SRM Oss Note Application - Activating Changes in Screens

Hello all,
I implemented oss note 1079525 at web dynpro for SRM 7.0 . I made changes at screens and codes according to the sap note.
But when i test my screens from explorer, i cant see the changes that i have done on screen. For example i added a field in selection screen but i cant see it on my SRM page.
I activate screens but do i have to publish it also?
Anyone has ideas or has done this before?

I hope you have done the below part from SAP Note and moved your changes to test client.
Meta data changes to be done in client 100(Customizing client)
Add a new entry in the view(sm30) /SAPSRM/V_MDF_HD with the following entries
Structure Field Name - CO_CODE
Bus. Object Type - BUS2201
Field Visible - X (YES)
Field Enabled - (NO)
Field Required- (NO)
***********Save the changes. Make sure that these changes are available in testing client before testing.

Not letting me change my screen saver

Every time I open up system preferences and click on "Desktop & Screen Saver" and then click on the "Screen Saver" tab... the system pref. freezes and closes unexpectedly
It lets me change my background but whenever i try to change my screen saver it keeps "Quitting unexpectedly"
then it gives me the option to reopen system pref., report the message to apple (which i have done) or close it... then when I click reopen, i click again on desktop and screen saver and it freezes again and another error message opens up and says
the application system preferences quit unexpectedly after it was reopened... and i have a new set of options
Close, Try Again, or Report
So i click try again and it does actually let me access the screen saver tab... and i change it from what it is now which is the iTunes artwork
and when i click close or quit system pref. another window pops up that says...
New settings have been created for this application.. do you wish to use these settings from now on? and so i click "Use New Settings" rather than "Use original settings"
but then when i start my screensaver... it STILL is my original screen saver that i had before...
so WHY won't it let me change it
I have a MacBook Pro 15" glossy, 160 GB 2.4GHZ
i bought it in July so its still brand new so what is the problem?

Create OSS Note for DDIC Change

Hi Gurus,
I am creating note to incorporate certain DDIC changes,when I am specifying correction instruction, the system asks for Corrective measure.
Can any body help me in understanding what Corrective measures are & some documenents/tutorials where I can find steps about creating OSS Notes.

Change Transport Request of a OSS Note

Hi,
We have implemented 10 OSS notes in one of our environements and saved all the notes in a single Transport Request. But we need to change Transport Request for 5 of these notes.
Can anyone suggest the best way to change the transport request of a OSS Note, which should change the transport request of objects that are part of manual corrections as well?

I understand the other 5 notes are required as well, just in a different transport request. Assuming that some are complex fixes touching many objects and might even be dependent on each other, maybe the safest way would be to reverse all 10 as described (in reverse order as they have been applied, last in first out), delete the transport request, then apply them again using the desired transport requests.
Manual steps need special attention, as always.

UPGRADE - OSS NOTE MODIFIED PROGRAMS

Hi all,
we are on verge of upgradtion form 4.6c to ECC 6.00
we have a lot of programs where we have applied oss notes.
Do i need to apply the oss notes in the new version ECC 6.00 too.
How can i know whether SAP has provided the same note modifications in new version i.e ECC 6.00
IN THAT CASE I DON'T HAVE TO APPLY OSS NOTE AGAIN.
Where does SPAU AND SPDD COME IN TO PICTURE

hi Swathi,
A typical SAP version version upgrade has two phases:
1 - technical upgrade (installing the new version of SAP and migrating all the current objects to the new system)
2- adjusting the modifications.
SPAU/SPDD comes in the second phase.
Once we install the new version and migrate all the active objects into the new version, you can see the list of modified objects (including OSS note applications) in SPAU and SPDD.
SPDD contains all the data dictionary objects and SPAU the rest.
You need to drill down from SPAU and do a versin comparison with the active version in the existing system (the system with SAP's older version). If you come across changes with OSS notes,
firstly, you need to check in <b>service.sap.com/notes</b> the releases it supports. If it does not support the latest version, you will need to find a replacement note for this and implement the same. Else, if it is supported in the new release, you need to carry forward the changes in previous version to the new version. For this you need only to right click on the object in SPAU and select "adopt changes".

