  • How to create sso login for webcenter application

    Hi,
i have created a webcenter portal application with a login page.i have to create a sso login for that application .
can anyone suggest me how to do?

    Hi.
Do you have OAM as SSO?.
The best way is to create a loginProxy page which proxies the user and password entered to OAM Login process (or the other SSO system).
This post of JayJay will help you: http://jjzheng.blogspot.com/2013/10/non-programmatic-authentication-using.html

  • AADSTS50011: The reply address does not match the reply addresses configured for the application

Can anyone tell me where to update the reply address?
I have AD synced from on-prem to Azure, then I setup a website on azurewebsites.net, then created a CNAME record from portal.mydomain.com to portal.azurewebsites.net. When I try to login using portal.mydomain.com I get:
AADSTS50011: The reply address does not match the reply addresses configured for the application.
    Can anyone help? Thanks
    Frank Russo

    Hi Frank69,
    Thanks for posting here!
It appears to me that the application is unable to find the URL you have configured on Azure or could be missing from the list. As a result the application is attempting to authenticate against AAD but failing to match the URl it wants.
I would suggest you to re-configure your AAD application on Azure and set one or more reply URLs.

  • Dynamic configuration for the application

I'm a newbie and trying to evaluate JSF. I took part in a project with struts framework and i could say i don't like struts cause of some limitation and i suspect that JSF has the same limitation. First of all, there are JSP pages. I can't use JSP pages/templates stored somewhere else except web application. I'd like to store my templates in the database. This will give me ability to add/change/remove jsp page without redeploying war-archive. Yes, i can use exploded war-archive and add JSP pages straight into file system, but i don't like this way. Next problem is the configuration file like struts-config (faces-config, whatever). I have to write down all my navigation logic and beans mapping to this file and it's really annoying me. This kind of project requires dynamic configuration for the all web application and i'd like to add/change/remove pages, beans, actions without restarting/reconfiguring webapp. Today, I looked thru documentation and source code and found that FactoryFinder class could use my own classes but i'm not sure it will be enough for the dynamic configuration for the beans. In any case, it's a huge problem with the templates.
Right now i'm thinking about 1(one) JSP with XML/XSLT rendered HTML content and JSF for event/action handling. I mean, i'll use XSLT to render dynamic content and JSF for dispatching events. In that case i have to render form tag names in the HTML as JSF engine (i'm not sure if it possible). If it will take a lot of time to do this i'll have to switch a home-grown framework.
So, i really need advices how to implement this sort of dynamic behavior in the web application.
    regars,
    anton

A lot of what you're seeing are genuine limitations, but happily, JSF is so pluggable that you can overcome them.
JSPs are problematic in exactly the way you describe - unless your app server has support for pulling JSPs out of a database, etc., you're SOL. JSF, however, lets you use something other than JSPs by replacing the ViewHandler. That's a fair bit of work, but it is doable.
For navigation logic, you'd replace the NavigationHandler. As long as you're willing to write the code that can pull navigation rules from an external source, life is good.
For managed beans, all you need to replace is the VariableResolver - again, if you can pull the rules from an external source, you have full control.
This is all far from easy - and it's a huge amount of work for one person - but I'd imagine these pieces will become available from various sources. A core goal of JSF 1.0 was making the framework as a whole pluggable so that others can innovate on top of the framework.

    Good afternoon.
I have some questions regarding the Flex 2 and Struts. I use

    3. Flex Data Service 2.0.1
I followed what is writen in the web-site. But cannot make it

  • SSO (SNC) for BEx applications

In our testing environment, we use SSO(SNC) through the SAP GUI for Windows to access our backend systems:

*SSO file sncgss32.dll on the client side
*User mapping (SNC tab) mapped to active directory user

  • Wap (proxy) configurations for Midlet applications

    Hello,
I developed MIDP application which need internet access suing http protocol. The application is a client for a web service.
The application run perfectly on the emulator but it does not work on my mobile phone although my phone has internet access and I can browse the web without any problem.
How can I tell the application about the settings of internet access??
    Thanks in advance,
    Motaz K. Saad
    http://motaz.saad.googlepages.com/

