SSL and custom domain configuration for cloud service

Hi,
I am doing custom domain mapping and SSL configuration for a cloud service web role. Another important aspect is Cloud service web role uses ADFS in between for authentication.
I have custom domain mapped, SSL uploaded on cloud services Certificates
tab in management portal, certificate .pfx and chaining certs .CER are added as below -
<Certificate name="UATCert" thumbprint="A" thumbprintAlgorithm="sha1" />
<Certificate name="Certificate1" thumbprint="B" thumbprintAlgorithm="sha1" />
<Certificate name="Certificate2" thumbprint="C" thumbprintAlgorithm="sha1" />
I see these certificates getting added properly to Azure cloud service web role instance VM.
The problem is, when I access the custom domain,
https://mysite.com/default.aspx in the browser ultimately after ADFS login I see
https://cloudservice.cloudapp.net/default.aspx. My understanding is, cloudapp.net should not be seen in the browser to the client. Also I keep getting error of certificates stating "There is
a problem with this website’s security certificate" when browser shows cloudapp.net url.
How can I avoid display of cloudapp.net in browser and show only custom domain Url. Also how can I avoid this certificate error ?

Based what you described, I understand that you want to use the custom domain for cloud service web role and apply azure active directory authentication to the web role application.

As for above issue, I think you should make sure you have registered the web application in azure AD both "SIGN-ON URL" and "Reply URL" are

Try to upload a valid certificate (provided by CA) to cloud service for your custom domain.

When trying to access one website, Firefox says " This domain is not configured for this service. Please add it to your account."

I am trying to access a fabric website I have used before and when I try to type in the domain name, a message appears saying "This domain is not configured for this service. Please add it to your account". How do I fix this?

That message sounds like an address might have changed on the server...
Are you trying to access the site directly using a bookmarks, or by typing into the address bar, or by following a link in a search engine? Sometimes links change making bookmarks and search engine entries obsolete, or Firefox's autofill feature suggests an address that no longer works, so if one approach doesn't work, you might try one of the others.

Deploying Azure Web Site and Custom Domain Name

I'm new to Azure and not at all familiar with the various methods of publishing to Azure via Git, etc. I belong to the old school of plain old IIS folder structures and uploading HTML files to Inetpub directory for deploying web contents.
I have created an Azure web site at
http://mysite.azurewebsites.net and have added a CNAME record on our DNS server to redirect traffic from www.mydomain.com to mysite.azurewebsites.net but to no avail. I have downloaded and installed the Azure
PowerShell but can't seem to do anything with it. Any advice on how to configure the custom domain name for my azure web site as well as how to deploy contents to it, preferrably the old school way, would be much appreciated.

How can I list all the domains configured for Weblogic Servers?

How can I list all the domains configured for Weblogic Servers?
I saw a note, which says the following:
"WebLogic Server does not support multi-domain interaction using either the Administration Console, the weblogic.Admin utility, or WebLogic Ant tasks. This restriction does not, however, explicitly preclude a user written Java application from accessing multiple domains simultaneously."
In my case, I just want to list all the domains, is that possible by using any scripts?

If you use WLS Node Manager and the Config Wizard was used to create the domains, then the list of domains should be in a location like this:
<MIDDLEWARE_HOME>\wlserver_10.3\common\nodemanager\nodemanager.domains
Enterprise Manager Grid Control also has support for multi-domain management of WLS in a console.

What is Network In and Network Out Metrics on Cloud Service

We have hosted Cloud Services on Azure through Visual Studio Online & Setup basic Performance metrics. However not sure about Network In and Network Out Metrics on Cloud Services hosted through Visual Studio Online.

I dont think it makes any difference if deployed via VSO, as far as i know the the Network In/Out metric include the
Performance Counter
"Bytes Received/Bytes Sent", You will be charged only for the Network Out (Outbound Data).

What accounts need to be configured for a service tax 10%,a balance sht a/c

This below error occurred while clearing the entries.
"Ex.rate diff.accts are incomplete for account 0003260423 currency INR"
I have gone through this and found that, we should need to configure gain/loss accounts in OB09.
I am not sure, what accounts need to be configured for a service tax account(3260423), Its a balance sheet account.
Can someone guide me on this.

