Stacking issue..

Hi ! I'm using LR 2.4 (camera raw 5.4) on a Mac. The problem I'm having is this :
I want to edit a file in Nik Software so I do an "edit in"...mplah mplah mplah and select "stack with original". The file that returns to LR (although stacked with the original) has lost its rating, so I suddenly lose it (as I have a rating filter on...)
This behavior has only been the standard since a couple of days. It used to work fine until now.
Any suggestions ?

FMS 2 License Stack issue

Due to increased traffic on our FMS we need to stack another
license. We have 2 licenses on 2 servers. We would like to take the
license from server 2 which is not in use and stack with the
license already on server 1.
When I try and add the serial via the console it invalidates
both licenses and switches to developer edition. I have checked the
admin log and this shows the following error - "Volume licenses can
not be mixed with any other kind. Switching to developer edition."
If I remove either serial key the remaining key becomes valid again
and so switches back to 150 connections mode.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Graham. After finally getting through to there
technical support I was able to speak to someone who looked into
the license keys and found that the first one we purchased was a
volume licence. They then issued us with a new License key which
enabled us to stack with no problems.
Now running some tests on FMS3 will deffinatly look to use
this soon.

3750x stack issue adding additional unit

I have a 3750X stack with 2 48 port members that have been up and running for over a year without issue.
I'm trying to add a new 24 port 3750X. I've made sure the priority is correct, and I've added a provision for the new member in the stack.
they are all running the exact same version of IOS.
I think the problem is, the version of the stack. the existing stack states it is version 1.45, while the new member states it is version 6.45
According to what I've read, the way to upgrade the stack version is to upgrade the IOS, but the IOS is already at the version of the new member.
I've not tried to reboot the existing stack because it's in high usage production.
here's the data I think is relevant. if anyone has a clue or needs more info, let me know.

Bug? - Windows - Explorer - Stacking Issue

Explorer is having an issue stacking on its own shortcuts when Pinned to the Taskbar. By default Windows 7-10 will open the native directory if Explorer is executed via the Taskbar when the .lnk reference the explorer executable and stack multiple windows
until explorer is killed.
We have a workaround in Windows 7 & 8.1 where the .lnk properties "Target" field is altered to the directory we need explorer to start in if it is launched from the Taskbar. Example :
Original Target : "%windir%\explorer.exe"
New Target : "D:\"
This allows Explorer to open to the directory and still stack new windows opened. In Window 10, the .lnk Target for Explorer is grayed out with the string "File Explorer". We attempted to create a standard .lnk on the Taskbar with the Target "D:\"
and it shows the Explorer icon as normal, but when you open it, a new Explorer Process opens on the Taskbar and the original .lnk fades out like it was never opened.

Stacks issue after firmware update 1.2, won't fan anymore only grid.

This issue was resolved when I updated to the 10.5.2 Leopard OS but now that I've updated the firmware with the most recent update yesterday the stacks function in the dock went back to just being able to show the grid format and when I choose the list format it comes up in a standard list (menu) view not the nice new fan view.
Has anyone else had this issue yet? Has anyone been able to fix it? I can see from the install log that there were errors and it looks like they were specifically with the dock/stacks portion but I'm not code savvy enough to know how to fix them.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well, at the risk of insulting your level of expertise - is your Dock on the side instead of the bottom? There's no fan available with side-docked Docks, either in function or the popup menu.
If that's not the case, try trashing the Dock's plist and see if that makes it behave.
Please keep in mind we see many, many beginners or otherwise naive users asking questions which have simple answers, and no insult is intended when a suggestion is made that you've already tried; it's hard to assess a writer's knowledge level. When your original post said "and when I choose the list format it comes up in a standard list (menu) view not the nice new fan view" it made it hard to determine your level for 2 reasons: You referred to the "new fan view" which is not new in 10.5.2, the upgrade you said you just installed, and if you "chose the list format" why would you expect it to show you a fan view? That's probably why Bruce told you to select "fan view". It was probably just a less-than-perfect sentence on your part, but you might be able to see, in retrospect, that it sounded a little newbie-ish.
Bruce tried to help you and we can only hope that your reaction does not make him hesitate to help someone else lest he get snapped at again!

I have found out what is the root cause.
In stack, I have 4 switches:
1. Member
2. Master
3. Member
4. Member
But right now I have next picture
1. Member - status "Ready"
2. Master - status "Ready"
3. Member - status "Provisioned"
4. Member - status "Ready"
5. Member - status "Ready"
I have checked MAC addresses, I have noticed, that member 3, became member 5.
For resolving this issue, I just need make member 5 member 3, but I don't know how to do it exactly.
My plan is:
- remove member 3.
- change number of the member 5 to member 3
Is it correct?

In fact the new spnego wizard of the SAP Enterprise Portal 7.3 is used to get the the two keys files. The SAP Jvm is used in fact with the 1.6.1.
And in fact , it functions perfectly sometimes. but during the test of massive access ( More than 30 conurent users), I have this error that comes frequently.

Photos stack issue in Aperture

Quick question: I have photos stacked in my Aperture project. I do not want any photos except the "pick" of the stack to appear on my ipad. Right now, all photos in every stack appear.
I have an ipad2 with latest OS update, and run Snow Leopard with latest update, with Aperture 3.1.3.

