SSL Verify Return Code:21
Running: +openssl s_client -connect server.domain.com:636+
I get the following error:
Verify return code: 21 (unable to verify the first certificate)
I believe this is an issue with the CA or the Key not being verified/accepted
I installed the ca bundle from here: http://certs.ipsca.com/Support/SSLServerSUPPORT.asp
Then I edited the httpd.conf file to include: +SSLCertificateChainFile "/etc/apache2/conf/IPS-IPSCABUNDLE.crt"+
pasted the crt data in my crt - via server admin
the issuer checked my site and they said it was installed correctly, however it appears not to be.
If I go to https://server.domain.com it connects with no issue, if I go to https://server.domain.com:### It asks me if I want to trust the crt.
Thanks for the help
It would be helpful if I knew where server admin saves the cert's that are created in it.
It seems to me that the error is that there is no key given to the client.
Here is the output of the cal error log. (wow they need a code input... to keep formating correct)

Anybody else?
HenriHi,
here are some more informations about the problem.
The root CA certificate is imported as trusted in the system keychain of the server and the client. A certificate evaluation returns "valid certificates, trusted ...".
The client bind fails with this messages, e.g. Kerio Control is able the use LDAPS, so it seams just the problem with the trustability of the certificates. Keychain trusts the certificates, OD client bind not, this is not so consistent.
Any idee?
Thanks
Henri

Thanks Rahul$Hi,
The client cannot verify the signature of ccmsetup.cab. I suggest you check the Trusted Root Certification Authorities in certificate store on the client to see whether a certificate is missing.
Try to enable verbose logging for SCCM client installation. Then check the log to see whether there are some useful information.(http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg699356.aspx)

Hi, I hope someone can help me with this.
I've got an ASP.Net application that initiates an HTTPS request to another server as needed. The Application Pool is automatically recycled every night, and the end users have no trouble until about 12:30 to 1:00 pm every day. At that point
this HTTPS request starts failing. This happens on 20 load balanced web servers (Windows 2008 R2) at almost the same time. If the Application Pool is recycled then that web server can make the HTTPS requests again.
I've compared the network trace log for a good request versus a failed request and I can't see any differences until the error happens.
I suspect something in IIS memory, or Windows Networking, is leaking or getting confused after being used a certain number of times...? It was failing when I was using:
vHttpReq = CreateObject("WinHttp.WinHttpRequest.5.1")vHttpReq.Open("POST", pPost, False)
I recently change it to use the .Net web request and it Still fails (but now I can get .Net tracing):
vHTTPWebReq = DirectCast(Net.HttpWebRequest.Create(Me.m_VendorPath), Net.HttpWebRequest)
Is there some additional tracing or logging that might give more details about "returned code=InternalError" ?
Here is an example of a request that fails:

System.Net Error: 0 : [1376] Exception in the HttpWebRequest#22178585::EndGetRequestStream - The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.Group Policy uses a server to verify credentials before connections are made. If the credential server doesn't respond you may fail. It sound like there is some sort of network loading issue that is causing the issue. Probably a timeout needs to be
increase. Other possibilities is some admin program is schedule to run at the same time every day (or a user application is downloading large amount of data every day) which is slowing down the network. I don't think you will be able to change the
schedule program, so trying to increase the timeouts is the better approach.
It also looks like there may be a certificate issue. Not sure if the server that validates the certificate isn't responding quick enough, or there isn't a certificate available because other users have checked out the all certificates.

