SSN no for US citizen working in Australia
Hi.
An American employee was working in Australia and his SSN was entered in the system.
Now he has left AUS and is now in USA, so when HR in US wants to entere his SSN, system gives error that this SSN belongs to some other person (astually same person when he was in Australia).
Now they want to delete SSN number from his Personnel assignment = AUS (in PA20) so that they can add it in pers assig = US.
But when I select Pers assig= Aus, I can not find any field related to SSN.
The system error shows that SSN for pers assign=Aus has been saved in the proper SSN field(As system fires error while entering SSN for US assignment ).
Can you help me how and where can I find SSN no for Pers assig= Aus so that user can delete it?

it is stored in it0002 as field perid. you may not be able to see it as the screen is selected for country Australia is different from screen for country US. checn the fields on it0002 for australia
How did the user update the ssn against the employee, check if there are multiple it0002 for the earlier employee and you can try to delete from there.
However if the same is a one off case then the screen can be changed temporarily and the change can be done. however if it is a regular feature then you need to build some exit/tc which can take care of the error and remove the same from the earlier user.

Each country is a separate business. If Apple in Australia fixes a phone purchased in another country it reduces their profit. The good news is that Apple stores will frequently replace phones purchased in other countries under warranty, but they are not required to do so. Some countries are more liberal than others. India never does, for example.
Why don't you just buy it in Australia? The price difference can't be that great. -

If you buy an unlocked phone directly from Apple online or the Apple store it will work in Australia, but probably not on LTE. And if it ever needs to be repaired you will have to bring it back to the US for warranty and out-of-warranty service.

I was happily listening to airtunes, closed the mac, opened it and airport express then had a flashing amber light. Now, if I try airtunes it won't work thru my speakers. I can only hear music thru the macbook. I spent a fair amt of time today on the phone with mac support and was told that my modem encryption needs to be changed. Apparently it has to go from WEP to WPA?

and the girl on the phone was wonderful. We changed the setting from wep 128 to wep 40 and it works! -
It seems like I cannot get GPS only to work on my ipad3 (4g version, but not on an active cell plan, and wifi off). Is there some new requirement in 7.1 or 7.1.1 to have cell and/or wifi enabled for GPS to work? I am testing with MotionX, garmin blueChart mobile, and a GPS monitoring tool. All show no signal. If I turn on cell and wifi, it says I get gps signal, but can't tell if that is from the GPS chip, or just from cell and wifi only (maybe with some gps mixed in)? Any ideas on how to get iPad working with GPS only??

Yes. tried the one ram stick, no go. I have been trying to boot off/install the windows 7 disk but am unable to get to the point where windows starts installing after its gathering information portion of the install. I can get to the disk selection screen of the install with the WD HD on SATA port 2 but then get the "cant install messages" when I try to select the Vertex 3. Yes I can see the Vertex 3 Drive as well as the WD drive at this point. some times I have to hit "scan" a couple of times. -
I am trying to use a site that i have to do homework on but my security settings keep blocking some applet in needs to run for it to work. I have tried to make exceptions in the security settings but it has not worked.

Since I upgraded to 10.9.5, my macbook no longer recognizes my external hard drive. How do I fix this? External hard drive is a 1TB Toshiba formatted for mac. Worked fine until latest upgrade.
Solved the problem by dumping my external HD onto another computer. Re-formatting and re-installing the data. Not what I wanted to do but it solved the problem.

Iphone not being recognized by Itunes for MAC; But works in Windows Vista

My iphone sync with Windows without problems.
But when I plug my iPhone in MAC (10.5.5) with Itunes (8.0.2) the iTunes return: itunes could not connect to the iphone 0xE8000001
It is strange because iPhone connect with iPhoto without problems.
Just iTunes for mac dont work.
This is a brand new minimac.
Any tips?

Which USB port are you connecting it to?
iPhoto will transfer over a USB 1.1 connection, and many hubs are USB 1.1. Try connecting the iPhone directly to the back of the computer.

The printer do support AirPrint (the HP Deskjet 3525 is part of the 3520 Series).
Make sure your printer connected to the same router as your iPad and it shold be listed..
Be aware that you need iOS 4.2 or higher and your router should support Multicasting for AirPrint to work..
If the printer isn't listed please clarify your router brand and model, some routers don't offer Multicasting or have the protocol disabled by default. -

Did you download and install the Windows Support software? If you did, did you use the Boot Camp Control icon to set up the trackpad how you want it?

Port forwarding for SSH not working on WRT54G2

I have forwarded a few ports, but can't get port 22 for SSH to work. I can SSH from within LAN, so that works. And I can access FTP from outside the LAN, when I forwarded that port. But to the same computer where I can access FTP I can't access SSH...
Would be grateful for assistance. Btw, I'm using dynamic IP (through DynDNS, but not using the DynDNS tool in the Linksys interface). I've tried with both the dynDNS domain and the IP address. And I have set a fixed IP address on the server I try to access.

DanielMake sure that if you are forwarding the port nos for SSH on WRT54G2 you need to forward it for the assinged static ip address & it should work great..just try it once.
