SSO not accepting username and password after session timeout

Dear Charan,
We have the same issue after ATG upgrading from 12.1.1. to 12.1.3, Users are facing the same error.
Error:  The application you are trying to access requires you to sign in again even if you have signed in previously.
Sign In
I have set "inactivity period to 0" instead of 15 min, but did not disable the GITO.
After upgrade I did not de-register/register the SSO, does it requires?
Please advise if you have resolve this issue.

I have raise the SR and they asked me to follow the same document 1303564.1 solution 1, solution 2, solution 3, but it does not help still the issue is exist, users are upset to re-login issue.

All I have done is Oracle Apps12.1.1 upgraded to 12.1.3 and my OID/SSO version 10.1.4.3.

    I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your Administrator User account and password.
    It sounds like your computer is booting up to a network drive instead of your Macintosh HD.
    If this is the case, follow these steps:
    Startup Manager: How to select a startup volume
    Follow these steps:
    Turn on, or restart, your Mac.
    Immediately press and hold the Option key. After a few seconds, the Startup Manager should appear. The Startup Manager scans for available available volumes.
    Use the left and right arrow keys on the keyboard to select the volume you would like to use.
    Press the Return key on your keyboard to start up the computer from the volume you selected.
    If this does not resolve your issue, and you need to change your Administrator password, follow the steps below for Snow Leopard:
    OS X: Changing or resetting an account password
    In Mac OS X v10.6.8 or earlier, follow these steps to reset a password when there is only one administrator account on the computer, or if the original administrator account needs a password reset. "Original" administrator account refers to the one that was created immediately after installing Mac OS X. If the original administrator password is known, that administrator account may be used to reset the passwords of other administrator accounts using the steps described above. These steps require an optical drive; if your Mac does not have an optical drive and you have a Mac OS X v10.6 Install disc, see below.
    Start up from a Mac OS X Install disc (one whose version is closest to the version of Mac OS X installed).  Usually, you can start from the disc by putting it in your computer, restarting, and holding the C key. Or, put it in the computer and click the Install or Restore icon you see in the disc's main window (after which the computer will start from the disc without you needing to hold C). Or, you can use Startup Manager or the Startup Disk preference pane to select the Install disc.
    Choose a language, click the arrow button to continue,
    Mac OS X v10.6 or later: Choose Password Reset from the Utilities menu.
    Mac OS X v10.5 or v10.4: Choose Reset Password from the Utilities menu.
    Mac OS X v10.3: Choose Reset Password from the Installer menu.
    Tip: If you don't see this menu or menu choice, you're probably not started from the disc yet.
    Note: The default keyboard layout is U.S. English while started from the installation disc. If you use a keyboard layout other than U.S English, use the Input menu (the flag icon on the right side of the menu bar) to select the desired layout before typing a new password.
    Select your Mac OS X hard disk volume.
    Select the user name of your original administrator account.
    Important: Do not select "System Administrator (root)". This is actually the root user. You should not confuse it with a normal administrator account.
    Enter a new password.
    Click Save.
    Click the red button in the upper left corner to quit the application.
    Choose Quit Mac OS X Installer... from the Mac OS X Installer menu.
    Click Restart.
    After following these steps, you'll want to also follow the steps in this article.
    Mac OS X v10.6: Resetting the original administrator account password on a Mac that has no optical drive
    These steps require a second computer that has an optical drive.Note: If the second computer is a Mac, make sure Mac OS X v10.5.3 or later is installed. If the second computer is a PC, make sure the DVD or CD Sharing Update 1.0 for Windows is installed.
    Open "Remote Install Mac OS X" from the Utilities folder.
    Follow the onscreen instructions.

    Additional Information
    You can press the Eject key on the keyboard to eject DVD media.  Inserting a startup DVD will add that DVD to the list of startup volumes (as in the image above).  You can also attach FireWire or USB external hard drives to add to the list of startup volumes.
    This startup volume selection is temporary.  To set the default startup volume for your Mac after your computer is running, open System Preferences and choose Startup Disk from the View menu (in Mac OS X) or open the Boot Camp control panel (in Windows).

