StageWebView supports mailto: and tel: ???
I have a simple web page with a link for a phone number and a link for email. When I view that page in the browser of my smartphone (Android/HTC/Evo) a click on the telephone link launches the native dialer with the number already entered. and when I click the email link the phone launches the default email client with the email address already populated.
BUT, when I access that very same web page inside an Adobe Air app using stageWebView, clicking on either link causes a page not found message!!!
How do I get stageWebView to properly handle these links as the default browser does?
I have the same problem, is there a solution?

If you run into the "another installation" message even after the reboot of the PC (which is an excellent idea by HTP ProXy), reregistering your Windows Installer Service is worth a try.
First, launch a command prompt as an administrator. In your Start search, type cmd then right-click on the cmd that comes up and select "Run as administrator".
At the command prompt:
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Restart the PC and try another reinstalll. -
when registering my iphone on itunes the message - the sim card insertedin this iphone does not appear to be supported - can anyone shed some light on this and tell me a way around this problem? the phone itself is an english phone and tried to register with a spanish sim and that message appeard, so i tried with my iphone sim which is english and the same message appeared!
thanksIs the English sim from the original carrier as that is usually the message you get with a carrier locked phone.

I asked if AVCHD files can be played on Mac and the support site says to simply click on the icon and quick time will play it. A big lie. Just say it won't support the file type and tell us what apps to get. anybody?
I also had issues opening AVCHD files on case-sensitive filesystems.
You can try these steps to solve the issue:
Right click on the AVCHD file and select 'Show Package Contents'
Right click on the BDMV file and select 'Show Package Contents'
Rename index.bdm to INDEX.BDM (it seems that all files in the BDMV folder should be in UPPERCASE for Quicktime to open the AVCHD file).
Go back twice and try again to double-click on the AVCHD file (Quicktime should open a window showing the multiple clips, as expected). -

If the issue persists, I recommend you install Exchange 2007 SP3 RU7 and check the result. Also, ensure that Exchange 2010 SP2 RU1 or later version is installed. Old Exchange version may lead to the CAS-to-CAS proxy incompatibility.

I ca not install Itunes 10.5 on vista or windows 7 my iPhone 4 is much slower and freezes and also certain apps and also certain features will not work on the phone now that I cannot update it to ios5. The battery of my macbook died in 2 years and when I call the servise center to inform them cuse i personally am dissapointed but at the same time want to know the reason why something like this has happened ith a product of apple. Mr ****** (sr advisor) gets outrightly rude and tells me sorry but don't think that you can be an exception to it. Extremely shocked at this approach by apple. Then throughout the conversation he chose to mute me and wouldnt answer my queries. And when i asked him whos the serior I could talk to. He tells me "Im the seriormost that you can get upto..there is nobody above me you can talk to".
Now what do i do???

If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

If you need to uninstall and reinstall iTunes, your music files should not be erased or affected in any way. It is always a good idea to back up your data before making any changes to your computer, though.
