SSI Button in CS6 12.1?

Greetings,
After all the changes in 12.1 and the complete reset of the UI. I see the SSI button has been removed from the common toolbar. (I hate the monochromatic buttons - you can barely see them or differentiate on a large monitor. Just my 2 cents. I have already filed a change request with Adobe.)
Does anyone know how to get the button back or to add it to the favorites bar? It was so much easier just to use it and browse to the include file instead of using the PHP functions. I cannot for the life of me find it under the menus.

If it's PHP includes that you want, the Include and Require SSI options are still available in the PHP section of the Insert panel.
To browse for the file, add an opening quote inside the parentheses, right-click, and select Code Hint Tools > URL Browser from the context menu. This displays a Browse button. Click that to browse for your file.
To speed things up, you could create a keyboard shortcut for URL Browser. It's listed in the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog box under Menu Commands. Look in Edit > Code Hint Tools.

SSI and DW CS6

I'm editing an SSI file on DW CS6, but I cannot seem to use the split view with code and design. It only shows me the code view. I was able to do code and design view when I was using CS3. Can someone help with this?

Load the page that includes the SSI into Dreamweaver. You should then be able to access the SSI through the Related Files toolbar or by selecting the include in Design view and clicking the Edit button in the Property inspector.

Encore CS6 includes new options that provide more flexibility when you play chapter playlists:
Sequential: Play chapter playlists sequentially.
Random: Let the player randomly select a set of chapters to play.

I got my adobe cs6 extended and i cant find my 3d button anyone help me ?
My Computer Specs :
Manufacturer : Packard Bell
Processor : AMD Athlon (tm) II X2 220 Processor 2.80 GHz
Memory : 4GB (RAM)
System Type : 64 Bit Operating System ( Window 7)
i have tried going to edit : preferences and see if the graphics box is ticked and it is ticked ( Use Graphics Processor) and my graphics is GeForce 9200/integrated/SSE2

In Premiere CS6, I noticed there is not a Mark In (I) button only the Mark Out (O) in the source monitor. Am I missing something? CS5 had it....

Press the + button on the bottom right to add them if they are not there.

CS6 Shy Button Problem

Is anyone else having issues with the shy button in cs6? when I click the button on a layer, it pops off (as it should), then pops bck on again...never seen this issue before.

Kick off SSIS master package once new data gets into a transactional table

hello
I have a SSIS master package.. I also have an UI which the user uses to configure up some date ranges (that I need to use to load the data from the package). After date configuration, when user clicks on RUN SSIS button in UI, that configured data gets loaded
up in a transactional db table. Once new data is entered into that table, i need to kick off this master SSIS package.
Question is , is there any other method besides using table triggers?

Another method is to have a automated job created in SQL Agent which keeps on polling the transactional table. you can configure it to run periodically (may be every 30 mins etc). Each time it starts it needs to check the status of a table which captures
details of whether user has pressed RUN SSIS button (you need to include that logic in UI to set a bit in a status table when button is pressed). If status is set, it will check if transactional table has data (IF EXISTS(SELECT 1 FROM Table)). Once these two
are truw it will go to next step where it calls master package. At the end it needs to log somewhere that data transfer is completed and also need to reset the bit field as well.
So job will have three steps
Step1: check bit is set and table has data
ie
IF (SELECT bitField FROM StatusTable)=1 AND EXISTS(SELECT 1 FROM TTable)
SELECT 1
ELSE
RAISERROR 'Table not ready',16,1
and set job advanced option as
quit job reporting success for failure condition and go to next step for success condition
Step2: Execute master package
Step3: rest status bit and update daya transfer status in a log table with date of run,record count etc

Marquee shrinks when releasing mouse button

I am editing at 100%, with square pixels, and no feather.
EVERY time I release the mouse button in CS6 (fully updated), the Info window shows the marquee dimenstions shrink by either 1 or 2 pixels (and I see the marquee visibly move as well). This make it IMPOSSIBLE to accurately to certain kinds of editing. I have to go back to my old CS3 to be as productive! (Current workaround: edit at 200%... but I can't see all I need that way.)
I am definitely not moving the mouse, because a) it is EVERY time, b) it is never more than 2 pixels, c) it is always a shrink, not an increase, and d) I use a trackpad: my finger is off the pad and no movement is possible, then I let go of the button and the numbers change.
Is there some workaround/fix, or is this just another bug?