Greetings,
I have a base image I have created with an MDT task sequence, than I am then immediately capturing with another MDT task sequence (the capture sequence is basically the default). After capture, I get 0 errors, 1 warning: "Unexpected return code
while re-arming office 2010, RC= -1073425657".
I am capturing immedaitely after the base image build, and even more strangely, even with Office 2010 removed from my base build, I STILL get this warning! Office isn't even on there anymore (I verified before capture just to double check).
Not sure how or why this is happening - or more importantly, should I care? I've deployed a couple of machines using this image, and both Office and Windows show as activated. Can this safely be ignored, or if not... what is the fix?
Thanks in advance!Freddie,
Please read your own post again, can you tie the knots together, because your phrasing is going crazy!?!
However, if using the sysprep step from within a MDT task sequence, please scroll through the ZTISysprep.wsf to find that not only the machine will be sysprepped, but also Office 2010 will be automatically re-armed, this is provided in the script already,
so no need to run it on your own.
Ok how do i undo that because thatswhy the message appears to many rearms...
If a machine is domain joined, it will not sysprep and capture. Also I wouldn't sysprep and capture an already sysprepped and captured image again (based on gut feeling) and as always check your logfiles, they can reveal what is going on here.
The machine is not domain joined in the Vm. And i do not sysprep and capture twice.Which logfiles exactly to see?
If this post is helpful please click "Mark for answer", thanks! Kind regards

MDT application install returns unexpected return code: 16
Hi, I'm using MDT 2013 (Version: 6.2.5019.0) and deploying Server 2012 R2 Standard.
The deployment runs fine, but an application install fails. Here is the relevant content from the BDD.LOG file:
Run Command: \\MDT\Share$\Tools\X64\bddrun.exe robocopy \\MDT\Share$\BuildFiles "C:" /MIR /W:5 /R:3 /LOG \\MDT\Share$\LOGS

About to run command: \\MDT\Share$\Tools\X64\bddrun.exe robocopy \\MDT\Share$\BuildFiles "C:" /MIR /W:5 /R:3 /LOG \\MDT\Share$\LOGS
Command has been started (process ID 2896)
Return code from command = 16
Application Copy Files 1.0 returned an unexpected return code: 16
Property InstalledApplications001 is now = {9d0ba76d-96f9-4f4f-a6b8-4b1d0ffd2007}
ZTIApplications processing completed successfully.
I've searched for the error code 16 but can't find any results. What does it mean?
Cheers.I think that I may have found the solution. On different site I've found the robocopy exit codes and 16 is listed there as "Robocopy
did not copy any files. Check the command line parameters and verify that Robocopy has enough rights to write to the destination folder."
I guess that I need to alter the destination folder to something other than the root of C:\
I'll respond with the result later.
UPDATE: Yep, that was the problem. -
PDW : DWLoader in Execute Process Task, Success Value return code
Hi,
I'm using SSIS Execute Process Task to call DWLoader.
It seems the Success Value return code is 2.
Which is working fine except that after all data are loaded in my table a 0 return code is sent.
And so my task fails.
Any idea how to handle this ?
Thx for your help !
Regards,
BertrandrMy understanding is - When DWLoader process returns 2, everything goes fine but in another case it returns 0 then task fails.
You can Set: FailTaskIfReturnCodeIsNotSuccessValue
to FALSE so that task will not care about return values
But in case of any other error such as syntax - save
error in MyVariable and verify if MyVariable != ""
-Vaibhav Chaudhari -
Seems a common set of Return Codes to post so apologies that's not specific.
To me appears the issue is related to the "Not enough storage is available to process this command" log entry. Looked into it and some SCCM 2007 issues that were related to too many sessions to the site server, but even after rebooting my MDT server
I get the same issue.
The server I am attempting to capture has a 60gb VHD with around 30gb actually used. The MDT Server has over 100GB free space.

