  • SRM 0BBP_TD_SC_1 customer fields empty after enhancement

    Hi experts,
we are working with SAP SRM 7.0, BI 7.0
We need to populate several customer fields defined in the table BBP_PDISC, into the 0BBP_TD_SC_1 datasource.
We have created an append structure that contains the required fields. The fields are not hidden in the datasource. Although some records with data exist in our system, the fields are empty when executing the datasource in RSA3 transaction.
How can I check why they are not being populated? Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    I

I do not see the table you mentioned in the datasource details link below, which means the datasource do not extract any fields from BBP_PDISC. You would need to write code in CMOD to fill the field, eventhough it is a std field. If the field is available in any of the tables on which the extractor is built, then we can add new fields from those tables and extract data with out writing code in CMOD.

May be the fields added in other cases (PO & contracts ) you mentioned might be from tables on which those datasources are built.

  • Adding a custom field in standard search criteria in SAP SRM SLM

    Hi Friends,
Currently we are using SAP SRM with SLM system .
In SLM system we have a functionality to replicate the supplier to other system ( like ECC SUS etc).
As per the requirement we have done some enhancement and now we need to enhance the standard search functionality by
adding our custom filed to one of the search parameter field
    Kindly refer the screen shot
Click on Supplier Lifecycle Management -> Distribute Supplier
Kindly suggest the steps to implement this change.

  • Transfer customer fields from EBP to R/3

    Hey,
we have a SRM-system with a R/3 backend and added some customer fields to the accounting or purchase orders. The question now is how to transfer the cuf-data from SRM to R/3.
There are the function-modules like B470_PO_CREATE of package BBP_BD which are dealing with the data and include the cuf-data. For my understanding i should write my own driver by copying such a function-module and call the remote BAPI (also a copy of the SAP-functionmodule BAPI_PO_CREATE) that has the cuf-data as import (original SAP doesnt have that) and save them according to that.
The question now is how can i make SRM using the new functionmodule and what is the best practice for that problem.
    thanks for your help.
    best regards,
    oliver

    Hi,
In classic scenario, use BADI BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK.
In extended classic scenario or direct procurement, use BADI BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI.
Depending on your SRM version, Use either of the BADIs in SRM
    BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW
    BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK
    BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI

I want to add one new customer field for the PO (ITEM)  to the existing 10 Item
I did everything as written in the pdf document
    1) correct structures
    INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_PO,
    INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF
    INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC.
    2) configured in spro "Define Customer Fields on Item Level" and
Configure Control for Fields on Item Level
but my changes(new feld ) do not appear on the screen wEB DYNPRO, only in the table BBP_PDISC.
questions : may have a restriction on the number of customer fields in web dynpro?

  • Custom Fields from SRM 7.0 to R/3 4.7

    Hi,
I have some custom field which need to be passed from the SRM confimation to R/3 - GR, I learnt that Idoc MBGMCR01 is triggered to create the GR in R/3.
    1. Wether I have to create a new IDOC type and assign in the message type? Please let me know in which BADI i can populate the value for the custom Fields
Edited by: prabhu jayaraman on Oct 5, 2009 3:38 AM

    Hello Prabhu,
You need not create a new idoc. You can extend the existing Idoc using extensions.
However in the related FM BBP_ALE_GOODSMVT_CREATE which triggers the Idoc , i do not see any BADI being called.

  • SRM 7 - How to make a custom field dynamically retrieved trigger a refresh?

    Hi all,
we're working on a brand new installation of SRM 7.
For contracts and purchase order, we created an enhancement on the webdynpro that manages header document data; in such view, custom fields are obtained dynamically and populate a Transparent container; by code, some tray group visually all the custom fields related to a specific section.
Now, the task is quite general; some of these "dynamically retrieved" fields should refresh, when populated, the view.
That is to say, in our context, that some custom field should automatically trigger the WDDOMODIFYVIEW method (which has been extended via overriding with an enhancement) when a value is inserted.
This would be a simple task if the field is explictly visible in the layout screen, since I could easily associate an event to the field itself.
But, since these custom field are automatically extracted in the WDDOMODIFYVIEW method, we don't know how to manage these field's behavior, e.g. after an input value has been inserted.
Each dynamic custom field is a type ref to cl_wd_uielement; we wonder if we have a way to associate an event (e.g., onEnter) to such an element.
Thanks in advance for any suggestion or help you will give us
EDIT: I guess this could not be the best section for such a kind of question ... I'd gently ask moderators eventually to move the thread to the Webdynpro section, if necessary. Thanks in advance.

  • Reservations creation with customer fields in ECC from SRM does not work?

    Hi,
I have to create reservations into backend system (ECC) from shopping cart creation in SRM 7.0.
Reservation items contiain two customer fields.
RESB is extended by adding an append structure that contains an include with the data structure of the two customer-specific fields.
When reservation is created by BAPI_RESERVATION_CREATE1 function in ECC customer fields are filled.
In SRM I use FILL_RS_INTERFACE1 method of BADI BBP_CREATE_BE_RS_NEW.
When a shopping cart is created in SRM and then approved a reservation is created in ECC but customer fields are empty.
    Why?
    Thank you for your collaboration.

Note 1034662 - BBP_VENDOR_SYNC: Invoicing Party not getting changed
in classic there may not be any issue since while creating a PO partner function automatically determined correctly int he ECC purchase order .
In SRM , we might pulled only VN vendors.
this could be one of the grey area in SRM Extended classic mode.
check with SAP and update SAP comments / suggection here.
Are PI  (invoice party) and VN ( real supplier) vendor number ranges same?
Are many vendor VN and PI  different?
Note 1022311 - SRM Integration: Partner at purchase order item level
In Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), you can maintain partners at item level. During the replication into the ECC back end, this partner information is no longer available because there are no partners for the document item in the ECC back end.

  • Addition of custom field in shopping cart at item level- SRM 7.0

    Hi All
Can someone pls. let me know the step by step procedure for adding a custom field in the shopping cart at item level?
How is the field displayed in the portal screen and the settings for the same??
Also is this field available for manipulation through Business add-ins like other standard fields.
For e.g. I need to use the BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER to populate this new field.
Will it be available there once created?
    Thanks
    Kedar

    Hi Kedar
      Here are the steps....
    1. Create a Custom field in SRM and append it to SC table structures in SRM
    2. Add this field to the Custom field config for meta data at Item level in IMG>SRM Server> Cross application basic settings> Extensionsand and field control> Configure field control --> Configure control of fields at item level
    3. THen find the respective web dynpro application and component for the shopping cart portal UI screen where you want the field to appear. You can do this by right click on the screen area and then select More Field Help
    4. Go to SE 80 and enhance the respective webdynpro view by adding the custom field to the Context of the VIew and then adding it to the layout of the view at respective location. After doing this create a binding between the layout field and the context.....