  • MDT 2013: bootstrap.ini not applying username and password for share access

    I customized my bootstrap.ini file to skip the welcome screen, set keyboard locale, and enter a service account username and password for share access.  The welcome screen skip and keyboard locale work beautifully but it's not applying the share username/password/domain
    at all.

    Basics - Server 2008 R2 - SP1, WDS,  MDT 2013
    Well all, I've done this at least 20 times today and the deployment share info is still wrong...
    Someone else built and messed with this thing so i'm trying to fix it.  We have 2 MDT servers and 1 WDS that is on the Production MDT.  I've turned the test MDT off.
    It was working fine, until I updated the deployment share ... after adding some drivers for the surface pro 3 for the pxe boot

    I've deleted all the .wim and associated files from all locations from the deployment share\boot folder and from the wds remote install\boot\x64\images folder where they are instead of the remote install\boot\images folder that everyone refers to.
    I really can't figure this one out... I know it's something simple I'm over looking but I can't see it..
    Any ideas..

  • IPad won't remember usernames and passwords after iOS 7 upgrade?

    Ever since I upgraded I have to re-enter my password and username on all of my sites.  They would remember me before.  I do not have this problem on my iPhone just my ipad.  Any suggestions?

    Just login to Amazon, Netflix and other sites in Safari. For each site after I entered the username and password, then after I pressed the "Log In" button, a pop-up message box appears:

                           passwords in the Passwords &amp;
                         AutoFill section of Safari settings
                                       Save Password
                                  Never for This Website
                                             Not Now
    This pop-up message is new after the iOS 7 upgrade that just started to appearing in the last few hours.

  • Buyer requesting username and password after I performed factory reset.  Possible scam?

    So on my iphone 4s operating iOS 7, I performed a factory reset using itunes.  I then sold my phone to someone online, and they are now asking me for a username and password to unlock the phone.  I thought that factory resetting would clear out all data? Is it possible he legitimitely needs my usename and password after a factory reset?
    Do you think the buyer is scamming me?  Should I give him my username and password?

    It does not. They need your Apple ID and password to use the phone. If Find My Phone is turned on then you can remotely erase the phone so it will restore as New. You would do this by logging into icloud.com with your Apple ID and password. Click on the Find My Phone icon. Then select your device under the Apple Devices list. When selected a small window dialog opens. Click on the Erase iPhone link.

  • JDev WS proxy not sending username and password

    Hi all, I've created a short web service which requires username authentication and testing it on the browser, the web service works fine.
    I then tried to create a web proxy (which is the new term for Web Service Stub in JDeveloper Studio Edition 10.1.3.0.4 right?) which calls this web service with username authentication.
    In the stub code, I added the following lines:

    I can get username/pwd working in 2 ways.
    First option
    1. On the service, do not generate any of the security settings (ie do not use the Secure Web Service option)
    2. Deploy to OC4J
    3. Go in to security at application level and add your user
    4. Generate proxy (yes, the new name!)
    5. add the myPort.setUsername and setPassword code to your PortClient main method
    6. run proxy
    Second Option
    1. On the service, use the Secure Web Service wizard - check the Authenticate using Text Password but uncheck Integrity and Confidentiality Options (signing and encryption)
    2. Deploy to OC4J and add user as above
    3. Generate proxy
    4. Secure Proxy - check Use Username to Authenticate
    5. Uncheck Inbound and Outbound Integrity and Encrypt/Decrypt
    6. Add setUsername and setPassword as above
    7. Run
    With both of these I was able to call services. If you still have any problems, let me know and we'll try again

