Stalling problem after new HD and memory and Leopard

Dear co-mac-users,
I am facing a really annoying problem the last couple of weeks.
I have a macbook 2Ghz Intel core duo and have upgraded it a couple of weeks ago.
Thing is that I changed the hard drive to a WD 320GB that works perfectly in Mac, put in new 2x1GB memory (instead of 2x512mb)(it's native MAC memory from another computer) and installed Leopard instead of Tiger.
So i changed three things at the same time.
Everything works fine, but my macbook stalls in every program unexpectedly
(it can run smooth from 5 minutes up to a hour, but suddely it stalls). I never experienced this before and it is of course abnormal.
My question is, which one of the three upgrades I did, is probably causing this?
Y'all know the spinning color wheel, well I've seen it too much. Sometimes, after 30secs, it stops spinning, and I can continue my work, but mostly it keeps on spinning. I even can't force quit anymore and have to shut it down by holding the power button. This extremely annoying!!
It isn't related to a specific program (it occurs while surfing, while in photoshop, even in phone booth).
Please somebody help!

It's an anti-virus related issue. First tried to disable only protection, firewall, etc., but it did not work fine.
As suggested, so I deleted KMS (but keeping the application settings and objects in quarantine), and was finally able to complete the installation of the update.Then installed again KMS and everything still works fine.
No experience of Wi-Fi issues.

PhotoStream is purely a conduit for transferring pictures added to or taken on one device onto all the others seamlessly. Photos are held there only for 30 days. There is no way of accessing, viewing or deleting individual photos; you can reset the entire Photostream, erasing everything.

Sorry for being unclear.
When I am using the update in the App Store App, there will be a list of various applications that have updates to be installed (Final Cut Pro will be in this list). I will already be logged in with the Apple ID I use for everything (my dev account). I will be able to update all of the other various applications needing updating except for my Final Cut Pro. When I click the update button next to the FCP update, it will give me an error saying "This download is not available for this apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled"
I have not had any applications refunded or cancelled and this has only happened since my update to Yosemite. FCP was working fine until the upgrade. Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

No Sound after New HDD and recovery on CQ61

Hi All,
I am at my wits end trying to repair my mother-in-laws Compaq Presario CQ61-401SA !! She had a major crash on her HDD which could not be recovered, so after buying a new one and the recovery disks from HP here is where I am.
I have installed the new HDD. I have recovered the sytem software and Windows 7 64-bit. I installed all windows updates, and installed her own software, mail etc, and restored her files I had backed up. I then, quite pleased with myself took the Notebook back to her, but when we installed Skype, we discovered no sound ! I have tried upgrading the drivers and notebook bios, but still nothing. I have tried the WIndows Troubleshooter and the HP troubleshooting but there is still no sound !
I have taken the machine back to factory state again, without any extra software or files, and still cannot get a sound from the machine ! If i power the machine and repeatedly press a key, the speaker beeps, so i know it is working ! HELP HELP HELP !

You can try running the Apple Hardware Test from your installation disk. I also know that optical drives can cause this problem so it may be worth disconnecting the Superdrive and see what happens.

Problems with new iMac and Adobe Creative Suite 2

Just wondering if anyone can help me out. I am a Graphic Design student and just bought Adobe Creative Suite2. I installed it on my new iMac, and it wouldn't open InDesign or Photoshop although I had no problems with Acrobat and Illustrator. A pop-up window stated that the program "unexpectedly quit". I have uninstalled and reinstalled three times and was on hold with Adobe Tech Support for three hours until I finally gave up. If anyone knows what's going on I would appreciate it!

I dragged the installer from the install disk to my desktop and was more successful in installing problem CS2 apps. Make sure to update everything as well. Some times it takes a restart to get the finickiness out of PS.

MBAM console not accessible after new installation and self service re-direct to give foreign key issue

If that is the only link or admin console as well then if anyone can confirm what rights difference a user get when he is member of MBAM helpdesk, MBAM Advanced Helpdesk and MBAM Administrator group.
Also if i can get any help with the self service portal redirection then that will be really helpful. i was also checking if this could be because of any kind of certificate issue as server name was renamed after SQL and IIS installation.

Problems after an "erase and install"

Hi,
I recently had problems with my mac and i needed to do an "erase and install" with the original Mac OS cd. Perhaps, before loosing all of my data, i saved it on an other macbook.
When i re-install my Mac Os software and all of my data (pictures included) i've just realize that i've lost the software iphoto 8 that came originaly with my computer.
When i bought the computer about a year ago, there was no cd of iLife or the iPhoto software with it.
How can I have iPhoto back?

Printer Problems after new Belkin router installed.

