SRM 7.0 EhP 1 central contracts with service lines

Hi,
I have a question concerning the use of SRM 7.0 EhP1 central contracts with service line items. I know that for SRM EhP 1 you would require EhP 5 in ECC. However, since my organisation just went to EhP 4 last weekend I am wondering if there's any option to use services in central contracts without going to EhP 5 in ECC.
Kind regards,
Bastiaan

Hi Laurent,
Yes.
When Central contract was designed in SRM 7.0 with ERP EhP4, it was designed with no service hierarchy. But in SRM 7.01 Central contral was enhanced to handle service hierarchy and it works with ERP EhP5. The problem is when we have SRM 7.01 and ERP EhP4. To handle this complication SRM 7.01 was designed to send flat service lines to EhP4 and lower release even though Central contract in SRM has service hierarchy. So while transfering to ERP EhP4 system in standard, all outlines are not consider for transfer and only service lines (Functional items) are transferred to ERP. To do so user needs to maintain the backend destination information of the connected backend system in table BBP_BACKEND_DEST via SM30 transaction with correct system type (for EhP4 system it will be ERP_4.0 and for EhP5 ERP_5.0). SAP Standard program checks this while XML generation for transfer and if system type is ERP_4.0 system it removes all outlines from temp table before generating the XML data. When it is done, ERP has only service lines in its XML and it does the manupulation to create the replication of central contract.
Master Guide (Including Upgrade Information) - SAP SRM 7.01 states:
"The use of SAP NetWeaver PI is optional but it is required for outbound XML-based messaging or for connecting non-SAP planning or execution systems."
So service hierarchy is possible in SRM 7.01 and ECC 6.04 but only with PI. For other CCM functionalities, SRM 7.01 and ECC 6.04 without PI works fine.

    Hi Experts,
I am using BAPI => BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE to create PR and it is successful to create PR but when I try to create PO is become fail (proably missing entry in ESLH table).
Now my requirement is to create PR with Service Line and an entry in ESLH table (should be filled by SAP automatically). I have been passing the service related/account assigment tables into BAPI but still not working.
Will you please give a solution to create PR with Service Line and also need an entry in ESLH table (its important to my req)?
Also provide some input on Service Line, if possible(How to check Service Line for PR + Account Assignment to Service Line + etc.)?
Note that: If I create PR manually then there have entry in ESLH and hence I can create PO.

  • Issue with service line purchase orders.

    Hi Experts,
We have recently upgraded to following pack levels -
    System                                 Pack level
    ECC 6.0          17, EHP4 Stack 7
    SRM 5.0          17
There is an issue around purchase order change. If an existing PO is edited and a new line is added to the PO it appears fine in SRM system. But on replicating to backend, we see that the newly added line has been duplicated i.e. appears twice thereby reflecting incorrect value.
This is happening for Service line items. Has anyone had similar issue at their end ? I tried to search SAP Notes but found nothing relevant to our issue.
Any pointers / suggestions would be much appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi
Before going to SAP, Check the data being passed to ECC from SRM. Activate the BAPI_PO_CREATE1 for creating data in test directory instead of posting the documnet. then check the data in BAPI Segments, if the data is proper there then there is some problem in ECC 6 ehp 4 which need to be highlighted to SAP, otherwise its a problem in sending the data from SRM to ECC.
OSS Note for creating test data is - Note 539978 - Automatic generation of BAPI test data directory

  • SC with service line tiems

    Hi SRM Gurus.
Can you please guide me how to create a shopping cart with multiple service line items using shop ?
I am trying to create a service item wih multiple sub items but i couldn't find any option using shop transaction....
Please let me know whether it is possible or not?
    Thanks
    Ravi

    Hi,
As per SAP, SRM will not support mulitple service lineitems. But we observed some workaround solution as a standard. hope you might be knowing.
Replicate the service products from R/3 system and create a shopping cart with mulitple services(please not all are planned services) and then it results a service PO in R/3.
    thanks

    Hi,
create a contra in me31k with Agreement type MK here u can mention the default data for items item category, Account Assignment category and plant in this short text , target qty , net price & naterial group press enter.
again u will find service specifications and enter the inputs short text , target qty , uom, Gross price & Material group, G.LA/c and costcenter press enter and save.
create a po in me21n first u can give the inputs vendor, c.code,p.org,pur.group, in item detail give the outline aggrement after press enter, here also u can give the inputs like short text , target qty , uom, Gross price &, G.LA/c and costcenter press enter and save.
create service entry sheet in ml81n, here u can take 80 qty outof 100.
goto me22n in sub line items u can change for 80 qty & save
with remaining 20 qty u can create another po with same inputs.

