich aber wieder in die Eigenschaften reingehe, ist das Häkchen wieder da.
Ich wollte dann einfach mal weitermachen bei Schritt 3, doch da ist das nächste Problem: Auf meinem Rechner existiert kein Ordner "Adobe PCD".
Inzwischen bin ich echt ratlos, und hoffe, dass mir hier irgendjemand weiterhelfen kann. Ich benötige diese Programme dringend, und möchte sie gerne auch kaufen, aber wenn ich sie nicht benutzen kann, hat das ja keinen Sinn

In addition to pixel density, you are up against the translation driver card in the TV.
If you read the fine print of computer-resolution-capability in the TV user guide, you will see a chart as tall as the manual page. At the top is the smallest resolution capable, at the bottom is the full use of the 1080p in the TV.
Mac falls into the top 25% of the page, maxing out at 1366x768 often. This is because the TV control card is expected to do too much of the work, but is not designed for computer-monitor processing.
I looked at the resolution charts on 2 TVs before deciding to buy a 1080p LCD monitor that has a TV interface/connector. Computer monitor first, TV second. But the thing is only 27 in. Good thing TV is not as important to me as it is to others.

You would need the original installation disks or files for the Adobe software to get it onto your iMac, and having it on two computers may not be allowed by your university's licensing. Talk to whoever issued the MacBook.
As to the music, just copy it over to the MacBook, either via Home Sharing, file sharing, or an external storage medium (hard drive, USB flash drive, etc.).

Creative Cloud Desktop Installer - Why does it Hate Adobe Software?

It takes some real incompetence to write an installer that can't install if you already have that company's software.
So I own CS6 for Design and Web and Lightroom 4.x and have been pretty happy with it.
But in August there was a deal to try Creative Cloud for $19.99 a month. I bit on the deal and installed it.
But realize.. I don't need all the DEV Tools Nor do I need all the Video tools so $50 a month will be a deal breaking in a year. You need to create sub suites of Creative Cloud that match some of the suites you used to sell or I will abandon the cloud and I suspect like many others CS6 will become the defacto standard for years.
HOWEVER,
I may cancel my CC this month is you don't put some REAL DEVELOPERS on the install software.
It took me 2 hours, BING, GOOGLE, and uninstalling CS6, Adobe reader, Adobe Player etc to get my first Creative Cloud installed.
Today I got the message there was an update to the Creative Cloud desktop. I made the mistake of trying to update.
I now have had the CC desktop uninstalled and the installer again is gives me the fail message with no useful info it did at first install.
So I guess I have spend several hours uninstalling, cleaning, and reinstalling Adobe Software.
What IDIOT writes an installer that fails if the person actually has other software from that company installed.
What IDIOT fails to test a machine with lots of your own software installed to see if it breaks your installer
What IDIOT releases software that demands users uninstall your products every time it needs an update.
This is an Adobe failure but the entire Product Team for the CC Desktop manager application. Time to clean house and bring in the A team to fix this.
Know this.. The Third time I am put in a position to Uninstall, Clean and Reinstall CC.. IT will be Uninstall, Clean Reinstall CS6 and Cancel my CC account and block CC payments to Adobe from my Amex.
This is not new.. I can read for months and months people having this problem. Find the problem Adobe software has with Adobe software and FIX IT.
This is why the Government should have blocked the Macromedia sale. If Adobe had one decent competitor.. this is the kind of thing that would cause people to change.
Lack of competition clearly has made Adobe not care about fixing installer bugs that should he SHOW STOPPER ! CANCEL VACATIONS AND FIX. because hey where else will they go?.
Where will I go, CS6 already paid for and we are done with Adobe and down comes the giant subscription cash cow.. because the installer developers kept us from using the tools you created which are pretty good, if I don't have to keep removing them to update a utility that manages them.

And I got a clue to where Adobe may be having problems. I think they have an old library that has broken code for accessing profiles in Windows.
Ran the cleaner for CS6 & Creative cloud.
it then lists all the CS6 and CC Apps including CC Desktop.. I chose that but got a :
"Was cleaned with errors" message

The error lists c:\Users\Tim~1~DOM\.. rest of path.
Well \Tim~1~DOM is a left over folder from a previous profile... that is actually nearly empty. Yet Adobe's error used it not the correct profile in the Error.
So imagine that certain other calls are also using busted Profile calls. that grab simular profies vs the correct one.. BUSTED INSTALLER!!
after the Cleaner was run for only CC Desktop.. I was then able to download and install the current version from Adobe.
Code that grabs the wrong profile path is going to cause problems....
