SRM - Replication of Contracts

Hi,
We are currently working on implementing the ECC and SRM.
As per the business requirement, Contracts were created in SRM and those are replicated into ECC. In SRM, we have not specified the Storage location while creating the contracts, but when the contracts are replicated into ECC, few of the line items in the contract have the Storage location and few of the line items does not have the storage location.
Why is this happening? What is the background based on which the storage location are determined?
Please guide me!!!

First you have replicate the storage location from ECC to SRM

Hello Gurus,
We are implementing SRM 7 with ECS.
We create Invoice from scratch without PO reference. In "Add item" we have a very much interesting option called "Contract item".
Unfortunately this remains desperately gray at the moment.
We only have Product category local contracts in SRM not distributed in R3.
1. Does that option work per the standard with ECS?
2. What would be the required config if yes?
3. if there is no config do we need to activate a Badi for this?

Contract Handling for Invoices
You use this function to create invoices with a direct reference to an SAP ERP contract or SRM central contract. The invoice with the contract reference updates the history of the contract in SAP ERP. A release is then created for the reference central contract in SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM).
To use this function, you must activate the business function SRM, Service Procurement Innovations (SRM_SERVICE_PROC_1).

Does SRM SUS support contract negotiation from supplier point of view?

Dear experts,
could you please share your view on whether SRM sus support contract handling? can a supplier monitor contract fulfillment or potential expiry of a contract from SRM SUS side? can supplier take part in contract re negotiation from SUS side?
As far as I know, SRM 7.01 supports scheduling agreement release in SRM SUS.
Your thoughts will be highly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. Then, can we enable our suppliers to monitor contract from Supplier Portal in the SRM server itself like the way Suppliers can participate in the bidding in the SRM server? Any thoughts or input will be highly appreciated as my client wants to enable suppliers to monitor expiry of the contracts from their side.

HR - SRM Replication CP Error

Hi experts,
We have configured HR - SRM replication but when we process PFAL we get an error from message class 5-, message number 107 (Relationship starting from 01CP00154460 impossible - 01BP3000033105 does not exist/is not active). In every process generally CP is created only once and other CP creations fail but when we process the same IDOC from WE19, at every process, 1 more CP is created and the rest gives the same error. Does anybody have any idea about this error and how to solve this?

SRM 7.0 Contract not replicating to backend system

Hi,
We have created CCTR global outline agreement in SRM 7.0 extended classic scenario. the contract is not replicating into backend. we have maintained necessary message types BLAORD, COND_A in ECC system as inbound parameters for partner type as SRM system.
when i looked rz20, i am seeing the message as "back end data could not be read"
When I executed function module B46B_CTR_TRANSFER I am getting an error, RFC destination could not be found.
please let me know what we are missing.

I guess your SRM70 connected to backend ECC with EHP4 pack applied. If so, Central contract will not use IDocs instead it works on new eSOA technology where Xi/PI need to be set up to process service calls.
If you are not using EHp 4 pack on your ECC, then SRM70 use IDocs to distribute contracts to backend.

we are on SRM 7.0 and ENHPack 4.0 and as you said its picking up the eSOA route to distribute contracts in backend ECC system.
I would like to know how can we this programmatically ( BADI / Enhancement points) and force system to pick the ALE/IDOC route ???

SRM 7 PPS contracts and purchase order on backend?

Hi, our client wants to implement SRM 7.02 with PPS and Plan Driven Procurement. The issue here is that we need from an accepted quotation ( bid response) in srm create follow on document ( as purchase order and contracts) at the backend system (ERP).
I know that PPS works with Extended classic scenario, but I want to know if there´ s a possibility implementing any badi in order to manage the purchase orders or contracts in ERP?

Hello,
The only badi available to switch between scenarios is BBP_EXTLOCALPO_BADI.
However, once you switch to classic scenario, PPS will not be valid anymore.
Since the main difference between classic and extended classic is the local PO creation in SRM (lead PO), I guess this functionality that you are looking for is not supported.