  • Users prompted for username and password after sharing removed from servers

    Hello Community
        On Sharepoint 2010 Server using the UI in a 2 server farm with an intranet running on it and everything functions as it should.  However it was noticed that from a users computer when in "Windows Explorer" if "Network"
    is clicked the 2 servers are visible.
        The problem is that when the server are clicked on in Windows Explorer the files and folders on the hard drive of the servers are visible too.
        Subsequently I logged onto the server and when into "Properties' - "Sharing" and
    unchecked the checkbox to "Share this folder".
        That solved the problem of the users being able to see and access the files
    and folders on servers hard drives but now when the users log onto the intranet
    they are prompted for a user name and password and even when they provide the user
    name and password and the page is returned the prompt appears on the screen again(then they cancel out).
        What can be done about the user being prompted for username and password without sharing the drives on the servers ?

  • Safari not remembering username and password

    Hello, I have my settings set so that Safari remembers my username and passwords to make logins faster. One site I use for school has had my username and password saved since I first started using it. But all of a sudden, it's not remembering my information anymore. When I go onto the site, it doesn't automatically fill in everything like it used to. And the only way I know how to add usernames and passwords to Safaris list is when it prompts you to when on a new site. How can I "re save" my username and pasword? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    You might be able to fix it by deleting the saved password from your keychain in the Keychain Access application. Search for it by the domain name of the site.

  • IMac not remembering username and password

    Hi,
    I recently bought a Qwest wireless DSL modem and set it up with my iMac.
    I chose my username and password for my network. I also set my security to have the network invisible.
    It worked great for weeks, but the last several days when I would shutdown and then boot my iMac Leopard can't find my network and I have to manually enter my username and password in again.
    I check the box so that it will remember, but no luck.
    I reset the router but that doesn't help either.
    Any suggestions?

    have you changed user accounts? that could cause issues with your keychains. you should be able to see if your login credentials are saved under Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access.
    if not, try creating a new location under system prefs > network.
    reconfigure your airport connection under the new location.

  • Firefox is not remembering usernames and passwords

    Hi
    i've just installed Firefox 15.0 (windows xp) and it no longer remembers usernames and passwords on at least 3 websites where previously it would when i have "remember me" ticked. For example, twitter.
    I have checked Tools/Options and I have Accept Cookies from Sites ticked with no exceptions
    please help

    After a few experiments i have noticed that i had somehow accidentally checked "Always use private browsing mode" so there is no issue here and it can be closed. thanks ....

    With the change in software the Apple TV will not accept id or password. On the computer both are acceptable.

    Did you create a new Apple ID or did you change the email address that is your Apple ID?

    Content and Apple IDs -
    Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with one Apple ID with a new Apple ID.

  • Is it secure to store username and password in session?

    I need to call web services from an ADF page. As I know the only way that I can free users from entering username/passwords again is keeping username/password in session variables.
    then in the proxy code I can call the web service through such a code:
    myPort.setUsername(sessionUserName);
    myPort.setPassword(sessionPassWords);
    myPort....
    I can write an agent or gateway at the service side to do authentication in the service.
    Is it a secure way and is there a better way to protect web services and still have access to them via ADF pages?

    Hi,
    MDS is not a polic store nor an identity management system. It does not really make sense what you are asking for. Instead of jazn-data.xml you can use OID and RDBMS for holiding user identities and policies. If it is only user identities and groups you want to move to another store then you have OID, RDBMS, Active Directory. OAM etc.. The jazn-data.xml file btw. is used at design time only. Upon deployment - by default - users and groups are created from jazn-data.xml into the integrated WLS LDAP server. Policies in jazn-data.xml file are copied to system-jazn-data.xml of the target WLS server.

  • IPad 2 Does not retain names and passwords after iOS-upgrade  to 8.0.2

    After the last series of iOS upgrades (device current status is 8.0.2 , latest available) the iPad2-16G WIFI version, does not retain any names and passwords anymore. Function (Safari) is enabled.
    Re-booting, clearing memory etc did not solve anything).
    Is this a known version 8.0 bug or .......?

    Make sure "Private Browsing" is disabled.
