Standard form print view problem

hello,
I have a problem with a standard form (SAPscript). I have a different print view for each printer defined in the system. This problem appeared after a system upgrade.
Do you have any idea on what could be the problem source?

Smart forms Print preview problem

I am working in CRM2007. I am creating number of different type Smart forms for our client requirement. All Smart Forms working fine in WEB GUI. In Web GUI there have two buttons; one is print buttons and another one is Print Preview buttons. When we press print buttons it is directly go to printer for printing service order or service invoice or sales order or sales invoice whatever user is selected. Means working fine print buttons. And in case when we press print preview button it is open selected forms in PDF format; it is also work fine in our desire. But problem is here PDF format front size; which is very small. And after looking the PDF format if we select for print out of this PDF form; the print out orientation is Landscape and front size is very small. Now my question to all of experts u2026u2026u2026.How I change PDF front size and orientation? u2026u2026u2026u2026u2026u2026any type of BSP Enhancement or functional setting is required? Sapscript Standard Text Printing - Format Problem

I wanted to print one standard text(Basic Text of Process order) in sapscript.I am using the INCLUDE command instead of Read_text FM , so that I can keep the Paragraphs of that text intact.But I am falling short of two requirements of my client.
1. He has highlighted Some words of the text and underlined some of the text. He wants that character format intact in spascript.How can I do that?
2. The script initaly was using Read_Text and was storing the value in a variable wa_line and was printing in script as
[LI ] DESCRIPTION: &wa_line&
so it was printing like
DESCRIPTION: fasfoihfaishfiahfiafhfihfahfiashfiahfahfiafiasfihahfisahfafasi
But now I am using INCLUDE command as follows
[LI] DESCRIPTION:
[: /] INCLUDE OBJECT BLAH BLAH
So it is printing like
DESCRIPTION:
fasfoihf
aishfiahfiafhfihfa
hfiashfiahfa
hfiafiasfihahfisahfafasi
I want to get them in same line.
I mean
DESCRIPTION: fasfoihf
aishfiahfiafhfihfa
hfiashfiahfa
hfiafiasfihahfisahfafasi
Is that possible?

Hi Anid,
When you are creating your standard text the default value in the tag column is *. If you change this value to = (Extended line) the display of standard text will start in the same line as the previous value (in your case it will display the standard text in the same line as DESCRIPTION:).

Adobe form:Data view problem

Hi,
My problem is i am not able to see data in my dataview on layout.
I have everything in my interface, context, but i'm not able to see anything in dataview.
i tried reinstalling adobe designer but it didnt worked.

Hi Karthik
Make sure in Context part the data you need is in active mode . ( SET TO ACTIVE)
because in data view you can only see active fields.
and then activate your interface and form again.

Adobe PDF Form print preview problem

Hi All,
I am new to Adobe PDF form. I have created one small form using the t-code SFP.
I am testing this form directly from the T-code SFP.
When i use the print preview to see the fom output it is givine me below exception.
"Device type unsuitable for ADS documents"
I am using the printer LOCL.
Can you please help me to rectify this problem.
I am not able to undestand why i am getting this error as i am new to ADOBE form.

Adobe form print preview problem.

Hi Experts,
when I am trying to print preview to one of the billing document form VF03, i am facing an error message
ADS: SOAP Runtime Exception:
CSoapExceptionDocumentForm(100103)
This error message is specfic to only one billing document only in production system.
Please advice me on this.

Thank you for the update. i have the point you have menitoned it is all fine.
But another strange point is for the same billing document i have another output type assigned, if i use other output type i am able to see the print.

    I searched for stadard form SD_BIL_PRINT01 in my system in SFP transaction , but its not available .

Since upgrading to Mavericks - Problems with PowerPoint Print View

Since I upgraded to Mavericks recently, my Print View in PowerPoint 2011 has changed. Prior to Mavericks I was able to see the full slide in print view. Now when I preview a slide, the right hand side of the slide is cut off (about half inch). Is there any thing I can do to fix it? Any advice will be most appreciated.

The driver should be part of OS X, not something you download.

I suggest you delete the printer, turn it off, restart your system, and turn the printer on and add it back in.

Problem creating a PDF from the "print view" of a web page

When creating a PDF from the "print view" of a web page, the features in the print dialog box overlap. When the PDF is created, the words are garbled. e.g. words apppear as jzhhhxxf or zxihcj.