T410s fingerprint reader not working. Also, display/screen problems

Hi,
I have been using my t410s for about two months now, and initially I used the fingerprint reader to log on or unlock the computer. I started signing on with my password a few weeks ago and have noticed that my fingerprint reader log-on will no longer work.
There is a green light next to the fingerprint reader when it is accessible (log-ins, etc.). When I used to use it, it would pause and then blink green or red if tehre was an error, and then light up green again until I correctly swiped my finger. Now, during log-ons, there is a green light, and when I swipe my finger, the light turns off (does not become green again, AND the screen does not recognize my original swipe) so I am forced to use the password to sign on.
How do I resolve this?
While I'm here...I've noticed in the last few weeks taht my screen would occasionally 'fade' to 'off colors' (like the contrast is tweaked). I remember once, the screen shut down and then came back up with a window stating something abuot the computer resolving its own problem of the videocard(or whatever...I'm not sure what component it was, only that it was display-related). It may help to know taht I use a display application that changes the screen brightness with the time of day (f.lux), which may have something to do with this but I doubt it because none of the screen settings with of this application look like the 'faded', 'off-looking' screen that I'm inquiring about.
Any tips?

I experienced the same strange display problem as you. Since two month I have a T410s (2912-39G) and from time to time the colors of the screen would start changing for no obvious reason and come back to normal after about one minute. When it happens it gives me the impression that the color composition changes gradually, as if one color component is suddenly fading away and the display image gets a weird contrast, but it is hard to describe. I have no influence on the process for example by changing the contrast, and with me it's not linked to any additional screen-software either (e.g. f.lux is not installed).
I'm glad you mentioned the issue, dele44. I didn't dare to bother my dealer with it because it's hard to describe and I have no clue how to provoke it. Anybody else has had the problem or an idea how to solve it....

OSS note 778805 to correct IDOC packed HU wrong weight

Std system behavior does not validate gross weight-net wt-tare (GRBEW-NTGEW-TARAG) received by IDOC.
OSS note 778805 modification changes this, but how? Does it recalc gross wt based on net and tare? Reluctant to implement even in DEV without better understanding.

No GRC vá em SPRO --> SAP GRC Nota Fiscal Electronica --> Configure System Response for Each Tax Number (CNPJ)
Para ligar/desligar o Validador basta clicar no check box na coluna Validation.
Observação: Para correto funcionamento do GRC deve-se sempre utilizar o validador ligado.
Após isto refaça seu teste, é provável que você receba um erro de validação para a NF-e. Veja em GRC Web monitor -> NFe Detailed View -> Validation History.

Mat. Classification CLBW024 : Unable to install OSS Note 535370

Hi all,
    Trying to install the OSS Note 535370 to change the ERROR Message to WARNING Message for CLBW024 and followed the below instructions:
1. Typed transaction SM31
2. Table/view: T100
    Pressed the "Maintain" button
3. Message class: CLBW
   Pressed the "Change" button
   Under Subobjects folder, selected 'Messages' radio button and entered '024' for Number.
Pressed the "Change" button.
Then we got 'Processing Cancelled' message.
   Is any has implemented this note, please ? We have BW 3.5.

SRM 7SC item overview screen -Tax amount is not updated on change of Zfield

Hi ,
We use z function module for tax calculation , which is updated in table BBP_FUNCTION_MAP.
Which works fine for standard fields changed.
Now if we change one of z field ( which is part of tax calculation in z FM ), tax amount is getting correctly calculated in above Z FM ( we can see in debugging), but not updated on SC UI screen.
Same will be updated if we change standard field like price , mat grp etc.
Please let me know , how we can refresh this UI for tax amount in SC.

Oss note 870991 Error while changing selection screen error.

When i try to implement oss note I need to change the selection text of program J_1I_QER_EFILE.
A selection text IND . But when i try to delete or rename it it shows me an error ' Delimitation text IND is an original text and cannot be deleted or renamed'
Please advice.Thanx in advance..
