Hello Muthu,
At this point in time SRM 7.0 needs XI/PI for CCTR capability, this is promised to change with the release of EHP1 (due june 2010).
My list of additional features, not neccesarily advantages but might be usefull to you:
Userside:
- Webfront no more ITS based: Webdynpro's + Enterprise Portal (look & feel = R/3) (advantages: SSO / central user mgt)
- configurable queries
- Universal Work List (UWL)
- Sourcing transaction / soco ()
User mgt:
- SRM User mgt = Portal user mgt (portal user + application user)
Workflow:
- Process Controlled WF / Application Controlled WF (New: Process Controlled, model custom rules / WF's more easily)
Central Contract Management
- Central Contract - Transaction type CCTR (New: big advantage!), SRM Contract - PCTR, Global Outline Agreement - GCTR
- Create contract templates
- legal contract authoring part
Plan Driven procurement:
- Plan Driven Procurement and ERP EHp4 needs XML/PI for data exchange (rfc's currently not supported: SRM 7.0 EHP1)
- ERP EHP4 uses CPPR (Collective Processing of Purchase Requisitions), optional portal feature
Shoppincart:
- SC ability to create combined SC's (limit + free text + catalog + service)
- Team purchasing
Service Procurement:
- ERP EHP4 and SRM 7.0: sourcing of erp service req. including hierarchies and follow-on docs ("enhanced service procurement")
Auctioning:
dutch auction functionality (SRM/LAC seems to have inherited this functionality from E-Sourcing)
Industry Solution:
- Procurement for Public Sector (PPS)
- Document Builder, smart numbering
Kind regards,
Tim

Could you please let us know the system setup you are working with i.e SRM &  backend system.
You may explore Pgm: BBP_VENDOR_GET_DATA for further details as this a std. SAP program used to upload vendors from backend to SRM.

  • COMPLETED replaced by REJECTED in SRM 700 onwards?

    Hi All
Note 1494044 - No Obj. ID within the alert after SOCO items where rejected
From the list of shopping carts - appearing in the sourcing cockpit - a purchaser can select one or more shopping cart item(s) and press REJECT ITEMS button. Then a confirmation is asked and if the purchaser selects "yes" then that shopping cart item is removed from the shopping cart list that can be sourced. Afterward there should be send a notification to the requestor of the Shopping card informing him about this rejection.
The requestor is getting a notification but without any informations about the regarding Object.
    Muthu

Yes. The "Complete" function in sourcing cockpit is replaced by (renamed to) "Reject" in SRM 7.0. The effect is the same as before, i.e. source_rel_ind is set to "Y" (completed) after an item is rejected and can no longer be sourced.

  • Vendor Evaluation in SRM using Vendor List

    Hi Friends,
When we submit an evaluation questionnaire in vendor list, the system will automatically assign a evaluation title. Is there a way to provide an option to asign a user defined questionnaire title?
    Requirement:
User needs to evaluate a vendor on monthly basis. It means total 12 evaluations in a year. However, the user may submit all 12 evaluations for this vendor in one day. To differentiate between these evaluations I need to provide some option to capture the month in each questionnaire title.
The same scenario applies for Quarterly (4 evaluations in a year) and Yearly evaluations (one evaluation per year).
Pls suggest some solution or a workaround. Your help will be highly appreciated.

  • SRM Vendor Evaluation - Vendor List survey not launching

    Claudia Michaels -
I too have a similar problem.  Your advice to other user was helpful.  In similar situation.  SRM5.0.  I have a Questionnaire defined using IMG activity (WebSurvey Cockpit).  When I execute the Evaluate Vendor from the SRM Process Vendor List - I get "Page cannot be displayed".
    1.  I checked the table TUWS_SURVEY - and the Survey exists.
    2.  I ran the GET xlst name and it found it - XSLT Program Name: UXSGAB49CFCDA641774DB513A35B
    3.  You mentioned checking to see if BBP_VE_SERVICE and/or UWS_FORM_SERVICE were active.  How do I check this?
    Teresa Berenyi

I fgured this out for myself.  To check if BBP_VE_SERVICE and/or UWS_FORM_SERVICE are active - use T-Code SICF.

