  • SRM classic scenario with shopping cart

In a SRM classic scenario it's possible to create a shoping cart for material stock or it's only possible to create for indirect material (center cost, order, etc).

    Hi Carla
    yes. Indeed you need enhancement
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SRM/BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW-CreatePOin+backend
you need to clear the account assignment while creating a PO in the backend.
so PO will be created in the backend rather than in SRM .
but see impacts - how inventory gl accounts are posted while doing good receipt. Is it taking GL account from valuation class .
Hide the Order as direct too in SRM .
create one custome field in shopping cart to determine to order a PO in the backend (for stock materials) so when you check this field, this sc item PO will be created without account assignment.

  • PO Confirmation in SRM Classic Scenario

    Hi,
I'd like to know if there's a functionality in SRM Classic Scenario wherein suppliers/vendors can tag POs that have been received by them?

    Hello,
This is the correct behaviour of SUS - confirmations can only be created for service items which in turn create service entry sheets (Trx: ML81N in ECC).  And accepting the SES in ML81N will generate GR posting.
For material items, you have to create ASN which will in turn create inbound delivery in ECC which you can post and will generate goods movement documents.
So basically, for service items you create confirmation and for materials you create ASN.

  • SRM Classic Scenario & Invoicing Service Purchase Orders through SUS

    Hi everyone,
I hope I am able to provide enough information to ask this question.  We are running SRM Classic Scenario in addition to SUS.  We would like to be able to have our Vendors login to SUS and Invoice us.  However, we are being told that in order to do this we will need to install EHP4.  We are currently running ECC 6.  Could someone help me understand what it is exactly that we are not able to do this as is?   I understand that we are able to configure our current system setup to process Material related Invoices but not Services related invoices.
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Jellis,
Your vendors can send invoice from SUS but only for material POs (As you are not running ECC 6 with Ehp 4)
If you want the vendors to send you invoice for service POs also, then you need to go with Ehp 4 as service POs are not supported in SUS using IDOC technology. They need to be in XML format only.

  • SRM Classic Scenario Reporting

    Hi Experts,
We have implemented SRM 5.0 classic scenario and BI 7.0. i would like to know various reporting possibilites for shopping carts with backend PO.
One of the business requirement is to report on Shopping carts, respective PO information in the backend (ECC6.0), and PO history information like GR and IR posting etc.
I was able to identify the tables in SRM which has been updated with this information from the backend system ECC 6.0. My BI consultant is saying this cant be uploaded into BI system, since there is no change document is created, the delta process wont see the update. He is asking for change document creation, but I am not sure whether this is the right approach or best practise.
I am sure there should be standard practise and what are limitations of doing a full load every day for uploading the information into BI no matter what. I need your help to recommend a best solution

  • Change the standard XI content for SRM SUS scenario

    Hello everyone,
I am implementing the "Plan driven procurement with supplier integration" scenario which integrates the SAP R/3 and SRM-SUS.
I have imported the standard XI content available on service market place for the scenario.
Now i have to modify the scenario. I have to add some additional fields in the inbound message for purchase order request.
The proxy classes for these interfaces were already created in the SRM system.
So now after changing the message type what all things i shd take care of e.g like creating the proxy newly etc.
    Thanks and Regards
    Rahul Nawale

    Hi Shabarish,
Thanks for your reply, but i have a couple of more questions.
1.I can find a function module called from the method present in the proxy class generated.
    METHOD ii_bbpx1_preq_request_in~execute_asynchronous.
      CALL FUNCTION 'BBP_SAPXML1_EXTREQU_UPDATE_IN'
        EXPORTING
          is_purchreq_request = input.
    ENDMETHOD.
so since i am changing the purchase order request do i have to do any changes in the function module as well.
In the function module Proxy Structures are mapped to the API Structures and then the API is called using BBP_API_EXTREQU_UPDATE function module.
    Thanks and Regards

  • Unable to create confirmation/invoice in SRM,Classic Scenario

    Hi Guru's,
I am unable to create Confirmation/Invoice in the Portal, attached the screen shot of the error
its is the problem with the ADRC table, there is no entry in the table for the BP.
I tried to access the table via SM30 to add the entry in ADRC manually, I get a message table maintenance not defined

    Hi Kiran,
Could you please also advise whether all the users are not able to create the confirmation in portal. Or if there is any specific user who is not able to do that?
And I also request you to advise whether you going to do the invoice in SRM portal in classic scenario?
    Best Regards,

  • Message is not going to XI in SRM- MDM scenario

    hello,
    We are doing SRM_MDM scenario.
We have installed SRM-MDM Catalog 2.0 Business Contents on XI.
But i couldn't see any Outbound Interface in these standard contents.
I want xsd for CatalogPublicationRequest_Out.............. where will i get that (transaction) ???
Also when i execute the Report ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG in SRM, I could see my message( CatalogPublicationRequest_Out ) in SXMB_MONI of SRM.
But its not going to XI...............I can't see it in SXMB_MONI of XI.
That message in MONI of SRM have Sender but Receiver field is blank.
May be because of this is it not going to XI.
Please tell me the steps that i need to follow.
Help will be highly appreciated.............. its urgent
    Thanks in advance
    Maheshwari.