  • ERP release for Central Contract Management with SRM 7.0 EhP 1

    Hi all,
i would like to have clarification with ERP and SRM release combinations regarding SRM 7.0 EhP1.
Indeed, the "Software Component Matrix for SAP SRM 7.0 EHP1", for Operational Contract Management, tells 'EHP 5 for SAP ERP 6.0 required'.
Moreover, in RKT dealing with SRM EhP1 delta overview, ERP 6.0 with EhP5 is mandatory for an upgrade to SRM7.01.
Nevertheless, i would like to have confirmation regarding this point.
We do not want to use PI to execute the Enterprise Services for CCM. So, we intend to switch BF SRM_WSRM_1 on.
But on the ERP side (EhP5), the only BF dealing with Contract Management is LOG_MM_P2PSE_2 which description is about Service Procurement (and more exactly for item hierarchies).
Does it mean we can use SRM 7.01 with ERP 6.0 EhP4 and without PI but only if we do not use Central Contracts with service hierarchies ?
    Thank you for your help.
    Regards.
    Laurent.

  • Error in Contract distribution with services

    Hi everyone,
We need your help. We are working in an implementation of SRM 7.0 with ECC 6 EhP 4. We are using the new cetral contract.
We have a issue, when we create a central contract with service items and we try to distribute it into ECC we are getting the following message:
"For object SERVICE , number range interval  does not exist"
Do you know what is this objetc? Do you know if we are missing something?
    Thanks,
    Ivá

    Hi Ivan,
Are the services locally created or replicated from backend? It may also be the case, the services are replicated from the backend system say, A and now you are trying to distribute the contract with the service to backend systems A and B. Please, check if the backend system B has the number range (ext) for service defined to accomodate the distributed service.
    Thanks and regards,

  • Distributing Central Contract from SRM to ECC

    Hi,
We are using SRM 7.0 with ECC 6.0 in backend (no EHP). We're setting up a central contract with IDOCs. From what I read we have made the configuration:
    in SRM:
    - Assign attribute CT_PROC_TY = CCTR
    - Connfigure new condition type PB00 which is the same with ECC price for contract
    - activate the BADI BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS and coding it so for contract it will always go to backend (in method CONTRACT_LOGSYS_DETERMINE)
    - I have activated BADI BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE but writing no code, as there no need for me to do mapping
    in ECC:
    - Activate inbound IDOC type BLAORD and COND_A and assign it to the logical system of SRM
Then I create the contract in SRM. but:
    1. When creating contract, in item overview, i cannot tick 'distribution' indicator. Not sure what is the function
    2. In item detail, tab distribution, I cannot put create release-purchasing org. Even when using search help it is not giving any value
Actually dont really understand the usefull of the indicator above, so I let it be empty, then I release the contract
The contract then not appear in ECC. I have checked SMQ1/SMQ2 nothing. Even in WE05 in ECC nothing. The only thing I see is in SLG1 where I see error triggered by user WF-BATCH with message "No recipient found"
Do i miss something in here? Any help will be very appreciated.
    Josh

    Hi Josh,
Central contract is only possible in SRM 7.0 with ECC 6.0 EHP 4. You can use local contracts or GOA.

  • SRM, MDM, ECC integration for central contract management.

    Hi there,
I am questioned by a client with respect to the possibility of the following scenario -
    1. There are several SAP back end systems in place.
    2. SRM 7.0 will be implemented as single sourcing system.
    3. The SAP back end systems carry different material master codes for the same material and this will remain the same and no cleaning effort to have a unique code across all systems is going to be done.
    4. If we use MDM in the mix - will it be possible for the SRM system to act as a central contracting solution and create a central contract with the unique material code in MDM.
    5. On distribution of this contract across to individual SAP back end system the back end should map the MDM code to correct material code in that respective system.
Any insights with respect to if this is possible with some enhancements or not at all possible will be highly appreciated.

  • Product categories Central contracts as SOS in SC

    Hello,
We are implementing SRM 7 Level 9 with extended classic scenario.
We have created central contracts with items with Products categories only.
Those central contracts do not appear when the requester has selected the same product category in the shopping cart item.
We see no IMG activities for this. What can we do?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
I have set up several central contracts, each time with one contract item with one product category. It means we have only ONE criteria.
Contracts never appear in SC SOS tab.
It works well with classic scenario (I can grab all contracts I have in ECC against the product category).
Does ECS require more than one criteria to automatically assign the contract to SC item? Because we want to run ECS here.

  • Central Contract Backend document number is not come back

    Hi, all~
    Pls pay attention this issue.
I saw similiar question but not answered.
    We implemented SRM 7.
After Central Contract create, Contract number is transfered to ECC but didn't back.
In tracking tab, there are no backend number.
And I think this is related with XI.
when i check sxmb_moni, 'PurchasingContractSRMReplicationConfirmation_In' message status is not Grand Prix flag.
(Status is 'Transfer to External Applcation', not 'Process Successfully')
    What is solution?
    Best regards,
    SKY.

    Hi~ sushil...
    Thanks for answer.
    I already check /SAPPO/PPO2.
The error message is 'The attributes of the user are inconsistent or not  defined. See transaction PPOMA_BBP.'.
But there are no inconsistency or undefined attribute.
We checked it through  'PPOMA_BBP' and 'BBP_CHECK_USERS'.
Could you recommand other way to find out exact point(attribute) about error message?