  • SRM Vendor List - Sourcing

We are trying to use vendor lists for sourcing our shopping carts.  We are using classic scenario.  We have setup the "source list" as it is called in R/3 and expected to be able to source the shopping cart with this list as it should show up as the SRM vendor list.
Does anyone have any information on how the vendor lists should be configured and how they should work in SRM?  We are on SRM 4.0
    Regards,
    -Paul

    Hi Paul,
what do you mean by " We have setup the "source list" as it is called in R/3 and expected to be able to source the shopping cart with this list as it should show up as the SRM vendor list."?
The vendor list is an independed element within SRM and not 100% comparable to the source list in R/3. For Sourcing in SRM the vendor list need to be defined and set up within SRM manually. The important elements are the Product Group (Material Group) and the Product (Material). When there are defined vendor lists in SRM, they are taken under consideration in the Sourcing Cockpit, when "Propose Source of Supply" is selected. The system checks the available Source of Supplys and will also consider existing vendor lists.
    Cheers,
    Claudia

  • I have  a newer version of flash player installed then what is listed as the most recent version??

    Hello,
I am checking the version i have installed of flash player via the adobe version check option at the site and i have version 11.8.800.94 and when i check the list of the latest versions of Adobe, i see 11.7.700.169 listed as being the latest vversion. How can i have a version installed that's above that? I haven't installed a beta version, never signed up for beta testing and all i did was install the latest version of flash player via the website.
I am wondering what this is cause recently when viewing videos on youtube, my videos tend to hang up or end halfway through and think the video ended when it's not. My guess now is that i have sumhow obtained a version of flash player that's not correct and thus why the videos go haywire now. Re-installing flash player sets it back to the 11.8 version again, so that didn't work.
Any information any1 might have that can solve this is much appreciated.

11.8.800.94 is the latest version for Windows and Mac. 11.8.800.115 is the latest beta version. http://helpx.adobe.com/en/flash-player/release-note/fp_118_air_38_release_notes.html

  • Can we post Confirmations in SRM for all Backend PO's?

    Hello Friends,
I have a query on Confirmations. Can we use SRM system to post GR's for all backend PO's..Which means my PurReq and PO's ,both are created in ECC only. I am not using SRM for cart creation...but i want to do Confirmations for these Backend PO's in SRM system..Is this possible? If yes, what are the limitaitons.
Appreciate if anyone can throw some light on this..
    Thanks in Advance.
    Krish

    Hi folks,
I would strongly say "YES" because i have tested that scenario in my system and it works.
My point is (Irrespective of technical scenario) GR/SE is based on IDoc's and BAPI's. so irrespective of whether you create shopping carts or requirements you can still post confirmation as long as you know the PO's that were created in ECC.
In Krishna's business scenario, he wish (though SAP SRM won't list the PO which are created in R/3) to have the PO displayed for the requester and requester would select the PO to do confirmation which would defenitely require some development interface to ECC. but posting of GR is SAP SRM standard and for that i don't think you need a "PRIOR" SRM documents.
FYI... Login as purchaser, use "Confirm Goods/Service Centrally" to create GR's.
Though it is contradictory to other friend i would say "YES" since i saw it in my landscape. i have also provided solution for someother client(Classical scenario) who wish to supress the ECC PO's in SRM. for that i have applied seperate solution for it.
it is something like a "Royal flush" on my hand hence i am betting on it.
Krishna, Once you start the implementation you will see the standard solution working for you.
    Cheers, Renga

  • No requisition found; verify your entries in SRM 7.0

    HI Udo,
i am using SRM 700 on level 005. I want to use a RFx-Szenario, for that i create a Purchase Requisition in ECC via ME51N, then i release it via ME54N. After that it will be send via ERPSourcingReuest Webservice, over XI to the SRM System. In the SRM System the XML Message is processed and has the status "Transfer to external status" with a green bolt icon. I don't see an error Message in tcode /SAPPO/PPO2 So this looks fine to me?
So I go into the SRM Portal Website, Purchasing --> Sourcing --> Carry Out Sourcing... there i enter my Purchase Requisition Number, which i have in the ECC into the Field "External Requirement", then i press "Search" and get the Warning Message
"No requisition found; verify your entries". No Purchase Requisitions are displayed - it is also nothing disblayed when i enter * or leaving everything blank.
What am i doing wrong, what is missing? Where can i see maybe further errors, if there is no message in /SAPPO/PPO2? In which tables should the data be written out of the XML Message?
Thank you in Advance for your help
    Best Regards
    Udo

