SRM PO to ECC not desired

Hi,
I am working on a scenario where the client is not desiring the SRM PO created on the  SRM Portal to be replicated (reflected) in ECC. ECC should not contain any SRM POs. Is this possible? If yes, how can this be done?
On the other hand they just want the approved invoices to move to ECC for payments. How can this be handled? Please answer.
Thanks,
Lisa

Hi,
SRM Standalone (local) usage is available. Procurement activities are on SRM side and Financial activities are on ERP side.
There is nice article by Serguei Zabrodski.

  • SRM 7.0 PO not replicated to Backend ECC 6.0 Ehp 4

    Hi SRM Gurus,
    SRM 7.0  SP 8 - ECC 6.04 SAPKH60406 ECS
    RFx Response to PO -
SRM Local PO is created and is in held status.  Purchaser gives the source of supply and Acc Assignment and order it.
PO now is in Ordered status.
Issue: this PO is not replicated to Backend ECC 6.04.
    Did the Debugging as follows:
    1.  BP at B46B_DPO_TRANSFER.
    2.  Got the PO GUID from the BBP_PD transaction.
    3.  FM BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC, execute it and it  stopped in the breakpoint.
    4.  On 'FUNCTION 'BBP_PO_INBOUND' DESTINATION lv_destination',  hit F6.
    5. Checked  lt_bapi_return details.
Here there should be information regarding some error during the PO copy to backend.
With this error message you can check why the PO was not created in backend.
ERRORS from Backend are as follows:
    1.   No instance of object type PurchaseOrder has been created. External reference:   E  BAPI 001
    2.   Document contains no items       E    ID 06   Number 010
    3.   Please enter items first.              W   ID 05                 005
No XML messages in SXMB_moni both in SRM side and ECC side.
What am i doing wrong here?  Any help is highly appreciated.
    with regards,
    Freemind

Purchase order 3000000051: Document contains no items
Purchase order 3000000051: Transfer Failed; Resubmit
Since we are in SRM 7.0 ECC 6.04 Ehp 4,  with PI 7.11 + ROS and no SUS.
doent the system uses ESOA Service for PO replication.
We did CCTR / CPPR scenarios too. Both are sucessful.
Do we need to impl BADI PUR_SE_PO_INTERFACE_OUT_SELECT
But thats for Service hierarchy and Service POs -  We dont have Service hierarchy or SUS in our SLD.
IF PO replication also uses PI, what configuration do i need to do?

  • SRM PO vendor text not copied to PO material text in ECC Po

    Hi all,
We are on SRM 5.0 Extended Classic.
In ECS,is it std functionality that the PO vendor text from SRM PO is copied to PO material text in the ECC PO?If so,Do we need to do any configuration on the SRM side for this transfer?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
In standard the Vendor text in SRM P.O would not get transfered to P.O Material text in ECC.
I am not sure why do you want to transfer vendor text to material text.
You need to use BADI BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI to transfer this text to the required field in P.O.
Please speak to your ABAPer and get the coding done to achieve your requirement.
Let us know in case of any further clarifications.

  • Org Structre in SRM and ECC not in synch

    Hi Friends
System :SRM 7.0 Extended Classic scenario.
Scenario: We never copied our Dev Client fro Production. Recently our Dev ECC system has been copied from Production
But ,because of memory constraints we cannot do the same to SRM system.
Also our Org is replicated from ECC to SRM.
Objective: 1 Need to synch up the Org of ECC (Dev) to SRM(Dev)
Query 1: How do we overwrite the entire org setup of SRM .
Query2 : Can we make use of concept of Plan version here so that we end up doing wrong ,so that we could switch back to
    the earlier version)
(Any inputs on how can we make this possible)
Query 3: Is it possible to transport only the Org structure from either Production (SRM) or Develepoment (ECC).
While doing all this we have a major issue
Issue1: We could figure out that the number ranges setup in our Dev org structure of SRM are totally differnt from ECC Dev.
Ex: Postion number are 65XXXXXX in ECC where as 60XXXXXXX in SRM.
So when we perform PFAL ,it fails .
Any kind of inputs for us to brainstorm on this.
    Regards
    Sarath

    Hi Sarath,
If we are using active version then change the number ranges in OONR against 01$$
Check the IDOC settings for message type HRMD_ABA. it must be transafer IDOC immediately.
Get the all active organization unit (O) from HRP1001 table in SAP and run PFAL in update mode for object (O) and let me know the  result. It will replicate all orgnaization unit and position which fas assigned to above

  • SRM 7 Contract Distribution not possible in PPS - is it true ?

