Standard function for returninf time difference in days and hours.

Hello all,
Can somebody tell me whether there exists some standard function module which can calculate the time difference and returns the calculated time in the form of days and hours ?
e.g. the time difference between the date 1.12.2007 from 7.00 pm to the date 1.1.2008 till 9.00 pm is
30 days and 2 hours or 30 : 2.
answer as soon as possible.

Take your Mac to a location with a fast, relaible Internet connection that will be all yours during the duration of the download.
If you want to complain, PLEASE call Apple and do so.
Internet only downloads of OS X is completely stupid, it assumes everyone has reliable Internet everywhere and /or no data caps.

My phone goes off in any time of the day and the only way to get it back is through pressing and holding of Home and Sleep button together

I restored it on I tunes as well did something on the phone. The lastest seems to have helped it but I haven't used it much yet! Thanks for the help & I'll let you know!

Can edit event title, day, and hour, but *not* minutes - Help!

I can edit everything about my calendar event title, day, and hour, but not the minutes. This is very annoying and I'm not able to have accurate calendar entries.
It's like there' s a glitch in the program. Can it be reloaded/rebooted?
Using iCal 3.0.8

Function Module for Date/ Time difference in Working Days

Hi all,
Are there any function modules which will calculate the difference between a date AND time, but in working days?
I can use the FIMA_DAYS_BETWEEN_TWO_DATES_2 FM for the dates, but I need to include times in this as well.
This is for situations where the 'starting date' is a non-working day, and the 'end date' is a working day. In this situation I need to take all the hours and minutes into account, which happened on the working day. To give an example -
Start date: 04.07.2010 (Sunday - Non working day)
Start time: 21:12:36
End date: 05.07.2010 (Monday - Working day)
End time: 04:47:24
I realise there is a Time option in this function module, but when I test it, it doesn't seem to be returning the desired results (returns 0 for days and time). I am using '5' as the I_STGMETH and 'GB' as the I_SKALID.
I need a calcuation which will return the time, post midnight on the working day - in this example, 4 hours, 47 minutes (seconds are optional!).
Can anyone help? - can I still use FIMA_DAYS_BETWEEN_TWO_DATES_2 but with different parameters?

Thanks but this FM does not seem to account for working days.
For example, if I use:
DATE1                           04.07.2010 (non working day)
TIME1                           04:00:00
DATE2                           05.07.2010   (working day)
TIME2                           21:00:00
It will give the following results -
DATEDIFF                                                      1
TIMEDIFF                                                     17
EARLIEST                        1
I don't want to account for the non-working day so the result I actually want would be to calculate from midnight on 05.07 to 21:00 on 05.07 which should be 21 hours.
I suspect I probably need to include the STGMETH and the factory calendar somewhere in the FM?
Does such a FM exist, or could anyone help me with some ABAP for this?

Standard function for settlement period

Does someone knows if there is a standard function that could define the settlement period based on a date (DD.MM.YYYY)?
The aim of this is to use it in report RKO7CO88 thanks to a link with table TVAR because we would like to run in background the settlement without having to change every month the variant.

create 2 variables ...one for fiscal year and another for posting period...
for the column which should take the previous period...right click on the variable and you will see offset...put in -1....but what if the user enters 2006.001...should it take 2005.012 ?? In that case you should write an abap code i think ....

Approval view for working time empty fields 'message' and 'standard time'

Hi experts,
We want to use the SAP-standard program to approve working hours in the Portal. The basic settings are all done, but we still have a problem with some fields.
When we use the SAP-standard approval view SAP_LINE (IMG --> Define approval views) and we go to the portal we see that the fields 'message' and 'standard time' are filled and the hours with a warning are red. When we create an exact copy of view SAP_LINE with the same detailscreen selections, the fields 'message' and 'standard time' are empty and the warning does not turn red.

I found DB_UPDATE_TABLE for update operations, but i need a similar function for select??

I have just been tasked on getting some info and setting up dataguard for some users for read-only/reporting purpose.
The 3 questions I am being asked are:
1. What is the time difference in applying changes from primary to physical standby compare to logical standby
2. What is the overhead maintenance of having a standby database?
3.What latency is involved?

Physical Standy where its a read only DB.
Logs are applied.
Logical Standy where it can be Read / Write DB and the logs are applied in terms of SQL Statements.

Configuration Fails - Time Difference Between SA and SSO

I know this is going to be a light-bulb moment for me but I haven't been able to figure it out yet. I'm configuring SA and at the vCenter SSO credentials page. I put in the credentials and get the following error:
Installation aborted - could not authenticate to vCenter Single Sign On due to time difference. Please synchronize the clocks of Support Assistant Virtual Appliance and vCenter Single Sign-On server and retry the operation.
I changed the timezone for the SA appliance to match that of our vCenter server and I'm still getting that error. I noticed that the time is off by 7 hours on the appliance so I tried to trick it by setting the timezone to somewhere in Europe (which then showed the same time as vCenter), but it still failed. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

-: If you have AD.... ensure that the PDC\DC is pointing to a NTP source

Time differences between camera and iMovie

Hi,
When I import footage from my Mini-DV camera into iMovie I am seeing a difference between the time displayed on the tape and time displayed in iMovie. The camera says 48 seconds while iMovie says 44 seconds. I thought that it might be related to the framerate of the video in iMovie, but I have changed this to 25 fps which matches the video camera and am still seeing a different time. The framerate needs to be perfect as the footage is going to be shown side-by-side with a animated graph which builds with time.
Does anyone have any idea what could cause this time difference?

< scratching head > we had something about a NTSC/PAL issue.. hmm.. ?
if possible, open an existing PAL project (window titles says DV-PAL), save it under a diff. name, import into that project, delete the not wanted parts..
another option is, quit iMovie, delete ~/Library/Preferences any com.apple.iMovie.plist file.. relaunch iM.. that 'resets' iM... sometimes, it starts to stumble..
