SRM Workflow - Contract Status problem

Hey guys!
I'm having a problem with the status on the approval of contracts in SRM; even though all the required approvers have checked the contract and approved it, its status still remains at "Waiting for Approval." Would anyone know what might be causing this and how this could be fixed?

SRM GoA with status as "Distribution Incorrect" althogh contract is created in ERP

Dear SRMers,
We are using the classic scenario with SRM 7.0.2.
I am facing a problem with Global out line agreements in SRM where the status of the GoA is showing as: "Distribution incorrect".
We have verified that the respective IDOC of type BLAORD is generated and posted in the backend R/3 system and the respective Contract is also created in the R/3 system(ME33K).
Can you advise me why this wrong status and can we correct this status to: "Distributed"
or Is it a standard product error?
Looking for your valuable advise.

Try to check transaction RZ20. It should show the real errors behind the "distribution incorrect status".

I was contracted a contract using ppb_pd_ctr_create. I want to change the status of the contract to close or delete.. is there any function module available to do the same?

what is the behaviour of contracts in SRM in general.
Q1.- I create a GOA document in SRM, it is distribute to backend system (R/3). In this moment, which is the status of GOA in SRM?

2.- Is necessary to activate workflow process to release GOA automatically and then distribute to backend?

A2A :- No . you should not change any value in ME32K . no business allows this. you must speak to basis and pull everyone access to edit Purchasing contract. All edit/ massage / change happen only in GOA . evry changes in GOA versions will be created and distributed to backend sytem every time.
3.- I want to activate a non standard workflow process in backend system (R/3) for contracts distributed. How can I do that when backend contract is released then GOA contract in SRM change the status?
you can do mostly busineess needs approval on GOA approval.

Workflow item update status problem

Hi,
we are having 2 level approval process (SRM 5.0 classic scenario). we are having below mentioned problem.
User creates a SC and it goes for approval.once he approves the SC.system shows the node id state as COMPLETED in bbp_pd but the workflow item status will be STARTED and status text will be IN Process.
could any one suggest me how to overcome this problem.do i need to execute any reports or any config is missing?

i have checked the way you have sugggested.
1) before approval the status is STARTED and status text as IN Process and node id status is READY
2) After approval the status is STARTED and status text is IN PROCESS and node id status is COMPLETED
workitem id remains same. approver is not changing anything he is just clicking on approve button.i am not able to see any information in RZ20. i tried to update the cart status through program BBP_ALERT_SB_NOTTRANSFERED but i found no changes in RZ20
any suggestions please

Sharepoint2010 Reusable workflow Out come status problem

Hi ,
I have one reusable workflow which is associated to library. it having more conditions and statements. this is
main workflow in my project. at a time more than 10 users are working on this workflow.
All the tasks are storing in task library.
based on Outcome status (Workflow column)field my workflow going next level.
if Outcome status is submit or complete it's going to next level.
some items Outcome status been updating as a "cancelled". In workflow i have not given this condition. But it updating like this.
even i am unable to found any error/exception in log file.
so once status has updated as a "Cancelled" workflow not going to next level. in that case i am simple terminating the workflow running from first step.
so please give so suggestion to overcome this issue.

Is this SPD workflow? The workflow task status changes to Cancelled if the task is no longer required to be responded by the individual. Do you have any condition in the workflow where it is assigning task to multiple people but only one response is requred?
In this case, workflow will update one task as completed and other tasks as Cancelled. Check the completion condition of your workflow. Hope it helps.

After configuring the workflow in SharePoint designer followed below mentioned TechNet blog to go through the workflow designing

As in the blog project Event is set to when project is submitted, we tried a lot to submit the project but submit button was grayed out and unable to do this, then we changed to event

If the workflow initiator does not have write access to the hidden Workflow History List, the same error happens.
To solve the issue, simply open the hidden list permission (through SharePoint Designer>All Files>Lists, for example) and make sure to have your potential initiators contribute rights. The list defaultly inherits the site's permissions.

Workflow Error status in checking In records (Records still getting syndicated to Port)

Hi Experts,
I have syndication strencil step before stop (check in) step.
After successfully syndication of records to respective ports when i see status of workflow it is going in Error state.
When i checked history of workflow then in last check in step it is giving error "insufficient right to checkin".
Owner for workflow is defined as "WFOWNER", which is specialy defined which do not have modify access to record and can see all workflow's status in workflow tab.
Below are the permissions this role is having which include checkin owned and no-owned records also.

I already have tried this option, but no luck... :-( .
Its still showing "insufficient right to checkin" in last stop check in step.
I did 1 testing that i want to share. I tried with only 3 steps, start -> syndication step -> stop and kept same owner of this workflow " WFOWNER". I got completed status with no error.
I was thinking that problem is with WFOWNER id or syndication step, but after this testing i am not sure where is the problem.

