SSO to a website with applet as a home page

Hi,
we have a scenario in which we need to setup a SSO to a website which has applet as its homepage. I am trying to use the application integrator.
did anybody else implemented this scenario, if so, could you please share your experiences or ideas with me.
thank you

You could use the mysapsso2 control for .NET and write a wrapper.  This would have to be an external page/application that would check for the existance of the SSO cookie and then do a redirect.  This has to be external because PDK does not support redirect.  At least this is my understanding.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: ''This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.''
To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
    #Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

  • Firefox always launches with three tabs -- my home page, a month old site from Slate and Huffington Post. Even uninstalling and reintalling doesnt solve problem.

Every time Firefox is launched, it opens with three tabs -- my home page, a month-old age from the slate website and the home page from the huffington post. EVERYTIME. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox and the problem persists.

  • How do i stop websites from hijacking my firefox home page setting? this hijacker didn't even identify itself with a logo.

at least two times my firefox preference home page has been changed. bing did it the first time, and there have been others. this time it is an unknown location. the new home page has no logo, and i'm not sure who it is. i've got avg protection software, the purchased version, for protection, but now i'm not sure if we are secure. not even sure how this hijack occurred. when i shut the system down using sleep, the system said new software updates would be installed on startup for firefox. the next time i started up, there was this new home page. is there anyway to prevent this from happening in the first place. if i install new software and the home page is changed, i can correct that, but this change was out of the blue. i think it was associated with firefox, but i'm not really sure. haven't installed new software for ages.
    can anyone help with prevention?

Please create a screenshot of your Firefox by following the guide mentioned at [[How do I create a screenshot of my problem?]].
Once you've done this, attach the saved screenshot file to your forum post by clicking the '''Browse...''' button below the ''Post your reply'' box. This will help me to visualize the problem.
Also, I am assuming you have not clicked any links saying something like 'Set this page as my homepage'? This may seem a stupid question, but you may have inadvertently done this by pressing Enter on a page.

  • SwithcHosts was installed, not understandable, uninstalled, causing problems. FF opens with New tab, not Home Page

That's SwitchHosts. Uninstalled it, removed from profile, but still FF starts with New tab and not Home Page. Is there a line in about:config that needs changing???

That didn't work. But, I did remember to do a System Restore, and that seems to have fixed it. SwitchHosts is no friend of mine. Even the MVP program has limits. I wish these programs did not try to take over my computer and they should have good uninstall features.
    Thanks for the reply.

  • Firefox only loads book-marked websites. no websites load from firefox default home page searh or address bar inputs. HELP

I Run Windows 7 Ultimate. I use Avast anti Virus. Google Chrome works fine. Firefox started not responding to searches queries from its default home page. When I input an address in the address line i also had no reaction. When i clicked om a bookmark it does load that particular website. I have uninstalled firefox completely. Reloaded the latest version downloaded from Mozilla. Still have the same problem. I did a Reset Firefox. No luck. I changed the proxy settings to "no proxy". I have done the "disable IPv6" in about:config. I have created the "network.dns.disablePrefetch" boolean. Still no luck. Please help.

  • Help with hyperlinks back to home page

    Hi all,
I have just uploaded my website and found my links don't work back to my home page once I have uploaded my webpage.
The link works from the home page to the other pages but then you have to press the 'back' button in order to view the others - any thoughts ?
Also any ideas on how to change the web address bar as for some reason it is showing my web address twice ?
    Thanks in advance guys !
    SiAles

Usually this is caused by some object covering the navigation. Do a Command A on the page in iWeb to show all and see if you can see anything.
Otherwise post the URL to a page.
Look at this page to see how to remove the site name from the URL...

  • Cannot open I website with my pc at home. tried it on an other pc and the website works. what can i do to fix it?

We have a website at work www.trag.gr The site works but as soon as you skip intro and you try to enter the link for the Therapeutic Riding World Congress (http://www.frdi-athens2012.gr/) the link will not open. Tried it through another PC and the site works just fine. From my pc there is a message that there is a firewall that does not allow Mozilla to open the page.
What can I do to fix this?

You need to transfer the purchased content from the iPad to the iTunes library on the laptop. Read the post from virtualgeo on how to accomplish what you want to do.
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/11527071#11527071
If you are running iOS 5 and backing up to iCloud, there is really no need to go through all of that - IMO - but if you want to, it is possible to do so.
If you decide to do this, You will now have iTunes telling you that the iPad has been synced to another iTunes library each time that you sync with the other computer.

Is there a compatibility view button for sites that are designed for older Internet Explorers? I have Explorer 9.

  • Every time I start Firefox in my admin account, it checks my add-ons, then opens with 2 tabs: my home page and the intro to FF8. Why does it act like it's the first time every time? This doesn't happen in my regular user account. Thanx!

  • Every time I start Firefox, it checks my add-ons, then opens with 2 tabs: my home page and the intro to FF9. Why does it act like it's the first time every time. Thank you.

This happened after the upgrade to firefox 9.0.1. I am considering to reinstalling the browser but Im afraid i will loose all my saved data (passwords, bookmarks etc).

    Hi Sliverakos,
You should look at [https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Firefox+has+just+updated+tab+shows+each+time+you+start+Firefox this article about that specific issue] and the article [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Preferences_not_saved Preferences not saved]. These should give you all the information you need!
    If that doesn't work:
    # Type about:config in the address bar
    # Click ''I'll be careful, I promise'' if prompted
    # In the Filter input field type ''startup''
    # Double click on startup.homepage_override_url
    # Delete the text string and click ''OK''
    # Close Firefox and reopen the window to verify that it has worked.
    Hopefully this helps!

  • I tried to update my home page with yahoo through a download with msi explorer ver. 8 and now Mozilla can't bring up a homepage. Did I download something wrong? I' m a novice.

I tried to download the free IE version 9 available with yahoo as my home page(because it's easier for me to use.) It said my computer won't except that version but will take the Micro soft version 8, so I downloaded it that way. Now the home page won't load because it read yahoo.com/http abd Mozilla doesn't recognize this as a proper site.. I deleted the file in my computer but still can't open my home page now.I think Mozilla already updated itself and now I see I need to renew my macafee security as well.

You're right about IE9: it requires Vista or Windows 7. IE8 is the latest IE for Windows XP.
Usually updating IE has no effect on Firefox, so I'm not sure what happened there. I assume you got an official download directly from Microsoft, but if not, perhaps it was customized by someone else? (I don't really trust unofficial versions.)
You should be able to reset your Firefox home page by visiting the full URL http://www.yahoo.com/ and then using the techniques listed in this article: [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/How%20to%20set%20the%20home%20page How to set the home page | How to | Firefox Help].
    Any luck?
