SRM workflow - work Item is not being displayed

Hello,
We have SRM wrofklow configured on Portal and users are already using it.
Recently, we got one issue from the user saying he is not able to see the work item on Portal under UWL.
He can see the same work item in his inbox on SRM system.
I checked for the task# and task# TS40007953 was there in the standard com.sap.pct.srm.core UWL config file but it is not there in uwl.webflow.SAP_SRM UWL configuration file. 
com.sap.pct.srm.core has Medium priority where as uwl.webflow.SAP_SRM has low priority.
I tired doing Re-Register as well on UWL system but no success.
Can anyone let me what could be wrong? Where it could be errors? On Portal or SRM?

Hi Bhavik
Usually when there is one user who is experiencing an issue, it is because they have personalizations set on the UWL.
Please clear this users personalizations by doing the following:
Go to system admin, system config, universal worklist and workflow, universal worklist administration.  On the administration page, go to click to manage item types and view definitions.  Here you will see a tab called reset personalizations.  Go there and type in the userid, and reset the personalizations for this user. 
If personalizations is not what is causing the issue, check to see if this user is missing a role. You can do a cross comparison of two users in both the backend and the portal.  It would be helpful then to also bump up the logging levels on the UWL and look at the latest default trace when this user tries to connect to the portal.

    We have observed one issue here. Workitems are not visible in UWL in portal.
    But workitems are available in SAP inbox. i.e SBWP.

  • Workflow error " Work item could not be found"

    Hi Experts,
    I used transaction SWI2_DIAG to diagnose the error and tried to restart the workitem manually .The changes were made to Org chart  and now everything is fine but I am still getting error message:
    Work item could not be found                                                             
    Workflow 'Post with Clearing Workflow' step number 4: work item could not be created     
    Agent determination for step '0000000004' failed                                         
    Workflow WS93000005 no. 000004806372 activity 0000000004 role 'AC00000168': No agent found

    Can someone explain what this error message mean and why i cant restart the workitem manually?

  • ISE CSR not being displayed

    I have an ISE Primary Monitor node that the Server Certificate has expired.  I generated a new CSR and it reported that it was created and could be viewed under the Certificate Signing Requests tab but it never showed up.  Tried to re-generate but it now states that it already exists.  Rebooted the device to see if that would fix the issue but the CSR is still not showing.  For a test I created another CSR using the ip address of the device as the CN; and again it reported that it could be viewed but is not being displayed under the CSR tab.  These are the log items when I created the initial CSR and what it shows when I tried to create another using the same CN. The version of ISE is 1.1.3.124.  I was able to create CSR and update Certificates on the Administration/Policy nodes.

    Tried generating another CSR from a different app but no success.
    Opened a TAC case and was told that this is a bug CSCuh91639,  Worked with TAC engineer to have them go into the DB with root access on this node and the primary node to delete the CSR.  Also had de-register the ISE from the deployment and then reset the ISE to default setting to have it create a new self signed cert to allow re-registering the device into the deployment.  After this I was able to create a CSR and generate a cert from our CA.  
    Will look into updating to 1.2 since this bug is fixed in that version.

  • Work item could not be accepted

    Hello,
    I have created a simple Workflow in a 4.6C system. The first step is a User Decision step, with two possible decisions. When I assigned standard user decision task TS00008267, it works fine when I test the workflow. But since I want a custom text in the Work Item description, I have copied this task into a custom one, with the same options and everything.
    Now, when I test the workflow, the Work Item is generated, but I can't see it in my Business Workplace.
    I can see it using SWI1, in status Ready. If I display it and try to execute the activity, I get the message :
    Work item could not be accepted (->function canceled)
    Without any long text. I have searched everywhere for this, and cannot find why it does that.
    Does anyone have an idea ?

    HI,
    Open your task. In that go to Additional Data --> Agent Assignment --> Maintain. Select the task. Then click on attributes & select general task there.
    Save and try testing your workflow again.

  • Fieldname in not being displayed in the table maintenance

    Hi Experts,
                     I have created a table maintenance for a custom table.The table contains 10 fields out of which first 3 are key fields.
    on the 3rd key field i have supplied F4 help so as to populate the 4th field automatically based on the selection of 3rd field.
    everything is working fine but last 6 'fieldname' is not being displayed on the column bar.instead of fieldname there is '+' sign on the column. And i have checked in layout(screen) also only first four fields being displayed.

    Hello Mukesh,
    As you know, data element or pre-defined data type will be assigned as field type to the fields in a table. If you are assigning the data element, then the data element has the option to give the field label.
    If you are assigning the data element and the field label is empty, then + sign will come. In other case -  if you assigning the pre-defined data type also, the screeen column header will be shown as + sign.
    In both the above cases, you can change the column header manually in the layout.

    With iOS 6, the all day events showed up in the notification centre but it lacks in the upgrade iOS 7.

