SRM Local Contract Dumps when same material exists in multiple backend systems

Hi All,
We have a scenario of two backend systems connected to SRM system.
Materials are created with the same number in both the ECC systems and replicated to SRM system .
Materials are updated in COMM_PRODUCT in SRM with the respective logical system.
But when we creating a local contract by adding the same material system is throwing a dump .
system is not able to recognize the logical system for the material and material group linked.
Please let me us know if you have faced any such issue

SRM Local Contracts - Price Conditions

Hi,
We are trying to extract the price conditions from the SRM Local Contract line items, with the Condition Type, Valid From, Valid To, Amount, Price Unit, Unit. This is to allow us to track the changes in contract prices.
If you have any experience of this, or know which SRM tables we need to be extracting from it would be greatly appreciated! We already have the Contract Header and Line information from CRMD_ORDERADM_H, CRMD_ORDERADM_I, BBP_PDHGP and BBP_PDIGP. Where are the conditions stored? And are there any extractors planned for this in the future? It would be very useful standard content.

Getting dump when you hire an emp in Development system

Hi,
We are getting an ABAP dump when we hires an emp in development system where as the dump is not coming in Quality system. Kindly suggest any config settings need to changed.
Please find the dump below for reference:

     The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_HRPA_INVALID_PARAMETER', was not
      caught in
procedure "RESOLVE_EXCEPTION" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING

     exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
     The reason for the exception is:
     Invalid parameter EXCEPTION, value
The occurrence of the exception is closely related to the occurrence of
     a previous exception "CX_HRPA_INVALID_INFOTYPE", which was raised in the
      program "CL_HRPA_INFOTYPE_FACTORY======CP",
     specifically in line 18 of the (include) program
      "CL_HRPA_INFOTYPE_FACTORY======CM004".
     The cause of the exception was:
Infotype 0529 not permitted

WD Exception when pointing ESS Travel & Expense to multiple backend systems

Hi All,
I have a query regarding ESS Travel Management pointing to multiple backend systems.
ESS MSS is installed on a single portal(Portal1).
ESS MSS is currently pointing to Backend System1. The requirement is that ESS Travel from Portal1 should point to various multiple Backend Systems therefore making ESS Travel region-specific.
Is this possible? and if so what are the pros and cons?
This is what I have attempted:
1. Followed the documentation from "Multiple Back End Support for the Adaptive RFC Model" [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/af/84a34098022a54e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm]
Therefore, I created 2 JCOs namely: SAP_R3_Travel_R1 and SAP_R3_Travel_MetaData_R1 pointing to Backend Sytem 2. SSO and JCO tests successfully.
2. On the iview properties for ESS Travel & Expenses, I added the following to the Application Parameters: sap-wd-arfc-useSys=SAP_R3_Travel:_R1&sap-wd-arfc-useSys=SAP_R3_Travel_MetaData:_R1
3. I additionally created a system in the Portal under System Configuration pointing to Backend System2 and adding the SAP_R3_Travel_R1 as the default System Alias. Do I need to add SAP_ITS_XSS and SAP_WebDynpro_XSS system alias, if so how since it is seeing as redundant because it is added in the system I created for Backend System1.
4. I then tested one of the ESS Travel & Expenses iviews. I have the following error:
Accessing System XYZ is not possible because RFC Metadata was retrieved using System ABC. Please assure you have configured the RFC Connections properly. A Server restart may be necessary!

SUS - Multiple backend systems (MM & SRM)

I am implementing a SUS client linked to both SRM (seperate client) and MM.

All interfaces are working correctly except for SUS PO confirmation --> Backend.
For MM-SUS the PO confirmation message route is:
SUS to PI - PurchaseOrderConfirmation_Out
PI to ERP - ORDRSP.ORDERS02 idoc
For SRM-SUS the PO confirmation message route is:
SUS to PI - PurchaseOrderConfirmation_Out
PI to SRM - PurchaseOrderConfirmation_In
The problem we have is getting PI to send the appropriate message back to the appropriate backend system.
Has anyone implemented this scenario?
If so can you explain how PI deals with this?
Do we need 2 interfaces in place?

thats something to do with PI.
they get source XML from SUS. and in PI after deciding target system they have to decide the target. I dont have that much knowledge on PI but i know that they have a place in the integration builder to pass the condition for a field from XML. according to that they need to decide the target interface..
i think SAP must have provided guidelines for PI to configure for SUS.

