SRM to PI/XI Integration

Hi Experts,
I'm from SAP-XI background.
In my project I need to create a scenario from SRM ---> PI/XI ---> MDM.
Here we are using SRM 7.0 and PI 7.0 servers.
I'm having the below queries regarding this scenario.
1) Do I need to download the "XI CONTENT for SRM SERVER 7.0" and import it into PI server.
2) If so what is the exact location in the service market place from which I can download
3) What are the steps that need to be done between SRM and PI and also in SLD so that data will be sent from SRM to PI.
Can anyone answer my queries.
Thanks and Regards,
Pruthvi

Hi Pruthvi
Do I need to download the "XI CONTENT for SRM SERVER 7.0" and import it into PI server
yes i think you need to import the content from service market place .. you need to have SMP ID to download the content
or take basis teams help
If so what is the exact location in the service market place from which I can download
https://websmp101.sap-ag.de/support->downloads-> sap installation and upgrades->Installations and Upgrades - Entry by Application Group-Sap Content->ESR content (XI Content)-> here you can see SRM content also
What are the steps that need to be done between SRM and PI and also in SLD so that data will be sent from SRM to PI
I think it will be a proxy to file/MDM scenario. you need to import the content , backend proxy will be created of its own, create the normal dev objects required.

Srinivas

I have CCMS problems when monitoring XI integration engine of a SRM system. The integration engine will not appear in CCMS. I opened a question on SRM solution forum, could somebody have a look at it there. Here is the link to original question and earn your points there:
CCMS monitoring of SRM's own XI integration engine
background: I have previously managed to successfully set up CCMS monitoring for a plain XI system, but there seem to be some difference while SRM's XI only has integration engine and not J2EE engine running. SRM XI Integration engine is in place due to ABAP Proxies used by SRM.

Of course you have to adjust the GRMG in order to have only the ABAP part under monitor.

  • SRM MDM 3.0 Integration with PI 7.1

I have the integration scenario where Supplier list need to transfer from SRM 7.0 to MDM 7.1 using the PI 7.1.
Imported  the content into ESR (SRM Server 7.0,SRM MDM catalog 3.0 ) .   I have 2 issues.
    1. Try to transfer the process integration scenario from ESR to ID , I am able to see the SRM_MDM_Catalog_30  scenario.  But when it did not allow me to assign the business systems and connections .
It throws an error saying that" Cannot load action; check whether all the required actions have been released in the Enterprise Services Repository". So I have done all the steps manually.
I have created the Interface determination with the following details :
    Sender Interface: CataloguePublicationRequest_Out
    Sender Namespace: http://sap.com/xi/EBP
    Receiver Namespace: http://sap.com/xi/SRM-MDMCatalog
    Receiver Interface: MDMSupplierListTransmission_In
The issue is, it does give me the option to select the any operationmappign with the above details.
Any steps in ESR missing or any CacheRefresh issue?
Thanks in advance for any suggestion.

Check the Operation mapping, like what is anbound interface and outbound interface, these details should match with interface determination details(outbound interface details).if you have configured perfectly then it will show the operation mapping.
still if you have a problem then better to refresh the cache,it will solve the problem.even you can manually type the operation mapping name in Interface determination, and test end to end.
if it is also not working out, then create one interface copy objects from two name sapces  http://sap.com/xi/EBP
, http://sap.com/xi/SRM-MDMCatalog . and finish ESR and and finish ID too..

  • Reg SRM 7.0 BP integration into Portal

    Hi Experts,
I have integrated SRM 7.0 BP into Portal. I have got all the business content provided by SAP. But, I am unable to view the preview of many iViews provided with the business content after the Busines Package integration.
Wheneven I am trying to open the iViews, I am getting a portal runtime error for many iViews. I have checked with the permissions and everything looks fine. Also, the connection is successfully established between the SRM backend system and the Portal and also the usermappin is done successfully.
Can any one of you tell what would be the reason for the Portal Runtime Error that is being given whenever I am tryin to preview the iViews.
    Thank You.
    Regards,
    Murthy J N.

    Hi Murthy,
Please login to nwa to see the error you are getting when trying to preview the iView.
    http://<hostname>:<port number>/nwa
User should have Super Administrator role to see the contents.
Monitoring - Logs & Traces - In Predefined iView - Last 24 hours
In the Column Customization click on user to see the error you or the other user is facing.
I think the system alias name mentioned in iView and the one you defined for the system you created for the backend system are not same.
check these things, and you must be able to solve the issues.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers-

  • SRM Category Management - cRoom Integration with cFolders

Can anyone please send me the configuration guide to integrate cRooms (SAP Collaboration Rooms) with cFolders (c Project Suite SAP PLM).
I've got both (SRM-Category Management and PLM-cProjects) the business packages installed on EP and I need to integrate them both.
    Suitable points will be rewarded.
    Regards
    Sreenivas

From ERP using transaction CFE02 you can export the DMS document to cFolders.
These documents can undergo changes in the cFolders.
then via CFI02 you can get back the latest version of the documents from the cFolders into DMS.
In SRM in a bidding scenario, where in you upload all you tendering documents into cFolders which will create a cFolders collaboration in a competitive scenario.
All you docs are put in the public area, then you could create individual areas for you vendors in the same collaboration with atmost security (you can even hide the names of the vendors in the create/changed by columns in the overview tables) .
None of the vendors can see each others information but the public area is visible to all the vendors. Vendors then place their bids in the respective private areas.
You can alternatively use the Portal to create collaboration rooms, which is to upload some docs and download then you would loose the advantage of managing/structuring the bidding process from multiple vendors. Then also the integration aspect with SRM.

