Stabilisation & transition effects not working together

Hi all,
I have a problem with FCPX: when I stabilise 2 clips and then apply a simple transition between the 2, the result is incredibly poor: during the transition the frame jumps quickly between different formats causing a dreadful result.
Anybody knows how to avoid this?

Transitioning effect not working properly (cross dissolve)

I had a clip and split it in two in FCP. I took the later half and imported to AE to make my effect. The plan was to import it back to FCP and add a cross dissolve between the two half-clips to make it look like the effect fades in. Makes sense, right?
Weeeell, the darn thing won't let me add an editable transition. I place the two perspective clips side by side (so they continued with each other), right clicked the part where they met and added the cross dissolve. It only added a one frame effect to the later (AE) clip. I've tried even going through the menus and doing the cross dissolve, but it still does the same thing. Is there something that I must have missed or something extra I'm not doing? All I want to do is have my two halves of a clips edited together with a dissolve. Can anyone help me?

Basically, a handle is media that extends beyond what exists in the timeline. You can use the search feature of this forum for hours of amusing and informative reading.
When you exported out of fcp to ae, you effective lost any possible handle, because you started at what you wanted to be the middle of the dissolve.

Edege animate: Parallax and Spotlight = Not working together?...

I am learning, and have a small composition on Edge Animate CC 2014 on Scrolling Parallax, which works very well, and now I want to add a spotlight... but do not working together.
My code is:

Why Filter/ Render/ Lighting Effect not work in CS6?
It's not work only in CS6 Beta or in anything else :-/. It's Useful with me

A bit more information would be helpful. What is happening on your system when you go to lighting effects?
What system are you running on? What video card are you using? Are you using the most recent driver?
Do check our system FAQ as GPU is requried for lignting effects to work properly.

Is anyone having issues with Adobe After Effects not working in Maveriks? Premeire, Photoshop, Audition all work, but not AE. No update from Adobe available.

Z3 bluetooth amd wifi not working together

hello , the bluetooth and wifi is not working together, when streaming videos through wifi and audio is connected to the bluetooth outspeaker , wifi connection drops for 30seconds and re-connecting , Sony please fix this bug.. than this phone is good. till now.

Hi I had the same issue a Week back with my Sony Xperia Z3 compact -- Model # D5833.
An auto software update in lollipop and the Wifi and Bluetooth stopped working.
After speaking the the customer service expert (on chat) --Xperia Support center-- initially he advised me1. To start the phone in a safe mode -- (press the power button for 3-4 secs you get the option) but that didnt help.2. Next he asked me to do a repair through Sony Companion which I had installed on my laptop --- did it --reinstalled the whole software after wiping the complete software including cache--but to no avail.3. Finally when he had no solutions left.. he asked me to show it at the authorized Sony service center as it was under warranty.
I followed his instructions as did not want to experiment with my 7 months old handset, went next day to the Sony authorized Service Centre India (Mumbai) (17th Aug'2015) they said its a software problem and needed a day to rectify. But when I called them the next day to check on my phone status, they shared its a hardware problem and have sent across to another center which will do the hardware repair and will take maximum a week. So the week is going to end after a couple of days....I will keep you guys posted on the update. The suggestion which I would like to share is, if you are having a similar problem run and go to the authorized service centre and leave the rest to the experts, without experimenting yourself.
So once I will receive my handset in a weeks time ....I will share you the status....on the exact issue with the device.

Transitions will not work

In premiere, i have two clips with a crossfade transition in the middle. However, the crossfade transition does not work. Not in the previews, and also not in the final render. Thanks for the help!

Thank you for the info. It does sound like a problem with the Handles. Here are two images, that will hopefully make it a bit more clear:
The second one shows what happens if you do not have adequate Handles - the last frame of the Clip has to be repeated. Sounds like what you are seeing. It is shown as A-B Roll editing as an example. On the single Track in PrPro, you will not see the Clips this way. They are on the same Track, but this is essentially what is happening on that single Track.
The "cure" is to go into each Clip, let's call them Clip A and Clip B. Set the Out Point for Clip A back by the number of Frames of 1/2 of the Duration of the Transition. This would be 1 sec at your FPS rate (25 or 30 basically). Do the same for the In Point on Clip B. Transitions will work then.
If you look carefully at your two Clips, where they butt up, there will be a little triangle at the upper edge. When there are no Handles in either, each Clip will have its own little triangle, and will form what appears to be an even larger triangle. This tells you that you are looking at the exact end of one Clip and the beginning of the other. You need to adjust those In & Out Points for your Transitions.

