/SSA/BWT Report stopped working

Folks, We have installed few patches ST-PI 2008_1_700: Add-On Upgrade over the weekend, I can see the program /SSA/BWT is active but I am unable to execute this for Process chain analysis. I tried generating the program as well but no luck. How do I make this program work again?
Please share your thoughts.
Thanks,
KK

Our basis resolved this issue - Certain /SSA/BWT Program code need to uncommented as per the procedure after addon implementation.
Thanks,
KK

  • EVDRE reports stopped working though data in BI

    Hello Experts,
I had created some reports in EVDRE, they were working perfectly fine for few days but all of a sudden they stopped working for me. When I "Expand All", everything clears out and all I have is a blank sheet. I checked the BI, data is there in the backend. The same reports are working on other users' machines but not for me; I tired logging in with my details on a colleague's machine and the report works. Then it stopped working on another user's machine also. I can understand if some report gets corrupted but then it should be for all the users. I am clue less.
Will be grateful for all guidance.

    Hi Gurus,
I have checked the AppSet status and I have administrator rights.
As i said the report was working with my login at another user's system but after a few days stopped working for him also. Its like EVDRE reports refuse to work smoothly after sometime.
I have read on SDN where people are saying EVDRE reports stopped working after sometime and they had to create new reports.
Request you to share your experiences where EVDRE has been running for say 2+ years. Does EVDRE work as expected for long periods of time or they are unstable?

  • Crystal Report stop working after one month

    Hi all,
I have downloaded crystal reports 2008 for SAP business one from the SAP service market place on 01.11.2008 and installed at customer site on 21.12.2008. We also developed and delivered 6 report template to customer using it.
These all 6 reports were working fine till yesterday.Suddenly from today morning (21.01.2009-exact one month after installation) all these 6 reports has stopped working.
Can anyone tell, why it is behaving like this ?

I uninstalled and reinstalled the Reporting role from the SCCM server but that doesn't seem to have resolved the issue, any suggestions?

Ok so I am in the same boat as a number of you and I have an account called reportsuser which is used to generate the ConfigMgr reports. Following RundG's suggestion I added the reportsuser to the local policy to Allow log on locally and then I restarted
the report server and I get the same results. I tried a number of other things including adding the sysadmin SQL role to the reportsuser and adding the reportsuser to the local Administrators group for the server hosting SQL and nothing has resolved this issue
for me. I need to be able to run reports again so I need some additional guidance.
I looked at my SRSRP.LOG and found no errors there so as far as ConfigMgr is concerned the communication between the Reporting Server and CM is fine. I also checked the site: http://servername/Reportserver and it shows that Reporting Server is running but
if I logged on to the page with reportsuser I can't see any reports. When I logon using my smsadmin account I can at least see reports but when I attempt to access one I get the following:
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted) Cannot impersonate user for data source 'DataSource1'. (rsErrorImpersonatingUser) Log on failed. Ensure the user name and password are correct. (rsLogonFailed)
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
which in turn created this log entry:

  • Rwrun reports stop working after a period of time using a job scheduler

Hello, I am having a strange issue. We use either Control-M or Windows Task scheduler to run a VBS script that calls rwrun to generate multiple reports for multiple properties. Initially everything worked without issues then after about 2 months the VB Script running through Control-M started Failing. I could still run them from command line on the same server without Issues. So I set them up in Windows Task Scheduler and again they worked for about 3 weeks then started to Fail. Again I could still run the same scripts from command line on the server and have no issues. So we moved the scripts to another App server and went back to Control-M. This time after about 3 months the jobs started to fail. Moved them to Windows TS and again after about 1 week they started to fail. The TRACEALL shows nothing but I am getting this error in the hs_err_pidxxxx.log files that it creates. Does anyone know if some type of Temp location needs to be cleared or what my issue might be? Stumped at this point. Also point out the the servers were rebooted and no patches or modifcations where done to them before they start to fail. Thanks for any suggestions.

I realize this is an old post, however I've had the exact same issue over the last week with the same UTL.dll showing in the hs_err_pidxxxx file.
Our VB6 app ran as a Windows 2003 scheduled task for almost two years before stopping all of a sudden. It ran fine when logged on, but would fail when we logged off. The task would run, but the program would fail. While we never did get the scheduled task working properly, I did find an alternate solution.
Instead of using rwrun.exe I updated the code in our app to use rwclient.exe. The command for rwrun and rwclient are very similar with rwclient requiring a server= setting.

  • APPCRASH - "Crystal Reports has stopped working"- windows message

    Hi,
I had installed Crystal reports 2008 using valid license keycode on Windows Server 2008 machine ( crystal software not registered it in Sap portal for additional support)  This was used for crystal reports development in .Net for few days, After 1 month or little more , the crystal reports stopped working and when launched from Start -> Programs -> Crystal Reports 2008 displayed a windows error message " Crystal Reports has stopped working ".
Following is the details about Problem from windows message
    Problem Event name: APPCRASH
    Application name: crw32.exe
    Application version : 12.0.0.683
    Fault Module Name: x2rpclB5.dll
    Exception Code : c0000005
    OS Version : 6.0.6001.2.1.0.274.10
I Uninstalled and reinstalled the application with valid license keycode and registered as well, but still the error remains same when the application is started.
Kindly suggest on how to resolve this issue.