Had to get a new router and after installing it, found I could not print wirelessly from my laptop. The router is recognized by the printer and the laptop but when I try to print I get a message that "The printer is not connected." The printer is properly selected on the laptop. The printer is a HP 8500 Wireless. Any ideas would be appreciated. The router is a Belkin 750 and getting technical help from them is fruitless. Their customer support is in India and I have a very hard time communicating with them. I have gone through all the HP troubleshooting steps and did not solve the problem.

Did anyone ever answer you? I'm having a similar issue. It worked great before I went to my new Belkin secure router, now it drops the printer after every single job. I have to turn the printer off and restart. I too, have done all the steps in the HP troubleshooting and Belkin support just *****.

Problems after new Client IR10

I just installed the new IR10 and after that I could NOT start msi-installation from servervolume anymore.
e.g. adobe professional / groupwise 2012 setups.
got MSI-Error.
I tried this with Windows 8.1 and 7 on 3 different Machines
after rollback to IR9 it was functional again

MSI GT680 turbo/battery problem after new motherboard

so basically my dc power jack burnt out some components on the previous motherboard (dunno why the dc power jack is connected with the motherboard as you have to open everything up to get to it, kinda stupid imo) so i got a new one and put it in but the laptop wasn't turning on...long story short i gave it to a professional who said that those little strip connectors that connect so many components were damaged and he had to replace them and the laptop worked fine...today i took it off charge for the first time and after a few mins on battery it shut off suddenly even though battery was 100% and there is no indication by the system that is indeed damaged (i contacted the repair guy and he said its probably a faulty battery) and other then that when i turn turbo on, it comes on for about 5 seconds before automatically turning itself off...i've no idea what the problem could be; any suggestions?
could it be that i need to update my bios? (currently E16F2IMS Ver:1.0M)

p.s on the msi gt680 support page the new bios and ec only have the non win8 version; can't i flash them to my windows 8?

As far as the BIOS, the 'Win8' and 'Non-Win8' bio's are only in regards to what OS ORIGINALLY came installed on the system. The GT68X series weren't being sold with Windows 8 pre-installed I believe. I would just install the Non-Win8 BIOS's as it shouldn't make any difference for your system.
well the turbo button issue was cos of the new nvidia drivers, just rolled em back and its ok...and ohhh thanks for that ill try flashing them and see if it makes a difference

Skype problems after New update

Hello i was never got problems in skype.This is the first time... After the new update it's updated normally and restarted i signed in and for 1 minutes all normal , after it started to bug the grapics for example the chat messages are showed each in other ,two messages or more in one message and it's laggs , not only with chat is the problem with everything what i open in windows after new skype update.... if i close skype with quit skype everything is working fine.If i click on for example friends on skype half shows the friends half the recent and if i scroll down show one of my friends in list bugged in.I think i can't even tell how looks like if i minimalize a part of skype is on my wallpaper still bugged like v**it.I tryed to reinstall serval times with older versions and with newest versions but the older version's installers doesn't work because show an error messsage:Can't communicate with the server.After reinstalling the newest version i click one skype one of my friends and shows the following error message:Not enough storage to process this command.And the chat windows appears still like v**it.Web skype client works fine i don't know the PC versions of skype why doesn't work please help me.It's urgent. IMac (Late 2006) Stalls with EFI 1.2 and Leopard

A few days ago, I installed both the iMac 1.2 EFI Firmware update and Leopard on my late 2006 20" iMac. Since then, I've seen random momentary stalls throughout the system.
It sometimes happens while scrolling a web page, displaying a sheet, opening a stack, browsing CoverFlow, and so on. I don't know how to intentionally recreate it, it just seems to happen. It often (always?) seems to coincide with some disk activity.
I don't remember this behavior on the same hardware in the past, so either it's something with the firmware update or Leopard. Has anyone seen anything else like this?

Some people reported various bugs after installing the firmware update. Shutting it off and turning it back was all that was needed to fix the bugs.

Problems after new installation (Runtime workbench not working as expected)

We have just finished installing new ECC & Netweaver in our company.
On PI side, I created a sample file (Payload) and did IR and ID configuration
and saw the payload getting picked up from the source directory and getting
posted in the target directory successfully.
However, when I went to Runtime Workbench and clicked on the Adapter and
File adapter to see the messages, I dont see anything. It is just blank.
However, when I click on Display it shows integration server and 4 items under it. 4th item is Adapter Engine which has a RED button next to it, indicating there is some problem.
When I click on the Adapter button to see the list of adapters, i see again a red button next JPR. However, File doesn't show any error message. But when I double click on File adapter, instead of showing successful messages, it shows a blank screen as if no file has been transmitted.
Also down at the bottom of the Runtime Work Bench Screen
Self-Tast Status and
Are Communication Channels without errors
also show a Red buttons next to it.
By double clicking on 'Are communication Channels without errors - Details", I get the following error message:
1 communication channels have an error status0 communication channels inactive0 communication channels not providing any status information0 adapters logging communication-channel-independent processing errors .
This is a fresh new install and any feedback on this will be greatly appreciated.
