SRM 7.0 - Avoid SRM PO creation from SC when the authorization WF ends
Hello,
We need to stop the SRM PO creation when the SC is approved. There is a background client process which creates the PO all nights so we need to stop the process and wait for the client process.
It seems that the event of approve the SC triggers the creation of the PO.
Any idea?

You can set the shopping cart to be sourcing relevant.
Doing this, after approved, it will have flag SOURCE_REL_IND as item level as "X". Then, PO will be created only after sourcer processes the cart manually.
You can set a product category as sourcing relevant in SPRO ... -> SRM Server -> Sourcing.

When you download something from the iCloud, it is a brand new licensed copy. Your iCloud account just contains a notation that you have this app. It isn't storing an actual copy of the app from your Mac.

Preventing MacBook Pro from sleepting when the cover is closed
I'd like to prevent the system from sleeping when the cover is closed, at least when it is on the power supply.
Right now, it sleeps whenever the cover is closed. As a result, my nightly backup (ordinarily scheduled for the wee hours) doesn't run.
Also, I want to use the laptop at home with an external screen, keyboard and mouse, and it would be convenient to fold it up to get it out of the way when doing so.

-W.' Overheating in clamshell mode is rearely an issue if you're running on the 9400M and the system- / resource-demands aren't particularly hectic. It is something one should always just keep an eye on though anyways - just to be safe, no?
' Otherwise - there is a pay-for (shareware) program you can download and install that will give you the facility you're looking for... I'm afraid I can't remember it's name right now though... Alternatively - and the solution I myself use - try downloading and using a mini-app called "InsomniaX" - for which I can't provide a link I'm afraid, but a Net-search will quickly turn up! It's freeware (donations possible but not required) and works great - a number of options available to tune it somewhat to your needs!

How do I stop a query from running when the page is loaded
Hi All,
I'm using JDeveloper 10.1.3.4. I have a JSPX page that is used to collect search parameters and then when a button is clicked uses those values to run a query and then populate a table on the same page. The problem is that when the page is loaded the system attempts to run the query. The query is a method in a session bean. I can keep the method from running the query code by wrapping it in an 'if' statement and checking the parameters for null (or other value). Once the parameters are collected the query is invoked but it looks like the method is running twice, once with the parameters (here I've checked that the result actually has rows in the list) and then again where the parameters are null and the method returns null.
What is the best way to do what I want here? From the buttons action method I am called the session beam method and returning null to stay on the same page. I think that is why the method is running the second time and returning null.

Is there a way we can prevent an applet from being interrupted when the user navigates away or refreshes the page ?
I am getting the below error whenever the user invokes the applet and navigates away or refreshes the frame.
My requirement is the make the applet complete it action before it is destroyed or stopped.
I am not sure if this problem is due to new java life cycle. I tried setting the legacy_lifetime=true and I got the same error or java.io.IOException when legacy_lifecycle=true

Edited by: user10728422 on Feb 26, 2013 1:42 AMAn applet cannot access the client's filesystem. So there's no worry. All the .class files come from the server, unless you're using a ClassLoader to explicitly load from a certain location in clients hd with all the necessary security permissions.

How to stop a cluster constant typedef from resizing when the typedef is changed?
Using LabVIEW 7.1...
I've been using cluster typedefs to make make constants on the block diagram. I usually resize them so they are nearly the size of a few characters. When the typedef is updated the constant expands to full size. Usually I can just resize it again but if the constant is inside a structure things get rather messy. To stop the structures from resizing I've been leaving the constants outside of them. Is there any way to stop the resizing? I've ensured that autosize is set to None for both the typedef and the constant on the block diagram.I found the NI example that makes tst point.
In the "Palette API" (that was developed by an NI Developer and recently posted to the LV Zone) shows how sub-VI's can be used to fix the "auto-explode" diagram issue.

BTW: It also lets you document the data through the documention of the sub-VI.

Anyone know how to keep a child Process from closing when the main Applicaiton is closed
I have a Web based application that needs to use an older version of Java to run it properly . I have been able to sequence this and use a shortcut to call on Iexplorer.exe to open the browser in bubble and have the old version of Java run in the
same bubble. This part is working as needed but the issue I have ran into is when a end user opens up a word document from a link and "check's it out" to modify it and closes the browser it immediately closes the word document along
with it. So the Question I have, Is there a way to keep a child process open when the main Application is closed . Anyone run into anything similar or any documentation on a way to keep the process alive until the end user closes it?Hi There,
I don't believe there is a way to handle this currently within App-V...Other virtualization products do have the ability to exclude processes and force to run outside or the bubble or exclude them from terminating on shutdown.