Please note that this forum is dedicated to topics related to custom application development or deployment with Crystal Reports in .Net. This includes full versions of Crystal Reports as well as those versions of Crystal Reports bundled with Microsoft Visual Studio .Net.
    Reports design, Crystal Reports (exe) installation and other issues should be posted to the [Report Design forum|SAP Crystal Reports;
Now, looking up the DLL,(x2rpclB5.dll) it appears to be a Xerox printer driver(?). You mention that this started to happen recently, so the question would be; was a Xerox printer driver installed? Also, see if either uninstalling the printer driver or installing any available updates fomr Xerox will resolve the issue.

  • Siebel 8117 and BIP Multilingual reports not working.....

    Hello,
We went live with Siebel 8113 and BIP. We have Siebel Reports configured in 4 languages and the choosing the language and locale on report generation pick applet worked fine with correct translated report coming out.
We have upgraded Siebel to 8117.
Reports stopped working. Applied 8117 related BIP objects(only repository objects and seed data - ACR 719B) then default language, ENU, reports worked fine. But other languages are still generating ENU reports.
Applied QF0703 in Tools (It has SIEBEL_BIP_8117 Extension SIF) and deployed the SRF.
Only two things from 8117 BIP related items we missed.
    a) EIM Table related schema changes. This is of no use for us as we don't use EIM.
    b) LMU files were not imported into tools. Each time I tried to import an LMU, it gives an error that site "http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/xliff/DTD" is an invalid site. On checking in browser found that it should be https and changed it in one language XLIFF. Once the transport changed to http, comes an error that the patch is invalid".
Not sure what is the importance of LMU OR how to get around it.
    Any suggestions are appreciated.

  • After Change .xsd File, Report Stops Woring

I modified the .xsd file to add a new datatable, then my report stops working.
I use Visual Studio 2010, and the project is an ASP .NET web app.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks.

    Hi Y2011,
According to your description, there is a web app project, after you modified .xsd file, the report stopped working.
To troubleshoot the problem, please refer to the following steps:
    Stop Debugging.
After making changes to the query in the .xsd file(Adding, removing or changing fields).
In design mode, click View in menu, then click Report Date, then Report Data pane on the left of the screen opens
Right-click the dataset used to retrieve data for the report.
    Click Refresh.
Click Save to save the .rdlc file.
Debug the report by running the Default.aspx page or page that generates the report.
If the problem remain unresolved, I would be appreciate that if you could detail information about the error message and steps you modified the .xsd file, by collecting the information, it will help us move more quickly toward a solution.
    Thanks,

Hi, did you get this working? I'm really struggling to get up and running on 2008 R2, the CMS service just refuses to connect to the database. It also looks like the database wasn't created properly during the install. I set it up on an MSDE database, and when I look at it with sql management studio the database is there but there aren't any tables or anything else
Can anyone either confirm or deny that its possible to run Crystal XI on 2008 R2?
The error I'm getting when trying to start the service is:
The root server reported an error Initialization Failure. (Reason: Unable to connect to the database using the provided connection string. Reason: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified).
I've confirmed that the ODBC connections work (both 32 bit and 64 bit) via the built in test, but Crystal for some reason isn't happy

Start PSE to get to the Welcome screen.
Hold down the Ctrl + Shift keys and click Organizer. Keep holding down the keys until you see the Catalog window.
Select your catalog and click Repair.  Select “repair anyway” even if PSE doesn’t find problems.
Then for good measure, click Optimize.
If repairing resolves your issue then fine else repeat the above steps, but click New to create a new catalog.  If you’re able to import photos into the new catalog and the Organizer works fine, then problem can be old catalog.
Check for Task Manager and end the "ElementsAutoAnalyzer.exe" file and then try.
    - Try launching Organizer directly from the exe with Admin rights.

We have JDK 1.6 installed.  The License Merge Module is not related to
    this issue.
    The files under \Program Files\Common Files\Business
    Objects\3.0\crystalreportviewers11\prompting  are not being installed.
If we copy files, into this folder structure the reports work.
One of the Business Object's Merge Modules should install the files
there rather than just an empty folder structure.
I got was able to figure out how to enter a customer support message.
They said that they could not support us because we were not on CRXIR2
    (Crystal Reports 11 Release 2).
I found a download for CRXIR2SP4 (same thing service pack 4).
I installed it the Merge Module names changed to include a "_5"
    Was:
    CrystalReports11_RDC_Reportengine.msm
    CrystalReports11_RDC_Runtime.msm
CrystalReports11_HotFix_Merge.msm (This is contrived by us from one of
    your hot fixes)
    Now:
    CrystalReports11_5_RDC_Reportengine.msm
    CrystalReports11_5_RDC_Runtime.msm
    CrystalReports11_5_RDC_License.msm (should have been included)
    *CrystalReports11_HotFix_Merge.msm (not needed anymore)
I will try to put a installer together with these.  If this work there
will be some complexity around uninstalling the old one and installing
    the new one.