Thanks much for the feedback. We're using the default settings on the HTTP rule we have set up for the portal on the ISA server. We'll be looking into the details of what the default rule settings are, however we did find a note in the Microsoft Knowledge base detailing with the ISA server screening high bits in URL strings for Outlook Web Access (OWA). This generates a similar error message. Here is the link to the detailed note on the Microsoft web site:
    http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;837865
Also,we are going to be applying the SP1 upgrade to the ISA server (released in March) to see if this might be some type of issue that may have been identified and corrected by the service pack. We'll see what happens with that.
One area where we can recreate the problem at will is when we set up the system landscape configuration. We can navigate to a system configuration object, however when we attempt to right click to edit the object we get the error. There are other circumstances where we get errors but that is one that occurs for sure. Anyone have any idea as to what might be special about that type of transaction??
    Thanks again.

  • SSO for External application not part of the portal framework

    Greetings,
    I am desperate!!!
I am trying to do the following:
I have a pl/sql application that presents to the user a set of external applications links. When the user activates a link, I would like to make a call the SSO server so it can do external application login.
I know I can configure the external applications as described in the SSO admin guide.
Unfortunately the API to query the SSO server for external application mapping is not public.
ANY IDEAS ON WHERE I CAN GET THIS INFO??
Every thing I have read says that external applications can be accessed through Portal. This is not my case. I can use any packages or classes available by the SSO server to portal, but MY APPLICATION IS NOT A PORTAL.

I have similar kind of requirements for Single sign-on to external web applications.
But in my applications I have to auto-generate random userid & password for different external web applications.
These uids & password are exported to external applications, which upon recieving creates user in their applications.
So, actual user will never have access to these credentials(uid &pwd).
So, how can I cutomize the Portlets to do the first time SSO when user is created & their credentials to external apps are stored to OID.
    Any idea Barry..
    Bye

  • ESH 7.2 SSO Configuration failes

    Hi,
I tried SSO Configuration for ESH 7.2 as described in document
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/00007511-5c0e-2d10-26bd-f30b7f433b9a?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true.
It was not able to me to call the custom service created
under /default_host/zes/... Therefore I had to copy this node
    to /default_host/sap/zes/...
    After calling
    http://nwbs1db.intra.net.blanco:50100/sap/zes/opensearch/search the
redirect application will be called. SSO Ticket is issued but internal
service of ESH abap stack calls redirect application again. Due to this
fact I get an infinite loop.
Has anybody an idea where I should check my configuration again to solve this problem?
    Thanks and best regards,
    Matthias

    Hi Matthias,
I will notify the responsible colleagues about your post.
But can you log this as a support message to SAP as well, please?
After all, that is still the only way to get guaranteed atention by SAP (as opposed to community here) and also it is the way to get this into our official list of things to check and, if necessary, fix.
    Best,
    Karsten

  • SSO for partner applications

    Hi All,
I have installed 10g AS Release 2 on a system. I also have Application Express(formerly HTML DB) installed on the same system. I registered one of the HTML DB applications as partner applications and have put SSO authentication for it.
When I try to login the AS looks at the OID installed on the system(which I gave during installation). I want it to look at the Oracle gmldap.oraclecorp.com server OID so that only Oracle employees login.
Can anybody tell me how to change the OID and what are the entries to be give to configure it to gmldap.oraclecorp.com server??
    Thanks,

  • SSO requires double login for partner application

I'm having some trouble with SSO partner applications, when I login to a SSO protected application, the login works fine, but when I try to navigate to another application I'm presented with the login page again, the sso cookie seems to be working since clicking on the login button without entering the user credentials works. For example, I log in to portal and from there I navigate to a forms application that is on the same server and the same port (portal: https://apps.mydomain.com:4444/pls/portal --> forms: https://apps.mydomain.com/forms/frmservlet?config=app) I am presented with the login page and after clicking on the login button without entering any information everything works fine. This is happening for all the middle tiers that are connected to the same OID. Any ideas on what can be wrong on my configuration?

    Hi Andrey,
    The problem sounds really wierd.
Can you check your SSO settings for your Portal ECC system? I mean, please check the User Management/Administration properties in your System Adminstration of Portal System that points to ECC.