  • E-Sourcing and SRM Integration

    Hi,
Has anybody performed SRM 5.0 & E_Sourcing integration 5.0. We are looking that RFx line item could be created manually or automatically copied from shopping cart line item details and later assign source of supply to shopping cart from the award.  I would like you to share your experience/recommendation.  I know SAP is working on standard integration but not sure when it will available to general use.

  • SRM-MDM integration

We have SRM 5.0 being integrated with MDM5.5 for catalog management.
The business requirement is to have some relationship between catalog items like Bill of Materials, Sales Kits, Substitutes and Related Items etc. which MDM2.0 suports.
We would like to take these items to SRM shopping cart with their relationship intact and the dependency among the items is not disturbed by the requester/approver of the shopping cart.
However, we notice that the items with relation ship like Kit are broght from MDM to the Shopping cart in SRM, these items are broken down to each single line item and allows the requester to change these items. This is not ensuring the relationship among the items.
Fro Example: A Kit in MDM contains 10 items. But when it is brought to SRM shopping cart, these items become 10 line items and requester is able to delete / change the quantity, price etc.
Can anyone can help me how to ahcieve the functionality.
Following are being used by us:
    MDM 5.5 SP5; SRM 5.0
    Rao

    Hello Rao,
No item type or relationship information is passed via OCI from SRM-MDM Catalog to SRM. I think you should implement customer field and BADI to handle it.

  • PM to SRM integration through OCI catalog

    Hi,
We have sucessfully set up the necessary settings in ECC6 and SRM for OCI catalog integration when in transaction IW31 (Create Order)
I can see in table EPRTRANS the PR number and when running programme BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER the PR is transfered to SRM.  When looking in transaction SLG1 I am getting an error message saying the Tax Code 00 does not exist. Check enteries
    Regards,
    Gary

    Hi Yousif,
Why dont u save the search as a named search in MDM and then pass it onto the SRM MDM.
Save the records  as Named search in MDM Data Manager
    For eg:
    Named Search name -->> search1
Now while passing the parameters to the SRM MDM Catalog specify the Named Search in its url.
    http://J2EESERVER:PORTNO/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM?sap-locale=EN&HOOK_URL=&mask=&namedSearch=search1&username=Admin&password=PASSWORD&catalog=REPOSITORYNAME&server=MDMSERVERIPADDRESS&datalanguage=EN
After passing the named search in the hook url the you will be able to see only the search which was saved in Data Manager.
    Hope dis helps u

  • Customer Workflows Not Working from SRM Inbox

    Hi everyone,
We are upgrdaing our EBP v3.5 system to SRM 5.0 (SRM SERVER 5.5 SP 5).
We are using integrated ITS and have many bespoke workflows which need to executeable in the SRM inbox via the integrated ITS and ultimately the portal (EP 7.0).
We have various issues with our bespoke workflows not working. The 2 errors we have found are:
    1. When the users click on the workitem from the SRM inbox they sometimes see 'Service Cannot be Reached' error.
    2. Other times they see the workitem details with no user decision buttons shown.
    3. Other times the user decision buttons are shown but if the user clicks on one, they see a blank page with text "workitem currently locked by user WF_BATCH" at the top. This is an 'advance with dialog' task which works fine via SAPGUI.
Any ideas on any of the specific issues, or anything which we need to do generally to get custom workitems to be executeable via the ITS?
    Thanks a lot,
    Nick

    Hi abhijit,
I checked that but I set it to blank in debug mode..but its still disappearing...the button disappears after pressing enter on error message.
actually the BADI when I implemented there is one method where I set E_ADD_ON_ACTIVE flag to 'X' to bring that button(recommended by SAP). that method is not getting called...

  • How to connect SRM - PI - ERP

    Hi experts!
I have to connect the mensionated systems and I haven't experience in those scenarios, I just have experience doing interfaces.
Please. Anybody have a link o something to help me?

  • Message is not going to XI in SRM- MDM scenario

    hello,
    We are doing SRM_MDM scenario.
We have installed SRM-MDM Catalog 2.0 Business Contents on XI.
But i couldn't see any Outbound Interface in these standard contents.
I want xsd for CatalogPublicationRequest_Out.............. where will i get that (transaction) ???
Also when i execute the Report ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG in SRM, I could see my message( CatalogPublicationRequest_Out ) in SXMB_MONI of SRM.
But its not going to XI...............I can't see it in SXMB_MONI of XI.
That message in MONI of SRM have Sender but Receiver field is blank.
May be because of this is it not going to XI.
Please tell me the steps that i need to follow.
Help will be highly appreciated.............. its urgent
    Thanks in advance
    Maheshwari.