Return Code 0XFFAB411C received when setting selected field for timestamp
I have a time stamp field that I want to change the selected fields (the fields that determine whether the time stamp gets updated)
When I select ALL fields and save I get the return code of 0xFFAB411C.
I have ran verify repair on repository, no change
I have archived and unarchived, no change
I have deleted the field and recreated it with the same result.
When I create the field it defaults with selected fields "ALL" I need to add all the fields and remove 2-3 fields but I get the error message.
I have added fields one by one until I get the error message, then try it with just the last field but I do not get the error.
Any ideas?FYI this is the response from SAP regarding this issue.
Please refer to SAP Note 1283688 which documents the limitation while
using time stamp fields.
As this is a Database limitation and currently can't be removed, please
consider the following options :
1) Since most of the fields are to be included, leave selected fields
with [All]
2) Split the table fields to 2 (or more) groups and add a Time stamp
field to each group
3) Lower the number of fields that should be tracked by the Time stamp
field
If both solutions are still not valid to use by the business, please
refer to SAP Note 1156293 on how to file an enhancement request. -

0x80090010It seems the server does not have access to "its own" private key.
Two ideas:
1) The service used with NPS (I guess Network Service)
does not have access to the private key. This service should be given Full Control on the Private Key in the Certificates MMC targeted to the local computer (right-click the cert. in Personal, All Tasks, Manage Keys...)
2) I have generally sometimes seen issues when the Software Key Storage Provider was used with SSL (Schannel error messages...). Using a
classical CSP specifically designed for SSL resolved that, e.g. the RSA Schannel provider. You would need to copy your template again and pick such a CSP ("Windows 2003 template" in case this is a W2K8 (R2) CA or compatible with XP/2003 in
case this is W2K12.
If you use RSA and the same key size as with the Software Key Storage Provider I don't see any higher risk associated with that.

Any ideas?Hi,
returning to this.
Since last:
- Got 2.0.1 iso: No change
- Tried increasing ram: No change
- Test installed on an alternative vm guest on same subnet as GroupWise server: Succes
So I guess it must some kind of networking issue:
- I am installing on a dmz vm guest
- Checked my firewalls: No packets seems to get blocked
- Checked the soap interface from my mobility test server http://<groupwise-ip>:7191/soap, which returns POA response as expected
From install.log:
Wed Mar 26 21:48:14 CET 2014: Datasync.Write:executing: python /opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/mobility/cli/mobility_setup_5.pyc --provision 'groupwise' --galuser 'admin' --block false --selfsigned true --path '' --lport '443' --secure true
Wed Mar 26 21:48:16 CET 2014: Datasync.Write:return code from activesync_setup_5.pyc:1
Any suggestions?
What is done is this step 5?

ouch, that is rather tight and might be low enough to cause you some
grief. 2GB has worked well enough for small deployments for me, though I
have had to push up to the official minimum of 4GB once some real load
got placed on it.
I would recommend getting that box up to 2GB and try the install again.

OK, that helps put a context on things.

Was this run on this Mobility server? If not then do test from this
Mobility VM. A to make sure the DMZ to LAN route lets it through as well
as the SLES firewall on the Mobility server.

LrTasks.execute not getting correct return code
Hi all,
I'm writing an Export Filter Provider that, in the postProcessRenderedPhotos function, calls an external Python script like this:
exitStatus = LrTasks.execute(command)
log:debug("Task returned, exit status is " .. exitStatus)
if exitStatus ~= 0 then
At the end of my Python script, I use
sys.exit(0)
and have verified that running of the script indeed returns 0 by running it in the shell and then checking the return code
echo $?
returns 0
Whenever I run this script from my Export Plugin, I always get an exitStatus of 256. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!I would first assure that in the Lightroom case as well, the script is executing up to the sys.exit statement as well - I suspect it is not (but don't really know...).
I have called python scripts from plugins both successfully and unsuccessfully, although I can't be certain I've checked the actual return code from the sys.exit command.
Consider trying an ultra-short script which writes to a file and exists with a code - make sure you can read the file in your plugin before assessing the return code.
If still a problem, report as bug on Adobe feedback site of course:

What could be the possible reason for this error?Hi,
Did the import fail (got errors) or just got some warnings? Please check the import history of the target system to see if the TR was imported. Did you use CTS (or eCTS) to transport? If so, please check the TMS Configuration for the involved systems. In the Transport Tool tab, verify that you have the correct paths for the DBLIBPATH and DBSWPATH paramters.
Hope it helps.
