Stalling while creating pdf

i am trying to make a pdf for the first time. i am using AA 7.0 and word 2004 for mac v, 11.0. there appears a small AA window in Word now one idicated that it is "convert to adobe pdf". When I active this a window "Acrobat PDF maker" comes up. Things seem to be going along fine until the status bar reads about 9/10 complete. It seems to freeze at this point. I have tried this 5 times now and get same result at the same point. when i open the adobe pdf 7.0 monitor - in "active": on top it says "jobs stopped" and at the bottom the name of the word doc. I have tried hilighting the doc
clicking on "hold" and then "resume" hoping to jump start -- doesn't work. when i click on "completed" it list the same work doc as a word doc with the entry "completed" next to it. There is no completed pdf doc of this file anywhere on the hd. what's up?

PdfMaker hasn't reliably worked on the Mac Platform since its inception.
Update to AA 7.0.7.
then before opening AA after upgrading. do find file and locate all the pdfmaker files. should be 3 PDFMaker.dot (for word), PDFMaker.xla (Excel), PDFMaker.ppa (PowerPoint) Remove to Trash.
open Acrobat. Should either say its detected missing or damaged files.
Allow Acrobat to fix. If it doesn't go to help menu to detect and repair menu and run. Its possible they've finally fixed it.

Error while creating PDF object

We are using Adobe Interactive Forms with Guided Procedures. Netweaver 7.0 SP14 (Dual stack Java & Abap). All was working well it appears until we configured SSL for ADS - don't know for sure if this caused the problem but it is the only change we can identify around the time that our problems began.
When we attempt to Create an Impersonalized Form we receive the following error -
Cannot retrieve template structure: Execution ended in an unrecognized state
When we attempt to test a callable object associated with an interactive form we receive -

In both cases the entries in the default trace log are the same -

Joe,
If you originally configured ADS without SSL, I would recommend going back through the ADS Configuration Guide for your NetWeaver stack and make sure all the necessary changes for SSL were made. I've seen another case where a step was missed in SSL configuration for ADS which caused a form to error.
If everything looks good based on your SSL configuration, I would recommend creating an OSS Note.

I have a issue while creating PDF image for invoice in Hebrew language . I can able to create a PDF image but it' showing junk characters instead of Hebrew characters.

I am also facing similar problem.My system is unicode enabled and i am using the device type I8SWIN and courier font .
But still i am getting junk characters for Hebrew characters in PDF.
Can any one suggest me what is the exact device type we have to use for unicode enabled system and also for non unicode enalbled system.
Is any related to truetype font here .Kindly let me know .

Scrollbar appearing while creating pdf using AlivePDF

Hi,
I am facing a problem while creating pdf using AlivePDF.
I have a VBox on which I am adding multiple pages. If the content overflows it shows scrollbar. All this is working fine.

the wrong type or a required value was now blank. It is also
possible to have existing logical errors in an iif() or other
dynamic evaluation expression that was not previously examined;
until now. So, is there any unexpected or exceptional data the
report cannot handle?

The document is based on some tables (it's a pricelist for our products), there are also some links to some .eps files (which are correctly displayed on screen, so the path is correct).

The file (or better the book made of about fifteen FM files) was created by someone else, on another PC. When I open it, I get the error. When I send my files to another person, he can create pdf files without any problem.

While creating pdf from html, the alignment is not proper

Hi,
In my application, I am creating a pdf report from html using (using Generate pdf 1.1 - HTML URL To PDF activity) which contains certain images and descriptions.
But, while generating pdf the alignment is not proper. In the HTML there is no paging, but in the output pdf the image div is getting broken when new pages are generated.
Some blank areas are coming the report.
Actually I need an exact replica of the HTML as a pdf, with paging.

Some pictures are removed while creating pdf from MS word

I have some problems with creating PDF from MS word 2007 file.
I'm using Acrobat X pro and MS office 2007. My system is windows XP Pro SP3.
I'm making some documents including many tables and figures. They're created and modified in MS word and when I publish them, I have to convert them in PDF files.
At first, the body of the document and figures are separated. I converted them individually and insert the figure pdf files to the body pdf files.
One day, my boss wanted to combine the seperated word file into one file and I did it. There was no problem before I created PDF file.
There are sample of the PDF.
This is a part of missing picture. After conversion, another parts are unseen and I can find only this part.
Sorry that I can't reveal all parts of picture.
As you see up there, a little part of whole pictures are found (but they are reversed) and another pictures are just missing.
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

I don't know about the PC version but in the Mac version if you don't have drawing objects checked in Print and
in the view menus, when you print to PDF, the images won't be there.
I would assume there are the same settings in PC even if you Print to PDF printer or what other method available to PC.

How can we create each page in different file while creating PDF with FOP

"stopped" status while creating pdf from AI

Hi, my friend taught me a way (to "print" pdf) to create PDF from illustrator that could make the file size much smaller, but now my question is, it works in my macbook (ppd version 1.1) but not my desktop imac (ppd version 1.0), the printer status always jump to stopped during the process of creating the PDF, anyone got any idea why? is it because of ppd version different? where can i donwload the latest ppd version. Multi language not supporting while create pdf report

When we click on print button its creating xml file successfully in multi language for the template and its generating report in html and rtf formats.. when we try for pdf its not showing correct format...also its creating pdf when we try with bi publisher desktop...

A part of an image frame is on other page as well, it is misplacing while creating PDF for print

I am working on a design in which there is an image frame box with outline & shadow. This box is continuing from one page to other page as well. (80% on one page & 20% on the other) When I am previrewing it in InDesign Booklet SE, it's showing perfect but when I created new document in that and look at the design that image box is coming only on one page not on the other...I am trying to break the box into two, but the problem is outline...it creates outline on all the 4 sides on both parts of the broken image frame resulting in outline in between the image, which is where the page folds. I don't know how to solve this. Will highly apppreciate any response/ideas. Thanks!

InBooklet SE had some problems with creating new documents and frames that crossed the spine, as you've discovered.
This MIGHT work, though: copy the image and paste in place so you have two copies on top of each other, then crop them in opposite directions to stop at the spine. I surmise you've added a stroke to the frame, so use the direct select tool to select the frame edge along the spine on each one and delete that segment. This will probably be easier to do if you put the images on separate layers so you can hide one while trying to work on the other.

Print text in Bold while creating PDF

I am mapping data in the XML to a Template designed using LiveCycle Designer ES3.
I need to print some of the text in BOLD.
For exmple in the following XML, when we display the text in PDF, person names should be in BOLD.
Part of the XML that is fed to template designer.

What is expected in the PDF:

Is this a new form, or one that was working before ? Has something changed on the system ?
Those errors dont really mean anything, so need to understand more around what is happening - a snippet from the log file just prior to the errors to see what is going on ?
