Hi Rajesh,
Second Optional is possible.
In PDP (Plan driven Procurement)
The PR Generated by MRP is transfered from R/3 Backend to the frontend SRM System.
By Executing Report " BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER " using Transaction Code " SA38 " in SAP R/3 to transfer the Purchase Requisition as an External Requirement to SRM Front-end.
Purchaser logs on to the SRM system to carry out the sourcing. By clicking on the ‘Carry out Sourcing Link’ to access Sourcing Cockpit and checks the work items in the  Sourcing Cockpit. Purchaser adds all the requirements that he/she wishes to process into  the Work list.
Here Purchaser can raise RFx.
1-RFI = Request for Inquiry
2-RFQ =Request for Q
3-RFP = Request for Proposal
any one of the above.
Then Bids Processing.
Selecting one Vendor and rejection for remaining.
Once Vendor is confirmed. Purchaser will create a contract or PO.
Please reward points if usefull.

  • Create an interface for SRM , RFQ

    Hi ;
I am trying to develop an interface in XI to post 'Request For Quotation' into SRM system. Can anybody help me on this.. Any kind of help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,

    Hi,
In XI you will seeing the namespace http://sap.com/xi/EBP. In that you will have the interface RequestForQuotationResponse_CreateOrChange_In. Use this interface directly as inbound interface and it will be having the message type and data type.
So you create outbound datatype, message type, messageinterface and do message mapping and interface mapping as your requirement.
So your scenario will be like File - XI - Proxy etc. I dont know how you are getting your source. So Source instead of file it may change depending upon your requirement.

  • Print Preview in RFx does not show new Adobe Interactive Form

    Hello Experts,
I am trying to assign a standard Adobe Interactive form as the output form for SRM RFQ.  I have carried out the following steps in customising under "Define Actions for Document Output".
    - Selected bid invitation Action Profile = BBP_PD_BID
    - Go to "Processing Types"
    - Create a new Processing Type called "External Communication"
    - Set the following values to the new processing type:
         - Form Name = BBP_BID_INV_ADB
         - Form Type = P PDF-Based Forms
         - Format = BBP_BID_INV_ADB_MAI
         - Personalization Type = 5 - Recipeient Variable Replacement
    - Save Changes
My problem is that when I go to into the BID (RFx) and click "Print Preview" it picks up the standard Smartform, not the new Adobe form I have added as required.
Please can you advise of any additional config settings or other steps required to ensure that the Adobe Form is called when I click "Print Preview"?
    We are on SRM 7.0.
    I look forward your response.

    Matt

Hi Matt could you please tell me how do you solve your issue? I have the same and I cant find the solution.

  • Manual PO in ECC

    Hello Folks,
We are in a public sector project where we are using SRM for creating RFQ and Contract because of requirement of Document Builder functionality. We need your suggestion if the below scenario is supported. We want to activated Extended Classic (ECS) scenario.   We are looking for the following process steps-
    1. PR (Material group -Purchase Requisitions) will be created in ECC manually (No MRP).
    2. PR will be transferred to SRM
    3. Source of supply in SRM - RFQ
    4. Create GOA (Global Outline Agreement) in SRM and distribute it to ECC.
    5. Manually create PO in ECC referring above contract in source of supply.
    6. Confirmations and Invoices created in ECC
I am afraid about manually creating PO (Point # 5) in ECC referring contract created in SRM (GOA). Will it be possible to create manual PO in ECC referring ECC contract (SRM GOA which is distributed TO ECC).
    Please tell your opinion .
    Thanks,
    Amit

    Hi Amit,
Your scenario is a valued business scenario, it should work perfectly.
BTW we are also implementing SRM with public sector, let me know if we can share the experiences around document builder in SRM.
you can reach me at [email protected]

  • Send RFQ and PO from SAP R/3 to SRM

    Hi all,
I am new to SRM and need send the RFQ and PO created in SAP R/3 release 4.7 for SRM Server 5.0. I am using a distribution model (ALE) between the systems with the message types REQOTE and ORDERS associated to IDOC types ORDERS02 and ORDERS05 respectively. This scenario not have PI/XI implemented.
My problem is what this IDOC types aren't disponible on SRM and do not know how to receive this IDOCs.
Is there any way standard in SRM to receive these IDOCs? How can resolved this question?
    Thanks,
    Luciano Lessa

    Hi,
    Thank you for replying Masa,
My customer doesn't want the sourcing done in SRM. The SRM will be used by the supplier to update the prices in RFQs and will then be sent to SAP.
As PO, not know what is possible create a confirmation on SRM without a PO. If the PO doesn't exist in the SRM, know how the relationship between PO and Confirmation? You have some material about that question?
    Thanks,
    Luciano

  • Transfer RFQ from R/3 to SRM-EBP

    Hi,
We are using SRM 5.5. I want to transfer RFQ from R/3 to SRM-EBP.
    Please suggest.
    Note: I have some idea.
    1. R/3 - I will create a Z Program
    2. In this program I will get the details of RFQ in R/3.
    3. I will create a RFC Function Module in SRM.
    4. In my R/3 program I will call SRM RFC Function Module.
    5. I will pass all the RFQ details into my SRM RFC Function Module.
    6. Now I have the RFQ details in SRM-EBP in that SRM RFC Function Module.
    7. In this SRM RFC Function Module I need to create a BID based on my R/3 RFQ details
    8. My doubt: what coding is required to create a BID in SRM-EBP.
Because I can't use BDC to create BID in SRM-EBP.
    Regards,
    Natchiappan.M

