SSAS 2014: Move data directory removes administrators

If I change the location of the data directory in SSAS 2014 (using Management Studio, properties), when the service is restarted the new data directory is populated but no one is granted server admin rights on analysis services. If I change the INI
file to point back to the original data directory, the administrator accounts reappear.
Am I missing something or is this a bug? I've not tried to do this in other versions of SQL Server so don't know if this is consistent behavior but from reading posts, it does not appear to be so.

According to your description, after moved the data directory of the SQL Server Analysis Services 2014, the admin permissions for user were removed, right?
We have tested it on the tested environment (Microsoft SQL Server 2012 SP1), we cannot reproduce this issue. And based on my research, it seems no one had encountered this issue on other version. So in your scenario, please ensure that the operations when

you just have to remove the Photoshop cc from the add or remove program in the control panel

OwnCloud server: Move data dir to other partition, enable ssl

Hi,
I am using apache and subversion with ssl works just fine, everything configured according to the wiki.
I now set up owncloud server and it works fine on port 80. I want to run it on port 443 over SSL, but I do not know what needs to be added to /etc/httpd/conf/extra/owncloud.conf. Additionaly, I would like the owncloud server to be accessed via a subpath, like localhost/owncload instead of the localhost root dir (in order not to conflict it with svn, which is found at localhost/svn).
The second thing which needs to be fixed is that owncloud shall not store the user files in root partition at /usr/share/webapps/owncloud/data, but in another ext4 partition. I tried creating a symlinkto remove the data folder and create a symlink to a folder on another partition (also did chown http:http there), but owncloud complained about missing data directory then. Moving the whole owncloud directory to another partition and adjusting the paths in owncloud.conf failed too (403). Any idea how to fix that?
This is what my owncloud.conf file looks like right now:

I would suggest you remove the Include extra/owncloud.conf and instead put the contents of owncloud.conf directly in httpd.conf, it makes managing it easier.
In owncloud.conf there should be a section something like
<IfModule mod_alias.c>
Alias /cloud /usr/share/webapps/owncloud/
</IfModule>
If that's there, mydomain.com/cloud will point to OwnCloud, so you can comment out the entire VirtualHost part. Then it won't take over the root directory but it will still be accessible via /cloud.
You can put configuration options in the Directory /usr/share/webapps/owncloud part.
To use it on a different drive, I *think* you could just copy /usr/share/webapps/owncloud to the other drive and change the directory to the new one wherever it appears in owncloud.conf. I don't have a second drive to test it on, but that should work.

Steady Stream of "Searching for movie data in the file..." Error Messages

My iMovie has been crippled by error messages that pop up whenever I try to accomplish anything in iMovie. I always see "Searching for movie data in the file 'healyintro.mov'" for a few minutes, then "The movie file 'healyintro.mov' cannot be found. Without this file, the movie cannot play properly." I cannot actually use iMovie because of these errors.
I've tried everything from reinstalling iMovie to removing application support files to removing my iMovie Events and iMovie Projects folders to creating a .mov file, calling it healyintro.mov and seeing if that'll shut iMovie up – nothing works.
Once in a while, iMovie will ask for a different movie file, with the same problem.
Any ideas?

I am having the same issue. I don't know what the previous poster means by allowing the system to continue, since I'm prompted with a "Cancel" / "Search" dialog after each missing clip. Slight digression: "Search" is not even the correct term here according to UI guidelines ("Choose" or "Locate" might be better choices given the file picker dialog that results).
I'm actually using Aperture to relocate my video masters on removable media, which is a very nice feature of Aperture, but completely breaks iMovie unless it's connected. Seems like a pretty major oversight.... can we just have it fail more gracefully here and allow us to work with new stuff without getting hung up on missing movie clips from the past?

When you export, try to get the full file path or else you will have to do a lot of manual searching.
If you downloaded the picture from Messages, the picture is stored in your User Library/Messages. to make your User Library visible, hold down the option key while using the Finder “Go To Folder” command. Enter ~/Library/Messages/Attachments.
If you prefer to make your user library permanently visible, use the Terminal command found below.