Cross Dissolve transition does not work after cutting the tails of both ends.

I used to apply the Cross Dissolve video transition a while ago and never had any problems. My Cross Dissolve is not working for whatever reason. I usually split parts of the movie using the razor tool and cut the tail of both parts I just split, than apply the Cross Dissolve, but it does not work at all. I dont know if I am doing something wrong here, I need your help if you can help me with that. I have also tried to apply Film Dissolve but I have the same problem.

I am trying to put together a recruiting video. I was out recording a bunch of people talking about the organization, when I am working with something like this I usually try to shorten the 3 or 5 minute clip I have from one person and just connect the parts of the clip that need to be on the screen, that requires several cuts during the clip and merge the good parts together using the cross dissolve. It is very simple and I have done several times, but for whatever reason during certain parts of the clip when applied will not work. The clips are usually 1 to 3 minutes long and I need to extract the good parts making no more than 1 minute for each peson talking.

Ken Burns Effect not working as expected.

Hi,
I have created a slideshow in iPhoto 08 and want to have all of the slides use the ken burns effect except the first one (i want this to be a 20 second title photo). To get this to work, i have disabled the Automatic Ken Burns effect in the settings menu and then clicked the Ken Burns checkbox in all of the photos from the second one onwards. Even with these checkboxes selected, the photos just stay still and the ken burns effect does not work. Am i going about this the wrong way?
Any ideas appreciated.

I believe that if you do not use the automatic ken burns effect you need to set the effect for each photo - pick one or two and with the KB slider to the left set the view for the beginning photos and then slide the slider to the right and set the end view - then it will transition between those two (I'm thinking that you can turn auto automatic and override it for just the first slide by making the start and end the same so the transition does not really do anything
Try that first (it is easier )

Grow & shrink effect not working

Hello all, my issue is I cannot get the grow effect to work. I am a newbie so I have been watching tutorials. The link to my site shows a bouquet in the center of the page that I was using as a test for the grow effect. The 2 bouquet images on the right of the page is also set to grow bout I dont know if it can grow to the left. Anyway, I just cant get anything to work. All the pictures just appear in full size.
I have the behavior set to grow, from 0% to 100% on click. Here is the link. http://www.stevenleespage.com/bouquets.html

I wasn't so sure that I posted in the correct location. Sorry for that. I new to forums and don't know my way around.
I didnt even know of a Spry assets folder. I thought Dreamweaver took care of that. The video tutorials didn't talk about that and it looked to simple.

Opacity Effect Not Working As Expected

I noticed that whenever I animate the opacity of a clip that has a gamma correction efftect applied to it, the opacity does not work. Has anyone else seen this?

Video effects not working on nested sequences in Premiere Pro CS5

Hi -
I am having some trouble with Premiere ProCS5. I have a project with a few clips which I put together in one sequence. I put this sequence into another sequence. There I will add one or two tracks of additional images and apply color correction.
The problem is: None of the video effects I drag onto the sequence (which now is a nested sequence) have any effect. Whatever I change in the effect controls will not sho up in the monitor. Audio effects do work, though. Furthermore, none of the tracks above the nested clip are displayed. To clarify: The nested track is on V1, another clip is on V2 and an image is on V3. Only V1 gets displayed.
I know this is supposed to work and it actually does in another project created in the same version on the same machine with the same kind of material. But no matter how often I create a new project, applying video effects to a nested sequence just does not work.
Even more strange is the fact that my applied effects DO show up in the "Export Settings" window. They DON'T, however, in the final rendered file. I would suggest this is a bug.
What could be the reason for this behaviour?

It can help if you Toggle Track Output to ON. The visibility icon on the left side on each track.

Downloaded generators, titles & effects not working

Hi everyone, im new here.. i've been encouraged by fox_m to post my "dilemma" here.. hope we can fix it!
I need some help with some generators, titles and effects i downloaded... i put them in the motions folder > title folder but when i open FCP, some work, some have the red screen with an exlacamation mark.. my motions folder do not have categories, they are just blank folders (generators, titles, effects, transitions etc). the way i do it is i just drag the downloads and put them in there.. as i said, some work, some get that exclamation mark. how do i fix this? i even tried fox_m's advice to download through a pkg installer, still didnt work.. help!

ask your source of these add-ons.

Play back of audio is working but sound effects are not working.

I am expecting the sound to be played in the right headphone/speaker.
But the sound is played in both the headphones.
I used wave device and generated the output.wav file.
In that file also the sound is played in both the headphones.
I used the following settings for configuring OpenAL alsoft.conf.
Someone please help me the error in the above code.
