SRM to R3 rfq sending

hi,
In my developement the requirement is that when i enter a purchase document number in r3, an rfc enabled function module should be called who using this number will fetch purchasing group and vendor from SRM.Please tell me in which table in SRM all these three fields are there.Please replay asap.

PO via Email: plz check that u have given the user email in SU01
check the process as follows
u2022 Goto NACE .
u2022 Select EF and click on OUTPUT TYPES.
u2022 Then select Output Type NEU and click on processing routines .
u2022 In that you have to add a new entry - medium 5 .
u2022 Then you need to assign a program, form routine and form.
u2022 You can use the standard program i.e. SAPFM06P, FORM routine is always ENTRY_NEU and standard MEDRUCK.
u2022 Then in PARTNER FUNCTION you need to add a new entry : medium - 5 and function - VN .
u2022 For subject of the mail goto Mail Title and Texts. In title give PO No. &EKKO-EBELN& .
u2022 Under General data -> Replacement of text symbols give programm as SAPMM06E and Form Routine as TEXT_SYMBOL_REPLACE .
u2022 Now the subject will be PO No. 1800004202.
u2022 You need to maintain your email id in tcode SU01 and also the vendor's email id.
u2022 Now while creating a new purchase order , change the medium to External Send .
u2022 Then goto Communication Method and select CS01 . ALSO make sure that the Cover Page Text has value PO No. &EKKO-EBELN& .
u2022 Goto tcode ME9F .
u2022 Execute.
u2022 Select the checkbox and click on Output Message.
u2022 You will get a message MAII 00000000000001 generated .

Inorder to develop interface,you need to know Source Application details, data format, connection feasibility etc.
Anyway for SRM, SAP has delivered some pre-built XI content with mapping and design. So have a look into this guides to get the more so that, you can minimize custom work.

Program in SAP R/3 system to send Pending GR notification mails to SRM use

Hi
Can anyone help me with a program name in SAP R/3 system, which will send notification mails to SRM users for which the Confirmations/GRs pending in SRM. what is the program name.
Here there is some program which is sending out Email notifications to SRM users to do the confirmations in SRM. where it would send the details of PO number also in the mail. But not able to get the program name whether this runs in SRM or R/3.
I have a faint idea this would run in SAp R/3 system. but not sure about it and the name of it.

There is no standard report for the requirement mentioned by you. You might have to develop a custom report.

Can RFQ (Bid Invitation/ Vendor Bid) be transferred from SRM to R/3 ?

Hi,
when you have classic scenario the PO is directly created in R/3; in extended a copy of the PO is in R/3. So you have the PO in the Backend in either case.
The information is available in SRM for the RFQ - there is no sense to have double documents. The documents are connected like in the shopping cart, so there is a reference to the PO.

I'm new with SRM and like from a help.
Working with SAP 4.7 and now with SRM 5.0, I need make the two systems if communicate.
I need send from SAP to SRM the master data, Material, Customer, Material Group, Cost Center.
I need send the shop car from SRM for create a PR in SAP.
I need send the documents RFQ, PO and Contract from SAP to SRM. For RFQ need receive in SAP the data of price updated by the customer.
How to make this conection? There are standard interface for these data? What are these interfaces?

Not able to see Enhanced Data type in SPROXY in SRM

Hello Experts,
We are planning to use an outbound (SRM to PI) Proxy between SRM and PI to send XML messages. Our SRM team has requested a Datatype enhancement of SAP's predelivered SCV, SAP SRM SERVER 7.0 component i.e. RFQRequest. So, In ESR we have created a new Enhanced data type based on RFQMessage (SAP's pre delivered datatype). I've added their (SRM team's) 6 extra elements to this new Enhanced Data Type, RFQMessageExtension. And, saved and activated it.
Now, to generate the Proxy I went into SRM -> SPROXY, but I donu2019t see my Enhanced Datatype, RFQMessageExtension. Please let me if you've come across this problem or know the solution. SRM 4.0 (with SRM Server 5.0) ---- XI 3.0-------R/3

Iam also working in SRM. I want to integrate SRM and XI for sending a PO from SRM to third party system through XI. I already have a PO created in SRM and I want to send it through XI to Third party system and then want to create corresponding Sales Order in that system.
We are using SRM 4.0(with SRM Server5.0)and XI 3.0.