You might want to bookmark the command. I had to use it again after I installed 10.8.4. I have also been informed that if you drag the user library to Finder it will remain visible.

HADR Solution for SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) 2014 on Azure Iaas

Hi All
I am required to build a HA/DR solution for SQL Server and SSAS 2014 on Azure. So far I could build AlwaysOn high availability solution for SQL Server on Azure but haven't found any solution for SSAS.
Failover Clustering is not an option on azure because of the restriction of not been able to use shared storage. We also determined that the cost savings of using SQL + the cost of the 3rd Party replication tool was a wash (ie no real cost savings).
Any lead on this would be appreciated.

A clustered implementation of SSAS can be configured in Microsoft Azure. Such a configuration would need to meet all the requirements stated in the following document including Active Directory and storage.

OwnCloud: data directory as a symbolic link

Hey has anyone gotten this working. Owncloud works fine when the data directory in usr/share/webapps/owncloud is used, but when I change 'data' to a symlink to /mnt/warehouse/share/owncloud/data all I get is a blank screen upon connecting to my server.
Owncloud works fine if I revert the symlink back to a true directory.

I have /mnt/warehouse/share/owncloud/data in the open_basedir option in php.ini as well as httpd.conf. (In addition to /usr/share/webapps/owncloud and /srv/http/owncloud).
The user/group of /mnt/warehouse/share/owncloud are http:http and permissions are 770.
I must be missing something obvious as I can't seem to find anything out there. Any suggestions?

Thank you, Yeah I have tried doing that. Both from the very beginning when owncloud prompts you to set up an admin account and database server (and data dir), as well as changing it in config.php after the intial set up, as well as replacing the data dir with a symlink to my preferred location. The result is the same, a blank page on server connect. Whether I have the data directory configured specifically in config.php, or as a symlink, the error message is the same.
I will give it another try, configuring a non-standard data directory from the initial set up, but pretty sure the result will be the same.
I feel like this must somehow be an apache config or php config issue, but I'm not too well versed with either.
I am using the non-aur package, and followed the wiki instructions for setting up the lamp/owncloud.

First loginto SQLPLUS, findout on which tablespace TC1.DATA1 belongs then make that tablespace offline
SQL>alter tablespace <tablespace name> offline;
then create a directory TC1_1 in G:\oracle\TC1\sapdata1\, copy the datafile E:\ORACLE\TC1\SAPDATA1\TC1_1\TC1.DATA1 to G:\ORACLE\TC1\SAPDATA1\TC1_1\TC1.DATA1
then
SQL>Alter tablwspace <tablespace name> rename datafile 'E:\ORACLE\TC1\SAPDATA1\TC1_1\TC1.DATA1' to 'G:\ORACLE\TC1\SAPDATA1\TC1_1\TC1.DATA1' ;
SQL>Alter tablespace <tablespace name> online;

Move Data from Converted Database Objects Successfully Finish ?

I am using SQL Developer 3.2.20.09 try to migrate KSMMS database from SQL Server 2008 to Oracle 11g R2. After the migration process is done, the Captured Database Objects model, and Converted Database Objects model have been created in the Migration Projects Navigator panel on the left side, and the corresponding sql scripts has been generated in the project output directory. I run the sql scripts, it created all the tables, views, index and stored procedures in the oracle database, everything seems working perfectly. However when I try to Move Data (by right clicking Converted Database Objects) and try to move all the data from SQL Server to Oracle database, the Data moving process run less then 1 minute, and show me the result as Data Move successfully. I have about 1 GB data in the SQL Server database, it seems nothing has been moved into Oracle DB. Here are the detail structures of MS SQL Server Database which I am trying to migrate to Oracle:
The SQL Server Database name is KSMMS, under that database there are 9 users (azteca, cwweb, dbo, guest, plladmin, pw, pwadmin, tbills, wsdadmin). All my application objects (tables, views, indexes, procedures) are under azteca user, during the migration process, Converted Database Objects creates user azteca_KSMMS and dob_KSMMS, all my application objects have been created under azteca_KSMMS user schema. The generated .sql scripts actually can create all the objects under azteca_KSMMS schema, however when I try to Move Data, nothing has been moved into Oracle database. I opened an SR#3-6708733861 last Friday, it seems Oracle Support can't find what cause the problem during the Data Move process. Any help regarding my questions will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

