SRM PO Changes doesnt transfer to R/3 PO

Hi All,
SRM 5.0 ECS
We face an issue sometimes that SRM Po changes doesnt flow in R/3 PO. The bigger issue is we do not see any error in RZ20 nor in BBP_PD.Yes there is a FM at our disposal to push the changes, but just wanted to see the root cause and if anyone has faced a similar case.
Please throw some light on this!!

Hi Krishna,
If you find another one, access the PO through BBP_PD.
Scroll down to bottom of screen where below the workflow you will see a thing called "Check again"
click on this and if you scroll down again after screen refresh you may see errors that didn;t appear on the WEBGui.
Sometimes the DOC_CHECK_BADI can be responsibe for this but either creating or getting rid of errors, you could set BP at beginning of this BADI, then press the Check again button and jump over all the code of the BADI and see if you see any different behaviour.

Error in Replication of SRM PO change to SUS

Hello Everyone,
We are using SRM 5.0 with extended classic scenario.
We create the PO in SRM and then we transfer this PO to SUS. For the first time it is working fine but anytime you make a change to it the change does not transmit to the SUS portal. Usually we make a change in price.
This is not happening with every PO but only PO's with certain type of contract .
So for this issue what should I do?

How to change Content-Transfer-Encoding for mail sending

Hello Experts,
I need to send some documents through mail which i am doing with the help of cl_output_service=>document_output method. Mail is been send succesfully.
But in the payload content which got from Exchange server:
   X-Mailer: SAP Web Application Server 7.10
   Content-Type: text/plain;
    charset="us-ascii"
   Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
Can any one help me, how i can change Content-Transfer-Encoding field to some other format which is not 'quoted-printable'.

Do you documents contain an XML Declaration like this at the top?
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-2"?>
If not, then they need to. The XML 1.0 specification says that if an XML declaration is not present, the processor must default to assume its in UTF-8 encoding.

is it simply a GET_LOCATIONS_ that I need to run once all the new plants have been created in R3 or do i need to create the plants in SRM?
With one Purch org to one co code to one plant how will this effect the workflow start conditions
How will the be differnt to a on Purchasing Org to many co codes to many plants?
Any thing else you think that I might need to do with this change

i m not able to change my transfer rule . i m getting below msg.
InfoObject 0BASE_UOM of communication structure still being used
Message no. RSAR741
Diagnosis
The deletion of the communication structure for InfoSource 8ZPOS_O13 is not possible. InfoObject 0BASE_UOM of the communication structure is still being used. This use must be undone first.
Concretely the communication structure of an InfoSource can only be deleted if there are no update rules for InfoCubes and no transfer structures for source systems for this InfoSource.
System response
Activity was finished without database change.
Procedure
Check the use of your InfoSource 8ZPOS_O13 in the transfer structures. Delete all existing transfer structures of your InfoSource 8ZPOS_O13.
Check the use of your InfoSource 8ZPOS_O13 in update rules for InfoCubes. Delete all existing update rules for your InfoSource 8ZPOS_O13.
Afterwards, you can delete your communication structure for InfoSource 8ZPOS_O13.
where as i have deleted all update rule for the infosource ZPOS_O13 . but still i m not able to change it .
I have check ed it and it not lock in any req . so please let me know how can i proceed .

you may need to check the transfer structures,
right click infosource and 'change', click 'comm.structure'/expand,
click 'transfer', move the 0BASE_UOM from left to right side,
or if you wont use the comm structure anymore, you can right click infosource and 'delete comm structure'

Change data transfer

For change data transfer,i started a journal first ,a session got started . I then inserted a row into the source table,when i executed the model,there was no error and it got executed.But when i viewed the jounal data in the model.....the changes did not get reflected in journal data. What steps do i follow to capture the chaged data.( both added adn deleted).

I really do not think you need to worry about Agent. I have done this many times without any agents.
In the steps I gave, I forgot to add one step. Please disregard if you have already done this.
Right click on the datastore and go to Change data capture and say Add to CDC. WHen you do this you see a clock symbol on the data store.
Now, follow the steps to register subscriber and Start journal. When you see in the OPerator that the session is successful, go to the Designer and refresh Model or Datastore. You will see a green clock symbol which means that the Journal is started. Now, you go and make changes on the datastore you should be able to see the changes in J$ and JV$D.

And it won't by design and intention since you are not syncing your iPhone with your iTunes library on your computer.
If you have authorized the computer with your iTunes account with iTunes, with your iPhone connected - at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
For contacts and calendar events, is Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 available?

SRM PO Changes Error Status - Error in Process (SRM 4.0 and ECC 5.0)

Hi All,
I created PO in SRM from Sourcing (Shopping Cart) and it is replicated to Back End (ECC 5.0). But I did not post GR or Invoice Verication with reference to PO.
When I am trying to change PO in SRM (SRM Webbrowser - Processing PO) like Quantity, I am receiving the PO status as Error in Process.
Please let me know do I need to configure anything for this issue or need to implement OSS Note/BADI.