    Same problem here. Some people pointed out that all-day events do show up in their notification center, but that seems only to be the case for birthdays (and only as text like the weather). I've tried it myself on my iPhone and iPad and it did work for birthdays but not for any other all-day events. I already sent this to Apple as a product feedback as well, as should everyone of you. The more people mention it, the faster Apple's going to fix this issue. In its current state, notification center is not a very helpful feature in my opinion. There's absolutely no point in not showing all-day events in the 'today' calendar overview.

    We were unable to see the REVENUE column values in the report. We were able to see the values while creating layout, but unable to see the values in report. Report is not having any filters or parameters. This is build on two tables. Revenue in one table and details in another table.

    Just noticed that, able to see column values in HTML, pdf views but unable to see in interactive view.
    While creating the layout checked in Interactive view, at that time able to get column values, but in the report column values are not being displayed in interactive view.
    But in HTML, list option , Repeating Section is not working, so have to see in interactive view only.
    I can say, in Interactive vew Aggregate functions are not working properly. We need tro use Repeating Section and List option in report. so we need interactive view only.

  • Images not being displayed in metro apps

    OS: Windows 8.1 enterprise
    Images are not being displayed (a small cross mark shown on the left) when I open metro apps that I download from Store. The store as well doesn't show images. I am able to see images in some built in metro apps like travel and weather.
    What's the fix. I guess the company network is blocking it. What is the work around?

    NOTE: This is WINDOWS 8.1 METRO UI issue. It doesn't have anything to do with VISIO. The only option that I had to choose when i selected Windows 8.1 is VISIO. This site appears to be broken and not user friendly.

    Which metro app did you download and occur the issue? As you post the question in Visio forum, did you use Visio 2013 preview? As far as I know, the version had been off the store after the official version released.
    If I misunderstand, please give me more information (Such as App name) or images about your question.

  • Check boxes are not being displayed in any list applets

    Issue: The check boxes are not being displayed in any list applets in the system. A check box can be marked in the system, but as soon as the user clicks anywhere outside of the box the check box 'visibly' disappears. If you hover the mouse over the check box it displays a 'Y'. However, check boxes are working fine for the form applet, the issue is only with the list applet.
    I verified the checkboxes work fine in the thick client and in production. However, it is the testing environment, which belongs to client, that is showing the above behavior. I think there is some setting that is missing for them. But I am unable to figure it. I would really appreciate if someone could help !!

    One way that you could make it work (just tried it out again) is to use the windings font
    and use the checkboxes from there. However, you need to register the font with xml publisher. In the template builder for Word, you can put a configuration file under:
    C:\Program Files\Oracle\XML Publisher Desktop\Template Builder for Word\config
    (depnding on your installation). The file should have the name xdo.cfg or xdoconfig.xml.
    There is an example file: xdo example.cfg that you rename and change accoringly.
    The font is there setup for windows 2000 as an example. Select the correct font
    path - for my XP it is:
    <font family="Wingdings" style="normal" weight="normal">
    <truetype path="C:\WINDOWS\fonts\wingding.ttf" />
    </font>
    Then you can put the symbols into your RTF template and it will be rendered.
    At least it worked for me - with 5.6.2. (Availbable on Wednesday or Thursday), but
    I am pretty sure I tried it before with 5.5.
    Didn't have the 5.5 manual with me - so I have to check what that says again..

    Hello Cor-el Thanks for the advise, I checked a few things as you mentioned and it turned out that the ad-block add-on was preventing the pictures loading, very strange as it doen't do it anywhere else on pictures, but all rectified now.

    as far as i know , there will only button 'transfer response to purchase order'..

    I applied leave through ESS from portal(Employee login)employee sends a leave request sends good,
    and I got  Leave request(work items) Managers in box(uwl in Manager Login in portal).
    Manger Approve the leave request has been approved successfully.
    can I check whether leave request is processed in R/3.
    in tcode se38-RPTARQDBVIEW - UNDER leave request(Leave)->STATUS>COMPLETED,
    But in r/3 i execute the Tcode SBWP...
    here is no work items are not showing in outbox..

    it wont be shown in outbox of SBWP
    you need to check via SWIA or rptarqdbview or SWI5 for the user
    these are java based tasks so will be done in UWL. you can see only the tasks but after approval they are disappeared.
    The outbox shows the last 30 days by default. This default cannot be
    changed. This 30 days selection period is always set when you enter
    the outbox. However, the user can change the selection period by
    clicking the button 'Change selection period' on top of the grid
    control but this as you know will be reset once you log out.
    This is how the mapping from the
    backend workplace folders to the UWL tabs should work:
    UWL tab                        Backend folder
    Notifications                  Deadline Messages
    Tasks-> Completed Tasks        Outbox -> Workitems executed by me
    Tracking -> My Requests        Outbox -> Started Workflows
    Tracking -> Forwarded          Outbox -> Forwarded workitems