    Hi SRM Gurus,
I gather that the SRM 7.0 Central Contract are not distributed to ECC 6.04 in PPS environment.
( Ours is SRM 7.0 ECC 6.0 Enhp 4 with PI 7.11 on PPS - ECS.)
Correct me if i am wrong.
If so, is there any other way to distribute Central Contract to ECC .  Even it its partial distribution.
Thogh, I hv config for CCTR following the SNote 1268821. To start the problem, the Distribution button on the header of the contract is disabled.  CCTR tran type configured both in SRM and ECC.
    Kindly share your thoughts.

    Hello,
You can try reverting the note 1354971, to get an assign distribution button active at item level.
Interfaces(XML) which are used to transfered the central contract are not extended to all the fields related to PPS functionality. Eg. Guaranteed Minimum.
These fields will not be transfered to backend and other process like release value updation to the backend contract has limitation as PPS funcalities can be used only in extended classic scenario.
So we have a limitation and also this functionality will not be supported in PPS.
Nevertheless, you can enable this funcationality and use with the limitation.
You will have to handle this through custom meta data handle where you need to create dynamic class and method and maitain in the customizing table /SAPSRM/V_MDA_HC. You can enable the Assign distribution button and link in the dynamic class.
You can check the configuration in the standard meta table /SAPSRM/V_MDA_HD for reference.

  • To use SRM Catalog from ECC

    Hi All,
there is a way to use the SRM catalog from ECC system?
Can I buy items from ECC system selecting them from SRM catalog?
    Thanks in advance.
    Antonio.

    Hi Antonio,
If I have understood your question correctly - you are looking out to buy products within ECC system using SRM system
If this is the case, you can do 2 things-
    1. You can replicate all ECC products to SRM and buy them from standard SRM shopping cart functionality; wherein a search functionality would be avaialable to find out a perticular replicated backend product. Regarding maintenance of prices for these products- you can use 'interlinkages' withing SRM. You can maintain separate price of different vendors for a same product using interlinkages.
    2. I am not sure about CCM but if SAP MDM is in your scope along with SRM, then you can replicate all ECC products as standard catalogs items to MDM from ECC. This would require XI as a middileware. Once replicated you can use these catalogs from buying purpose withing SRM
    Hope this helps you.
    Best Regards,
    Amit

  • SRM Sync with ECC

    HI Everyone,
We are using Classic Approach and the SRM is integrated with ECC. Now we have a problem after doing client copy. We have done client copy only for Quality from PRD in ECC and not for SRM PRD to quality. So there is no proper sync between the SRM Quality and ECC quality. Hence the integration is not proper and the documents are not generated in the ECC quality.
Please guide me the procedure of how to sync the ECC with SRM qualtiy.
    Thanks.
    Siva

When system is copied from other systems all Logical systems and RFCs will be pointing to the old system. You need to run T-code BDLS for changing the Logical systems to the current systems. Then delete all master data like Material groups, Materials master, Vendors and then re replicate. This should solve your issue.
    Thanks,

  • Determine linked SRM system in ECC

    Hi All,
I need to be able to determine the linked SRM system from ECC in order to call a function module in SRM to return the URL for SRM to ECC to allow a workitem in ECC to contain a link to SRM.
Table BBPC_RFC_DEST seems to hold a link but I've never seen this table used, does anyone know what this table is used for? The config help says:
Definition of RFC Connections for Resource-Related Billing
    Use
In this IMG activity, you define which connected SRM Systems are relevant for resource-related billing.
Enter the logical system and the RFC destination.
    Requirements
The connected SRM System must be Release 5.0 or higher.
but would populating this table alone activate something else?
Alternatively does anyone else have any other suggestions for retreiving the URL for SRM from ECC other than creating a custom table to hold the information.
    Regards
    Chris

    Hi all,
perhaps I need to clairfy my question.
I know how to find the URL in SRM, my requirement is to be able to work out the URL of the linked SRM system from within ECC.
I have a couple of ideas such as call a function mdoule in SRM to read the user arrtibutes which will give me the URL for system. To do this I need to first determine the RFC destination for the linked SRM system, I think I can do this by populated table BBPC_RFC_DEST in ECC. However I sdon't know if popualtign this table in ECC will have any other implications?
Does anyone know what the implications of populating table BBPC_RFC_DEST in ECC arE?
or does anyone have an alternative soltuion for determining the URL for the linked SRM system from within ECC?
    Regards

  • Copying custom fields from SRM PO to ECC PO standard fields

    Hi All,
There are three custom fields which are added in SRM SC and PO at item level. My requirement is to map these three custom fields to three standard fields in ECC PO. Can any one please explain me, how the replication of SRM PO to ECC PO happens? I could find a function module "B470_PO_CREATE". Can any one tell me through which transaction or program this FM will be triggered.
Any useful answer will be rewarded
    Thanks,
    Deepthi