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply. But How can I pass the guid as a input for that function module.
I tried that function module. If you have some sample code with this function module Please share with me.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • SRM BID over R/3 RFQ

Need to know the advantage of SRM Bid/Auction over R/3 RFQ
a.Can RFQs be converted to electronic format/files?
b.Are RFQs directly convertible to OAs or POs?
c.Can Suppliers be notified of ‘acceptance’ electronically from within SRM?  If so, would this require activation of the Supplier Portal?
d.R3 requires Vendor Codes for all RFQ participants – Does SRM allow RFQs to be sent to Suppliers without having to set up a Vendor Master Record?
e.Non-Material Coded ‘Text’ driven RFQs are particularly cumbersome in R3 – Does SRM offer any enhancements/advantages for these types of RFQs?
    Regards

    Hi JJJ J,
a.Can RFQs be converted to electronic format/files?
    --> yes
b.Are RFQs directly convertible to OAs or POs?

c.Can Suppliers be notified of ‘acceptance’ electronically from within SRM? If so, would this require activation of the Supplier Portal?
    --> Yes / No
d.R3 requires Vendor Codes for all RFQ participants – Does SRM allow RFQs to be sent to Suppliers without having to set up a Vendor Master Record?
--> Yes; they need to have at least a Business Partner Record
e.Non-Material Coded ‘Text’ driven RFQs are particularly cumbersome in R3 – Does SRM offer any enhancements/advantages for these types of RFQs?
--> ?; Text can be entered in SRM as well

  • RFQ transfer in SRM

Can RFQ (Bid Invitation/ Vendor Bid) be transferred from SRM to R/3 ?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
when you have classic scenario the PO is directly created in R/3; in extended a copy of the PO is in R/3. So you have the PO in the Backend in either case.
The information is available in SRM for the RFQ - there is no sense to have double documents. The documents are connected like in the shopping cart, so there is a reference to the PO.
    Cheers,
    Claudia

  • SRM 7.0 - Importing RFQ through excel with hierarchies

    Hello Experts,
I am working with SRM 7.0 Portal, and I have a problem when I import an RFQ through excel with hierarchies for Portal.
I am using the BADI BBP_PD_DOWNLOAD to handle export and import of data from the portal.
To export to excel i use the function module BBP_PDH_FILE_DOWNLOAD_RENDER, and to import i use BBP_PDH_FILE_UPLOAD_PARSER.
The problem is that i export data from portal layout to excel with the defined hierarchies, however when i import the same excel, the data is displayed in the Portal without the hierarchies were defined.
    Has anyone experienced this problem?
    Best regards
    Ricardo Marques

    Hi,
I would import the Excel Data to SRM-MDM Catalog. User can select items from catalog.

  • XI - SRM : info on RFQ

    Hello Guyz!...
I am trying to develop an interface in XI to post 'Request For Quotation' into SRM system. Can anybody help me on this.. Any kind of help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,
Inorder to develop interface, you need to know Source Application details, data format, connection feasibility etc.
Anyway for SRM, SAP has delivered some pre-built XI content with mapping and design. So have a look into this guides to get the more so that, you can minimize custom work.
To check this- go to https://websmp207.sap-ag.de/ibc and search for SRM from Left Menu.

  • Email/print in status "Not processed" when RFQ is published

    Hello,
    We are running SRM 5.0.
We have set up the event schema for BUS2200 (RFQ) to react on events: PUBLISHED, PUBLISHED_AGAIN etc. And assigned the event schema to RFQ's transaction types, eg BID.
However, when an RFQ is published, the email is not sent to vendor (whose default medium is MAI) or printed on vendor's default printer (if the medium is set to PRN). The output log under bidder/bids tab shows something like :
    Status: Not processed
    Medium: Print
When I clicked on the action button "Output pushbutton", the status would be changed to "Successful" and the email would be sent or the print job would be printed then.
I have checked the PPTTRIGG table and all the entries in there are of DISPATCH = 1 or 4. Not 3, which seems to indicate an "immediate processing".
My question is how I would configure the system so that the email/print when the RFQ is published could be processed immediately.
    Thanks.

    Hello Masa,
I realized it as well. I was then a little puzzled why SRM didn't allow "immediate processing" for the "processing time" parameter in the action definition. Do you know if there is a particular reason for that?
    Thanks,

  • RFQ buttons do not open in a new window

    Hello,
We are on SAP SRM 7.0 with EHP1 and have configured bidding process. We are able to create RFQ from the navigation link however the following buttons viz. Create RFQ,Display RFQ ,Edit and Response and Awards on click of it do not open a new window page.
This issue occurs in both IE8 and Firefox browsers
Note: The RFQ creator is assigned with the Strategic purchaser EHP1 role and with the required portal role
Please let us know if there is any additional authorization needs to be given or any portal configuration is missing.
    Regards
    Sachin

    Hello Sachin,
Please get in touch with your portal consultant and ask him to check with the Iview integration. Also do ask him to check with the Event button.