A question about Droid pre-order and contract status

I preorded the droid from best buy the first day preorders were available. The person who handled my order didn't mention problems with my current contract status. My 2yr contract isn't up till 4/2010, and from reading here, it seems that best buy doesn't do the 1yr early upgrades.
So when I go down to best buy on friday to attempt to pick up my phone what are gonna be my options?
$599 retail price, or nothing? And so, will they refund my $50?
Would they do the 1yr and $369 price, if they consider I put in over one year on my current contract and consider it a $1yr? (I read someone say this would be an option)

According to the guy that posted that, he was orginally denied, like has been said here. but then the looked it up and told him they'd honor the 1yr early upgrade.
To me, it just doesn't make much sense to not honor what verizon does.. cause you'd be losing lots of business. Anyone who is up for NE2, and denied honoring it by BB will just go to the verizon store, or order it online via verizons website. Anyone 1 year into their 2 year contract who is denied the 1yr early upgrade that verizon offers, and who doesn't care much about waiting for their $100-$50 NE2 discount will again be forced to buy elsewhere cause BB turns them away.
I'm not trying to make threats that BB needs to change. Just trying to draw attention to something that makes no sense to lots of customers. And would like someone to actually look into this again, since it seems to vary from store to store, clerk to clerk.

SRM 7 Contract Distribution not possible in PPS - is it true ?

I gather that the SRM 7.0 Central Contract are not distributed to ECC 6.04 in PPS environment.
( Ours is SRM 7.0 ECC 6.0 Enhp 4 with PI 7.11 on PPS - ECS.)
Correct me if i am wrong.
If so, is there any other way to distribute Central Contract to ECC . Even it its partial distribution.
Thogh, I hv config for CCTR following the SNote 1268821. To start the problem, the Distribution button on the header of the contract is disabled. CCTR tran type configured both in SRM and ECC.

You can try reverting the note 1354971, to get an assign distribution button active at item level.
Interfaces(XML) which are used to transfered the central contract are not extended to all the fields related to PPS functionality. Eg. Guaranteed Minimum.
These fields will not be transfered to backend and other process like release value updation to the backend contract has limitation as PPS funcalities can be used only in extended classic scenario.
So we have a limitation and also this functionality will not be supported in PPS.
Nevertheless, you can enable this funcationality and use with the limitation.
You will have to handle this through custom meta data handle where you need to create dynamic class and method and maitain in the customizing table /SAPSRM/V_MDA_HC. You can enable the Assign distribution button and link in the dynamic class.
You can check the configuration in the standard meta table /SAPSRM/V_MDA_HD for reference.

SRM Local Contracts - Price Conditions

We are trying to extract the price conditions from the SRM Local Contract line items, with the Condition Type, Valid From, Valid To, Amount, Price Unit, Unit. This is to allow us to track the changes in contract prices.
If you have any experience of this, or know which SRM tables we need to be extracting from it would be greatly appreciated! We already have the Contract Header and Line information from CRMD_ORDERADM_H, CRMD_ORDERADM_I, BBP_PDHGP and BBP_PDIGP. Where are the conditions stored? And are there any extractors planned for this in the future? It would be very useful standard content.

SRM-Menu "Check status" displays only part of the relevant SC

When unsing funktion in SRM-Menu "Check status" the displayed SC are 11 (limited to last year).
In fact the number of SC is 81 when using function "Monitor Shopping Cart" (limited to last year).
Did any one face this issue beforeß what is a solution to show all corresponding SC ?
We use SRM_SERVER 550 (SAPKIBKT09)

Have the user id ( employ id ) ever deleted between this time period and have restored the same user id
again? Have u reassign this user id in Org structure also?
In this case tick on 'bought on behalf of ' of check status including tick on 'including completed shopping
carts'.
If this does not help then please analyse ( date, status, deleted/approved/rejected etc ) the SCs showing in Monitor SC and those showing in check status. I think details analysis might help u to slove your problem

SRM Workflow for external Purchase requisitions ECC

Dear experts,
We are in SRM 7 Classic scenario , ECC 6. Using SRM process controlled workflow . We want to enable SRM workflow for external Purchase requisitions. As per SAP note 505030 topic 16 , approval is not triggered in SRM for external requirements. So we need to find a new solution as it's a clinet requirement.
Current scenario:
External purchase requisition created from ME51N or Plant maintenance are sent to SOCO for buyer completion. External PRs generate a SC BUS2121 EXTR in status approved.
Desired scenario:
We want those external requirements to be sent to SRM for approval (approval with completion + approval)
After implementing changes suggested in Prasannau2019s document (http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/5082a622-7310-2c10-1a9b-ef31dd69a770 ) , the Workflow is still not triggered for the external PRs, the SC is created but remains in status awaiting approval. No work item is created (neither in BBP_PD not in SWI6, not in SWIA).
Can anyone provide some guidance on what else need to be changed in order to activate SRM Workflow for external PRs?

Hi Any one got answere this issue. I also implemented the steps provided in the document created by Prasannau2019s. The workflow is getting triggered for external requisitions now but when we are changing the PR in ECC and transferring again that time its not gettign triggered neighther its restarting the exisiting approval workflow in process (if any).
