SSID dissapears after aironet 1602E reboots

Hi there,
I currently have an issue where My core 3850's are constantly rebooting (another issue) which in turn makes my air-cap1602E deregister then re-register. Once it re-registers i can ssh onto it and it's on the network, but the SSID is not being broadcasted as it was previously. I've noticed that the Dot11radio 0/1 interfaces are set to "admin down" so i bring them up and the SSID is broadcast once again, this is until the 3850 switch stack reboots, then it happens all over again. SSID is no longer broadcast and the two Dot11radio interfaces are "admin down".
If anyone can give me any pointers it'd be greatly appreciated, Wireless is not my strong point, this is all on the job training for me.

I statically assigned the AP's with IP addresses within the wireless mgmt subnet range and they registered fine with the WLC on the 3850. I assigned them to an AP group and the SSID was transmitted fine - until the 3850 reboots. The reboots happened irregularly and varied from an hour after the last reboot to several hours. I have resolved this (hopefully) by upgrading both 3850's to the latest software - I believe this issue was to do with the stacking module as both switches were fine individually.
Once the 3850's came back up I could log onto the 3850 WLC and see the AP's and I could also SSH onto them through the wired network but they would not transmit the SSID. The Dot11Radio interfaces were all set to administratively down and the SSID would only tranmit when I brought those interfaces up manually. Currently the 3850's have been stable for 4 days and I'm currently monitoring the kit remotely.

However, after the machine B reboots, the Oracle BI Server and Presentation Server in machine B could not start.
The error message for Oracle BI Server is:

The detail information is:
1)     Machine A and B both run Windows 2008 server 64bit.
2)     Machine A runs Admin Server+BI_Server1(managed server). Machine B is configured with “Scale out an existing installation” option and runs BI_Server2(managed server).
3)     BIEE 11.1.1.3
4)     In EM, the shared location of shared repository has been set to something like \\10.91.61.158\shared\RPD. The catalog path has been set to \\10.91.61.158\BIEEShare\CATALOG\SampleAppLite. Both path could be accessed by machine A and B.
5)     Before machine B reboots, everything is fine. All the servers could be started.
6)     After machine B reboots, the managed server BI_server2 could be started successfully. However, “opmnctl startall” would incur the above error message.

I am using OBIEE 11.1.1.5.0 enterprise software-only install scaleout existing Bi system option on HostMachine2. All services and coreapplication systems are running except coreapplication_obis1, coreapplication_obis2, coreapplication_obips1 and coreapplication_obips2 of bi_server2 on HostMachine2.
Here is my ClusterConfig.xml, as you can see all changes in this file is done by em and primary and secondary controller settings are already applied. The same file also exist in the same location on HostMachine2.

Forms server failing after the first reboot.

Recently installed R12 on XP and was able to add users and responsibilities. after my first reboot of xp i was able to login but not able to start form server. Have tried reinstalling j2se and created mesg folder under forms folder as indicated in one of the post. still getting the error. the log file contents are included below:

Though XP is not certified, R12 should work on it (I already have R12 running on XP Professional).
Linux should be more stable. Refer to the following document for details about R12 installation on Linux.

Preview is STILL frozen even after force quitting, rebooting and reopening. Help?!? I need to see my files!

Not sure what I did, but Preview continues to stay frozen even after force quitting, rebooting and reopening. It seems like it is trying to open all 720 pdf documents I have on my internal memory. That's my best guess... I really don't know what happened. I've tried clicking the 'close windows when closing application' option under general settings and every other thing I've seen listed on help sites... nothing is working. PLEASE HELP?!?

Back up all data. Quit Preview if it's running.
Hold down the option key and select Go ▹ Library from the Finder menu bar. From the Library folder, delete the following items, if they exist:
Containers/com.apple.Preview
Preferences/com.apple.Preview.LSSharedFileList.plist
Preferences/com.apple.Preview.SandboxedPersistentURLs.LSSharedFileList.plist
Saved Application State/com.apple.Preview.savedState
Log out and log back in. Launch the application and test.

Do you get an error number? What is the exact message?
Two things to try.
- Sign out of the App Store (in the Store menu)
- Quit the App Store
- In Finder - Go>Go to folder... (or Apple-shift-G)
- Paste in the following "~/Library/Caches/ "
- It will take you to a folder. Delete com.apple.appstore
- Launch the App Store.
If that doesn't work, try an App Store reset and then try again.

Basically i use guides a lot when creating or editing PDFs, however when i am done editing and i save my work and close it. The next time i open up the pdf to edit, my initial guides when i created the Pdf is missing. This is really annoying. does anyone know how to fix this problem?

It sounds like you are trying to send emails but for some reason, thousands show activity. I would start by re indexing the mailbox to help troubleshoot the issue:
1.Quit Mail if it’s open.
2.In ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData, delete any file that begins with “Envelope Index,” such as Envelope Index or Envelope Index-shm.To show your home Library folder, hold down the Option key, then in the Finder choose Go > Library.
3.Open Mail.Mail creates new Envelope Index files. This process may take a few minutes, depending on how many messages Mail is reindexing.

If the issue persists, I would next remove the account, restart the computer, and re add the account:
1.Choose Mail > Preferences, then click Accounts.
2.Select an account, then click Remove.

Removing an Exchange or IMAP account doesn’t permanently delete the account’s mailboxes and messages because they’re stored on the mail server. To retrieve the account’s mailboxes and messages from the server, add the account again in Mail.

