Standard BW Cubes

Hello
I need to know if there is a standard BW cube where you can get a Cash Flow Report and a standard cub where you can get a Bank Balance Report.

It available in Reporting Financials (EHP 3) , apart from the standard FI this diffrent i am sure you will get using EHP3.

Hi Pooja
Delta capable is based on datasource but not on ODS or cube.
You can get this info from ROOSOURCE table,give data source name and check the field "DELTA".
If the field is left blank,it implies that the datasource is not delta capable.

HowTo Transform an Standard-Info Cube to a rel-time InfoCube

Hallo everyone,
i read the manual:

and trying´ to transform my copied standard InfoCube to a realTime Info Cube. But that doesn´t work. I deleted all data by Menu-> InfoCube-> Delete Data. The manual declines, the cube would change to inactive. But that's not the fact, the cube is still "active, executable".
What is the problem?

The short answer is, you could use: SAP_CONVERT_NORMAL_TRANS ABAP report to convert the cubes from normal to transactional and transactional to normal.You could also update the field "Transact" to false by going to SE16, look for RSDCUBE table with field InfoCube, Infoarea.Pick the InfoCube that you want to convert in the change mode and update the field "Transact".

Queries from the Standard Inventory Cube 0IC_C03

What are the advantages/disdvantages of building the queries which have been delivered with the 0IC_C03 off a multicube. If no disdavantages any reason why SAP have not delivered a multicube with the model? Thanks

I dont see any disadvantages building the same queries off a multi. Many companies have a std to build queries of multi rather than the basic cube. Multi's most of the time are paired of several cubes and not rather on a single IC. So i dont think SAP can anticipate different needs of hell alot of customers.

If you have the name of the Infocube. Go to RSA1 transaction. Selecct Infoproviders in the left pane. Click on Find--> enter the cube name you want to search
Standard cube starts with 0(zero), whereas Customized cube starts with Z.
2. How to implement in dev. If standard info cube is not exactly suitable then what to do means can u make changes to standard info cube(I hope it wont possible)
I dont think you ca make changes to standard cubes. If you want to make any changes, copy the standard cube(If u right click on cube, we have a option of copy) & so the changes in the cusomized cube.
3.how to create customized info cubes.
Just goto RSA1-->select infoprovider in the left pane.
In the right pnae, rightclick-->create Infocube. Infocube is created!

Standard PS (WBS) Extractor and cube that contains data generated by CJR2

Hi Experts,
Can someone recommend a suitable standard extractor for us to extract plan data that was generated in R/3 PS, via transaction code CJR2, as well as a standard PS Cube that stores that data?
The extractor and Cube should be able to capture characteristics such as, sender cost center, Activity Type, WBS element, Activity quantity, total costs, version, posting periods, fiscal year etc.
I searched through those many extractors and cubes, but could not find one.

do create the customizing cube with ur reporting requirement and create the copa data source and use the required fields and can obtain ur report by creating the report on the customized cube.

For which functinality you are trying to create VC with services.
This is mostly used in SEM BCS.
You have to create cube similar path like normal cube, but select in the properties virtual cube, services.
There is a standard FM which connects the Virtual cube to the required cube in BCS. ( this is done by BCS data basis generation function) and we have to do nothing for FM.
In BCS we use virtual cube only for reporting purpose, since standard BCS cube cannot be used for reporting. hence what we do is create another virtucal cube very smiliar to BCS cube.
Then both the Virtual cube and BCS cube are connected by standard FM.

Z cube created on IC_C03 not working correctly

Hello Friends,
We are using 0IC_C03 cube in BI 7 for getting the Inventory data from R/3. And have created a query on this cube which shows us the stock on any posting date, basically a replica query of MB5B transaction in R/3. The cube and query is working fine, data matching with R/3.
I have created a copy cube of 0IC_C03 and created a simillar query like Stock on posting date. Now when I loaded the data from 0IC_C03 into the copy cube, this new query on this Z cube is showing only the summation of the total issues and total receipts on any day and not the total stock or inventory. I understand that this is because an inventory initialization has not been done for this Z cube. Can anyone please tell me whether such a inventory initialization isrequired for this Z cube given the fact that it is pulling data from the standard 0IC_C03 cube.

Safe Boot , (holding Shift key down at bootup), use Disk Utility from there to Repair Permissions, test if things work OK in Safe Mode.
Then move these files to the Desktop for now...

Inventory cube adding fields

HI,
What If I will add two new fields(key figures) to the standard inventory cube 0IC_C03.
These two fields for opening stock, closing stock and end value.

Hello Srikar,
To populate those 2 fields for the History data:
1 If you have those 2 fields coming in from some Master Data, then you can probably have a look up to those master data and load the fields.
2 If you have those fields coming from modified Datasource, then you have to delete and reload the data to have those fields populated in the Cube.

Dear Vijay.
First you need to get the list of common characteristics and Dimensions.
Build a multicube to consolidate all key figures from vaious sources with common characteristics.
Then a dash board can be created using BSP or web designer from various queries.
Hope this gives an idea.

Inventory SnapShot Cube and Daily Load Cube

Our requirement from the snapshot cube is to provide queries which show end of month balances similar to as what is shown if I run queries from the Standard daily cube (0IC_C03).
The scenario is as follows:
Query requirements are to show ending balances for the period:
Details are as follows
1) I create a query based on the 0IC_C03 cube, the characteristics are say for example plant and fiscal period and the key figure is Quantity Stock
The results will display the balance at the end of each period so for example
The Key Figure in this cube is non cumulative and is 0TOTALSTCK
Period: 01 Quantity: 0
Period: 02 Quantity: 5
Period: 03 Quantity: 8
Period: 04 Quantity: 2
Period: 05 Quantity: 2
Period: 06 Quantity: 2
Period: 07 Quantity: 2
2) I create the same query off a version of the SnapShot cube as defined in the How to Inventory guide
The results displayed are the movements (changes)
Period 02 Quantity: 5
Period 03 Quantity: 3
Period 04 Quantity: -6
Has anyone got a solution so that I can have the same result set for example 2 than what I get in example 1?
At the moment the approach I plan to take is to datamart 0IC_C03 and work with the cumulative key figures which are used in 0TOTALSTCK. I would like thoughts on this approach and solutions otherwise. Thanks

Standard BW Report for Purchase Requisitions

Hi All,
My client is looking for some requisition based report (besides the standard SAP MM reports). Are there any BW reports that will provide details on say, requisitions per cost cent, materials, etc..
I know this may seem like a strange request being that you can get this info from the PO standpoint but I figured I would put it out there..

Enhancing Virtual Cube 0FIGL_V01

Hi all,
We want to enhance the cube 0FIGL_C01 to add few additional characteristics. We want to know whether we can genereate Balance sheet reports (in balance sheet format) from 0figl_c01 cube itself or we have to create new or enhance the virtual cube 0FIGL_V01. I couldnt get the name of the functiona module which is called by the standard virtual cube.
