Standalone window title is now file name

The window title for standalone movies used to come from File
- Properties - Project Name. Now the standalone window gets the
title from Project Title (i.e. exported filename) that you enter
when you publish.
This is not true for swf files - they show the Project Name
(from File-Propeties) in the browser's title bar.
Anyone have a trick for making this work the way it used to?
I'm reporting this as a bug.

I want to display the File Title instead of File name in the search results. For example when i do the search for the HTML Pages i get the File Names i.e. Index.html However i want 'HTML Page Title' to be displayed instead of File Name.

Hi Vaib,
first, the search result is displayed with some layout set. The standard layout set used is the SearchResultLayoutSet. This uses the StandardSearchResultRenderer as it's collection renderer. And this in fact renders the display name and not the ID: <i>rnd:displayname(contentLink/[1;2-3]/alignTop/space-right=30)</i> within "Displayed Properties". Maybe on your site the default settings have been changed.

I want to display the HTML file titles instead of File names in the Search Results. I've tried to give this command in the 'Visible Properties' in the 'SearchResourceRenderer' as:-

Summary of steps:
1) Standard Layout Set used: SearchResultLayoutSet
2) Create a new layout set using ADVANCED COPY
3) Change properties as you require
4) Next modify the search OTH file to reflect this newly created Layout Set (under KM > root > etc > oth > search.oth edit xml file property rndLaoutSet from SearchResultLayoutSet to MyCustomSearchResultLayoutSet)
5) Check in the document to complete the editing process if Edit Locally is used!
6) Lastly, activate the OTH file by
     Setting Debugging settings via Debugging Settings
     Performing a normal search
     Clicking Rendering information and then following link OTH Overview click on Reload
7) Reload above reloads the OTH file and performing search again will yield the desired result
8) To turn off the Rendering Information link remove the user id from Debugging Settings.

How can I save the web page by using the Page Title as the file name ?

When i use Internet Explorer ,I can save the web page by using Page Title as the file name(as default no need to adjust anything). But when i use Firefox ,It can not use the Page Title to save as the file name. How can I do that like in Internet Explorer?

Topic title overwritten with file name when importing html-file

I have a problem in RH8. When I import a html-file that has a topic title that is different to the file name, RH somehow overwrites the topic title with the file name. The html-files that I need to import into my help project DO have a topic title (with the html tag 'Title') so this is not caused by an empty og non-existing title tag.
I have searched the forum and found that this was also an issue in RoboHelp 6 and by then fixed in a service pack. I have long ago installed the two service packs to RH8, but I can see in the 'read me' for the service packs, that this has not been dealed with.
I also have RH 7 installed on my pc, and the problem does not occur in a RH 7 help project.

Yes, I am sure I am not mixing up Topic Title and Topic Heading.
The files are generated in a Access database created by our own developers. We have used this database for generating html-files for our RH-projects for years without any problems.
Below I have copied the HTML code from one of theese files (with the file name '10001.htm') before importing it into RH8:

Finder is unable to locate photos by Title, only by file name

I was able to locate all my pictures by simply typing words from the title (in fact I did that yesterday morning), but now Finder is unable to locate those files unless I search for the file name (For example: DSC005873.jpg). Why did it stop working? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated as it's a pain in the butt when you've got over 2000 photos.

How to make Title same as File name using Batch?

I will be having hundreds of PDFs each month that will need info in the Tile field in Document properties. We create our PDFs from Quark using Distiller. I have found an option in the Batch process in Acrobat for editing the Document properties. Is there something I can enter in the title field that would instruct it to pull the file name as the title? I compare this to using &File in Word when instructing it to include the file name in the header area. Anyone know of any way to do this? I have seen multiple posts to the Acrobat forum regarding similar issues, but none with any responses as to how to accomplish this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

For dumb population then use Batch Processing inside Acrobat ..

How to show document title instead of file name in Document Manager

In WebCenter Portal 11g PS5, there is the Document Manager task flow:

it displays a list of a Folder and its contents, much alike the output of the COLLECTION_DISPLAY service in the Content Server.
I was wondering if there is a way (customization) to display the dDocTitle of content items (or particular content items) instead of the file name.
While displaying the filename makes sense in a lot of cases we have a lot of Contributor Data Files that are saved as dDocName.xml which doesn't make much sense to the user viewing the folder they are stored in.

