SSL Certgen Weblogic 6.0. Help Needed!

Hi,
I am using Weblogic 6.0. I want to enable SSL. I understand that for
that I need a certificate. Now I want to create my own. In the
documentation for Weblogic 7.0 it is mentioned that I can create it
using certgen. I cant find it. Is it not available with weblogic 6.0?
What other methods can I use to create a certificate. What do I do
after creating a certificate?
I really really will appreciate a response.

CertGen was added in 7.0. Before that, I think you needed to use the
CertificateServlet. Another possibility is to request a certificate from
one of the certificate authority companies (Verisign, Certicom, etc).
Look at "security fundamentals" in the docs for more information on how
certificates are used with SSL. (I found this title in the wls 6.1 docs).
I think it explains what you need.

http://commerce.bea.com/downloads/weblogic_express.jsp for installing the trial version of Weblogic Express but it takes me to the link for installing Weblogic Server/Express. I chose to download
"WebLogic Server/Express 8.1 with SP3" but that installed Weblogic Server and other Weblogic features other than Weblogic Express.
My question is that how can I install Weblogic Express and where can I find a good documentation for the same as I am finding it hard to find?
Also I want to know that can Weblogic Express be integrated with JCA feature?

Where can I get the weblogic express license? Does it come with the 8.1 SP4 evaluation download? Under WEBLOGIC_HOME, i only see license.bea and license_scale_limited.bea, none of which mentions anything about Express. Thanks!

SSL CertGen & Private key import errors - 7.0

I am trying to install weblogic generated ssl certificate and because the private
key needs to be encrypted with a password, i am loading this in a new JDK keystore
and trying to configure WL.
I am running utils.CertGen from weblogic 7.0 sp3 on XP.

I went ahead and ran the same CertGen on unix and got the certificate file and
the key file
to my box to check to see if i can install it. I created a new keystore with keytool,
loaded the private key with the alias and the password phrase, made this key store
the default keystore, supplied the management password, changed the files to read
the new cert file and key file.
Attached is the log for the SSL debug.
Do i need to import the private key stored in the JDK for weblogic ? I tried doing
that by running.

Try this on 8.1 and see if it works. There was a bug fix with respect to "_"
in hostnames.

I am having trouble Trouble implementing one-way SSL on WebLogic 9.2. I am using Demo Identity and Demo Trust certificates with a SSL Listen Port Enabled on 7002, and a Two Way Client Cert Behavior of Client Certs Not Requested. I assume that by using Client Certs Not Requested that there is no need to install certificates on user's computers.
When weblogic is restarted, I get the following log telling me it works...

Weblogic server 10.3 needs restart to reflect jsp changes.

Hello,
I am using weblogic 10.3.5. My problem is when I make changes to JSPs, it is not getting reflected when I refresh the page. Always I have to perform restart of the server.
I checked my weblogic.xml and I have the below configuration also.

Webservicecontext always being returned as null.. help needed

I am trying to get the WebServiceContext below in the webservice below (JAX-WS), but i think the resource injection isnt working.
I am using oracle enterprise pack for eclipse, weblogic 11g server.
Need help with what i am doing wrong. Do i need to configure something else

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to reproduce your problem. However, I'll talk about my setup:
1. Created a Web Service Project: File->New->Web Service Project
2. Created a 11gR1(10.3.5) Runtime
3. Created the WebService exactly as above.
4. Right Clicked the WebService and Selected RunAs->Run On Server
Once the WebLogic Test Client is Launched Selected the getCounter method.
Is your execution similar? Any additional info ie pertinent logs etc may help in getting things going.
You shouldn't need any addition setup to access the WebServiceContext and have it correctly injected other than being invoked by the client side correctly.

In short, I love it. I was going to buy the 5DMark III. After playing with it for a while at my local Fry's store where they put 5DMII, 5DMIII and 6D next to each other, using the same 24-105L lens, I decided to get the 6D and pocket the different for lens later.
I'm upgrading from the 30D. So I think you'll love it. It's a great camera. I have used 5DMII extensively before (borrowing from a close friend).
Funny thing is at first I don't really care about the GPS and Wifi much. I thought they're just marketing-gimmick. But once you have it, it is actually really fun and helpful. For example, I can place the 6D on a long "monopod", then use the app on the phone to control the camera to get some unique perspective on some scenes. It's fun and great. GPS is also nice for travel guy like me.

Help needed! Raid degraded again!

Help needed! I hava made bootable RAID with two S-ATAII 250Gb HDD and its not working! Every now and then at bootup I get a message RAID -> DEGRADED... Must be seventh time! Rebuild takes its own time!
What am I doing wrong!
T: Ekku

2 Gb RAM
2 x 250 Gb HDD (Maxtor)
nVidia RAID (in mb)
P.S. I wery SORRY with my poor language!

I'm going to blame the nVRAID because I've seen issues with it in the past. If your motherboard has another non-nVidia RAID solution, use that instead. Using the nVidia SATA ports as BASE or JBOD is fine and dandy but RAIDing always had issues. It's not even a driver issue I think it's just instability. Latest drivers and even boxed drivers never helped. Granted, some will report success with their rig. But on a professional level I've seen nForce issues on different motherboards and different hard drives that had RAID disaster stories.
Good luck and if you don't have another RAID solution, my suggestion would be to buy a dedicated RAID controller card.

Help needed on installation of Oracle 9i on Sun Solaris 8

Hey,
Help needed on installation of Oracle 9i EE on Sun Solaris 8. The problem I met was: we followed the installation guide from the documentation. And we selected the choice "install software only". After it was done successfully, we run Database Configuration Assistant utility to create a database instance. But finally it always tried to create the instance at the root directory ( / ) which doesn't have enough space and then failed. The case was that we have set the enviroment parameters: $ORACLE_BASE = /export/mydata, $ORACLE_HOME = /export/apps/oracle9i. That means it should be installed at /export/mydata, but it didn't. Any help or advice are welcome. Thanks.

I have downloaded Oracle 11G R2 version from Windows and extracted it in Windows and copied it into DVD after extraction in two folders. Now I am mounting that DVD in Solaris 10 installed in my VMware . I made a new directory named as 'installation ' under /export/home/oracle and copied the folders from DVD to 'installation' folder. Now I am entering installation folder and try to do ./runInstaller as 'oracle ' user and getting the error mentioned before.