When you sync are you getting thei mages from an album or the project?
If you create an album of the stacked images and make the stack pick also the album pick only those photos appear in the album. If you then sysnc from that album what happens?

My iPhone 4S Bluetooth will not connect with either my iPad1, MacBook Pro or Automobile BT. Suspect a stack issue in new BT 4.0 (BTLE) release. Has any one discovered fix to this. I have tried this with two separate 4S phones and have same problem..

One further clarification. I am most concerned with connecting with BT in automobile. I can use WiFi to tether to my other devices. I cannot change the car very easily! My iPhone 3G had no connection issues.

I'm new. Same bluetooth problem. Will not pair with my 2010 VW GTI w NAV system, or my MacBook Pro 17" (just discovered the MacB prob.)
When I initially discovered the problem I went to an Apple Store. Genius was excellent but requested that I check with VW. VW people were very helpful. A mechanic had an iphone 4s. He came out to the car ... He could not pair my phone but he could pair his phone ... So, it's the iphone ... Back to the Apple Store ... the genius was really good. He replaced the iphone. Great ! So, back out to the car & it would not pair, still. So ... can't be the phone , right. Back to VW. The Audi manager had an iphone 4S. He paired his phone with my car. He could not pair my phone to my car. He tries my phone in a new 2011 GTI sitting on the lot ... my phone pairs with it just fine. So ... it's my car. So ... make an appointment to get the bluetooth module replaced. They replace the Bluetooth module. My iphone will not pair. They end up pairing 2 different iphone 4S to my car ... but not my iphone 4S. My iphone 4S will also not pair with another 2010 GTI they have in for service. Though the 2 iphone 4S
pair with the second GTI just fine. They even try pairing my iphone with a brand new 2012 GTI in the showroom ... yep ... it paired fine. So ... ????????????????
They are going to update my nav software next (tomorrow), Hopeful ??? not really ... Will be taking my computer to Apple Store next ... maybe if they can discover why it will not pair to my MacBook Pro it will lead to a solution for the GTI ??? I'll get back to you.

IE Stacking Issue and Video Playback

This page works great in every browser except IE. It's giving me a weird stacking problem and the video isn't even appearing on the page (although the audio is working). Any suggestions as to why this is happening? Thanks.

I don't know much about .asp but it shouldn't make much difference - in the generated output file, the doctype should be the first line to prevent IE going in quirks mode. Your video seems to have contradicting styles applied to it. I would suggest combining into one style. I tried turning off the latter position:absolute and it didn't seem to affect anything - in fact I removed that whole style and nothing 'seemed' to have changed but do some testing yourself and see what happens. I would also add a z-index so it sits above everything else on the page.

3750 stacking issue - one link is down

i have a stack of 5 cisco 3750 switches , it was working fine but now its showing one link is down i have replace the stack cable for the same link twice but no luck . please advise me . below is the stack out put

Switch stack issue

Hi Everyone,
I have 5 swicth as a stack. When I try to ping SVI from the first switch, I recieved a time out but when I plug the pc into the second switch, I recieved reply time. all the ports are in the same vlan, and pc operating system is Windows 7.
Any suggestion?

Satellite A660-11M Windows 7 x64 BSOD - bluetooth stack issue

It's been a while since i've turned my bluetooth mouse off due to a not handled kernel mode exception caused by tosrfbd.sys+2ca5a.
Do you know where I can submit the related windows minidump?
On my laptop is installed last relase of Toshiba BT stack.

View stack issue creation

Lets say you have the following view stack with the following
components in it. When i turn on creationPolicy="all"
Any of the components will not call their
creationComplete="loadData()" any ideas as to why?

The problem is in one view stack page i have a drop down list
that you can select different companies then in the other viewstack
page it has a display of charts. So lets say the drop down country
list is in selectedIndex=1 the charting is in selectedIndex=2 when
i select different companies from the dropdown component in
selectedindex=1 it will change the data in selectedindex=2

Windows 8.1 and ipv6 device stack issues

Hello, so here is the thing:
ZTE Integrated access device (gateway) connected to the ONT. It has ipv6 support which ISP still doesn't use and there is no way of disabling it in router even though I've obtained ISP's admin account. So many ipv6 options and I cannot dare to change anything
except ipv6 dhcp on/off which doesn't have any effect.
2 machines - one desktop with gigabit realtek lan, second one laptop with centrino n 1030 wireless, all latest drivers, using fixed ip addresses
1. Homegroup - no way they can connect to each other (yes, I've tried all possible ideas and known fixes listed here) - I always get invalid password no matter on which machine I try to create homegroup.
2. Shares using accounts - here is the funny thing: they see each other but cannot access each others shared folder unless I disable ipv6 in both adapters properties. Even then it's a hit and miss solution. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
3. Regarding to above: Printer sharing also sometimes it works, sometimes it cannot access.Reboot fixes.
More humor here: connecting both machines to my leftover adsl router without any kind of ipv6 support - everything starts working fine.
So what to do before I start to burn stuff around? Mind you, I have tried at least 30 possible ideas including formatting both machines and completely resetting gateway.
I see that there is a regedit hack which forces windows 8.1 to use ipv4 communication instead of ipv6. Also, since gateway support remote syslog server and log levels I've been thinking to setup it on my machine and log everything.
