SSL error 107 on Mountain Lion across all browsers.
I'm getting ssl error 107 when trying to access sites that use ssl on both safari and chrome. I've tried a clean version but that didn't work, it still came up with the same error. Any suggestions/solutions?
Hi, check that if you have installed on your mac "Cisco Any Connect" if you have it uninstall it and try again. If that works install it again and check on the installation procedure and "uncheck" Web Security. Hope that solve your problems.

Flash Crashes across all browsers and recent fatal errors
This problem has basicly been going on for years and my operating system has been resintalled a couple of times before but basicly the problem is that adobe flash player (and Microsoft Silverlight) would crash a browser (IE, Chrome, and Firefox) often. I have tried the fixes ive read about but they didnt seem to work so I just decided to put up with it until I began getting fatal errors. I had my hardware checked out and there are no problems with and all my drivers are up to date.
Flash: 11.5.502.135
Windows 7 (64-bit)
HD 5570 and HD 6870 (upgraded from one to the other but problem still occurs)
Like I said I usually try to put up with flash (and silverlight) crashing my browser but now they crash the browse so badly it forces a bugcheck (or blue screen of death). I have tried to reload my operating system, then updated my drivers, and then in clean boot mode I still get pretty nasty crashes. I think the problem is within one of my drivers but I cant pinpoint which driver is the culprit.

DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION (c4)
A device driver attempting to corrupt the system has been caught. This is
because the driver was specified in the registry as being suspect (by the
administrator) and the kernel has enabled substantial checking of this driver.
If the driver attempts to corrupt the system, bugchecks 0xC4, 0xC1 and 0xA will
be among the most commonly seen crashes.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000091, A driver switched stacks using a method that is not supported by
the operating system. The only supported way to extend a kernel
mode stack is by using KeExpandKernelStackAndCallout.

Subject: Flash Player Flash Plug-in Crashes across all browsers despite
re-install
I support a bunch of Mac users and one of them (10.5.7 MBP) ran into this same
problem last week with both Safari and Firefox crashing with the flash player
plugin. If I removed the Flash Player plugin and the .xpt file there was no
crashing but no flash either. I used a combination of different suggestions and
here's what finally worked (so far anyway):
Show package contents for Firefox/Contents/MacOS/components and Get Info
changing perms for read/write for everyone.
Re-installed shockwave plugin using the customized full install (this made no
sense to me since I had made no change to shockwave but as I was testing the
browsers I was prompted to install it, so I did)
Repaired permissions
The version of the Flash Player plugin that ended up installed on this Mac is
10.0.12.36. I started off installing the newer and recommended 10.0.22.87
version but it didn't fix anything. I inadvertently went backwards as I moved
plugins in and out of the Library. I didn't want to change anything once it was
working so I left it at the older version. I hope this helps someone else. -
how do you install mountain lion on all your macs in the houshold with the same license (you only pay 20 bucks for all your macs) is that right?
As long as they're all logged into the Mac App store with the same Apple ID, you can re-download the installer to all the Macs.
Or you can save a copy of the installer file before you run it and use that to update the other Macs. The ML installer file will appear in your Applications folder when it's done downloading. Copy it to another location (don't move it).
If you don't copy it before you upgrade, it will disappear when ML is finished installing. -
I updated my iMac to Mountain Lion. All the files were deleted. I have Time Machine backups. When I restart the mac pressing Command R to restore it from the backup it shows the previous OS X (Leopard) beside the date of the backup that I want to select. Will it go back to Leopard if I restore it from the backup?
No, it won't revert to the prior OS X but you you may have third party apps installed that were compatible with Lion that may not be compatible with Mountain Lion.

I just upgraded to mountain lion and all my mail folders for storing all old emails are gone. How do I get them back?
Buffzap,
Make sure that you choose Mail>View>Show Mailbox List, then hover your cursor over one of the subordinate mailbox categories, and you should see "Show." Next click on "Show." -
I'm currently running 10.6.8 and would like to upgrade to mountain lion but all i keep getting is the following: We could not complete your purchase. OS X Mountain Lion is not compatible with this computer. help

it means exactly that, you mac is not compatible to run ML. http://support.apple.com/kb/SP654 -
Hash mismatching error while downloading mountain lion
i got a has mismatching error when downloading mountain lion in app store, any way to fix it?
Try downloading it in safe mode. Hold the Shift key while your Mac is starting to start into safe mode, and then, open App Store > Purchases, and download Mountain Lion.
If it doesn't work, contact with App Store support > http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact -
I am now running on OS X Snow Leopard. If I upgrade to Mountain Lion, will all my files and data and bought programs disappear?
As Austin Kinsella1 says, it's a good idea to check your program versions.
I have found this site really helpful with that:

If i download mountain lion will all user accounts use this operating system automatically? Or do I need to download it for each user... Its taking ages to download too.
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
When you upgrade the operating system, all users are upgraded to be used with the new version, so you won't have to upgrade OS X each time for all your users -
i was wondering if i have to buy mountain lion on all my macs or with just paying 1's the 20$ i can install it on all my mac's

Flash Player Plug-In broke across all browsers. OSX
Ever since the last Flash update, it will no longer run in any browser. It shows an error that the plug-in is broke. Steps I have done:
-Trashed all prefs
-Uninstalled and reinstalled Flash Player
-Repaired permissions
Nothing works. I created a new User on his machine and it works in that account. I don't want to just wipe out his account and move him to a new account. I'm hoping there is something else I can do to fix the problem.
Any ideas?

Images not loading across all browsers on certain websites, help!
== Issue
==
Firefox is having problems with certain web sites
== Description
==
When browsing college humor and Gawker network sites, and also occasionally google and forbidden planet, images don't load correctly. This happens across all browsers but I feel firefox may be the root of the problem. This happens on both computers which share my firefox profile, and doesn't affect others in my house such as my iPod Touch.
Any ideas? I really want to sort this out.

Flash Plug-in Crashes across all browsers despite re-install
About a week ago, my MacBook's Firefox browser started crashing whenever I checked my hotmail or Youtube, failing to load the flash content in either a banner add or the Youtube video, I uninstalled flash, and the problem went away, only now I am unable to visit youtube or access any flash content on the internet. The problem extends across browsers to Safari and despite reinstalling, trying to revert to an old flash player, even downloading the full trial version of Flash from this website on the suggestion of a tech support person from this site, I have been unsuccessful. The browser crashes whenever it comes across any flash content.
Can you help me?I left it at 10.0.12.36

I'm unable to load certain websites across all browsers on a MacBook Pro
Suddenly I'm unable to load certain websites (sundancechannel.fr, sundancechannel.tw, etc.) across all browsers—Safari, Firefox, Chrome—on my new MacBook Pro. Other computers on the same wifi can access those same sites fine.
I either get a won't connect to server message or a blank page.
Any idea what's going on?
I've thus far tried restarting the connection, clearing my cache, restarting the computer, deleting my history, and even getting in touch with the site owners.Cambrey,