FCP text dissapears after Compressed

Running Dual G5 that shipped with Tiger. I'm using the FCP4 package and DVDSP3.
Compressor has been doing two things that it was not doing with Panther.
1. Text crawls created in FCP dissapear after going through Compressor MPEG 2 high quality process (FCP regular text does not dissapear)
2. Chapter markers are not retained either.
Previously I had problems with Tiger doing weird stuff with DVDSP, but apple put out a patch to correct it.
Any ideas or solutions for the above two problems? (I've already read other similar threads - unfortunately none of the suggestions helped my problem and the folks weren't using the same versions of software)

i've seen your video and your text seems fine to me. are you planning to ever have this broadcast on television? if so then there may be an issue. but if everything is webcast then it looks fine. i'd tell you to view everything on an NTSC monitor before air but i'm not sure if you are going to need it.
you mentioned that when you 'watch it full screen' that the text looks bad. do you mean full screen on youtube or fullscreen on your comp monitor? how big of a monitor is it? everything will look like garbage if you expand it beyond the size that it was intended for. it's like, HD stops being HD if you look at it on a huge monitor. pixels get larger and you lose definition.

Illustrator files dissapear after saving files

It is always recommended here to open/save from/to own hard disk, and to copy from/to networks and removable media. You may be lucky (for a while), but the chances of file corruption and other unpleasantnesses are immensely greater when you use anything but the harddisk, and it is better to be safe than sorry.

T61 LCD always at full brightness after Windows XP reboot

Everytime after Windows XP reboot on the T61, LCD always go to full brightness despite power manager settings is 6/15 on both AC and Battery power. This is starting to get annoying ... does anyone experience similar problem?
Config: T61 14.1" SXGA+ Intel X3100 graphics Windows XP SP2
BIOS, Graphics Driver, Power Manager and ACPI Management Driver are all on the latest version on this page:

I don't remember how it was in XP, but in Vista there are Windows power management settings in Windows control panel and, additionally and separate from that, the ThinkVantage Power Manager. The settings in these two should not contradict each other.
You posted a link to an overview of current driver and BIOS versions. The BIOS and Embedded Controller versions displayed on that page are not the latest ones. The latest combination of BIOS and EC is 2.07-1.08. The readme for that upgrade says:
- (Fix) Intel Video driver is always loaded as maximum brightness
even if user set minimum brightness.

Mails stored as drafts are dissapearing after 4 secs.

I hope that I am not off topic here.
I am used to mail - I am not interested in changing to another non-apple client...
Since the latest security update for 10.3.9
i am having issues with my mail program 1.3.11 (v622/623).
Many users are reporting issues with indexing function, this works fine here...
Suddenly when trying to get new mail it says that there is a problem with opening the inbox. (propose a protected openening/quit/...)
I chose always quit. After a re-launch I usually am fine again. This issue returns from day to day and is really annoying.
Second issue is that stored mails in the draft box are dissapearing after 4 seconds. This is happening each time I open the mail program. The drafts re-appear when I am saving a new draft, but they are dissapearing in the same way when I restart mail after a quit.
I trashed all my default mboxes.
This won't help. I rebuilded all boxes - this won't help either.
So, any help is very appreciated.

I checked all my settings.
I created a new account.
The dissapearing won't go away.
From time to time, when switching from inbox to sent box or trash
I am getting a message window:

In English it would be something like that:
The Postbox „~/Library/Mail/[email protected]/Drafts.mbox“ is now used by „xxx xxx“ on the server „xxxuserxxx.local“. Opening a postbox which is already open could damage this.
Three options:
protected opening or quit or opening in any case
But I have another partition with a 10.3.9 running (without that sec. updates).
There is mail 1.3.11 (v622) active - it is running normal without any issues.
So I am reckoning that the newer version v622/623 is instable here....
Would it be recommended to delete a few plist files? Which ones.
(it is not a big issue for me to fill out the forms on a restart)

Indesign dissapears after restart

Hello.
After i tried the CS6 beta all my Adobe programs are dissapearing after restart. Registry stays but they dissapear from start menu and wont open up afterwards.
Most of the errors are either : "Please uninstall and reinstall the product " Error: 1
Or that the specific file does not exist.
I have reinstalled it thousands of times already after every restart . I have been keeping my computer in sleep for weeks just not to reinstall it again.
This problem began after CS6 beta didnt want to uninstall itself and i used something called the "Perfect uninstaller" i did not know that adobe had creative suite uninstaller thing then.
All the other programs are fine after restart but the CS ones are dissapearing from start menu and refuse to start up from their program direction.
I can evade Error 1 with administrator mode (after restart) but i cannot have the drag drop function. Which is crutial to my workflow.
PC Specs:
Windows 7 home premium
Asus Notebook N73SV
Intel Core I7-2670QM
Ram 8gb
Nvidia Geforce GT540M

And in future, NEVER run beta software on a mission critical machine. You need to be prepared to completely rebuild any machine that you use for testing, and one really good method is to make a disk image of some known good state that you can restore if necessary so you don't have to go through the hassle of reinstalling the the OS and all the apps, but it's still a pain.
You might, if the cleaner tool fails, try using Windows System Restore to go back to a point before you installed the beta software, but the odds of that working after everything else are probably not better than 50-50.