Use a job settings that embeds the fonts. If you look at the PDF, the font properties probably do not look correct and don't include embedded fonts. Also, set the printer to Adobe PDF before you try to do a print, so that the web page can try to properly adjust to the printer.
Why not just try opening the web site directly in Acrobat?

Getting problem while copying standard form

Hi All
In Tcode PDF8 I tried to copy the standard form for country grouping 40 i.e. India. But not getting any forms when I press F4 there. Tried for USA and Germany standard ones are there. Only for India no standard form is appearing.
Can anybody help me out plzz.

Thanks.. I've already changed the TCODE from code and second thing about Include, I've also changed the name of BOTH (two Includes) and it is working fine.. but error still coming...

and also, I've done only one change in Include, I've added one select-options over there and getting the same error, but if I add PARAMETERS, then its executed successfully. But I want add a "Posting Date" as SELECT-OPTIONS.

VF02 Print Out Problem

Hi all,
We are facing the problem while taking the print out from VF02.
We are using ZFORM designed by our ABAPer.
While using standard form (LB_BIL_INVOICE) its working and while using ZFORM, we are able to see the print preview but not able to take the print out.
Error message is shown as given below
"Output could not be issued"
Message no. VF304
Diagnosis
An error occurred while output was being issued. It is possible, for example, that the form to be issued has not been activated or has an error. An error may also have arisen while the data to be issued was being edited.
Procedure
Check possible causes of the problem.

Go to VV32 and check wheather the condition record has been maintained or not.In VV32 .
check the access sequence , wheather it is billing type / payer in your output type RD00 .so only for that particular payer only that ouput may be generating . .But also see in the V/40 wheather for the billng type the ZFORM which you have created has been assigned or not .

Form with view having instead-of-trigger gives FRM-40501 and ORA-02014

I created a data-entry from with a 'view' as datas-source block. This view gives crosstab query results with a data from a single base-table but it is complex and uses decode and aggregate funciton 'max' just to create group by in a crosstab query. I have created a instead of trigger on this view to update or insert a record in base table. A test to update base table works fine at SQl prompt. A test to insert at SQL shows '1 row created' but in fact when I query the database, it does not show newly inserted row. Also, when I compile and run this form, I get FRM-40501 and ORA-02014. Help!!!
I know that DML operations on a view with DECODE, aggregate functions or group by can not be performed but I thought the "instead of" trigger on the view to update the base table should eleminate this restriction and hence pusued further but now stuck!
BTW: I can post details of base table, view, and instead of trigger, if you want to see them to further decipher the problem. Just let me know. Thanks!

I just forgot to ask you one question: In my experience with forms, I have captured before_value and after_value and implemented logic based on results many times. This form I am working on is kinda first multi-record form where I have a tabular page with date and about 7 other columns forming a grid of cells, which users wanted. Each line is a record from a view. I tried relying on forms to do DML on underlying table and since the underlying table is a paritioned table, I ran into FRM-40509 and ORA-00936, where returning ROWID becomes problematic. I found a note 167550.1 which says to set Key mode to 'Updateable' or 'Non-Updateable' but not 'Unique' or 'Automatic' as a solution #1. Solution#1 failed i.e. the errors persisted. The note also says in that case, implement Solution #2, which is to write explicit trigger to do each of the DML on view. Here I run into kinda problem: In a tabular form with say 31 records each row having 7 cells which is like capturing 217 before values..that is too many. Addressing them with ':old.xxx' or ':new.xxx' which works in instead of trigger, does not work in trigger inside forms. Without checking these before and after values, it inserts rows with nulls for empty cells where we wnated it to skip and do nothing. So iam looking for a way to capture before value using some kinda standard form mechanism..Do you have any suggestions! (Sorry for long explanation but that is the only way to do it..)

Email of Purchase Order coming with Standard Form

Hi,
I have configured NACE.
I am able to generate the PO through email.
But, the problem is, system always picking of standard form instead of "customized form", (though I have configured customized form for emailing).
Whereas, in case of printing, there is no problem and customized form is printing.
I do not understand why the system is picking up the standard form instead of customized form in case of emailing.
Any ideas will be appreciated.

Hi,
The issue is with the smart form.
Ask your ABAPER to include formroutine "ENTRY" in the smartform developed for the output.
Also in NACE Check in the processing routines for the relevant output type if form routine "ENTRY" is maintained.\