Hello Sudhir,
regarding to your incident, could you please try the following:
   1.The problem is probably caused by the settings in transaction OBA1.
     The system checks OBA1, if there is an entry for process KDF and
     the relevant G/L account 135090. If there is none -> F5 063 is
     created. Also the exchange rate difference accounts have to be
     maintained in OB09
     If you make a dummy entry in OBA1 & OB09 this account will be
     selected when trying to make an exchange rate difference posting.
     Please also check the documentation to field "No forex rate diff.
     when clearing in LC" in transaction OBY6.
   2.Basically solution is to create the mentioned account for exchange
     rate difference, in order to avoid error F5063.
     But, if you don't want to post that difference, I ask you to check
     the solution proposed into OSS note 546997.

Right. But as I understand it, the aGPS is a function that speeds location using cell signals, but isn't necessary for the GPS signal. I can buy a plugin device that is a real GPS that I can use with my iPad mini. However, I would need an app for maps. I was wondering if anyone had used one of these.

Custom Domain name for Azure virtual machine using azure websites

Hie, I am using a cloud service (e.g cloud1) and it has a hosted VM in it (Windows server 2012). It is having a URL cloud1.cloudapp.net. So I want to use the domain name (e.g azuresite1.azurewebsites.net)created from azure.
So how do I add the Cname record and everything in this setup .
I already tried to use
this but that didn't work
What additional steps are required to add custom domain name to an azure virtual machine and, the custom domain name is also an azure website

If you want to use azuresite1.zurewebsites.net then i think, you have to create a azurewebsite. If you have a custom domain then following should work.
You have findout the IP that is attached to the VM.
Point your domain name to that IP (using domain dashboard)
Now your domain points to whatever the site hosted on the VM (port 80)
If you have more sites then, you have specify HostName for the site which you want to use with domain name.
Try and let me know if this helped.

Help! Azure VM Web Server and Custom Domain Names

I am going to be pretty basic here, so I apologize at the start ;)....We are attempting to setup a web server for our customer applications in Azure. We need to setup the website with multiple subdomains i.e. ourcompany.com is the main site but we will have
customer1.outcompany.com, customer2.ourcompany.com, etc....
I have a domain name registered with GoDaddy. I have a virtual machine up and running. I have a test website up and running and can access it externally ( the net ) so I do have endpoints figured out at minimum.
Example. the current virtual server is ourcompany01.cloudapp.net . Our registered domain name is ourcompany.com.
Using our domain registrar,I am able to point ourcompany.com to ourcompany01.cloudapp.net.
The problem is that I want our customers to see ourcompany.com not ourcompany01.cloudapp.net in the browser.
How do I make that happen and also allow for the subddomains?
Any help would be greatly apprciated as I am under the proverbial gun to make this happen!!!!

You are right about making changes in your DNS Registrar. That is the last step that is suggested in the article:

And about createing the sub domains, you will need to use the IP address. Since you would be creating more than one subdomains for your 'www.ourcompany.com', you will need to map them to Reserve IP address.

Custom sensor configuration for sensor mapping

Hi all,
I'm developing an application that performs sensor mapping of a STL model. I analyzed Sensor Mapping Express VI, it is very useful for development of my application.
But, my application requires to change sensore position or model or other settings at run time. Hence, I need to create a custom sensor configuration editor to define sensor positions, stl file path, and so on. (See attachment)
I don't understand how can I change sensors position at run time.

Sorry, the reply above may have been a bit vague. I am trying to say that express vis are native labview code packed with an easy to use configuration front panel. You can access the underlying code by digging a bit deeper in to it.
1. Right click on the express vi and select Open Front Panel
2. Click OK to the warning message
3. Repeat Step1 on the resulting block.
4. Use Ctrl+M to view the vi in edit mode.
Then you would have access to all the inputs, in this case its a cluster with all the information. So with some more programming, you can add the extra customisation you would like.

Joomla on Azure - receive http 302 - domain temporary moved - custom domain configured

i have Joomla running on Azure websites and use the mode "Shared" because i need the custom Domain.
dns lookup is fine and works perfect but when i browse
www.mydomain.de i receive from webserver: mydomain.azurewebsites.net.
I've check with netmon:
1. browser send: GET www.mydomain.de
receive a first http answer with: StatusCode: 302, Moved temporarily -> Location:
http://mydomain.azurewebsites.net/
Any idea how i can disable the temopory move stuff?

I am using Azure Python SDK to perform calls to ServiceManagement APIs.
I have a .publishsettings file generated for my account which includes an encoded version of my X509 certificate and all of my subscription IDs.
How can I retrieve/compute an X509 certificate's thumbprint in Python?
Following is the code snippet that helps us do it in .Net.
Is there a similar approach to do it in Python?
