Standard Apps for ipad2

For the price of the ipad2, I wonder why Apple does not provide the standard apps clock, stocks, and weather for the ipad2, either for free or extras for purchase?

They were not on the first version of the iPad either. As to why they aren't installed you would have to ask Apple as they have never given a reason (and speculation on here isn't allowed) - but there are plenty of those types of app in the App Store.

Are you selecting the apps to sync in the apps tab of iTunes. Are you signed into the correct Apple ID .... The ID that the apps were bought with?

Good for what? That would depend on what you want to use it for. Also, it would depend on whether you have a 3G unit. Without 3G to stream maps, the GPS would be mostly worthless for on-the-move navigation.
Even with 3G, it would be real easy to blow right past the 256MB plan and even the 2GB plan while out and about.

Netflix APP for Ipad2

Not able to find the Netflix app on itune store. Install "Cinemap", "iwatch" free APP. But they are unable to play the movie.

Yes, it's the Mail app that is built-in to the iPad.
If you set your email account up in that as either IMAP or Exchange following Google Sync's instructions, it will sync as it does with Outlook.

How does one delete or rename albums in Photo App for IPad2

I cannot locate the tools mentioned in the manual for deleting or renaming albums in the Photos App for Ipad2

What version of iOS do you have on your iPad ? If you have iOS 5+ then you should get an Edit button at the top right of the Album selection screen which allows you to create albums and delete those new albums - you can't directly delete albums that were synced from your computer, you have to remove those from your sync list and re-sync in order to delete those.

On my PC, I have accounts for each member of our family since I do not want our child (4 years old) to have access to everything on the computer.

Well, while I do agree with Chris's sentiment, just let me expand by saying I know of no app which will work on any content aside from that created in the app (iOS doesn't work that way) and, in addition, the encryption protocols used in the various apps will probably be specific only to that app and make content readable only to it, or through it.
If that meets your needs then go for it.

Cannot purchase apps for ipad2

I recently purchased my ipad2 for my son with autism. I have downloaded several apps through the itunes store with a paypal account, but now I am getting a message saying that I need to contact I tunes support to purchase any apps I try to buy. The itunes support is not very helpful or user friendly. Has anyone else had this problem and what do you do to resolve it?

In answer to your four things: 1) yes, my CC is a Visa 2) My credit limit is far higher than I've ever needed; plus I have no problems with non-Apple purchases; 3) I verified my security card with a call to the bank issuing my card; 4) iTunes store is available in Mexico (but not the music part.)
I have already called Apple USA, Apple Mexico, and my local Apple store. Apple USA and Mexico focused on the need to be very precise in entering all fields. I even changed my official address with the credit card in order to make it "fit" the Apple Mexico iTunes store format better. The Apple store technician here, however, agrees with me that there is an Apple inherent conflict between the fact that my credit card is USA based, but my billing address is in Mexico. The billing address being Mexican is a requirement per the Apple site information--and that is precisely what I have.

I'd like to add that this problem is the reverse of one I had late last year with Apple USA. At that time, Apple refused to make an order for me because my billing address was in Mexico, and Apple seemed unwilling to believe that my credit card was indeed a USA credit card. (I was planning a laptop purchase for a USA trip--a perfectly legal item to bring into Mexico.) So, I walked into Apple SF, and had no trouble using the same credit card to buy a laptop off the shelf--not the configuration I'd wanted to special order, but. . . .
Also of interest--the company from which I bought the digitally transmitted iTunes card is, after investigating the issue, processing a refund to my account.

Thanks. Because I tried to use Airport Express when traveling in China. Because this time I only brought my Ipad2 ONLY. It did not work at all in any hotel as some members said in the discussion without reconfigure the airport Utility.But luckily there were wirless wifi in the hotel lobby althogh it was very uncomfortable. Wish apple can solve this problem soon.
