What is the process when New employee Join the Organization and how it updates to SRM System?
What is the process when existing employee Leaves the Organization and how it updates to SRM System?

Hi Rameshwar,
The process and approach may differ organization to organization.
However, let me tell you what process we follow -
1.     Whenever the New employee or User joins organization it is automatically updated in the Idm (Identity management system). Hope you are aware of this application.
2.     The User who wants access to SRM as the end user will apply for the specified roles (Portal roles for Portal access & SAP roles for shopping) through Idm. The Idm is connected to the SRM system and whenever there is a addition / change/ update in Idm it will also update the SRM system.
3.     Only for SAP Approver roles we have WORKFLOW setup in Idm.So that the user is created in the SRM system with specified approver roles only after approval is completed in Idm.
For Requester role there is normal workflow.
4. Once it is approved, the user is created in the SRM system and we can check in SU01D
5.     This is User creation centrally. However, if you have admin access you can also directly create in SRM using SU01 transaction.
6.     Once the user is created with specified roles, we need to manually put the user in PPOMA orgnaization strcuture.
7.    Same procedure is followed when the employee is left the organization.
8. Throught IDm we remove all the authorization to SRM. however the user gets deleted in SRM but the Assignment still remains in the PPOMA. Which the consultant has to delete it manually.

Hi You may have a hardware fault take ipad to Apple Store. Ring then first to make an Appointment take box and you purchase paperwork they may give you A replacement. Before you do that Try a Reboot hold down power button & menu button hold both down until you see Apple Logo you may need to hold down for up to 30 Seconds But you may need to do this more than once. If it doesn't work take back to Apple Store. Cheers Brian

Over write the existing master data with new master data.

hi friends,
we have 2 sources for master data text like source A and source B to load the master data text and as per requirement we have to stop load from source A. But if you check the master data target still the old records are existed (from Source A), if i try to delete those records as you know it is not allowing...and more over if we want to delet the mastr data we have delete the transaction data.
In Mycase i don't want to delet the Transaction data and i need to over write the existing master data i.e Request A with Rquest B.
Is there any solution for this issue.

For overwriting the text from source B you have to have transformations from source B to your text datasource of your characteristic. Then you map the text coming from source B to the text for the characteristic.
If it comes form source B the key for that characteristic with text, it will overwrite the text existed for that characteristic to the same key.
For example you have 0employee and have a text datasource in source A which has employee_id and employee_name. In the Bw you have mapped in your transfer rules the employee_id to the employee_id and the employee_name to the employee_name. So for example you have extracted from source A the record:
employee_id   employee_name
0001               xpto
If you have a same datasource of text coming from source B, if you do the same mapping in transfer rules in BW coming from source B, and you bring for example the record:
employee_id   employee_name
0001               zzzz
You'll overwrite the old value of xpto to the new value zzzz

HT201210 tried to do an over the air update from ios 7.0 to ios 7.0.2, my phone is in a Recovery Mode loop, I am unable to restore via ITUNES, in ITUNES I try to click RESTORE, it downloads 1 item and then tries to process and loops......how do I correct

tried to apply the IOS 7.0.2 update to my Iphone 4 running IOS 7 last night, the process failed and the device is in some type of Recovery Mode, when I try to restore using latest version of itunes it appears to download 1 item, then posts a message of 'iphone software update (processing file)' but does not ever appear to complete, please tell me how I can get this corrected, thank you!

a quick update, I turned off all security software on my windows desktop and tried this 'Restore' process via iTunes again and it appears to be processing....what an unbelievable PITA

Flash installer and uninstaller stays in processes and keeps laptop form going to standby

i have a fujitsu lifebook t-series 4020d and any time in i have to install flash player or inunstall it it stays in processes and makes it so it won't go into standby till you go to task manager and end the process. my brother has the same laptop and the same thing happens to his. just seeing if this bug was reported. hopefully this can be fixed because it is kinda anoying with all these updates that seem to happen.

oh sorry it is winxp tablet edition and firefox 3.6.18. this is not a browser issue though it is a flash installer/uninstaller issue. it should never stay in the processes after it is finished i got the installer and uninstaller from this web site and it does updates when the comptuer is restarted. after the update is done it stays in the processes and when you try and put comptuer to sleep, standby, even shutting down and restarting you have to go to task manager and en the flahs installer it used. if you try to standby,sleep,restart,shutdown it don't do it. as soon as you end the flash process it goes to standby,sleep,restart,shutdown if that bmakes sense. it hangs on the installer.

Extending master data for new company

Hello all
We are creating a new company in the same client and will be using this new entity for doing transactions ( Sales & Purchase ) . The Existing entity will be still there and will be used as an affiliate. For this Scenario we want to copy all the existing dat like customer master , vendor master , equipment master, asset master etc etc to the new entity ( Co Cod, sales org, plant ) . As the data volume is huge we are thinking of writing conversion programmes for the same.
Has anyone come across this scenarios , any help regarding these programmes , processes will be great.

How to maintain master data when new depreciation engine is activated?

Dear Experts,
We have 4.7 to be upgraded to ECC6.0 and new depreciation engine will be activated.
For the changes of dep. keys, do we have to create a new master for each asset or is it possible to maintain the current masters by changing depreciation keys in master?