Hi Narayana!!
Treat SRM as another R/3 system and use the general flow logic. Create a Sender RFC to send the PO that you have created from SRM system using RFC sender adapter to XI.
Another way:
You can create a work flow which will trigger an IDOC once your PO is created and the IDOC will reach XI using ALE. You need to configure RFC destinations and partner Profiles etc.
Once your PO informations reaches XI you have to configure reciver adapter based on your third Party.
Lets say your third party system is a J2ee application or another R/3 system then you have to configure either a reciver http adapter or a Reciever RFC adapter.
I know this is quite generic......

Third party -- XI -- SRM Scenario,

Hi SRM experts,
We have a third party sending XML PO Request with external reference ID to XI, map it to SRM PO Request, and send to SRM. What we would want the SRM to do is to process the incoming request, generate a PO number, and send back an XML PO confirmation with the external reference ID and newly generated PO number.
In R/3, I know we have to set up partner profiles, ports, and message control to automate the creation and sedning of order response for an incoming order request. Are there equivalent configurations we can do in SRM? If yes, where can we do that? Basically I would like to create an output determination when a PO is created in SRM, so that the PO is sent to the third party application via XI.
Has anyone have any suggestion on this? or encountered similar scenario?

We are working on SRM 4.0. We are sending a PO from SRM to R/3 usng XI in xml format.
Now we want the Purchase Order Response in SRM from R/3 through XI. How can we achieve that?
We have used an RFC receiver Adapter in XI to connect to SRM and we have mapped the ORDRSP IDoc to the PurchaseOrderConfirmation Message Type. But in the Message Monitoring of the RWB we are getting an error:

What is XI proxy Framework?
I think the Proxy Framework consists of the Proxy Generator and the Proxy Runtime. The Proxy Framework for ABAP (generator and runtime) is part of the SAP Web Application Server and no specific installation is needed.
Is the same as XI Framework?
Dont we require any mapping? Because Iam getting the Sales Order details through ORDRSP IDoc fron the Vendor. So in order to transfer the data to SRM I require the mapping.

in pre-XI times in order to Acknowledge IDocs you used ALEAUD which is an incoming IDoc to the sending SAP system that collects all the received idocs in the receiving system and sends there processing status to the sending system.
Problem is that this IDoc can only be generated on a job schedule.
This is a shot in the dark but Maybe you can try to find this IDoc on the XI side and map to it the RFC response,
this way you'll acknowledge the IDoc that basically were send to xi from the sending system.
Why not using Sending Idoc on R\3, Recieving IDoc on SRM,sending ALEAUD from SRM to R3 all through xi???

I am working on a scenario where I am sending Local PO from SRM Srever(EBP) to Vendor R/3 through XI. In Vendor system I am creating Sales Order. Now I want to send Purchase Order Response to SRM Server, which should be automatically inserted in the SRM.
I am sending ORDRSP Idoc from Vendor R/3 to XI Server. This Idoc is Received Successfully in XI. I am mapping this Idoc to PurchaseOrderConfirmation_In Interface. Here out of 0010000274, 001 is the Action code at Item level which is mapped with E1EDP01-> Action, and 274 is the Sales Order No. (Seller Id) which is mapped with E1EDK01-> BELNR.

Get PDF data from RFC and send in email.

Hello,
I need to get PO spool PDF from R/3 server into SRM server and send email from SRM.
Code for sending PDF in email is working fine if executed from R/3 .But in SRM server PDF
in email is not opening in SOST transaction. Its showing error "Adobe reader cannot open document because either its not a supported file type or the file has ben damaged(for example,it was sent as an email attachment and wasnt correctly decoded).
Is this due to some server specific settings? Any help is appreciated!

If the generated PDF file is opened properly in R/3 & not in SRM, then it should be a version issue.
Please check for any relevant note wrt SRM/PDF.

ABAP Proxy connection Between PI and SRM for XMLs

Hello Experts,
We are trying to set up ABAP proxy connection between PI 7.1 and SRM so we can send XML from SRM into PI.
Our SRM developer is getting an SLD error (below) and seems like something is not set up right in the SLD. Could you help me out with any kind of blog/documention on setting up an ABAP proxy connection between PI and an ABAP system. Something that talks about what steps we need to take in PI and SRM.
