SRM workflow for SC

Hi,
We need to send the reminders to approvers as below to the SC approvers:
1st Reminder - 3rd BusinessDay.
2nd Reminder - 6th Business Day.
3rd Reminder - 10th Business Day.
Please let me know how we can achieve this.

SRM Workflow for external Purchase requisitions ECC

Dear experts,
We are in SRM 7 Classic scenario , ECC 6. Using SRM process controlled workflow . We want to enable SRM workflow for external Purchase requisitions. As per SAP note 505030 topic 16 , approval is not triggered in SRM for external requirements. So we need to find a new solution as it's a clinet requirement.
Current scenario:
External purchase requisition created from ME51N or Plant maintenance are sent to SOCO for buyer completion. External PRs generate a SC BUS2121 EXTR in status approved.
Desired scenario:
We want those external requirements to be sent to SRM for approval (approval with completion + approval)
After implementing changes suggested in Prasannau2019s document (http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/5082a622-7310-2c10-1a9b-ef31dd69a770 ) , the Workflow is still not triggered for the external PRs, the SC is created but remains in status awaiting approval. No work item is created (neither in BBP_PD not in SWI6, not in SWIA).
Can anyone provide some guidance on what else need to be changed in order to activate SRM Workflow for external PRs?

The workflow is getting triggered for external requisitions now but when we are changing the PR in ECC and transferring again that time its not gettign triggered neighther its restarting the exisiting approval workflow in process (if any).

ENABLE SRM WORKFLOW FOR EXTERNAL PURCHASE REQUISITIONS

Hi,
Iu2019m creating a shopping cart using an external approver. We require external requisition to be completed by the purchasibg manager.
The changes were implemented as outlined in the document

I create the purchase req in the external system and the transfer the requisition to SRM. A shopping cart is then created. This shopping cart goes to the purchasing manager for completion. Upon completion by purchasing manager, a message appears to say 'External requisitions do not require an approval process' and
the workitem remains in their inbox.
This workflow processed correctly for normal shopping carts. I canu2019t understand why it does work for external purchasing requisitions.

BPM and Workflow for SRM 7

Does anyone know if BPM (Business Process Management) supports SRM and specifically SRM 7.0?
Is it possible to create the workflow in BPM and then transfer it to SRM 7? Will that work flow be a "developed" workflow from SRM point of view?

Need to query workflow for Shopping Carts for a report

Hello,
I am not familar enough with SAP's workflow to know if there are tables or function modules that I can use. I am requested to develop a report to allow selection of a user's id and find all shopping carts where that person is in the workflow. Can this be done without re-inventing the world?

Approval Workflow for Creating Internal Users Use
When an employee requests a user master record and Customizing has been configured such that a user needs to be approved, the users manager receives a work item.
· If the manager approves the request, the user is released. The employee receives an e-mail with an automatically generated password at the address that he or she entered when making the request.
· If the manager rejects the request, the employee is also notified by e-mail.

· You have activated approval by the manager.

Error in Workflow for Service Confirmation

Hello,
We are using SAP SRM 7.0 for our project with Extended classical scenario. We need to build a workflow for Service confirmation approval. We are supposed to use the Process controlled workflows.
I am using the standard workflow template WS40000014 (Process controlled). In SWETYPV, i have activated the event linkage for BO '/SAPSRM/CL_WF_PDO_SC' and event 'READY_FOR_WORKFLOW' for the template WS40000014. Rest everything is untouched.
Now when I am trying toe trigger the workflow by creating a confirmation in the SRM Portal, the confirmation is created successfully but when I see the workflow log, I can see the step 'Create Decision Set' in the task TS40007938 in the status 'ERROR'. Upon drilling, the error text says :
"Work item 000000005074: Object /SAPSRM/CL_WF_PROCESS_MGR_SBWF method CREATE_DECISION_SETS cannot
Message no. WL821
"Error raised in business class ''"
Is there anything missing in the config which I need to check? Please help!

Hi there,
This kind of error usually means:
[1] The triggering user does not have the correct authorization to
    execute the agent assignment of the first step
- Please trigger the workflow with a user with SAP_ALL in order
      to test if this is the case.
[2] The business object instance is not being passed to your workflow
    and so the initial step cannot be created or executed. Please
    check the binding to make sure the instance is passed at
    designtime and also runtime (Via technical log -> workflow
    container).

SAP SRM Workflow Options: Winshuttle or ABAP WebDynpro

We are implementing SRM. Our considerations for SAP Workflow are Winshuttle with an MS Sharepoint Site,or,ABAP WebDynpro. Does anyone have any experiences or suggestions that they could share that could help us to make a desicion. Or, another method that is cost efficient and easily supportable?

Workflow component is in built in SRM. You donu2019t need any external component for it.
There are 2 types of workflow supported by SAP SRM.
1. Application Controlled Workflow
2. Process Controlled Workflow (BRF)
You can use BRF if you are implementing SRM 5.0 & above.
I think you should explore more on SRM workflows; it will certainly give you insight on workflow implementation.

Event Control for Organizational Management
Use
In this IMG activity, you can define whether the events of the event schema for the employee (DEPARTMENT_CHANGED and ADRESS_CHANGED) are to be used. These events are then triggered when the organizational unit or the address data of an employee is changed. Then, depending on the settings in the associated event schema, SRM Alert Management is used to trigger an alert, provided that you have entered the schema.
You maintain this in the IMG activity Define Event Schema.
You can change the event text under Define Events.
Activities
If you want to activate the event schema for the employee, enter the value for the business object Employee (BUS1006003) in the Event Schema field. The default value is MA.
To deactivate it, leave the field empty.

Tengo un requisito que es similar a la del ruta
SPRO -> Servidor SRM -> sourcing -> Definir campos en Compras que desencadenan Workflow
Puedo definir qué campos de un carrito de la compra deben dar lugar a un flujo de trabajo de aprobación cuando se editan.
Pero no lo hace para Ordenes de Compra.
La idea es que se inicie el WF nuevamente solo cuando se modifica un campo del pedido.
No estoy seguro de si es posible para PO. Si es así, alguna sugerencia sobre cómo hacer esto.

First and foremost: did you run SWU3?
This is a crucial starting point for workflow in SRM as it does various automatic customizations regarding SRM-workflow.
You indicate you activated the workflow. Could you detail how?
One of the safest ways is to use the transaction OOCU.
In the tree presented go to:
SRM > SRM-EBP > SRM-EBP-WFL
In this you can both activate the workflow, activate the event-linkage (telling the system that the SAVE-event on a BUS2121 = Shopping Cart should select WS10000060 as a potential workflow). You should be able to check whether everything is setup correctly using SWETYPV (it should list the BUS2121 + event: SAVED linked to WS10000060, with the event-linkage-checkbox marked).
If it still does not work, please let me know.