SRM product category contract using MDM retrurns contract with item 0

We are using SRM 5 with MDM catalog 7.1 using Ext classic scenario.
We've created more than 1 SRM contract for the same product category in SRM, eg. 2 contracts both for prod category STATIONERY with 2 different vendors (eg. vendor 1213, contract 44000330 item 1 and vendor 2456 contract 44000999 item 1). In the MDM catalog we reference 1 of these contracts/items, eg vendor 1213, contract 44000330 item 1.
When we select this item from MDM catalog it pulls in the vendor and the contract number, eg vendor 1213, contract 44000330, but the contract item is shown as item 0 (contract 44000330 / 0).
If however, we have only one contract for a product category, eg. TRAINING and we enter this contract/item in MDM, when we select that item from the catalog it copies the vendor and the contract along with the correct contract item number, eg. contract 44000661 / 1.
Any ideas why it is doing this? Cannot find any SAP notes or other postings on SDN with this problem.

The issue is when we have more than one contract for the same product category. Both or only one of those contracts might be assigned to items in the MDM catalog. The catalog has the correct contract, AND the correct item number against the catalog item.eg. contract 123456 / item 1
If there is only one contract then there is no problem and the correct contract AND item number is copied back into the shopping cart, eg. 123456 / 1. Only when there is more than one contract for the product category does MDM pass back contract item 0 eg. 123456 / 0
We're not loading via XI. We're loading from a spreadsheet.
Any more ideas?

SRM 7 - Centralised Contract Management SAP XI inbound/outbound interfaces

Hi there,
We are busy implementing SRM 7 and I would like to get "centralised contract management" working between SRM 7 and the ECC backend/s (via SAP PI).
Could you please let me know what the correct SAP PI CONTENT to load is? And what the correct service interfaces I need to use for this scenario as well as what "software component version" and "namespace" I can find them in?
Any guide on the details of this specific scenario?

SRM 7 - central contract different webdynpro screen

Hello,
I'm on an SRM 7 SP05 system.
When i open a central contract via the strategic purchasing -> contract management -> POWL (click on number) the document is shown in light blue the loading bar and screen colors are different from all the other screens. Is this also happening for your systems? How come?

Hello Jay,
It for us looks and feels like any other document if you create or change a contract document.
But if you open the contract in display mode the contract is displayed in a different scheme and the load/loader looks as if it were SAP CRM instead of SAP SRM.
Did you check opening a contract from POWL in display mode? (happens for all contract transaction types: cctr,pctr etc.)

Net price zero for SRM service central contract in SAP ECC

Hi
Net price in backend ECC is showing as zero for SRM service central contrracts, all other price fieids are fine expect net prices. We have no issues for material contract.
Does any one had similar issue of net price zero? I have tested this scenrio in couple of SRM 7 landscpape all are with similar behaviour. Is it standard?

= ( is_item-price * is_item-quantity ) / is_item-price_unit.
AS total value of the service lines is calculated based on the field NETWR which is passed as blank from SRM, during recalculation total value when we change the gross price of one of the service lines in r/3, it is required to fill this field
till PI values are brought correctly till posting to ECC. ?
Note 1123292 - Net Price wrongly calculated in plug-in MAP_BLAORD_SERVICES

Note:-
2 set stream of DATA comes from SRM as BLOARD and COND_A ..
Even some times when we reprocess failed IDOCS in BD87 in ECC ( comes contract data from SRM as GOA and failed due to some data validation in ECC). now data issue was fixed at Material master level. and
if we forget to reprocess COND_A - BLOARD creates a successfull GOA but net price shows as ZERO for each material and when you post the COND_A data and correct price will be updated in ECC contract. so kindly check price data reaches or not not or price calculation failed in ECC.

SRM 701 - Central Contract via XI, no backend ECC contract created

Hi All,
We are trying to implement the SRM Central Contract Management scenario in SRM701 and ECC 604 using XI/PI and we are finding that the XML message is getting generated OK, passed through XI/PI OK and is successfully processed in ECC, however, no backend contract is created. The SRM number range against the ECC contract document is incrementing every time we send a message but no data is getting committed to the tables. I have seen a few threads on here with others having experienced a similar problem, however, I can't anywhere see what the resolution was.
We are pretty sure all the config is correct as we have tried changing the entry in BBP_BACKEND_DEST for SYS_TYPE to ERP_2.0 and passed the data successfully via RFC and IDOC, but we are not having any success when the SYS_TYPE is ERP_4.0 and using XI.
Please can anyone out there help?!

