SRRELROLES and SRGBINREL tables and Document flow in PM notifications
Hi Folks,
I was wondering if anyone has run across this before. Currently we are having problems in our 4.6B system when it comes to doing Document flow from a Plant Maintenance Notification. We have found the certain notifications are linked to the SRRELROLES and SRGBINREL tables and others are not. The notifications that are not linked to the tables perform the document flow and we get the correct results. The ones that have entries in the table just hang and no result is ever displayed. They system times out after about 2 1/2 hours or we have to stop the transactions to get out.
Does anybody know what the relationship is between these two tables and how postings are made to them? Any clue as to how to resolve our hanging problem?
Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks you in advance.
Joe
Hello Joe,
I am facing a problem regarding the table SRRELROLES . My problem is reverse that due to absense of the document in this table my function module (bbp_pd_objrel_read_via_ref) fails.
If you had found any information about your issue could you please share with me?
thanks in advance

Hi,
I have a Sales Order. For this Sales Order i Created a Puchase Order.I made a Goods Reciept and an Account Document is created. Can any one tell the table where i can see the Document flow for this Order? I tried VBFA...but i can see only Purchase Order against the Sales Order. Thanks in Advance.
Challa.VBFA is document flow for SD.
To find receipt for purchase order, look at EKBE with key purchase order Nr and event type VGABE = '1' Goods receipt
Then to find accounting document, you need to look to BKPF header table with keys AWTYP Reference procedure 'MKPF' and AWKEY Object key (Nr + year)

Cut and paste tables and charts from Acrobat Pro 8?
With earlier versions of Acrobat Pro, I could cut and paste charts and tables from .pdf documents into Word. Now that doesn't seem to be working. Help!
Selecting all does not help - the issue is I need a table within an incoming email to be moved to excel, edited and then pasted back into a new email. "Select All" picks up the email headers, signatures, any messages around the table etc so that doesn't work. Also, as pointed out above Excel doesn't have a select all feature to get the tables back into the body of an email.
I just tried again going from Excel into Outlook 2011. No luck. All one column down the left side of the email. All columns are removed and text crammed into one column. Just to check I cut from one Excel document and pasted into another and it retained all formating just fine. It is only in and out of Outlook that seems to be the issue. -
Difference between Temp table and Variable table and which one is better performance wise?
Hello,
Anyone could you explain What is difference between Temp Table (#, ##) and Variable table (DECLARE @V TABLE (EMP_ID INT)) ?
Which one is recommended to use for better performance?
also Is it possible to create CLUSTER and NONCLUSTER Index on Variable table?
In my case: 1-2 days transactional data are more than 3-4 Millions. I tried using both # and table variable and found table variable is faster.
Is that Table variable using Memory or Disk space?
Thanks Shiven:) If Answer is Helpful, Please VoteCheck following link to see differences b/w TempTable & TableVariable: http://sqlwithmanoj.com/2010/05/15/temporary-tables-vs-table-variables/
TempTables & TableVariables both use memory & tempDB in similar manner, check this blog post: http://sqlwithmanoj.com/2010/07/20/table-variables-are-not-stored-in-memory-but-in-tempdb/
Performance wise if you are dealing with millions of records then TempTable is ideal, as you can create explicit indexes on top of them. But if there are less records then TableVariables are good suited.
On Tables Variable explicit index are not allowed, if you define a PK column, then a Clustered Index will be created automatically.
But it also depends upon specific scenarios you are dealing with , can you share it?

I have been producing a VI that loads a set of data and displays it in a table: A table control is initialised with an empty variable, the loaded data takes the place of the variable and fills the table, while some headers are added. That table feeds an intensity graph to give a pictorial impression of the data.
With this scheme, a user can change any value of the table, and the changes are interactively reflected on the graph.
Problem: after few saving of the VI, the access to the table doesn't work anymore. It is the same with all my numerical controls in the VI where it should be possible to enter a value.
If anybody has an idea on the potential
causes of these problem, I would be really grateful as it is very useful...when it works !
Regards,
Elie AllouisI can not image what is causing the error. Would you be willing to post some code to see if we can reproduce the problem?