Accessing Voice Memos from iPhone when the iPhone is Sync'd to another Mac
Don't know if this is possible but...
- Have an iPhone 4 sync'd to my home iMac and iTunes account - all good with lots of music sync'd (~16Gb worth)
- Want to use the Voice Memo functionality for recording work stuff
- Want to download/sync these Voice Memos to my work MacBook Pro that I have already authorised to access my home iTunes store account
When I attempt to sync music (only selecting 'Selected Playlists..." and check Include voice memos) I get a message stating that "all my current music will be replaced with songs from your iTunes library".......of which there are no songs on my Work MacBook Pro. So in effect I would lose all music already on my iPhone.
So it seems that I can only utilise the voice memos functionality (ie: download the voice files to a mac) on my iPhone 4 on the Mac/iTunes it is originally sync'd with. Seems rather counterproductive to me.
Does anyone know a way to do this without having to use third party software?

I need help deleting videos, tv shows, and movies downloaded from itunes. I have followed the instructions to delete from the macbook, I selected the videos I wanted to delete and right clicked to delete. Nothing happens. When I double click on the video it still starts playing. I also followed the instructions to delete the videos from the iphone by swiping from left to right with nothing happening. I opened the videos on the ipad and there is no edit selection like in the instructions on the support page. Can you please tell me how to permanently remove this content so it doesn't try to copy from each device when I want to back up the Iphone and Ipad to my macbook. Thank you.Hi Shawninglewood,

How can I export a finished project from iMovie when the "share" function will not respond?
Hopefully someone might have an answer for me. I am trying to export a finished project to You Tube. However, when trying to choose the file, it does not show up in the finished project list. I have gone back to iMovie to see if I've made a mistake with finalizing it. It seems to be finalized, but I cannot share it to anything (You Tube, Facebook, iTunes). I click on share and it does not respond. I click on File, scroll down to share, it does nothing. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you reslove it?
I experienced the same problem as mreingrover. The Share features of iMovie appear to be completely unimplemented.
I had had MacKeeper installed for a short while on my previous Mac; never on my new MacBook Pro. I could not find any trace of it in Application Support, Launch Daemons, or LaunchAgents, in either my user Library or the root Library. But I figured maybe there was some trace somewhere that had been copied over from the old system, so I deleted iMovie and went to reinstall it from the App Store.
Now the App Store wants $14.95 for an app that has never worked right, and which is (I think) supposed to be free with my new MacBook Pro Retina. -
How do I create a shared library from iPhoto when the file is too large to burn on DVD?
I need to remove some photos (70 GB) to relieve a full hard drive. I have exported and burned .jpg images on DVDs, but that is only useful as a worst case backup. What I would like to have is a separate iPhoto Library for each calendar year of photos, so I could still view them in the albums and folders I have created to organize them. I have done this before in an earlier version of iPhoto, and was able to create 2003 iPhoto Library, 2004 iPhoto Library, etc. I put a copy on DVD (the full year fit on 1 DVD) and another copy on an external drive.
I am having problems doing this with iPhoto '09 (version 8.1.2). The iPhoto library for each year is too large to burn on DVD. When I select certain albums from the year that will fit on DVD and use the Share>Burn commands, it creates a library with Events and Faces, but none of the albums are listed on the left. The albums are important to organize the photos for viewing (birthdays, vacations, holidays, etc.) I didn't always pay attention to labeling Events when I imported photos, so that is not an adequate alternative to my albums.
I was thinking that if I could create a library for the entire year, it might include my albums and folders. I would have space for this on my external hard drive. However, I can find no way to create a library for the entire year and put it on my external drive - the only option is to burn a DVD or export .jpg images.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.Best suggestion: Buy some external USB or Firewire drives. Move your Library to one, back it up to another. A lot more reliable than DVD, a lot less work and much more convenient. For a start, you don't have to break up the library...

Why can't I access my pre order from iTunes when the album has been released?
Pre ordered the new Jay Z album from my iPhone 4S and have been FULLY charged for the album. Each song is showing "purchased" in grey. What's the deal with this? iTunes WILL allow me to purchase the album again, and I'm positive they'll take my money again.
I'm having the same issue. Support claims it's my computer to which I have downloaded 439 songs to already. Oddly enough I still can't download a previous preorder even though I am able to download FREE songs and podcast without issues. I asked them to cancel the order and they stopped contacting me with either a yay or a nay. It's not like they have to refund me or anything as they haven't drafted any monies yet. I guess I will have to chock this up as a loss and no longer purchase through iTunes anymore. Amazon is cheaper most of the time anyway. No back ups needed there. Peace.