Change Pointer RBDMIDOC in SRM Replication

Hi Experts ,
We have ECC 6.04 with SRM7.0. We replicated HR Org Structure from ECC to SRM.
Out of 10000 Employee , only 2000 Employee will sue SRM, So I wish to replicate only 1500 Employee as initial upload from ECC by eopy paste from EXCEL in PFAL selection screen. That is okay.
For changes & Delta , I will schedule Chnage Pointer RBDMIDOC in SRM.
1) My doubt is exatly what this Change Pointer will replicate to SRM (with matching to Filter setting ).... out of below ?
1. Changes to already replicated Employees in SRM
2. New created Employees after initial replication
3. Remainning Employees in initial replication as well ( i.e. 13000 )?
Is all these 3 cases will replicate to SRM ?
2) In case of change of one field value, will system send only that Value in IDoC or all the date of Employee again ?

These are the steps for change pointer :
1. BD61 :Activate change pointer generally .
2. BD50 :Activate change pointer for message type.
3. BD21 :Create IDOC type from change pointers.
4.Save the content : create a variant .
5.For automatically process:go to SM36 :Create a job with the program "RBDMIDOC " and the variant you created.

SRM Gurus,
We are in the verge of installing SAP SRM system. Our main focus will be on :
1. SSP
2. Contract Management
3. Catalog Management
Please clarify what are the pros and cons of using SRM as ADD-on or SRM as seperate instrance.
If we can use contract management with SRM addon as a leading contract system without creating them in ECC6.0

The SRM AddOn is targeting on customers that are aiming on a simple procurement scenario, do not yet use mySAP SRM, are using only one Backend (ECC) system and aim to install SRM with a low TCO.
The following scenarios are released within the SRM AddOn:
Service Procurement (local deployment)
Self-Service Procurement (classic deployment)
SUS in connection with both scenarios mentioned above
Catalog Content Management
This also includes:
operational usage of contracts (e.g. for the assignment of sources of supply)
RFP - as far as known from the Temporary Labor scenario
Please be aware that the following deployment and migration constraints apply:
ERP 2005 with SRM as an add-on does not support any multiple-backend functions or hub deployment for procurement
Upgrade or migration from an existing SRM system to ERP 2005 with SRM as an add-on is not supported.
SAP does not offer migration paths from an SRM AddOn deployment to a deployment with a standalone SRM system.
The extended classic deployment is not supported.
The SRM as an add-on is only supported in the release combination ERP 6.0 and SRM 5.0. Other release combinations are not supported. Also future SRM releases will not run as an add-on on ERP 6.0

Navigate to SRM PO or Contract from ECC R/3

Hi all - I want to navigate from webdynpro in ECC R/3 to PO/Contract Object in SRM, I'm doing the same process in SRM and is working fine but in order to get the OBN_SYSTEM in ECC is where i'm having issues.
In SRM I declare a variable
DATA: v_obn_system TYPE /sapsrm/obn_system
*and to find sytem alias I do
CALL METHOD /sapsrm/cl_url_service=>get_srm_system_alias
Receiving
rv_system_alias = v_obn_system
but in ECC we dont have the type available either the CALL METHOD /sapsrm/cl_url_service=>get_srm_system_alias
is there something similar in ECC R/3 to do this requirement?

SRM one client Contract Management

Dear Experts,
Can we create contracts in SRM one client and distribute them to our ECC system.
Because I seached on service marketplace and no where its mentioned that Contract mangement is possible in SRM one client.
Sourcing is possible that I have checked the functionality. Please reply

Yes Correct nothing mentioned in the configuration guide or any other document.
But I checked System nodes no where I found that contract management is possible in SRM one client.
Also Note 963000 doesn't say anything about it.
Below link also says its not possible so I am confused even Roles doesn't have Contract Menu
SRM 7.0 one client setup in comparison to SRM 7... | SCN