SRM Local Contract Mass update

Hello,
We are in SRM 4.0 and working on local SRM Contract.
Now we want to update the validity in these contract, but as there is no way to perform mass change to these contract.
Is there any way we can update the contract validity period at the header level and also at the Item Condition level.

It is not advisable to update contract validity period as per the standard process.
BBP_PD_CTR_UPDATE - You try this FM to update contract but i am afraid since you are trying to update the validity period.

If there is an SAP Note applied in 1368487 and at CALL FUNCTION CATS_CHECK _PTEXDIR FM getting the dump because in source system for this function module Remote Enabled Module option is not checked.
To resolve this correction note 1430042 has to be applied.

Error when opening an existing report from BW system

I have Crystal Reports 2008.
Service Pack 2.
Fix Pack 2.2 (I also tried with fix pack 2.7)
When I try to open a crystal report from a bw system it gives me error message : " An error occured while updating the report's parameter pick list. " ..

Using same Wildcard certificate on multiple SAP systems with same domain name.

Hello All,
Need urgent help.
I have a WILDCARD SSL certificate in pfx format. I also have individual root certificate , primary certificate in text form.
The certificate mentioned above is already active in one of our portal.
We want the same certificate on ECC Production.
What are the steps to import this certificate in STRUST?
I believe no certificate response needs to be imported.
I have a certificate response provided by Verisign. But STRUST says- cannot import certificate response'

This is what i did for installing wildcard certificates:
On the OS of the sap server, log in with the sapadm account.
Open a command prompt:
make a backup of your sec directory in drive:\usr\sap\<SID>DVEBMGS00\ (just to be sure)
cd to drive:\usr\sap\<SID>DVEBMGS00\exe
>sapgenpse.exe import_p12 =p SAPSSLS.PSE location\to\the\certfile.pfx
It will ask you for the pin, and to overwrite the file, answer yes.
Now copy the new SAPSSLS.PSE to a desktop that has sapgui
Login with the sapgui and run transaction strust
Select import from the PSE menu and open the SAPSSLS.PSE
Then again goto PSE menu and select Save As
I saved it twice, once in System PSE and then again in SSL Server
For me SSL is now working without problems on a couple of servers.

You can check internal servers using the certificate utility from digicert https://www.digicert.com/util/
It has the option to specify port numbers, usefull for internal web services.

Hi Dev,
Every syncBo has a RFC destination which represent the target system (backend) on which the bapi wrappers for that particular syncBo resides. This RFC destination is configured in the transaction SM59, which provides you with various secuirty configurations.
For more info consult your basis consultant in this regards.

Report - BBP_CONTRACT_INITIAL_UPLOAD
You can use this report to upload the contracts and scheduling agreements from an ERP system to an SRM system. A contract or a scheduling agreement from the SAP backend system is uploaded to the SRM system as a contract or a global outline agreement (GOA), based on the transaction type customized in the SRM or SAP backend systems.
If you want to upload R/3 contracts to SRM you can run the below mentioned report using SA38 and can upload the contracts in SRM.

However any changes made in the contracts in R/3 after the upload will not get updated in SRM.

If so any insights, documentation, pros-cons that can you all can share?
Does the version of SRM or ECC matter?
SRM version will be 7.0 and ECC 6 EP3.

multiple backend systems for one SRM is normal and works fine.
You just need to connect the systems, replicate the materials/vendors you would like to use and maintain the SRM customizing:
1) Add the further backend system(s):
-> Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Technical Basic Settings -> Define Backend Systems
2) Define the scenario/follow-on document creation for the product categories
-> Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Technical Basic Settings -> Define Backend System for Product Category
3) Define the scenario/follow-on document creation for the product categories
-> Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Define Objects in Backend System (Purch. Reqs, Reservations, Purch. Orders)

5GB is typically not enough space to download a movie. Often, movies take from 3 - 5 GB to begin with. The only option you have is to delete more things from your iPad. You can remove unused Apps, pictures, music, text message (messages with pictures can take up a lot of space), email messages, books, magazines etc.