    Hi Hi Maheshwari,
Sap has shipped the preconfigured proxies for the transaction.
    ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG.
you can get the complete business Pack and related docs for SRM_MDM Catalog on the Service market place.
you need to Import of PI Business Content for SRM-MDM Catalog in Integration Repository
For that Place PI content file (XI_7_0_SRM_MDM_CATALOG_1.0_00_00.tpz) in directory “/usr/SAP/xid/sys/global/xi/repository_server/import”. This Content file can be found in Business content Import of PI Business Content for SRM-MDM Catalog in Integration Repository.
But first before importing above file.
You have to configure SLD Connections in which:
1.Defining Technical System for SRM Server, MDM and SAP PI.
2.Creating Business systems for SRM, PI and MDM
u also need to do Configuring Setup for ABAP Proxies:
    1. use Transaction SM59 for creating RFC destination for HTTP( TYPE H) where u Specify Host Name of the PI server, Service Number and Path Prefix  in Technical Settings tab.
    2. u also need to configure SRM System as Local Integration Engine. For this enter transaction SXMB_ADM .
    HOPE IT WORKS,
    Thanks,
    Mandeep Saini

  • Purchase Requisition transfer from ECC to SRM via XI

    Experts,
Please let me know if you have any information on  the following issue:
Environment : SRM 7.0,  ECC ep4,  Extended Classic scenario
The purchase requisitions have been created in ECC and released. I believe in SRM 7.0  the PR's get automatically transferred to  SRM Sourcing cockpit via XI from ECC.
One PR was pushed manually from SMQ1(Outbound queue ) in  ECC and this failed due to a login issue in XI.
The XI was using the interface  PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest.
    My question is
    1. When the PR is released in ECC, where to check if the PR is pushed to XI. Do we need to schedule a job? When I checked SMQ1 (outbound queue, the queues are empty)
    2. Do we need to define the partner profile in ECC for XI in We20. If so, then what message types to use for the  IDocs going from ECC to XI.
    2. Do we need to configure the interface PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest in XI to map the incoming PR from ECC.
    3. In transaction SXMB_moni in XI  I am not able to pull the  XML messages. What options options do I need to
set to pull the messages that errored out.
    Thanks,
    Scott.

    Hi All,
Hope this helps you for XI configuration
       Importing Business Scenarios for Sourcing
In this section, you transfer the business scenario Strategic Sourcing from the SAP Integration Repository, generate it, and activate it.
    Prerequisites
    You have:
Defined the business systems for SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) and SAP ERP in the SAP System Landscape Directory. For more information about SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (SAP NetWeaver PI), see the SAP Marketplace
Imported the SAP NetWeaver PI content for SAP SRM into the SAP Integration Repository.
    Procedure
Log on to the SAP Netweaver PI system.
    Choose Integration Builder: Configuration.
In the left pane, select the Objects tab.
Choose  Service Without Partner  Business System .
Right-click to display the context menu and choose  Business Systems  Assign Business System . This opens the wizard.
Choose Continue. The wizard guides you through the required steps.
Create the business system for both SAP SRM and ERP (you can bypass this step if the business system is already setup).
    Select a business system.
You can create communication channels either manually or automatically. You can create them automatically here. In this case, the systems are applied from the SAP System Landscape Directory (SLD). Channels must be complete in terms of URLs and authentication information.
Choose Finish, and then choose Close.
    11. On the main screen, choose  Tools  Transfer Integration Scenario from Integration Repository . This opens a wizard.
Choose Name using input help SE_Sourcing_Enhancements
Choose Continue. The scenario name is SE_Sourcing_Enhancements.
Choose Finish and then choose Close. The Business Scenario Configurator opens automatically.
    Choose Component View.
The Select Component View window opens.
    Choose Apply.
Choose Assign Services. The Assign Services to Application Component window opens.
Press F4 to retrieve the available services.
    Choose Assign.
Select the related service and choose OK.
Assign a business service to all roles.
    Choose Configure Connections.
Select the connections from the Service Assignment tab.
Press F4 in the Communication Channel field.
Select a communication channel. This channel must be of type XI.
    Note
If the systems are applied from the SAP Landscape Directory, the Integration Builder automatically creates the communication channels.
If the systems are not applied from the SAP Landscape Directory, you create communication channels manually. To do this choose an existing service and then Communication Channel using context menu New. You must assign a communication channel for each connection.
    End of the note.
Choose OK and then choose Apply.
Choose Generate to open the Create Configuration Objects window.
Choose Simulation, then Generate, then mark all in the list Scope of Generation.
Choose Start to generate a log. Check the log for errors and save it if required.
In the Close Integration Scenario screen, choose Apply.
In the left pane, select the Scenarios tab; your scenario has been added.
In the left pane, select the Change List tab.
    Expand the Standard Change List.
Right click on the scenario name SE_Sourcing_Enhancements and choose Activate.
    Regards
    Sam
