SRM 7 - How to convert Bidder to Supplier.

Hi,
In SRM 7 I have created a bidder with Create Bidder option within Business Partner.
Now I would like to convert this bidder to Supplier.
Any idea how can I do it?
The supplier list does not list the bidders, and the edit bidder option does not allow to mark it as a supplier in business parter type section.
Please guide.

that option in convr.to in manage business partner.
1.bring the vendor from ECC
2. create a Bidder for Vendor in SRM by web transaction or programs.
however srm server -bid invitation-> activate temporary contact persons or badi fill_dummy_contactperson.

Master data for external business partners (such as bidders and suppliers) can be created based on a registration application from an employee of the business partner company.
Registration applications are forwarded using workflow to the purchaser or system administrator responsible for approval. If approved, the user must create the appropriate master data or user data.
The purchaser or system administrator responsible must be defined in the workflow as the employee responsible.
The organizational plan must have been created and contains an organizational unit to which the employee can assign the external business partner.

Hi Experts,
I'm implementing ROS scenario with SUS.(I'm impleneting this scenario on SRM 7.0 with different clients of SUS) I finished ROS process and sent RFX to this bidder. I wanted to create purchase order reference to rfx for this bidder as winning rfx. When i clicked on "Create PO" button in rfx response, system gives error message "Please maintain a supplier role for the bidder" . Maybe it's a quite easy question but i couldn't find the solution. I've assigned supplier role to contact person's user at EBP side but again same error. I've also converted this bidder to portal provider from manage business partner transaction. But it didn't work. Can you please help?

Conversion process of bidder to supplier in SRM 7.0 through portal?

Hi,
Problem: When the bidder is converted to supplier through the portal (working with SRM 7.0), the details are passed to BW. But, when I try to view the same bidder (i.e., the same business partner as bidder) in the bidder list, it could not be found. The object is being converted and is not leaving any trace. I need access those details of business partner (as bidder). For this, I need to track the process of conversion of a bidder to supplier (to look for enhancements).
please let me know how to debug (web dynpro components) and where to look for exactly to track the critical stages of conversion, if any of you have experienced a similar scenario.

I checked everything and we have only one server for Development but still I am not able to debug, I checked AL08, it is showing same server we donu2019t have different application server for development. I donu2019t have any idea about that How to activate debugger for specific user id, please suggest me.
         Parameter set with value rdisp/tpda_for_ext = 1 . In the BADI i putted one infinite loop and then try to debug from the SM50 through Menu program/session u2013 Program u2013 Debugging but from GUI new debugger session is not opening and some time after process has been deleted from the SM50 and I got error message in the Portal.
         Do I need or missing some setting in Portal . Please suggest me.

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

Convert bidder to vendor in ECS

Hello all,
We are using SRM 5.0 (SRM SERVER 5.5 SP13) in the extended classic scenario.
We create vendors in ECC and replicate them to SRM using the vendor sync program so they have the same business partner number in SRM as the ECC vendor number.
We also have bidder self-registration in SRM which results in local bidders being generated in SRM and employees created for them. The bidder and empployee number range s are obviously different to the vendor number range.
We think we have an integration issue as if a bidder (who is not an ECC vendor) wins a bid the bidder needs to be converted to a vendor in ECC and this vendor is then replicated to SRM.
However, as employees cannot be moved from one org unit in SRM to another (you need to delete and create a new one), how can we effectively transfer the contact person / emoployee from the old bidder record onto the new vendor record? Does anyone have any other ideas as to how this can be done?

How to convert string date to long (or Unix date)?

I'm having difficulty in converting a user supplied date in the format mm/dd/yyyy to a long format such as 1035462807000. Since it's being entered by the user I can't just use the current system date. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I installed ImagBrowser EX so I can view my raw images. It works fine for viewing but I can't find how to convert them to raw images. The manual and help file says to go to Edit > Process RAW Images but when I go to the edit menu, there is no such option. There is only Correct red-eye, auto correct, adjust color and brightness, increase sharpness, crop imae, insert text, edit movies and extract multiple images from movie

How to convert XMLTYPE data into CLOB without using getclobval()

Please tell me how to convert data which is stored in the table in XMLTYPE column to a CLOB.
When i use getClobVal(), i get an error. So please tell me some other option except getClobVal()

Hi all, I am new in java card development.
This is my environment setting:

I have created the Wallet applet according to 'Zhiqun Chen" text book and named it WalletApp.java.
I have compiled this file to a class file.
This is where is I saved my file
C:\JavaCard\java_card_kit-2_2\samples\src\com\sun\javacard\samples\WalletApp\WalletApp.java.
But I don't really understand how to convert the class file.
May I know what is this for?

My external unique id is too long, more then 30 characters.

You should find another extranal system id in order to mantain uniqueness, but you could also use the name field (that supports 50 characters), but it deppends of which entity you are using.
Which is the entity? and...if the only way to insert data is by web services the you could use more than one field to verify uniqueness since you can query more than one field at the time.

How to convert Web app into a channel?

To whom it may concern,
Does anyone know how to convert a Web app into a channel inside the Portal server 6.0?
I developed the web app and tried to create a provider and a channel for it, but the Portal server did not recognize the WEB-INF folder and give me errors saying that it couldn't locate the class files.
I also have a problem with URL inside my jsp page (channel).
For example, I have two jsp pages:
/etc/opt/SUNWps/desktop/default/MyCustomProvider/test1.jsp
/etc/opt/SUNWps/desktop/default/MyCustomProvider/test2.jsp
and when I try to put a link from test1.jsp to test2.jsp using
... and make a channel based on test1.jsp. The channel will display the link as "http://mydomain/portal/test2.jsp" and result in "Error: page not found". I want the link to point to
/etc/opt/SUNWps/desktop/default/MyCustomProvider/test2.jsp
To summarize my questions,
1) Where should the web app be located in the Portal server?
2) How to make a link inside one jsp page (channel) to point to another page inside the same folder?

The portal server keeps reporting "Server Error..." when I tried to add query at the end of the href.