Hi All,
I want change the mapping of one of my info object in transfer structure.
When I am clicking on the change-display button (pen/spec icon),it's not going into change mode & every thing remains disabled.
I tried with SAPALL authorization from BASIS.....still its the same..
Is there any other way ??

firstly check whether the info object u want to insert is available in ur data source or not.if available then there is no need to insert that info object into the transfer structure.but if not,then u have to first insert the Info object in to the data source,then the info object will itself comes into the transfer structure.

SRM PO not getting transfer to ECC Backend after SP07 upgradation

Dear Gurus
We are in Classic scenario SRM 7.2
Recently we have upgraded SP07 in R/3 system ECC 6.6.
Prior SP 7 upgradation SRM PO created against RFx response were getting transferred to ECC backend in Held status with couple of error messag
(which later user use to do further changes in ECC)
Now post SP7 upgradation, we are finding an error in SXMB_MONI as"Error in Receiver Side ABAP Application
not finding much help in debug thorugh SPROXY
can anyone guide on this issue

Dear Elham,
To find the solution of the problem I think you need to debug.
Follow below steps if this help you
a) Run the report "FBGENDAT"
b) Input the data as below screen shot
c) Then go to se37 execute FM : BAPI_PO_CREATE1
d) You will find the test data directory and test data will be saved as below
e) In this test date change PO number you should get the error which you are getting above.

Aspect Ratio changing on transfer automatically

I have .mp4 files that are supposed to be 640x480 stored on a firewire drive. They show that size in the info window. When I transfer them to my main hard drive they become 320x240 automatically.
If I open a file from the firewire drive it opens at 320x240 and then the GetInfo window for the file stays at 320x240, when it was originally 640x480. This is disaster. Anybody with any thoughts would be much appreciated.
I'm running Leopard 7.5.6 with Quicktime Pro 7.5.5.

The Quicktime Inspector shows Format: 640x480 (millions), Normal 320x240, Current 320x240
There's your problem. Your file was originally encoded to 640x480. Someone at some time or another changed the current display size to 320x240 and then saved the file. This action takes the 320x240 "Current" setting and saved it to the "Normal" setting which determines the initial size of the display when the file opens. Thus, the current settings in the "Inspector" are as you stated above. Since the file was originally encoded at 640x480 and the file still contains all of the original data and is merely "scaling" the display at this time, if you have QT Pro available, you can reset the file to its original display dimensions.
To do this:
1) Open the file in WT Pro.
2) Open the "Properties" window
3) Select the video track in the upper half of the window.
4) Select the "Visual Settings" tab in the lower half of the window
5) Change the "Scaled Size" setting from 320x240 to 640x480
6) Now save/close the file
The next time it opens, it should once again open as a 640x480 movie in the player.

Unable to view the approvers in approval preview at SRM PO change

We are using SRM 5.0,
we are picking approvers from ECC and approvers are picked correctly using BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI and displayed.
Here the problem is , when we change the PO in SRM and check the approval preview before we click order. approval preview is blank and displays as "No approval required". this is not calling the BADI BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI when click on approval preview button.
after PO order the approval preview is displayed correctly.

Restrict list of cost ctrs in SRM PO change transaction

We restrict which cost ctrs users can select when shopping in SRM by maintaining the CNT attribute in PPOMA_BBP. When users then shop they see a drop down list of cost ctrs. When the same user changes a PO in SRM, they do not see a drop-down list of cost ctrs to assign a new PO item to (nor do they see the binoculars to search for a cost ctr). In fact they can simply type any cost ctr - even one that is not in their user attribute in PPOMA_BBP.
Is there any way to restrict the cost ctrs users can assign when adding a new line to a PO?

Hi Harsha,
The P.Os that were marked as Transaction completed in SRM system can no longer be changed.
This means the P.O can not be changed and the same can not be deleted.
This is the standard SAP SRM functionality.
1. Please do not use 'Transaction Completed' option to close the P.Os.Instead you can mark the 'No further Confirmations expected' and 'No further Invocies expected' check boxes under statistics tab of P.O item data. This would remove all the commitments against the purchase order item and would enable any Project closure in case Network or WBS is used as Account assignment for this P.O item.
2. In case the P.O needs to be deleted then use function module BBP_PO_DELETE in backend ECC system to delete SRM (EBP) P.Os in ECC.

Hello Everyone,
We are using Extended Classic scenario. The buyer is trying to ORDER purchase order change so however we are getting a message to HOLD for changes. When I CHECK the PO - no hard errors are returned - only warning messages.

Check if flag is checked for BUS2201.
Can you list the Warning messages you received here? Is anything peculiar in that?