    Hi all,
the problem was that the relation between plant and product was somehow mixed up. We created it new and now we can process the mesasges.
But i have one more questions, which Monitoring Transactions i have for SRM (Abap/Portal)? When I was in Debug Mode i saw error Messages like:
    A     /SAPSRM/CH_SOA_MSG     84     Purchasing group for follow-on document missing
    A     BBP_PD     245     Purchasing group for follow-on document missing
    A     BBP_PD     246     Purchasing organization for follow-on document missing
A     BBP_PD     249     Document type for determined backend system missing
E     BBP_PC     13     No default value is defined
    E     BBP_PC     22     No tax data maintained
    E     BBP_PD     276     Back-end data could not be read
E     BBP_PD     358     Select a location that is assigned to the plant chosen
E     BBP_TAX     1     Tax code could not be determined
E     BBP_TAX     13     Not possible to calculate tax
But i only saw that in the monitoring? These Errors can happy every time and i need to see them.... can you please tell me, where i can have a look?

  • SRM 7.0 Central Contract- Distribution to backend failure

    Hello experts,
We are implementing SRM 7.0 Central contracts scenario with PI.
The Contracts get created and Released but the problem is that the Distribution to backend fails. The Status in BBP_PD shows 'Distribution Incorrect' and the RZ20 gives an error 'Backend data cannot be read'.
We checked all the configuration settings (including the PI settings) and everything seems to be in order.
Would appreciate if someone could throw some light on the potential cause of the problem.
    Thanks
    Raman.

Message must have created . check all SRM outbound transactions .but PI could not catch them.
Note 1284369 - User attributes check in Contract distribution via services - what is your SP level in SRM 700.
The sap stratergy in earlier version
table in ECC BBPD_CTR_IDOCREF with message 019-This will result in setting the GOA status to 'Distribution Incorrect'.
so SAP might have tried the same way in CCTR as well, Once message are created and this message number like IDOC number updated in ECC table for the further refrence .so like wise SRM trying to communicate the same to ECC but it would have failed.
do you remeber when GOA idoc fails this table we will have reference number and reprocessing idoc.
like any reference of your input must register in one ECC table but there may have this table or some other reference table.

  • Price Masking in SRM 7.0

    Hi Masa/Muthu/Viru
We have upgraded from SRM 3.0 to SRM 7.0
our client requirement is to do price masking for external contractors only.
External contract will create shopping cart,do the confirmation .
I  have to do price masking for the external contractors in Shopping cart,Confirmation,Purchase order and invoice.
I can copy the standard feeder SAPSRM_FEEDER_SC and copy to ZSAPSRM_FEEDER_SC and make the price invisible.
similarly for P.O ,Confirmation and invoice. Is this correct.
(or) any other customization is there
Where we can attach this feeder to the external contractor only.
Internal employees should see the prices in all areas
    Please give your inputs
    Regards
    G.Ganesh Kumar

    Hi Ganesh
this is the new feature facility in SRM 700.
requester indeed does not know the contract price while creating shopping cart in older version. but since SRM 700 onwards the requester can see the material contract price while assigning the source of supply.
but now your requirement is not to show/ shows  the contracts price to REQUESTER .
i think by technical resource help you can hide the price the REQUESTER for all contract material price and you can do some validation your internal contract or EXTERNAL Contract.
However while creating shopping the price is still shows material price and upon development you can do some little enhacement to copy the price from assigned contract so that approver really understand the true value of total cart.
SAP rule is that when you refer the particular contract in the request. This contract price will be copied into the purchase order creation time only TILL SRM 550 BUT SRM 700 onwards
Note 1428563 - Contract price is not taken over in SC when there is one SOS
When there is one Source of supply in Shopping cart, it gets assigned automatically. But when the user enters product details along with manual price in Item overview and click on check, even though SOS is automatically assigned, manual price is considered as item price instead of SOS price.

  • SUS PO response in status 'out of date' SRM 7.0

    hello,
after creation of PO response by vendor on SUS it always goes into status 'out of date'
and the message occurs when buyer wants to confirm this PO response - "PO XXXXXXX  has change version, hence POR changes cannot be copied to PO".
however there was no change version created for this PO, nor vendor did any changes to values in PO response.
Could you please advice what could be the reason?

Can you post resolution. We are no SRM 700 MM-SUS and facing issue in genrating XML for POR from SUS