    Hi Kumar,
Sorry for the late reply. I have the solution for this question.
For copying the custom fields code is to be written in the BADI "BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI", method "BBP_B46B_PO_OUTBOUND". This BADI has both ECC PO fields and all the SRM fields(including the custom fields added in PO and SC) in separate structures.IS_HEADER, IT_ITEM etc has all the SRM PO values. CS_BAPI_POHEADER, CT_BAPI_POITEM etc has ECC PO values.
There are two function modules, BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC and BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC_V2. Execute these function modules with the GUID for PO after PO change or create in SRM system. Once the FM is executed the BADI will be triggered and the additional functionality carried out and PO replication from SRM to ECC happens.
Hope this helps you. Please let me know if you need any more information.
    Thanks,
    Deepthi

Problem - Buyer maitained a PO Header Text and PO item Text in SRM but supplier do not see those text in SUS.
So can someone tell me what configuration I am missing for this problem ?

  • SRM SUS to ECC throgh PI

    Hi Experts,
I need to develop a scenarion from SRM SUS to ECC through PI.My Requirement is From SUS the invoice is encrypted in a PDF format, PI will decrypt  that and pass the data to ECC.(This is the reqirment).
MY concerns are: 1. Which scenario i need to develop in pi.
    2. Is there any configuration settings are required in pi to convert encrypt to decry pt.
    3. PDF to PDF scenario?
Can you please suggest me on this above requirements
    Warm Regards,
    Bala.

    Hi Ranjan,
As of now without Ehp1, vendors are replicated to backend MM systems using a PI scenario "Supply_base_management".
And you are right, from Ehp1 vendor replication will be handled as you mentioned and ECC Ehp4 will support that.

  • Text mapping from SAP SRM confirmation to ECC Servic Entry Sheet

How can we map Item and Header texts from SRM confirmations to ECC Service Entry Sheet appropriate fields.

    Hello Sanjeev,
FIrst, run report /SAPSRM/GET_TEXT_CUST_ERP in SRM. This report copy texts from backend to SRM.
Then use SPRO to map texts between SRM document and R/3 corresponding document:
SAP Implementation Guide > SAP Supplier Relationship Management > SRM Server > Cross-Application Basic Settings > Text Mapping > Text Mapping for Inbound and Outbound Texts
Standard Text ID for ERP lines of service begin with "L". They are linked to customzing object ESLL.
For more details, have a look at R/3 function module MMPUR_GET_TEXT_CUST_DATA.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the quick reply...
    1. In CRM,
SPRO->CRM->Master Data->Installed Base->Replication of Technical Objects from SAP ERP->Define Default Settings for Replication of Equipment
i hv activated Delta Load check box.
    2. No changes are affecting for all equipments.

  • Not desired as an option after Explain

    Hello,
After I explain a query in ST05, I see that the columns 'REORG?' and 'RUNSTATS?' in the table inormation tab is showing as 'Not desired'. Generally I have seen Recommended or Not needed.
Can you please let me know what is the significance of 'Not Desired'  in case of Reorg and Runstats?
    Thanks,
    Surasa

    Hi Surasa,
in some special cases new runstats will lead to a bad access plan. If you are doing your runstats only manually you keep in mind these tables. But most the time you have a kind of automation to do the maintenance. So you have to put the name of the tables into a exception table. In former times you have to use the DB2NORUN, today you have to use the DSNACC.EXCEPT_TBL.
The SAP jobs for runstats and reorg look at this exception table and do the right things.
For some big tables you want do the reorg manually so you can put an entry to the exception table that will prevent the automatic reorg.
In the SAP DBA Guide there is a chapter about runstats / reorg needed. There you can find how to fill the exception table.
In my copy from 05/04/2009 it is at the end of chapter 6.7 "CCMS Monitor Set", another finding in chapter 8.1.3.7 "When to Exclude Tablespaces from RUNSTATS, REORG and COPY"

  • SRM ADDON ON ECC ( Material Replication)

    Hi expert
We had activate the addon of srm on our ECC.
We replicated the categories product with cockpit syncronisation,
we tried to replicate material  using  MDS_ECCMAT_PRODMAT   ---> without result
We tried to replicate material using MDS_PRODMAT_ECCMAT ---> Without result
In the syncronisation scoop, we choose 'ONLY Materialdata' and ' material and relationship data'
This method is correct? or we schould take onother way?
Please any one can help us?
    Best regard

As above people suggest: re-check customising, everything done correctly?
Now to the addition: what you see is correct behaviour, the initial download is started from SRM, so it sends the request from SRM outbound to ECC inbound and then the data from ECC outbound to SRM inbound.
Basically, check all queues in all directions to see if there is a sysfail somewhere.

    Robin