So we are going to use new depreciation engine with changed depreciation keys.

HT1459 I have anew new ipod Nano. I am trying to download itunes. It seems to download and starts the load process and then stops on the final innstall screen.

I have tried the processseveral times. same basic results. a couple of time it says it finished but there was an issue and nothing installed.

This is a Microsoft Windows Issue.
From a MS Support Engineer:

· Is the computer on a domain?
· Is the issue isolated to only this software or you get the same error message with other software’s as well?
Try the steps below and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Run the software setup file as an administrator and check if it helps.
a. Right click on the setup file of the software that you are trying to install.
b. Select “Run as administrator”.
Step 2:
Temporarily disable the antivirus software running on the computer and check if you are able to install the software.

Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. MM and FICO document can not be updated in Production System

starting today we cannot posting any FI and MM document
We can SAP system and run any t-code normally but by the timeuser want to post the document. Document numbers (from running number) are created but when we need to display the document, document is not exist.
I have checked the table, but there is no record created for new created document number.
Example:
We conduct posing clearing for FI doc. From FB03 no data exist and from table BKPF no data exist also,

You should also check if any summarization is active in your system. The path is:
IMG>Financial Accounting>General Ledger Accounting>Business Transactions>Integration.
Here you need to check if summariztion is active for any fileds, like amount , plant, profit center etc for Table BKPF for reference Transactions like MKPF in MM, VBRK in SD.
Also confirm from the Basis Consultant if enought disk space is available for data base. Generally, this kind of error would happen because of the two reasons that I have already listed. Also try searching for a suitable OSS Note. Check also from a system ID with SAP ALL rights. Run SU53 in the Transaction FB03 with the Document Number for which you are getting the error to see if any authoriztion object might be missing. You need to involve your Basis Consultant for this.

Ok, I think here's the solution:
1. Go here: https://supportprofile.apple.com (the site is off for a while but should be back soon)
2. Log in with your old Apple ID.
3. Click edit next to the info about you and your ID (somewhere on the left)
4. The info edition site will open. Here you can change your old Apple ID, what means you can just replace an old e-mail with a new one.

I have a MacBook Pro and a Canon MX452. I updated the operating system on my MacBook to Yosemite 10.

I own a Canon MX452 and a MacBook Pro (2010 model). This week I updated the MacBook operating system to Yosemite 10.10.3. Afterwards I found the printer / scanner functions would not work. I re-loaded the CD from the printer and was also prompted to download more currrent drivers from the Canon website, from which I chose the ICA Driver V4.0.0 and the Canon IJ Network Tool V4.5.0 (not sure if these were the right ones or not).
I managed to only get the printer working when using the USB cable to the printer. I could not get the printer and scanner working wirelessly. The printer blue light shows it is connected to my network ok. I also noted my iPad and iPhone can no longer "see" the printer either.
I have deleted and re-loaded the Canon software several times. I have followed Canon instructions to:
-Connect the MacBook to the router with an ethernet cable and go through the instructions to "connect" the Canon MX452. But afterwards, the MacBook says the Canon MX452 is "off line" and I can only make it work with the USB connection.
Any guidance would me most appreciated to:
-get the printer and scanner working wirelessly
-getting the Air-Print feature working with the iPad and iPhone

Hi John. Thanks for that input. At Step 6, after clicking "Next" I get a window telling me my OS version is unsupported and the installation may not complete. I am prompted to go to Canon's web site to "Check Latest Info".
I've had this window on previous attempts and from Canon's web site I downloaded two drivers as follows
- ICA Driver V4.0.0
- Canon IJ Network Tool V4.5.0
I'm not sure if these are the correct / complete drivers I need for this install or not.
I continue to follow all the steps. At step 9 I click "Wireless Set Up using USB" amd get a License Agreement (a little different than instructions)
I click "Agree" and it goes to a Setup window with two progress bars showing the installation. I've not been prompted to connect the USB?
After the Setup window is done, I am then prompted to connect the printer via USB. I connect the printer and click on "Redetect". It is not detected.
I then try following the Canon on screen instructions for connecting to the wireless LAN amd enter the password. It searches and indicates "Connecting" on the window, but it never connects and the blue light just blinks
So, at this point I am stuck??

Downloaded firefox, put as default but when i try to open i get a window that says "firefox is already running but is not responding. To open new window close the existing firefox process or restart computer" i restarted but still get message.

Similarly if item's GL account is set by item group and the item group is changed after an item is processed on sales order, the change in GL posting is not reflected when invoice is subsequently processed. Please also fix this bug, thanks.

I recently noticed #2 in Amy's posting and was a little surprised that the change was not picked up in existing transactions - ex. when moving a SO to an invoice. SBO is considered a real-time product yet that is not 100% accurate given this scenario.
If a company changes their GLAD from one fiscal year to another and an existing transactions (SO/PO) doesn't get invoiced until the new fiscal year, the new GL setup should be used, not the old.
Amy - you would want to submit something like this under the Product Development forum as it is not a bug.

for both issue nothing to do from SAP MDM side, You need to take help of SAP Technical Consultant(Programmer) which analyst the problem and fix it for e.g. SAP Notes updation for program or assign/change SAP standard program for message type etc.
