i know i've asked this in the past but am looking for afirmation. on account of i'm drunk. will charging my zen micro when it's not dead kill the life of the battery? if it's at 2 bars i plug it in overnight. why not? is this bad?

Haha, well I can say that charging when not fully flat is a good thing for Lithium Ion batteries. A lot of people are used to the full cycling that was necessary with NiMH and NiCad, but LI is different.

I have an application that is done using SSRS on visual studio and it connects to the report server on SQL server 2008 environment.
I've been changing the existing reports using visual studio 2008 and modifying the reports on the report server. How do I add a new report to the application ? I created a new report and deployed it on the report server but it didn't show up in the application.
I can access the application source code on visual studio 2010 and TFS (Team Foundation). Thanks.

Help, Battery wont charge even though light is green

My Ibook G4 has stopped charging, it will show the amber light as if it is charging but the little battery wont show charge on my Ibook. Anyone have an ideas?

Can anyone help - battery trouble!

Hey I was wondering if anyone can help me. My ipod is 2 years old now and even from the start the battery life has never been that good. having recently having to reset the whole thing i have had even more trouble with the batter life. I plug it into the wall then it says it is fully charged after a couple of minutes (it used to take hours before) and then now after charging in such a short time says the battery is full and im getting enough power for only three songs. can i reset the battery or do something else to help!?

Hello to everyone! The battery of my ipod touch 5 was damaged. So I decided to change the battery by myself because the warranty was expired. My friend told me that he was able to change it. But after the change, ipod will not turn on.. Only if it is connect to power it turn on, but appears always the apple logo, and then it turn off.. endless.. it's a loop. what happens? My friend damaged the new battery? Help me please! (i'm sorry for my english but i'm italian.. hope i explained well the problem)

NEED SERIOUS HELP; BATTERY.

Today I went out and the rain was really really bad and my phone being in my pocket got a bit wet but when I looked at it it was completely gone and dead so I got home and plugged it in and it showed the 'no battery' indication so I put it in rice and put it in the airing cupboard I now have it out and it is no longer showing the no battery but is showing the charging symbol but after about 5-10 minutes it turns back off the LED light comes on and it goes through the same process I really do not no what to do so anyone that has had this problem or knows how to solve it please help me as soon as possible thank you

Help battery to charge or just run plugged in?

I am new to the ibook. All I know is I can stay on the computer awhile and before I know it the batteryis run down then I charge it. If I am going to use it for a long period of time, should I just take the battery out and plug it in? Can I just plug it in at any time and take the battery out ? Do I need to let the battery goet down low before I do that?

Here's my recommendation:
If your iBook will mainly be sitting on a desk, leave it plugged in.
If it will be elsewhere, alternate between plugging it in and running on battery power.
ie: run on battery for 2-3 hours (depending on how long your battery usually lasts) then plug in for a while.
Most users recommend a full charge, discharge, full charge cycle once a month to keep your battery at its best.

Dear all, need some advice on how solving this issue. My macbook just had its battery totally drained and now it is not recognized by it.

It seems this is a "common" issue as apple guys are listing as top 3 in the FAQs...
Need help as I am travelling outside US on a project and will be dead without baterries.

Macbooks have worldwide warranties - so maybe if you have your warranty card with you - and perhaps even if you don't - you can go into an Apple shop and get it replaced - go to the genius bar and give 'em a big smile...

Help- Battery Problems

but now I could really use someone's help!
my macbook 13 inch aluminum hard body (2009?) will shut off without warning. The weird thing is when I plug it in, the green indicator lights on the side will be about half full.
IT will shut off even if i don't have a lot of apps running.

You need to replace your battery.
Your Full Charge Capacity (949) is incredibly low; the original capacity when the computer was new was about 5400.
Is your machine under warranty? If so, it certainly can't hurt to bring the machine to an Apple store and ask if the battery could be replaced at no cost to you. The batteries in the older MacBooks should hold on to 80% or more of their original capacity for about 300 cycles, and yours is only a bit over 300.
If you can't get a free replacement, you'll have to pay for a new battery to stop the sudden shutdowns.

I have a 15 GB Ipod. I charge it over night and sometimes longer. It says it is fully charged, and it plays for about 45 minutes- 1 hour. After that it says that it has no more battery. Please help, I have no idea what to do.

If you have a 15GB, then I presume you have a 3rd generation iPod, with the 4 red-backlit buttons above a scroll wheel?
If you're still using the stock battery in it, you'll need a new battery. Batteries should be replaced every 12-18 months, depending on usage. Your iPod is probably 4 or so years old, so it is definately overdue.

At Ease .. Young One . Patience is th only solution to your problem . What your facing is a Flash Drive Skip > Minor problem I'd Say. What your gonna do is an Ipod Reset.
Steps for an IPOD Reset:
Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
Tip: If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.
If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.
After that get the latest IPOD updater Software (from Ipod Site )and LOad it on to your Computer.
It should work like clock work from there.

I've had my ipod nano for...I'm guessing a little less than half a year. I listen to my ipod every day, all the time. My battery lasts about an average of like, maybe...only 3 hours. And it should last A LOT more than that. Sooo, what can I do???

Help battery does not charge

My iPhone does not charge unless I turn it off what i do ?

I would try a different charger to make sure there isn't a problem with the charger causing it to only work when the iPhone is powered down.
If that does not help, then a visit to the Apple store genius bar would be a good idea to have the techs test the iPhone to see why it is not charging normally. If you do that, make a backup of the contents, best to do that in iCloud, so if the decision is to replace the iPhone you can restore your content. If it is backed up in iCloud, the Apple techs can restore while you wait.

IPod Help (battery)

I just got my 60 gig ipod video but it won't seem to work. I installed the cd you get but it still won't work. When I use the USB line they gave me and hook it to my computer, nothing happens. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or is the battery dead?

I'm actually having a similar problem. I've had my iPod about 3 1/2 months now and lately it's been cutting off, telling me that there's no battery power, even if I've just charged it. I've reset it and it's worked for a minute and then does the same thing. I'll have to try resetting it 2 or 3 times and then the battery will kick back in. But it's been happening for a couple of weeks now. What's the deal? I've noticed it's been doing this since I updated with the 9/23 update.