Photostream for Windows keeps changing image file names

Hi, I have iCloud and the Photo Stream application installed on my Windows Vista PC. I have just returned from a trip abroad and took photos on both my iPhone 4 (updated with iOS6) and a separate digital camera. Having taken thousands of photos, I've managed to combine the two collections of photos into one and renamed them in sequence i.e. USA(1), USA(2), USA(3) etc. I want to be able to convert this completed photo collection into a Photostream to share with others on their iPhones and iPads respectively.
I know Shared Photostreams are limited to 1,000 photos each, however when I create and add the new collection of photos to a new Photostream album, it chooses to rename the files and display them out of the desired order. The file names are usually something like 'IMG_00605' and while some are in the correct order and placed next to one another, others are not. Despite playing with the display settings, i.e. Sort By>Name, Date Taken, Tags etc I still cannot get the photos to display in the order I set out in the first place. As you can imagine this is incredibly frustrating, having painstakingly gone through all my photos to ensure they were ordered and renamed sequentially.
Does anybody know how I can rectify this and display my photos in the order I want them to? Any suggestions would be greatly received.

Changes to names in window don't affect file names

I had to reinstall many items on my computer recently, and keep encountering strange little things that did not happen before. Sometimes there are errors on a song title or artist name. In making those changes in the iTunes window in the past, I would see the song show up in a folder where all the music is stored. Now, when I make the change, it only takes place in the iTunes window, and does not affect what is in the folder, meaning I need to go back and make the change there, also. Anyone know what needs to be done to recreate the type of link I had before?

iTunes prefs -> Advanced. Tick *Keep iTunes music folder organized*.
If the songs are not in the iTunes music folder spcified in prefs, they will not be changed.

Downloads window is blank, shows file name but doesn't show up speed, percentage of download etc.

When I start downloading something, the Downloads window opens normally & also shows what is being downloaded. But, it doesn't show downloading percentage, downloading speed. (all things which usually show up below the name of file). But when minimized, I can see percentage.

How can I prevent Firefox from cutting off the title of a webpage for use as a file name when printing/saving as PDF if there's a / in it?

Like it says in the question - when I try to print/save a webpage as a PDF, Firefox (version 36.0, Windows 8.1 64bit, German) usually uses the page's title as the file name. Slashes are, of course, not allowed in file names, but instead of just leaving leaving it out or replacing it with a hyphen, the title is cut off and everything before the last slash is gone, which in some cases results in very odd and misleading file names.
Is this a known bug? I couldn't find anything. So I'm just wondering if there's either going to be a fix anytime soon, or whether there is a simpler solution than to generate a different title sans slashes specifically for Firefox users.

There is more than one proxy type.<br />
Only an anonymous proxy will hide the IP and build two connections, one between you and the proxy and a second connection between the proxy and the website that uses an IP from that proxy.<br />
A normal proxy merely passes all traffic without affecting it, so websites see your IP in such a case.

I am using the following code to download a file
the code is working fine if the file name has only english or alphanumeric data , in case the file name is arabic , the download window displays a wrong file name.

FM for get a PC File Name in a window

Hi
Does somebody can help me, i need to call a FM wich shows a window for enter a PC File Name (with F4 browse for windows).
I do not refer to FM 'F4_FILENAME' wich we use when we have a file_name field in screen and we use when user press F4 ; instead i need to call a window with the file_name field for the user enters the file name.
Doe somebody knows some FM wich i can use ?

I'm going to try to explain; i refer this:
I have a report wich is generated of course after the user fills the selection screen with the data desaired. In this report list i have a button wich make some process; when the user press that button, i need appears a popu window asking for a file name.
That is, i do not refer to FM wich calls the browse window for select a file name (like F4_FILENAME), instead i refer to some FM wich calls a popup window asking for the file name for user can write the file name in the input field, and that input field has the F4 help for users can select the file name instead to write it.
I hope i explained well.
I search with 'filename' and 'file_name' in SE37 but there are a lot of FM's and i really don't find the right FM, does somebody knows a FM wich i can use ?
