SRM Supplier Screening

Hi, All
I am implementing supplier registeration (SRM 5.0). I am having a problem with the supplier directory.
I have created a web service for the supplier directory and have maintained the CAT attribute in the organisational structure. This make the transation Manage Business Partners (bbpmainint) show a section called "Business Partner from List AS". This section is used for transfering the approved supplier's data from the supplier directory into the fields of the create business partner.
But for some reason the button(choose) on the section "Business Partner from List AS" does nothing when you click it. It does not even pop up any error messages it just does nothing.

Supplier screening not visible

Hi
We are having SRM 4.0 with SUS installed.
1. In SICF under BSP-->SAP there are 2 services self registration. Ros_self_reg and Srmsus_selfreg.
Which one we should configure for supplier self registration.
We have configured ROS_SELF_REG for supplier self registration. Is this correct? If so what is the significance of SRMSUS_SELFREG.
2. There is no "Supplier Screening" entry in the Menu tab for the role SAP_BBP_STAL_PURCHASER or SAP_EC_BBP_ST_PURCHASER in PFCG. How to get that entry in the role.
Because of this I am not able to see "Supplier Screening" link with purchaser's role in EBP web application and not able to see the suppliers who are registered through self registration page.
Please provide the solution for the above.

1) This is since SRM 4.0, where we replaced Java based SUS WPS with BSP.
One should be for SUS only, and the other one for SRM ???
2) Here is a copy of online help. You must adapt the role with this BSP link:

You have at least one of the following roles:
· Purchasing assistant
· Professional purchaser
· Operational purchaser
· Strategic purchaser
The Preselect Vendors transaction is delivered with the single roles. In order to use the transaction, you must enter the URL for supplier screening in the single role. Then you must update and activate the composite role.
Supplier Screening with ERP
You have logged onto the supplier registration system with the role SAP_EC_SUS_ROS_ PROCESSOR.

Custom screen field in the SRM portal screen for Business Partner Bidder

I need to add a custom screen field in the SRM portal screen for Business Partner. I have added this custom field in the include structure: CI_EEW_BUT000 and activated it.
I was expecting to see the enhanced field available in the SRM portal screen when I create the bidder. But is not available.
The new field are available if I edit an Business partner only.

SRM Supplier Self Registration(ROS)

Hi All,
Does SRM supplier self-registration(SRM-ROS) work well with all email applications?
Meaning does is work well with computer based and web-based email applications?
With computer based email applications, does SRM-ROS only work with outlook, or does it work with others such as Groupwise and lotus notes?
With the web-based ones, is there a solution for yahoo, hotmail, gmail or any others?
Please help urgently.

Hi David,
there is a difference between the mail client used in sapconnect and the capability
to receive emails from the outside world.
The sapconnect function is not only for supplier registration, but also for all email
communication. To set up SAPConnect there are some restrictions mentioned.
Works best with MSOutlook. These settings are done on SRM Server and there
a default mail client is also defined.
The Business Scenario Supplier Registration works fine with any email provider
suppliers use. Like said, it can be yahoo, hotmail, etc. It does not matter, which
mail program (local or webbased) a supplier used. You just have to make sure,
that there are no firewall restrictions to receive mails from outside. This is
completely independed from the SAPConnect settings.

SRM -Supplier Enablement module-a simple query

Hi Gurus,
I am MM consultant, new to SRM. Doing presales activity with client.
I have one query.
My client got an information that SRM-supplier enablement module ( Supplier Collaboration ) implementation requires following :
Any transaction happened through this portal ( client's own portal) SAP charges
2 % on it.
Is it true???
Our client has ecc6 Business suite. what is SAP's pricing strategy for this SRM module
My client's decision of procurement SRM is pending for it. Can anybody provide any information ? Points will be awarded for any useful reply

Hi Santosh,
for SUS there is a fee for number of supplier connected in the SAP fee model.
Quite stupid thing, as many companies have no interest with this to connect
many suppliers. But: depending on the size of your client company, the fee is
wide open for negotiations, esp. with the whole fee package a companies has.

I found many help to add key Figure to the screen, but need to add columns between Key Figure and Initial column.

Hi all,
If some one want to add columns in SNC 7.1 screens,than following can help.
SNC 7.1 screens has been developed using POWL ( Reusable component of ABAP WD ).
In POWL there is a feeder class implementation . In feeder class ,there would be one method as 'Catalogue...".
You can add column there & than in the main method of feeder class you have to provide data source for this
new column. It is the general approach that can be used in any screen in SNC 7.1.

SRM Supplier Qualification vs. Supplier LifeCycle Management

Hi,
Is there a comparison of functionalities between SRM Supplier Qualification and Supplier LifeCycle Management?
The requirement is just for qualifying suppliers via standard qualification process - but may require customer specific survey forms, workflows and evaluation.
Why SLC if a client already has SRM?
Please let me know if anyone has a comparison document.