I have now re-tested on a 2013 round Mac Pro D700, OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 (the latest).... and with TWO versions of Photoshop newer! PS CC 2014.
The exact problem remains in Photoshop CC 2014, albeit not all the time. (I guess that's progress?) But often enough to harm productivity, and it means I have to carefully watch and remember the XY numbers to use the marquee tool. It's nice and accurate before the mouse button is released... it just needs to KEEP the same values on release, and it shouldn't be difficult to insure that's the case. But it sometimes shrinks them.
Increase the zoom higher, and the problem happens less, but still sometimes. Zoom in far enough (300–400%) and the marquee tool starts to work reliably--except then I can't see the whole image I'm trying to select.
Also (related?) I have a retina (high DPI) display and the marquee isn't rendering accurately even before release: it's shifted by one retina pixel up or down. This is most obvious at 200% zoom, where you try to select full pixels and see them cut in half instead.
There's no justification for using different math (?) the moment the button lets go. This is a really basic tool, and I pay every month for it.... but the years go by with no fix. The software that charges my credit card seems reliable at least
Who should I contact to suggest the marquee tool be made to function at 100% zoom? Do I have any recourse available when a bug remains in three consecutive years of Photoshop? (I know the answer: choose a new career.)

Bridge menu no longer working

I can no longer use the camera raw menu button or rotate buttons in CS6 bridge. Also for many TIFF photos, I get the TiFF logo rather than the photo.
These two problems began that at the same time after I shut down the PS and Bridge in the usual way and then later opened them again. They worked fine for several months and suddenly they no longer work.

Downloaded Library Content still not showing up

Okay, so in the middle of a huge project I was watching a online tutorial on Encore CS6 about building a dvd menu. Well, the guy goes to his library and has all kinds of options for pre-made menus and buttons etc. etc. These buttons are missing for me.
I do some research and find out that for some stupid reason without letting you know Adobe requires you to download the button and(CS6 Functional Content)premade menus apart from my original CS6 download. Okay fine. I download the 1.1 gb file, install it, restart Encore, pull up my project and guess what? Still no buttons.
Am I missing something? I'm running OS 10.8.2 Mountain Lion.
There are a few ridiculous menu templates in there, but unless I want to let my client pull up a baby crib themed menu at their conference I don't know what else to do. And I can't build a blank menu either because I'm missing the buttons.
What I'm wondering is what exactly did I download and install?
If anyone can help it would be great, thanks in advance.

Adobe has handled functional content various ways, and it has often been optional downloads. But not the last couple versions or so. But this round has been a real mess. But the solution is available.
The step you have completed is installing the "functional content" and includes components in additional to the base Encore library for Encore and Premiere Pro.
On the page you probably used for the download, toward the bottom was the additional material you want.
It is probably easier to get it from this page:

Can I complete level 5 with Photoshop CS5?

Not so much a question as a bug report. In Photoshop CS5, lesson number 5 (straighten a photo) doesn't work. The mechanism works (get the ruler and choose 'straighten'), but it doesn't detect that you have completed it because the button in CS6 is named "straighten layer" rather than "straighten". Works fine with the CS6 trial. I'm user "John Hattan", email [email protected] if you need more particulars.

MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg Warning:

How can I open CS6 after receiving the following warning: The following disk images couldn't be opened - MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg Reason:Invalid Checksum.

If you open the .dmg folder, you have a choice of Cancel or Skip in the dialogue box while CS6 is verifying, immediately press the skip button and CS6 will install.

ACR 8.6 doesn't show brush under graduated filter

I was told that this version had a brush option in the graduated filter section for raw files but my window soes not show this. I have the latest updates. How can I get this to show the brush button?

Thanks for the reply! The link you sent me is about a completely different issue, synchronizing my Dreamweaver settings with the Cloud, whereas what I've been struggling with is synchronizing my local site files with the files in the site on the remote server.
But in going over it again just now, I discovered that I wasn't paying attention: When I used to hit the "synchronize files on the remote server" button on CS6, there was a setting in the dialog that came up that said to synchronize "local files only," whereas the same setting in CC said, "Entire Holy Cross Site" ("Holy Cross" is the site I'm working on, my church's web site), and I've done this so many hundreds of times I just wasn't looking at those options, anymore, and it didn't occur to me that one of them might be causing my problem.
Sure enough, when I set it to "local files only," it did what I wanted. I apologize for not having realized what the problem was before.