Document flow in quality notification - IDOCs visible
Hi Experts,
In document flow view for quality notifications IDocs from sales order are visible.
These idocs are Item based, so in case of multiple items of sales order numerous idocs are visible which make the document flow view more complex. Also one sales order can be changed several times, which results in to several idocs for each line.
Please suggest how can we show the Updated IDOCS only. Are there any Exits or enhancements to achive the same.
Thanks,

What is document flow for particulr document?and how it will be configured?
give me answ with detiled steps to configure document flow
Hi
The business cycle has different processes and each process will have a different documents to record the events/details of the activities about that activity. This is there even if the process happens manually.
It helps you to know the status of an order - ie., that particular order is in which stage of the business cycle.
As told in the above reply, the copy controls helps to link the documents and the field UPDATE DOCUMENT FLOW enables updating the preceding documents. The table that stores the document flow is VBFA and you can also see the document flow from any document by clicking the icon 'document flow'.
Thanks,

Hello,
I am new in SAP trying to upgrade some existing code. I am looking for information concerning the DRAW and DRAZ tables and their benefits.
any help is highly appreciated.
Thank youHi ,
DRAW is main Doument Info Record Table for Document Management system Module.
When you create a document Thru CV01N the doucment is updated in table DRAW and other tables .When you attach an file or an attachment to the documnet that information is stored in table DRAZ.
If you want to know more tables you transaction SARA and enter object name CV_DVS you will get a list of tables.
Please reward if useful . -

Difference between the Field Group and Internal Table.
Hi all,
Can anybody tell me the difference between the Field group and Internal table and when they will used?
Thanks,
Sriram.Hi
Internal Tables: They are used to store record type data in tabular form temporarily in ABAP programming. Or we can say, it stores multiple lines of records for temporary use in ABAP programming.
A field group is a user-defined grouping of characteristics and basic key figures from the EC-EIS or EC-BP field catalog.
Use
The field catalog contains the fields that are used in the aspects. As the number of fields grows, the field catalog becomes very large and unclear. To simplify maintenance of the aspects, you can group fields in a field group. You can group the fields as you wish, for example, by subject area or responsibility area. A field may be included in several field groups.
When maintaining the data structure of an aspect, you can select the field group that contains the relevant characteristics and basic key figures. This way you limit the number of fields offered.

Check table and value table -Example
Hi Experts
Please give me the step by step procedure to create the check table and value table, and how to work on it.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
RajaramHi
Check Table is for Field level Validation whereas Value table is for Domain Level Validations.
Value Table proposes table for check table.
I think you are clear with this.
more elaborate.
Check Table
The Check Table is the table used by system to check if a data exist or not exist.
While creating a table if you want to be sure that a field can have some values
and these are in a certain table, you can give IT this table as CHECK TABLE.
Value Table
This is maintained at Domain Level.
When ever you create a domain , you can entered allowed values. For example you go to Domain SHKZG - Debit/credit indicator.
Here only allowed values is H or S.
When ever you use this Domain, the system will forces you to enter only these values.
This is a sort of master check . .
To be maintained as a customization object.
This mean that if you want to enter values to this table you have to create a development request & transport the same.
Differences:
1)check table will carry out the check for input values for the table field being entered in any application
and value table will provide values on F4 help for that table field.
2)The check table defines the foreign keys and is part of the table definition.
The value table is part of the domain definition.
check table is validation at field level.
value table is at domain level.
Value table is defined at the domain level and is used to provide F4 help for all the fields which refer to that domain.
Check table is defined against a field in SE11 if you want the values in that field to be checked against a list of valid values. For e.g. if you are using the field matnr in a table you could define MARA as the check table.
Also while defining a check table SAP proposes the value table as check table by default. Referring to the previous example if you tried to define a check table for the matnr field SAP would propose MARA as the check table.
1. what is the purpose / use ?
-- so that the user can select values
from some master table , for that field !!!!
2. This is done by
CHECK TABLE (foreign key concept)
(and not value table)
3. When we create a check table for a field,
then
some DEFAULT table is PROPOSED
4. that DEFAULT table is nothing
but PICKED up from the domain of that field,
and shown from the value of VALUE TABLE.
CHECK TABLE -it is a parent table.
for example..
i have two tables ZTAB1 and ZTAB2.
I have one common field in both the tables,i can make any ztable to be the check table .If i make Ztab1 to be the check table then when i have to make an entry in ztab2 i will check whether ztab1 is having that value or not..
its also field level checking..
Valuetable-It is nothing but default check table.
one parent can have n number of child tables. For example
For ztable we have zchild1 and zchild2 tables r there.
Its domain level checking..When zchild2 uses the same domain as used by zchild1 then the system automatically generates a popup saying a check table already exists would u want to maintain it.
go to domain and then press the value tab u can see the valuetable at the end...

How to arrive to a billing plan in FPLT table with project ID or WBS ID in PRPS table.
Thanks,
VaishnaviHi
I hope there is no common element in both tables..extract the mile stone data from FPLT and MLST tables and then WBS element data from PRPS and MLST tables (first two gives the mile stone and next two tables gives the WBS element to which mile stone is attached)..