    Hi Hi Maheshwari,
Sap has shipped the preconfigured proxies for the transaction.
    ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG.
you can get the complete business Pack and related docs for SRM_MDM Catalog on the Service market place.
you need to Import of PI Business Content for SRM-MDM Catalog in Integration Repository
For that Place PI content file (XI_7_0_SRM_MDM_CATALOG_1.0_00_00.tpz) in directory “/usr/SAP/xid/sys/global/xi/repository_server/import”. This Content file can be found in Business content Import of PI Business Content for SRM-MDM Catalog in Integration Repository.
But first before importing above file.
You have to configure SLD Connections in which:
1.Defining Technical System for SRM Server, MDM and SAP PI.
2.Creating Business systems for SRM, PI and MDM
u also need to do Configuring Setup for ABAP Proxies:
    1. use Transaction SM59 for creating RFC destination for HTTP( TYPE H) where u Specify Host Name of the PI server, Service Number and Path Prefix  in Technical Settings tab.
    2. u also need to configure SRM System as Local Integration Engine. For this enter transaction SXMB_ADM .
    HOPE IT WORKS,
    Thanks,

  • XI SRM Integration Scenarios for ShoppingCart model

We've loaded the XI content for SRM (XI7_0_SRM_SERVER_7.xxxx) from the sap marketplace and reviewed the data types, messages, and interfaces. It appears there are no pre-built integration scenarios associated with a Shopping Cart model (Purchase Orders, Advance shipment notice, etc). Does a set of pre-built integration scenarios exist, or are these generally built manually? We are going to be pushing purchase orders from ECC to SUS in most of our scenarios. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Brian,
You will have to use the standard XI scenario - " Plan driven procurement with supplier enablement" for document exchange between ECC & SUS.
This will help u push ur PO's from ECC to SUS.
    Thanks

  • SRM/XI Scenarios

I'm looking for someone out there that has experience configuring XI to send out cXML Purchase Orders via HTTP created in SRM to Trading Partners and also to receive cXML Invoices via HTTP for these Purchase Orders into XI.
My questions are: How do you configure XI to receive and process the cXML responses that are sent back from the Trading Partners when they receive a Purchase Order? I know this needs to be a synchronous transaction through the same HTTP tunnel that the Purchase Order was sent through. Is it something that needs to be configured using BPM? Same thing for Invoices. What do I need to do in XI to send out a cXML response to the Trading Partner when I receive an invoice? Again, is BPM needed for this?

  • SRM standalone scenario

    Hi all,
I would appreciate ur help in the following area.
If I have a stand-alone SRM scenario with an ERP system as my backend system(currently being used for FI related tasks) and I wish to transfer all locally created PO's in SRM to the ERP system, what is the procedure/settings etc to be done?
Just like we have RFC connections & IDOCS in classic scenario for document transfer between SRM & ERP, I would like to know similar arrangements if any in stand-alone scenario.
I do not wish to use an extended classic scenario because of the limited functionality of SUS in extended classic.
    Thanks,
    Nikhil

    Hi Peter,
Thanks for ur response. However I had a question.
Will the modification of the function module BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC_V2 affect the SUS process ...as in once the documents are transferred to the backend will I be able to carry out my normal EBP-SUS in standalone scenario? Or will it become an extended classic scenario thereby restricting my SUS.
    Thanks,
    Nikhil

  • SRM/XI Scenario - How to send cXML Response?

    Hi Dave,
As far as I could see from our testing, SRM standard business content uses proxies to submit/receive the messages with XI. Unfortunately, the standard ones seem top be asynchroneous.
I believe the easiest for you would be to copy and change the standard message interfaces into synchroneous interfaces. I'm pretty sure you can call your own proxy in an exit to replace the standard call but the question is : what will you do with the response ? I'm unsure if you can 'transfer the response into something usefull on the SRM side ( something like a PPF status of the output message ) .
On XI, you can map the SRM proxy onto a synchroneous HTTP interface to send/receive with the partner ( and map into cXML ) : in this case you don't need BPM.
More or less the same story for the invoices : you would need to copy to a sync interface and pass the response from the standard SRM processing for the inbound invoice as a response to the proxy. On XI you can map it into a http response.
But do you think you will get 'business responses' into the http responses ? If you keep async on srm side and sync ( by defintion for http )  on partner side, an http 500 would result in an error in the interface and should be picked up by XI monitoring. Maybe there is a reason why SAP provides async proxies.
    Hope it helps

  • SRM Classic Scenario - What decides if shopping cart creates a PO or PR

    Hi,
In the classic implementation of self-service, how is it decided if the document created in ECC (after shopping cart approval) is a Purchase Order or a Purchase Requisition?
Is this through a technical solution ie., the PR or PO decision is based on the call to the BAPI that creates a PR or a PO?
If not then where in config is this aspect decided?

    hi
if you have assigned FIXED source of supply - PO will be created
if you dont assign any vendor / prefered vendor - PR will be created ( if no specific sourcing configured)
as masa said you can control the follow on documents in the define backend Objects.....