New buttons on SRM contract screen? (+)

Hello,
I'm asked to add specific button into the SRM contract screen (BBP_CTR_MAIN transaction). I've been trying to use BBP_CUF_BADI, but achieved none - my customer screen is not displayed at all. However it is called - I've checked it using the debugger. What am I doing wrong?

the page cannot be displayed error is coming.
I am using SRM 5.0 . We are not using EP
When i click some nodes the SRM server details are displayed but the browser details are not displayed

URL FOR SUPPLIER SCREENING

Hello gurus,
I am trying to change URL in the section
Customizing for Supplier Screening , in this i am trying to change the URL in the section 'supplier screening' for the
ROLE 'SAP_BBP_STAL_STRAT_PURCHASER'.
But in the change mode , URL is not shown and i am not able to make any changes.
let me know what else customizing settings are required to make the changes.
Points will be rewarded.

even though URL is not shown and we can not edit directly --->
in the edit mode you need to just add the parameter name and the value
for example if the Initial URL was --->
/sap/ros_prescreen/main.do
You want to change this to
/sap/ros_prescreen/main.do?sap-client ='XXX'.
Just add one parameter in the change mode
Name
sap-client
Value
client value 'XXX'.

Custom fields in Source of Supply screen - not getting saved

Hello Experts,
There is a requirement to create 2 customizing fields on Souce of Supply (SOS) screen of Shopping Cart in SRM7.0 and has to be updated in the Backend system (PR,PO etc).
I have created CUST1 and CUST2 in the standard include - INCL_EEW_PD_PARTNER_CSF (Customer Enhancements to Partner in Doc.) which is being used in the structure /SAPSRM/S_CLL_WD_SUPPLIER (CLL structure for SOS).
But while creating Shopping cart, these customizing fields are not getting saved and not transfered to backend.
NOTE:
1. I refered SAP Note - 672960 , but it has no information abt SOS enhancement.
2. I have enhanced the backed system accordingly to show these 2 customizing fields in PR and PO.
3. Webdynpro component for SOS screen is - /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_SC_I_SOS, and the structure used is /SAPSRM/S_CLL_WD_SUPPLIER.

I'm facing exact same problem.
Steps followed:
1. Configuration from SPRO
Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Extension and Field Control -> Configure Customer Fields -> Define Customer fields on item Level -> Append for Customer Fields on Shopping Cart Item
2. Add new fields in Webdynpro: /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_SC_I_SOS
View:V_DODC_SC_I_VENDOR
Still i'm not able to get proper results.

Some buttons on SRM Web screen not enabled

Hi,
When a user logs in SRM Web as an approver,the buttons for Approve,Reject are in Grey mode.However the same looks fine i.e. anabled in other system.What is the factor which controls this functionality?
We want to make these buttons seen as enabled

Which workflow are you using? Please see which is the approval task, by going to the workflow log.
You need to define for this task the dynamic columns for integrated inbox.
SPRO ->
Supplier Relationship Management ->
SRM Server ->
Cross-Application Basic Settings ->
Business Workflow ->
Define Dynamic Columns for Integrated inbox
For relevant task set the column Expression first attr. to
EC_DECISION.

SRM supplier user synchronization between SUS and productive client

Dear Sirs, in our SRM environement the contact persons (and relative system users) created by suppliers in the auto-registration procedure, should be synchronized between SUS and productive client.
(in our implementation client 150 and 330) .
This sync mechanism should be valid also for lock-unlock status of the user and reset of the password,
but in both cases it does not works (a locked user, manually unlocked from client 150 via SU01, is again locked in client 330, the same from 330 client).
Could you suggest a solution or some checkpoints ?
Could you provide some links for the configuration of this mechanism ? (we have seen only the SPRO node " Maintain Systems for Synchronization of User Data") ?
I am not shure if XI is implicated or not.

Maintain Systems for Synchronization of User Data
In this IMG activity, you specify the RFC destinations to which user data from SUS User Management is replicated.
In the Logical System field, you should enter the backend destination with which the user data should be synchronized when they are entered in SUS. On the basis of this information, the system determines the relevant RFC destination automatically.
Specify the function modules for creating, changing, or deleting a user in the external system for each logical system:
Function Module for Creating User: Function module that is called to create a user in the external system
Function Module for Changing User: Function module that is called to change the user in the external system
Function Module for Deleting User: Function module that is called to delete the user in the external system
If this data exists, you can set the indicator Use Purchasing BP ID to use the business partner ID from the procurement system instead of the business partner ID from SUS.
What are the settings maintained here ?

Hide Cost Distribution button in SRM SC screen

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement where in we need to hide the cost distribution,copy to clipboard,etc..buttons in the cost assignment section of shopping cart screen . we are using SRM 5.0
Is there a way where we can make this invisible without making any changes to the standard code.
Any Help in this regard will be highly appreciated

Implement BADI BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI method BBP_SC_UI_CTRL for Object type BUS2121.
Do a check on the iv_fieldname parameter and set the cv_invisible and cv_input_ready to the value you need.
The fieldname for the distribution is called GV_DIST_IND (to get you started).

Any tips on applying the supplied screen protector

On youtube, I've seen rollers (don't have one), lining up from the top, lining up from the side edge.Positioning with the back not peeled and then taping one side so it hinges. I suppose the first question, is it worth using the supplied one, and will it later peel off without taking the ASF with it! - that's really the key with protectors, they are sacrificial.

Welcome to the community,
The removal of a simple Screen protector would not likely remove the ASF, as the ASF is essentially apart of the screen, so removing this is very very hard.