I changed Data Move Mode to Online and run the Data Move again. Same Results: Migration action have completed successfully. However no records have been moved into Oracle tables.
I am running SQL Developer under Windows 8 Operation system. There is no Oracle client software available for Windows 8, does that cause any problems?

Move Users Directory

I'm currently running out of hard disk space and would like to keep the existing internal hard drive intact for software. I've purchased an external drive that I plan to have on when the computer powers on. I called Apple support and they didn't have any solutions to move my Users directory to another volume. They told me it wasn't possible. Their solution to my problem was to just add an external drive and just randomly move data to it whenever my main hard disk gets full. This is messy and a very windows-like solution and will make migrating to a new mac painful. Not very happy I paid for Applecare and found better support from Google, but I digress. I came here for real support.
I've found a number of guides, but none were up to date on this topic and were for 10.5 or earlier. I'm currently running 10.6. I know the main steps but wanted to verify the proper flags for ditto.
1. Setup and format new disk, mount it to /Volumes/newdisk
2. copy data (this is where I get a little confused due to different guides.
ditto -V /Users/username /Volumes/newdisk/Users/username
3. In the system preferences, visit accounts, control + click the username and edit the home directory field with /Volumes/newdisk/Users/username
4. logout / login
Does this sound like a sane solution?
According to the ditto manpage the --rsrcFork has been depreciated to --rsrc and is the default behavior, grabbing all meta-data. The -V flag just verboses everything.

What you plan should work, though as Kappy says CCC would be an easier way to do the copy. However, the reason that Apple support recommended against this is that it makes things needlessly complicated. If you have problems down the line and need assistance, it's almost a guarantee that the first thing you'll hear when you describe your setup is "Oh, try moving your user folder back to the boot drive and see if the problem goes away."
Instead, make a plan as to what data you want to store on the external drive and just move that data there. For example, video, audio and photo files are typically large and can be moved to the external drive without moving the entire user folder. This keeps things simple and allows you to potentially move that hard drive to another computer without compromising the integrity of your iMac, among other potential advantages.

As usual, I entered some inputs in FM screen, then Saved-Floppy them, the system prompted me, to give some name, I hv given <b><i>my_s_cust_#_1000000</i></b> name. So, its stored in TEST DATA DIRECTORY. I hv been used it from TEST DATA DIRECTORY for my trials.
So, now, I wanna to move my_s_cust_#_1000000 to TEST system, How?

Data files removed during language import

Hi,
While running a language import on ECC 6.0, someone removed the data files from the /usr/sap/trans/data directory.
We are facing 2 problems now :
1. the language that must be imported is now locked in SMLT (no lock exists in SM12 as described in help)
2. we can't find how to recreate the datafile from the .PAT file located on the install DVD. (some people have told me they did it before, but can't find back how)
Can someone please help ?

That article is about using your iPod as an external hard drive, to move files from one computer to another computer. It is not related to your question.
You can't use iTunes to move song files from iPod to computer, except for songs you purchased from the iTunes Store (and you can also re-download purchases). However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can move song files from iPod to computer. If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
Once the song files are on your current computer, add them to that computer's iTunes library by dragging the files (or folder containing the files) to the iTunes window. After confirming everything is there (and fixing the data issue you mentioned) you can sync the iPod. You may want to do a Restore on the iPod, if it might have a data corruption issue, which will erase the iPod's hard drive, re-install the latest software, and set it to defautl settings.

Launch Disk Utility, open the built-in help, and search for the term "Duplicate." Follow the instructions. Turn Time Machine OFF in its preference pane while copying the volume.
